I understand that enlightenment doesnt make you perfect, you are still vulnerable to worldly temptations,But Leo is the Zen master really enlightened? Or is he just a false prophet? He has a impulse control problem, and is definitely a sex addict and ergo a neurotic. All these sex crimes would have landed him in jail where we would not normally expect enlightened people to land up.

Yes there are lots of brainwave products available and they aide in meditation.Their effects have not been documented yet,but you can use them as an aide.no harm in trying.I use them while meditating, and it feels great. Dont forget to use your earphones. -
Newer studies claim that that 10% theory is a myth, and it has been proven that it is.http://n.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_percent_of_the_brain_myth I have read that people who use both the left and right sides of the brain more than just one side are smarter as they have greater synchronicity between the two parts. You can increase awareness through mindfulness mediation and it really works.Mindfulness based cognitive therapies are exclusively designed to raise your awareness. Other Cognitive functions can be improved through training like memory ,spatial reasoning etc and a healthy diet and exercise.Try daily practicing puzzles like Rubix cube, crosswords and read and read tons of books. Some studies claim that listening to Classical Music can raise your IQ by a few points.Diet plays a vital role too along with exercise. I have tried a lot of methods to increase IQ,some work but to not any satisfactory extent like increasing 20 points or 30 points.I think as far as gross IQ is concerned, your pretty much stuck with what you are born with. People like Tesla,Einstein etc have admitted that they are not exceptionally smart, but they are good out of the box thinkers. I would like a video on this too.

I have noticed certain traits in myself as well as many others that are popularly called cognitive distortions. They come in various measures like over interpreting ,negative forecasting, black and white thinking, and hundreds more.I think all this falls in the category of neurosis. All these are holding back our creativity and are definitely neurotic traits.I can definitely remember times when I was free of them which begs the question how did I acquire them?Did it originate in me by itself or did someone plant it in me?Or is it that I just started overthinking due to a phase of boredom and is just a product of my brooding?Knowing its origin will help me ward off any future twisted thinking that may manifest in my thought process.Do you guys have them too?How did you overcome them or plan to do so?

I understand why you would want to quit tv.I was in your position long back and what worked for me was that I started a introspection session about the damages that tv did to me.I reflected on the fact that how tv distratced me from studying ,made me more anti social,I made a list of all those things. Then I made of list of productive things I could have done instead.I actually wrote that list. After doing that I came to realize that other people are suffering from the same problem and this tv addiction is an epidemic. See,TV shows are created so as to hook you up and make you obsessed with it.The actors, producers directors toil day and night to prepare ingenious shows like GOT,BB etc to appeal to your low consciousness. You just need will power to elevate yourself from that level. Cut off your cable,if possible or move the tv out from your room, these are the practical things you can do. Remember, you have already watched your last show, and there is no tv in the new life that begins after you read this

The desire to learn something new and master it is probably the greatest motivation for me.I liked Mathematics in school so I devoted hours to master it.A good education is essential for personal development as it makes you a well rounded person and it increases your thinking power and faculties.I think you should try to fall in love with the topics to gain some motivation. As you go higher try selecting your field to something you love to study than what others tell you to. What else could work is trying to find a teacher who teaches you in an interesting way.The role of the teacher is important. He should motivate you. Things like changing the world for the better could be a big motivation. what should not be your motivation are 1)getting better grades than your friends 2)Social Recognition 3)To satisfy your ego

Well, first of all I would like to thank Leo and Actualized.org for providing this platform.I am very optimistic about it's potential.I have been following Leos videos for some time although not very regularly, but I must say that each is a genuine marvel and I can see just how much effort and research that goes into each of them. I really like the fact that his videos are long and elaborate,as the depth he goes into can only be covered in long videos and I earnestly try to stick with him to the end despite a busy schedule.I would encourage him on making long videos,as these leave us thirsty for more . As time went by I sorted most of the things in my life at the age of 21,while most of my peers struggled and this is largely due to my getting initiated at the remarkable journey of self help at the age of 14 .I acquired this habit mostly from my father, although unconsciously (he never taught me this). But I became a voracious reader solely due to him and started gulping down book after book. What mesmerized me back then and it still does now is that how limitless this journey of self mastery is.How infinite and boundless this journey is and the fact that no matter how far I progress I still feel like an amateur.I think that no arena in life is so inexhaustible as this field of personal development. The more you level up the more you begin to realize just how much low consciousness you had.And one thing it can do to you is it can totally blow your mind to the point where you become lost in this infinite ocean of possibilities.Your brain just freezes due to all this overload. The journey is arduous, and you have to undertake it alone. I get excited when Leo talks of the things that I realized through my journey(which is a tiny percentage of what Leo has covered),and I feel like "Shit ,he is saying the exact same thing I felt".Leos teaching sometimes open new vistas and sometimes consolidates the old ones which I was unsure of. Now I have encountered an obstacle on my own journey,I am now wholeheartedly focused on enlightenment and the other higher states,But what happens to me is that I keep deviating and losing my way.I keep getting confused as to which video to watch, which books to follow what to practice an the lot. What I am missing out due to this is that I am not looking inward and and the introspection that I should devote myself is suffering. I could go on and on about this but to make a long story short I was thinking about an Enlightenment course just like the Life Purpose course. This could chalk out a basic guideline so as to keep us from going astray, and keep moving forward. All thoughts in this topic are welcome, and keep self -actualizing folks

Almost all the time. The price of self mastery is isolation. This isolation kind of sometimes lead us astray and we begin to backslide.Sometimes I feel just how much we could gain if we could have undertaken this journey with other people and been there during the down times. But I guess ultimately it all comes down to you and you definitely have it in yourself to overcome this isolation.
