@levani Most people are deficient and if you are, fasting can worsen the problem. But if you know you have a good level of RBC magnesium you're good to go.

Don't worry about alkalinity, the only reason why it matters is that it impacts your digestion. And the more acidic, the better for your digestion when you drink the water before your food - that's why for example ACV helps digestion. You wanna drink water that is pure, free of fluoride, chloride, and BPA. That matters 100x more than alkalinity.

@levani Hi, it's definitely a good idea to add electrolytes. Beware of potassium chloride tho, your body can't really utilize it and it'll do more harm than good. You don't really need potassium unless you fast for over a week but if you wanna get the benefits of it, you wanna go for potassium citrate or bicarbonate instead. Also, magnesium citrate is a good supplement to take when fasting.

Hey man, switching PUFA oils (canola oil, soybean oil etc.) for EVOO is effortless and it's one of the best things you can do. Same for eating Himalayan salt instead of table salt. Also if you fry your food I encourage you to go for cast iron instead of teflon or alluminum. And replacing plastic cups and containers with glass ones also will pay off.

You will probably have no energy the 1st 2 days and then you'll feel better and better. I can promise you you will get way more done if you fast, you just have to get over the period of fatigue.

@Lyubov If I was you I'd use this as an opportunity to learn lucid dreaming, must be much easier for you. But if you're looking for supplements, GABA and 5-HTP or l-tryptophan might help.

It really depends on the source of protein and how active you are but generally 0.5g / lb of bodyweight should be enough unless you're an athlete. For sedentary people, as little as 0.3 is enough in my opinion. Also there is no problem with eating it all at once, muscle protein synthesis isn't something you have to care about unless you're a professional bodybuilder or something.

It must be even more than 100 lives because you're also wasting less water, producing less CO2 and you're motivating others to go vegan, too. But I don't think it's necessarily selfish not to be a vegan. For example dumpster diving is even more sustainable, same for eating roadkill deer instead of veggies from a supermarket.

@levani Thank you for sharing and good luck with your fast! 1 kg would be 9000 kcal by the way, at least when it comes to burning fat because 1g of fat has 9 kcal. But the weight loss from fasting is still amazing because you're not gonna lose a lot of muscle

@Village I completely understand you because I also used to demonize veganism and used to believe that animal stuff is absolutely necessary. I still believe that it's super easy to become deficient in many things as a vegan but these deficiencies can be managed. There is a reason why almost all the sages and highly conscious people are vegans. It's not like Matt Kahn is falling for an ideology. Try contemplating this on psychedelics. If you're right about eating meat then it'll be a pleasant experience although it probably won't. I'm not trying to convince you of anything by the way.

I don't know if it matters or not but it certainly isn't a big deal. We tend to put a lot of effort into these tiny things while neglecting the ones that actually work. Don't worry about this shit unless you already sleep in a pitch-black room with optimal temperature and have a perfect wind-down routine, these will do 100x more than facing east.

@Striving for more Hey man, some uncommon things that can help: - A weighted blanket - Mouth taping - A mix of ACV+honey before bed, I have no clue why it works though - Sauna + cold shower right before bed - The obvious habits like sleeping in a cold dark room, avoiding blue light etc. still are really important

Hi Mada, make sure to take it with lemon water or synthetic citric acid. Makes EGCG like 7 times more bioavailable.

This young man has made a really good video on this topic. Besides that I agree with everything @datamonster said. Probably 80% of results will come just from eating whole foods.
-
@integral Building blocks of protein. Some foods have more amino acids per gram of protein than others.
-
I'd like to see this too but you can answer this for yourself if you contemplate this question for a few hours.

@Village Try it out and you'll find it's the exact opposite. The calmest and most peaceful I've ever been was towards the end of a 7 day fast. Obviously starving is not good but it's not a thing if you have over 9% BF.

I tried mushrooms and acid 7 times and only tripped once. It was for the time I had them before I got into spirituality. I even did a 70 minute holotropic breathing session and nothing happened. Also went to a darkness retreat where people report having massive hallucinations but I had none. Why is that? -

@cuteguy Man I'm so glad you shared the video. I never realized I could be autistic but I probably do have some light form of it. Would never find out without you. -
@Leo Nordin I support you man. If you live in a warm climate with lots of fruits you can do it. But the more your body suffers the more you will have to care about survival and the worse for your development. Check out Rob Greenfield, he's a living proof that you can survive comfortably with pretty much no money.

@acidgoofy Wow that is interesting. I don't have OCD but I'll look into it, thank you for sharing. @Peo I tried higher doses too, had 100 mcg couple times. Maybe I should try even higher doses but I doubt they will work. -
Villager Albert replied to Villager Albert's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Peo 50 mcg 1P-LSD. Tried both pure LSD and 1-cP since then -
@Javfly33 It isn't, there's no problem with doing it.
