  1. Letting go of fear Letting go of fear is one of most important things a person can be taught but hardly anyone actually learns how to do it. If they teach you anything in school about emotions it's usually along the lines of coping skills and management but schools rarely, if ever, teach you how to actually fully let go of fear/negative emotions. How many of you know how to let go of fear? If you have a mechanical understanding of how to let go of fear you can relatively easily let go of all of your fear in the span of only a couple years. Fear is not a difficult thing to let go of, it's actually extremely easy, people just don't know how to do it. Understanding how fear works: Fear and any other emotion is generated by your beliefs. Negative beliefs generate negative emotions, positive beliefs generate positive emotions. Any negative emotion is an emotion of fear. Any negative frequency is a frequency of fear. You can't have a negative experience unless you are buying into negative beliefs. You can't have a positive experience unless you are buying into positive beliefs. Any kind of negative state is a fear based state. Any kind of neurosis you have is stemming from fear. Different kinds of negativity are just different expressions of fear. Pay attention to your state of being, any negative frequencies are fear based frequencies. Negative frequencies are just subtler forms of fear that have a more persistent effect in the background of your state as opposed to being a stimulated fight or flight state of being. Examples of different expressions of fear: insecurity, judgement, comparison, overcomplication, self doubt, paranoia, resistance, perfectionism, corruption, neurosis, mental illness, phobias, ignorance, arrogance, etc. How to let go of fear: In order to let go of fear you need to let go of the negative beliefs that are generating the fear. Your fear is always generated by your negative beliefs. All you have to do in order to let go of your negative beliefs is to identify them and keep identifying them. The more you identify your negative beliefs the more you will expand your consciousness and automatically see that they don't actually make any sense, and when you see that they don't make sense they are automatically let go of. The Process of letting go of fear: 1. Start by confronting individual fears, i.e. insecurity, judgement, comparison, overcomplication, self doubt, paranoia, resistance, phobias, etc. Confront the fear by doing something that you know will trigger/activate the fear, do this in a safe environment. You can do this by watching a video, using visualization, do anything that will bring out the fear in a safe way. 2. Once the fear is triggered/activated you need to investigate into the fear/negative frequency. To do this all you have to do is close your eyes and observe the negative frequency/fear and then ask yourself, "What would I have to believe is true in order to be feeling this fear?". Repeat this question to yourself in your mind like a mantra, you can make the question regarding any specific fear you have i.e. insecurity, judgement, comparison, overcomplication, self doubt, paranoia, resistance, etc. You can repeat the question mantra however quickly or slowly you want. You don't need to try to find the answer to the question, the answers will come to you automatically. 3. Continue repeating the mantra until the fear/negative frequency dissolves. This usually only takes 5/10/15 minutes. The answers to the question can come in many different forms and you might not even intellectually know what the answer was that led to the dissolving of the fear. This process is not designed for the intellect, the answers come automatically so your intellect doesn't actually need to be engaged, you just have to repeat the question while observing the fear. 4. Once the fear/negative frequency is dissolved go back to the stimulus that you used to trigger/activate the fear and observe the difference in the trigger/fear reaction, usually the fear will be less intense. 5. Continue this process of triggering/activating the fear and then doing the investigation mantra until the fear is no longer triggered/activated in reaction to the stimulus. 6. Do this with every single one of your fears until you can maintain at least a neutral state of being regardless of the situation/circumstances of your life. If you have actually let go of all of your fears this means that you can maintain at least a neutral state of being no matter what The understanding of how to let go of fear is crucial and needs to be taught to all of our children if we as a society want to continue evolving Fear is the root cause of all of the misalignments on this planet, if this basic aspect of life is not addressed none of our political strategies will actually be sustainable If you are willing, please use this understanding of how to let go of fear so that you can see for yourself its effectiveness. We need to take action to get understandings such as these taught in our education systems, its extremely important. If we could get just one United States president to understand how fear works and how to let it go they could relatively easily push to get this taught in the education systems.
