  1. @Yarco how did you do it? Whats your story?
  2. Keep going. In difficult times, try get out of your head and be present in your body. Im on the path of becoming a coach as well. I havent made a single dollar yet but I wont give up. I have a really hard time reaching out to ppl, especially by phone while email is way easier. But I dont want to use that because coaching is about relationship building, email isn’t that personal.
  3. Hi, I want helt with how I should do with my lifecoach certification. I have never coached before and want to start my own buisness coaching people. Ive been looking for the IFC accredited schools and they are a bit pricy, but I can afford it. My question is, do I need to go to a IFC accredited school? I know the answer is no that I dont have to. But how did you guys do? Going to one of those schools will give me credibility with the clients and the school will teach me coaching and give me practise before the real deal. But Ive also looked at programs that dont teach acording to the ICF standard, but they also teach coaching in their own way. Those schools arent as high price as the ICF accredited. SO my question is like, Do clients really care about me being ICF certified? Do they even know what it means? All of the best coaches out there today dont teach according to the ICF, they teach on their own to my knowledge. But thats maybe because they have been in the game for so long that maybe a name for them selves ? For all the lifecoaches around the forum, please come with your experices and take on this. Thank you!
  4. For those doing the practise in KSR book. Is those practises "brain orbit kriya"? Saw this video talking about the dangers of doing it.
  5. @kerk thank you. But would it be wrong practise it after the pranayama. The technique really makes me go deep
  6. This question might sound silly but when yogis are talking about meditation, what do they mean? Let me explain.. I ve just learn about the HRV technique or as they also call it the "hong sau". But when do they practice this? Is it after the maha mudra and the pranayama routine? Or is it in a separate sitting?
  7. Those doing the techniques in KSR by Stevens, how does your daily routine look like? mine is 3x Maha mudra, 24x pranayama 10min meditation
  8. Is it anyone doing the KSR book technique that has gotten good progress? Or are all here doing the other technique written by ”SG”?
  9. @MountainCactus OMG thank you for your replies, so much good information! You linked the paramahansa lessons, is there anyone here Who has bought the lessons and want to share a review? after hearing that not chanting AUM in the chakras while doing pranayama is tamasic ive gone back to lahiris teachings.
  10. @Thomas_VH Your country should have some official page for registration of a company. There should also be alot of information on how it works, I dont think you are the first person in your country with these questions. How the company side of the buisness works with taxes and all will fall naturally as you start, dont worry about it. Im in the same spot as you, I want to start a online coaching buisness but i dont know how to attract clients. Also, how does it work, do you email each other? skype calls? How do you do it? Do you coach in your native language? I have trouble knowing if I should start my company before I have any clients or after when I know I actually have any?
  11. When a yogi is talking about meditation, what does he acutally mean? Im reading the autobiography of a yogi and in that they sit and "meditate" for like 4hs. Do they mean doing pranayama and doing kriyas or is it just that they sit and do some concentration meditation or like the "do nothing" meditation?
  12. Ive been doing my Yoga routine for almost 2 years now. I remember in the beginning when I first started i could see circles of lights channeling when looking up at the third eye while doing the practise. That has sort of disapeared, it was long ago I could get that back. Does that mean I am being sloppy with my pratice or does that just come and go?
  13. Is it necessary to get certification before you start your own company that teaches kriya yoga/yoga and breathing exercises? Its not that I dont want to go study it but with all the books ive read and all my experience I feel I can teach. Going on one of those courses would of course give me more knowledge but mostly it would just given me a diploma showing my customers that im certified.
  14. I would firstly start online coaching for self development. but I dont have any certificate. I would like to have one later on but for I dont have the money. I want to start coaching others and get the business running but can I do that without a coaching certificate?
  15. Ive been doing the pratice taught in KSR for six months and after that ive changed to gamanas practice with the ending at sahasrara for 1,5 years. Even with Kriya supreme fire. Its a very powerful practice and I can feel strange things happening to my body at night. And i also feel my chakras burning and sometimes itching in the area around. i have a question for those who have been practising for a long time. is my current practise to powerful for me? i havnt practised for so long. i am thinking of returning to KSR practise, to get back to the rota, the ”original” practise as i want to call it. to get the chanting in the chakras. I read somewhere about the practise would be tamasic (negative) if it doesnt include chanting in the chakras.
  16. what do you feel about this? Im thinking about changing from the gamana routine with Kriya supreme fire to lahiris routine.
  17. @Pacific Sage Ive seen that, thank you im gonna start doing some of the movements and make a routine of it
  18. @reves Thanks for the reply. Do you have any good hatha yoga routine, ive looked it up but there's so many
  19. How do you guys cope with strong emotions boiling up? Having unbalanced energy in the lower chakras. I recently started doing the kriya supreme fire and feel quick bursts of irritation, eating alot more and hard to sleep. I know this can be the shadowside of yoga.
  20. ive been on the kriya yoga practice for around 14 months now. My routine is: 3xmaha mudra 1x kriya supreme fire 72x pranayama 5min concentration I dont know why, but my concentration has gone real bad. I fall into the monkeymind alot. Any suggestions for what to do about it? Maybe practice concentration by looking at an object for a long time? Ive also noticed that my short term memory has gone crazy bad. I have to list everything im gonna do for the day or Ill forget it. Even before I go into a store I can forget what one thing I was going to buy, i go completely blank. Maybe I just have alot on my mind right now but Ive noticed these things anyway. The kriya practice has not been what it once was were I could go real deep.
  21. @GreenWoods Thank you for the reply! I sometimes have hard to know how much I should constrict my throat. but i just try to make the breathing smooth
  22. I have a question, how to not do a correct pranayama? how do I know i do it wrong?
  23. After a year of practicing Kriya Yoga and meditation somehing really came up to the surface, i self sabotage my relationship. Espesially my relationship with my GF. Its like when its all good i need to make it worse. Its like i dont want to be loved, by anyone.. i recently had my birthday and i dont want anyone around celebrating me, i just dont feel like it and ive never felt like it before either. But i can feel alot of sadness and loneliness that it is like this...and i dont know what to do about it. Also alot of anger and frustration is there to
