I have never had a course in my life, but the one single course that I really trust is the Inner Engineering course by Sadhguru (Isha Foundation): it consists of two parts: online sessions (videos) + initiation into Shambhavi Mahamudra I have finished the online videos. But the the initiation is not available now because of corona. But once it is available again, I will be the first one to submit, even though it is pricey.

Hello, I follow Leo's videos and advises and I try to implement his teachings/advises/techniques.... all the time. I can't describe how much I am impressed with his teachings and techniques.. BUT: trying to implement some of his advises in my life I came across a potential contradiction which made me confused what to do: Let's say that I have a doubt or a problem in my mind about something and it makes me feel uncomfortable, trying to deal with it according to Leo: 1. Leo said: (do the things that are emotionally difficult).. which means I should leave the doubt/problem unsolved/uncertain and stay with the difficult emotion (uncertainty, discomfort, unpleasant feeling) 2. Leo also said: (awareness alone is curative) i.e keep doing the wrong behavior but be aware all the time... which means I can continue doing the wrong behavior (in this case: seeking certainty by solving the problem in my mind) but being aware all the time... which means I should solve the problem/doubt/worry in my mind and become certain, alongside being aware all the time. so the question is: should one do the wrong behavior and be aware? or should he/she not do the wrong behavior and stay in a difficult emotion? note: I am new to the forum so excuse me if I am doing something wrong here. Thanks in advance

Thanks for sharing. I follow different principles of Leo and some others, I dont have constant list of principles to apply, I just rotate between them every now and then. As a result, for some periods of time I feel good and I feel like things go on well (I just really feel right, clear and good), and for some other periods I feel the opposite. Regarding this specific matter (choosing between doing the emotionally-difficult thing or the easy unwanted behaviour), I have realised that doing both is good.. So most of the times I go for the "doing it" as opposed to "not doing it" and this applies to both of them. I have figured out that this method sheds the light of awareness on it and which will eventually give you a clear answers about it in the future. it's like an internal reflection on every behaviour, and which exceeds words and thinking.

@Chakra Lion Lion, nice to meet you and thank you for the support and interaction. Also, I appreciate that you shared things about yourself. "Spiritually" speaking, I am trying to grow and I am only learning. The reason I started to get into the spiritual journey is that I had severe OCD and Social Anxiety almost 2 years ago. It was unbearable so I started researching and I have came across these principles of consciousness, meditation, self-realisation. and I started then with practices which I didn't take seriously at the beginning, but at some point I felt like there is no way to end this suffering. Currently I am doing more spiritual practices than an average spiritual seeker (I guess) and I have succeeded to put an end to all the anxiety problems that I have (OCD, Social Anxiety..etc). But there is still a lot for me to learn (even basics) and there is still a lot of, different kind of, suffering to get over.. I still can't consider myself a happy person unfortunately. I think I'm in the stage of the negative that precedes the radical positive, at lease hopefully Really, I have watched a lot videos and never understood enough. I have some questions for you: - what are the states of a chakra and which one is the best? (blocked - active - overactive) is this right ? some people mention (balanced/imbalanced). - if I'm to work on the chakras, is there a specific order? for example if my third-eye chakra is open or active, do I have to take care of the other five that are below it? - what is meant by: for example: "the base chakra is associated with stability and security and basic needs (sleep, eat...etc)"? what would be the case if this chakra is blocked or active or overactive ? Greetings, Mo

@wordsforliving @Chakra Lion @Elton thank you very much guys for interacting.. this is my first experience in sharing information on forums and it seems very beneficial to see what other people deal with thing... really helpful. I like this... nothing is always right or wrong. in the moment this could be "decided" with awareness and intuition. the only problem is that I sometimes find it difficult to find the distinction between whether something is coming from your heart to follow (intuition) or whether it is coming from a place of compulsion/addiction/obsessiveness (dopamine releasing). this is a good idea love his quotes !