  2. @Aether Phoenix Another thing when it comes to these investigations is that you can be flexible with it. I recommend using your imagination to come up with whatever question you’re most attracted or excited to use. You can also use these investigations to bring yourself into states of joy, love, ecstasy, or any other state you want to cultivate. In my experience the most high yield thing is to first use the investigations to clear out your fears and then after that, use it to cultivate the aspects of consciousness that you prefer. After letting go of the fear you can investigate in the direction of bringing yourself into a state of ecstasy or any other aspect of your true nature. An example of an investigation you could do is: What would I have to believe is true in order to not be in a state of ecstasy? I recommend clearing out your fears fist before investigating into the higher frequency states because the fear in a sense holds your frequency down and prevents higher frequency states. I have another post that explains some other mechanics of consciousness and cultivating states of consciousness:
  3. To anyone interested in expanding your consciousness and letting go of fear, here’s another extremely powerful tool: Ask ChatGPT to create lists of negative beliefs so that you can go through and identify them. For example, you can ask ChatGPT to make a list of 100 common negative beliefs. When you Identify the negative beliefs that you are buying into it automatically neutralizes and dissolves them. Identifying negative beliefs that you may or may not be buying into gives you more awareness of what you don’t prefer to believe and thus expands your consciousness and overall well-being. Having an expanded awareness of potential negative beliefs is important and very useful to the overall process of investigating into your negative beliefs. Remember that using ChatGPT to help you identify negative beliefs isn’t a replacement for doing your own investigations. The investigations you do with the process I listed in the original post, or whatever way you are attracted to is also important. Using ChatGPT to create lists of positive beliefs is also extremely powerful. When you identify positive beliefs, it gives you more awareness of what you prefer to believe, and thus you will automatically start buying into more positive beliefs. This process of using ChatGPT to identify both negative and positive beliefs is very powerful.
  4. @Aether Phoenix Thanks for your responses, I appreciate your commitment to grow. Another thing I can say is when you are confronting the fears it will temporarily lower your overall vibration, so things might be a little more hectic in your reality. The concept of burning through karma would be a good way of describing it. Any kind of misalignments within your consciousness are rooted in negative beliefs/fear and depending on how quickly you are going through the process of clearing out the fear, the challenges in your life can get amplified, but you progress more quickly. Sadhguru describes this aspect of the spiritual process as putting life on fast forward mode. https://isha.sadhguru.org/en/wisdom/article/a-friction-free-spiritual-process https://isha.sadhguru.org/en/wisdom/sadhguru-spot/life-on-fast-forward After you clear out a certain fear and give your state time to realign, your frequency will raise higher then it was previously because that fear is no longer holding your frequency down and constricting your consciousness.
  5. You're welcome! Watching a movie on madness to confront and activate the fear of going crazy would be a good way of doing it. Whatever kind of stimulus you are most attracted to use in order to bring out the fear is best. I would recommend pausing the movie at certain points so that you can close your eyes and use the mantra question, and then resuming the movie when the fear reaction is less intense or dissolved. If/when the fear gets activated again(it probably will if it's a strong fear), you can do the same process of pausing the movie and doing the investigations until the fear dissolves or becomes less intense. You could try asking yourself the mantra question throughout the movie but for me the most effective way of doing it is asking the question in a meditative like state. Another practical example for applying this process could be if you are afraid of heights, you could watch videos of people climbing skyscrapers, cranes, and other activities from high places. When I had my fear of heights, just watching videos of people doing such things would activate the fear reaction in pretty much the same way as If I was actually there. Another example is if you get triggered by drama or toxicity, you could watch videos of people who are road raging, yelling at each other, etc. For me it's a pretty good simulation and practice for if you were to be in those situations. Expose yourself to any particular stimulus that activates a fear reaction, it doesn't have to be for long. If you can get the fear reaction activated with only 30 seconds of watching a video, that's enough for you to start working on the fear. Once the fear is activated, you can sit or lay down, observe the fear and repeat the question like a mantra until the fear dissolves. Once the fear is dissolved, if you want to continue the process, go back to the stimulus and repeat the process. Each time you expose yourself to the stimulus the fear will usually be less intense until it goes away completely. It took me a couple months of doing this process in order for me to let go of my fear of heights, which was pretty strong. I prioritize fears that I feel might be the most relevent to work on in any given moment. I would work on fears that have biggest effect on your day to day life first. Other than that, whatever fears you are most excited or attracted to work on in any given moment would be best. You could use it for contractions on the body, which could be the result of fear. I've let go of energy blockages by using this process. I recommend pacing yourself and not pushing yourself more than you are ready for. You usually want to bring yourself back to a neutral state by the time you are done doing the investigations so that you aren't going about your day in a state of fear. There are also various subreddits that are all about particular phobias. You can use them to expose yourself to certain fears, so that you can do the investigations. https://www.reddit.com/r/acrophobia/ https://www.reddit.com/r/claustrophobia/ https://www.reddit.com/r/thalassophobia/ https://www.reddit.com/r/megalophobia/
