Do some meditation if your not already doing it every day, create a journal for yourself to record your insights and write in it daily/weekly. I'm not sure where you are in your journey but this is a great time to read, watch videos and educate yourself on whatever area you want to grow. It's probable most of the friends you'd make won't know anything about self-actualization and won't be able to grow you as much as the right book or video. I don't know your situation so it's hard to judge but perhaps give that a try and see how it works for you.

what about people such as Eckhart who were able to awaken without doing any spiritual work or even having knowledge of spirituality. Is this the universe using one of its forms as a vessel to teach everyone else about awakening? Is it possible this could happen to my friends or family who don't do self-enquiry or understand what enlightenment is? -

Hey pal, because a lot of people (me included) don't like to talk much about more spiritual advanced stuff because "normal people" tend to judge a lot and don't accept truth. All respect to you of course, but why would you let this stop you? Sure most people in society aren't conscious but the whole reason we have this forum is to discuss such things. Hope your doing well in these times -

Hey Deso, Definitely not an enlightened being but here's what I think. Is there anything an enlightened being would likely not choose to do or loose interest in doing? If your goals prior to enlightenment regard building up the ego, then you will most certainly see such pursuits as pointless and let them go. This might be things like worrying about how many likes your profile picture on Facebook gets or how many followers you have on Instagram. could one being enlightened still consume alcohol and get drunk? They could yes. Could you still have fun partying? Absolutely. Maybe more fun than before. Could you still be a massive extrovert joking around and talking bullshit all the time? Can still be a massive extrovert, I'd say it's somewhat unlikely this would change. In regards to joking around and talking bs all the time,it depends what you mean. Joking around has no reason to cease after enlightenment. If you think about what teachers like Eckhart Tolle talk about, they stress the beauty of the present moment. Egoic consciousness requires constant entertainment and distraction, awake consciousness does not. To realize enlightenment is to value truth. If your going around lying all the time, this is likely a feature of egoic consciousness. The enlightened teachers I've seen in videos on YT seem to value the beingness of the present. As this is the case, idle chatter is incomparable to the joy that can be found in the now. Hope that answers it. Leo shot these interviews with spiritual teacher Peter Ralston. thank you -
If this virus is just something I (God) is imagining, then does that make it good? Absolute good that is.