@Elton thanks for your quick answer. yeah I understand your point. the thing is that I find both quotes of Leo good and effective, and I see good results out of them both actually. but sometimes they contradict so let me give you a more clear example: let's say I have an urge for binging a quick delicious meal: - doing the thing that is emotionally difficult ----> the emotionally difficult thing is to not cook/buy that meal. - awareness alone is curative (doing the wrong behaviour and being aware) ---------> buying and eating that meal and being aware. which option do you think is the right thing here ?

I had social anxiety, OCD, ADHD, GAD, eye-contact problems, real fear issues.... I remember really how bad it felt... I remember going online for solutions and clinging to every optimistic opinion and obsessively read it... I was so pathetic. now, 2 years later, I am dominating every freaking social interaction (it also helps me getting laid hahaha). I have a very strong eye-contact, I dominate interactions, I am gaining females attraction and males respect even though I have a horribly ugly appearance. I am a real alpha male. I am getting admired, respected, highly valued, highly looked upon, desired.. with every interaction with a person or a group of people. briefly, when people look at me, I see -very clearly- that they are amazed, impressed and most importantly submitted. I feel like a beast. The main thing is to train yourself to get comfortable with the uncomfortable... so the main technique that all the sub-techniques derive from is to : deliberatly put yourself in fearful/uncomfortable/unpleasant situations (like social gatherings or whatever feels uncomfortable to you) .. so it's not only accepting fear/anxiety..etc and being ok with it, but deliberately going towards it and deliberately seeking it like you are thirsty for it. So just to give you a direct thing to apply in your life: if you apply them you might get rid of it in a week believe me (it took me 2 year to figure it out).. just focus on doing the practices (techniques), don't try to understand how the problem works or how these solutions work... just freaking do them as much as you can: - the main technique/practice (mindset + attitude): deliberately put yourself in fearful/uncomfortable/unpleasant situations - the sub-techniques/practices (habits) - mandatory: * take a cold shower every morning for 3-5 minutes (WARNING: gradually find your way into it, not 100% cold water from day 1, watch Wim Hof for this and follow his safety guidelines). * do Strong Determination Sits as often as possible.. at least twice per month, preferably more (watch Leo's video: meditation on steroids - Shinzen Young's video: strong determination sits) * do (as often as possible) something that invloves sprinting, like: football - running - high intensity interval training (for running).... 4 times per week is good enough. * Nofap (start with 90 days of hard-mode, then easy-mode for the rest of your life). * intermittent fasting (preferrably Sadhguru's way). or any other kind of fasting. also as often as possible. - the sub-techniques/practices (habits) - optional: * take walks - an hour or a half as often as possible (don't under estimate this) * do Shambhavi Mahamudra - 21 minutes / daily (watch sadhguru's video) .. if you do this daily, after 6 months you will not be able to feel anxiety/fear even if you want to + a lot of other unbelievable benefits... it's pure magic! * stop social media * no caffine (or at least reduce it) * workout (at home or at the gym) 3-4 times per week is good * sauna (every now and then). * a full day of dopamine fast (2-4) times per year (the more you do it the better), it's very very effective ... watch it on the (improvement pill) youtube channel * eye contact: lock eyes with people when you talk to them as long as you can.. when you break it, start over. Keep in mind: - the more number of these practices you do, the faster you'll get rid of social anxiety (and all other kinds of anxiety disorders) - the more frequently/often you do them, the faster you'll get rid of social anxiety (and all other kinds of anxiety disorders) - you can take yourself gradually into them (in terms of: how many of them - how frequently - how intense) ... except for nofap (don't do it gradually, start now). - it's a journey.... the more you do, the faster progress you make... it can be finish in one week, and it can be finished in a couple of years.. it all depends on how many, how frequent and how intense you do the work. - these techniques are not only to overcome social anxiety... they have a very long list of amazing other benefits also like: happiness levels that you can never imagine existed - higher intelligence - better physical fitness - feeling aliveness and relief like when you were a child - amazing immune system - confidence through the roof - gains with the opposite sex - mental clarity - higher productivity - social popularity ....etc. you'll be on fire! - the most important thing is to get settled into the habit i.e: continuity