  6. Enlightenment is not Insanity I see people on this forum, including Leo, sometimes equating Enlightenment or expanding your consciousness with insanity. States of high fear, which generate insanity, can often be part of the process but aren't the end point. When you are expanding your consciousness that process can in a sense force your fears to your conscious attention because the fear is what constricts and prevents your consciousness from expanding. If you take a potent psychedelic it can drastically expand your consciousness too rapidly then you were prepared to handle thus it can bring you into a temporary state of insanity. That doesn't mean expanding your consciousness is about insanity. Insanity is not the end point to the expansion of consciousness, it's part of the process if you are confronting deep and strong fears, you go through it so you can clear out those fears. It's important to understand we are not working to make ourselves go insane, that's incredibly foolish and is a huge misunderstanding of the overall spiritual process. You need to be very specific on where insanity fits into the overall process, it's obviously not the end point. Insanity is generated by high levels of fear. Here's a post that explains fear and how to let it go:
  7. I've been tapping into the state again, it's a shock to the system. My latest observations are it shoots energy up the spine, and it's like a voltage of consciousness cranking.
  8. @gettoefl States such as these could be useful but they require a lot of integration and grounding. You have to recalibrate your understanding of consciousness afterwards. I would say it's such an expanded state of consciousness that it feels alien and insane. I don't think it's actual "insanity" though, it's an expansion of consciousness.
  9. @Breakingthewall I don't know what these kinds of states are, I cant comprehend them. I honestly don't recommend them, it would be better from my perspective to work on going into states of love and ecstasy, as opposed to these incomprehensible states.
  10. When it comes to the alien insanity like state I've tapped into in the last couple hours, I've been easing into it. My current observations are that it's almost analogous to jumping into ice cold water, but for your overall state of consciousness and sense of reality. I've been acclimating and it's not actually as unpleasant anymore and it's way more manageable. It does still depend on how deep you are going into it.
  11. Thanks for sharing. To anyone thinking of traversing states such as Alien Insanity, I recommend having sufficient mastery over fear because this is a state that can activate fear like nothing you have ever faced before. I would say the goal of such a state would be to expand your consciousness, let go of fear, and integrate that into your overall state and understanding of consciousness. You just have to be very careful because it can be dangerous to activate fear to extremely high levels, without knowing how to let go of it. I wouldn't recommend this exploration for the average person, you need sufficient mastery over fear.
  12. @Leo Gura I tapped into something, that I've tapped into many times before for only a couple seconds. I cant even fully remember the experience just minutes afterwards. I'm such where I see no other option but to relentlessly confront anything that generates any kind of fear or unpleasantness within me, so that I can clear out any fear.
  13. @Yimpa I think I tapped into it like an hour ago for like 5 seconds. If you have any experience of it can you describe what you experienced?
  14. @Leo Gura Would you say that the "insanity" you are talking about can be described as tapping your consciousness into a current of a profoundly intense mindfuck, all sense of reality being annihilated? I have a certain level of mastery over fear so I'm planning on exploring such states more, to see if I can integrate it and experience it more in a healthy and grounded kind of way.
  15. @Leo Gura I just now tapped into that aspect of consciousness. Holy shit it's insane, fear needs to be cleared out before I would recommend anyone get anywhere close to such states, if ever, its absolutely indescribable. I've tapped into those states before and the best way of describing it is that its a complete and utter annihilation of your sense of reality. In order to traverse such states, one would have to have a very good understanding of fear or else it would be very dangerous. It's like you tune your consciousness into a stream of an overwhelmingly intense mindfuck. I don't understand what that state even is or what the point of it is, where it leads, etc. It's a state of absurdity, shattering of reality, emotional shock, existential upheaval, cognitive overload, etc. It's definitely not pleasant. This state could be a reflection of the profound misalignments of human consciousness. Theoretically you could align your state enough where you could traverse the state in a potentially healthy way, without the fear.
  16. @Breakingthewall Opening up to the absolute is also a relativistic process. Existence is already absolute, it's just about how much of it you are allowing yourself to experience, which comes down to how expanded your consciousness is.
  17. @Breakingthewall Everyone still has their own definition of enlightenment. I define Enlightenment as the overall expansion of your consciousness, which has no endpoint.
  18. @Breakingthewall I would say it depends on your definition of enlightenment. If we are talking about the realization of the illusory self, technically that's still a state. I define everything as different states/frequencies of consciousness, including any realization, awareness, etc.
  19. I agree. I would say it primarily goes down to each persons definition of sanity/insanity. A well rounded state from my perspective means you can be the most radical individual on the planet while also being the most grounded. Absolute radicalness with complete grounded-ness.
  20. @Leo Gura I think I understand the overall realm of the states your talking about. States that go so outside the ordinary human experience that it would be absolutely impossible to describe them to anyone and if anyone started to experience them they would think they have gone absolutely insane. I see the value of such states as long as people are able to eventually let go of the fear that those states can bring out.
  21. @Leo Gura Would you say that fear generates/leads to states of insanity? I've experienced such profound states of consciousness that I could only define them as utter insanity. From my observations you have to have the fear before the state of insanity is even possible.
  22. Yes, higher levels of consciousness will bring out unconscious misalignments more rapidly than you would face with a lower level of consciousness, it accelerates the process. It just needs to be clear that any insanity that might arise isn't the end goal to the process, it's coming up so you can clear it out.
  23. @Carl-Richard I see what you mean. With sufficient expansion of your consciousness you can get to a point where you don’t have so many limitations and constraints. It’s just that as a collective we are still working on very basic aspects of life like abundance, survival, wellness, etc. As a collective we are extremely low level when it comes to our level of consciousness and that’s why you don’t see many people breaking free from constraints. Some people do though, there are cases where people have seemingly super human abilities and don’t have the same limitations as the average person. The average person definitely doesn’t understand the nature of beliefs and that’s one of the reasons we are so extremely limited collectively. The overall collective is very ignorant to the nature of consciousness. It’s not that you absolutely can’t get to a point where you can fly or see through walls, it’s just not as relevant compared to basic things like expanding your consciousness to bring yourself into higher levels of well-being. This Earth reality is extremely limited because people choose to be fear based. If we as a collective sufficiently expanded our consciousnesses we would see a lot more “‘miracles” and things like that. The idea of someone like Jesus being able to perform miracles is 100% possible from my understanding of consciousness, you just need a high enough level of consciousness in order to do it, as a collective we aren't very close to those levels. I'm encouraging people to use these understandings so they can do simple things like let go of their fear, manifest the life they prefer, have a higher level of wellbeing. It's not as relevent to get into drastically transcending the current self-imposed limitations that are common on Earth, until we fulfill the basics, even though such things are possible.
  24. @Carl-Richard I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your entire experience is generated by your beliefs/definitions. That's all I can say, it's up to each individual to take the actions that are necessary in order to gain a direct understanding of this. I can give various practices that can give you more of a direct experience of this but I can't prove it to anyone. This goes for any other direct understanding of the nature of consciousness. I use the term empirical because it's often used in scientific and materialist contexts. Here's the scientific definition I found: the gathering of data using evidence that is derived through experience or observation or by using calibrated scientific tools. It's a term scientists can often to equate scientific studies to objective truth, as opposed to the subjective experience of an individual. They may often use this term to in a sense discredit spirituality and other ways of getting directly in touch with truth. When you say it's generated by You and not "you", that implies you are still compartmentalizing your consciousness. The "you" doesn't exists, it's an illusory limited identity. You are not your ego, and the ego is not some entity within your consciousness, it's just a neutral mask that You as Consciousness use in order to interact. People limit their identity to this mask and it creates an illusory separate limited identity, which constricts and limits their overall consciousness. I know many people on this forum might be going with many of the ideas that Leo has talked about. I agree with a lot of the things Leo says but not everything. I know that Leo still doesn't buy the idea that beliefs have the effect of generating your entire experience but I can guarantee you that they do. No one has to agree with anything, I'm just giving my direct experiential knowing. Consciousness is fundamentally automatic, so it's not like it's something you have to manually do. Your experience is automatically generated based upon what you are believing or defining as true with your physical personality construct. The actions that you take are designed so that you can guide the automatic flow of your consciousness in the direction that you prefer. You are constantly changing your beliefs/definitions every moment, its automatic, actions guide this process in whatever direction you take action in.
