I’m so ignorant. This went down while I was still in elementary school so it totally went over my head. I never gave the wars overseas any thought. Too busy gossiping about childish things. I didn’t get into politics or modern history until very recently after I had my first child at 26. It’s disturbing to think that my country bombs civilians for profit. ?

systemic brainwashing ignorance is bliss ?

I voted for Hilary. But it was only because Bernie Sanders endorses her and I trust his judgement. I resented that she was chosen over Bernie even though Bernie won the primary. I was so full of resentment I was going to vote trump out of spite just to teach Hilary a lesson. But luckily Bernie Sanders calmed his following down by acknowledging the corruption and at the same time told his followers to not seek revenge by voting for a narcissist.

The interviewer is great at keeping Trump on track.

Do you actually get your insights from source? Can you possibly describe how you do that or What it’s like? Is it a feeling? Is it a tingling on the top of your head? Is it dreams? Are they entities? What do you mean?

What if the government took over the rails?

Laowhy lived in China for 8years and became fluent in mandarin and married a Chinese woman and they have two kids. He used to vlog there. Very interesting YouTube channel. He moved back to the states because the government was cracking down on foreign journalists and locking them up for spreading “misinformation.” I was curious about what you guys think is China’s long term goal. Obviously to be the worlds strongest power. I think they have been silently observing how the USA became so powerful in just 200 years. And I think they understood our downfall is that we are too polarized. I think they made the observation that the USA is very diverse and free to protest now. So I think it’s in the best interest of China to strengthen the people’s love and trust in the government. And to turn them against foreigners. It’s easier to manipulate a homogeneous group of people like the USA in the early 1900s. The terrible things they are doing to their Muslim community is almost the same thing as what Americans and did to the Japanese Americans during World War II. I feel like the USA is hypocritical when they look down on China because they got their ideas from the rise of us.

@Arthur great choice. I love Noam Chomsky. I wanna add those to my wish list.

I like both of these people. I don’t have to agree with everything they say. But they are both intelligent people and there are a lot of things I learned. Idk why some people have to act all high and mighty like their shit don’t stink. I thought about it more and realized I was judging commie. After rereading his comment he has a point. I don’t like when the word “wrong” is used because there is no right or wrong answers. There are partial truths and partial misinterpretations. Jordan Peterson really helped me integrate stage blue ideas. I was an atheist for a very long time and dismissed all religion cuz I thought it was a waste of time. I listened to his personality lectures on his YouTube channel and his logic opened my mind back up to value religions, philosophies, and old scholars. From Jordan’s perspectives communism is dangerous because he is partially correct. It’s logical to not throw out the entire hierarchy and start from scratch. Especially if the population wasn’t ready to transition. I like Wolff’s co-op solution to business but that would only work if the population was all ready for it. Right now they are not ready for it. A slow transition maybe. To me, if we could get creative intellectuals and systems thinkers with genuinely good intentions in our government then it would be beautiful to allow bigger government to manage the complexities and levels of development in the population. Government funded start up programs to stimulate co-op companies and experiment with how well they thrive in reality would be helpful. We should elect conservative sociologist and progressive sociologists. So they can come up with regulations that prevent lower stage devilry against exploiting employees and environment. And to promote progressive change to the lower stages of development to help them up the spiral. Once everyone is solid Green and tier two then we could finally make the government less involved. You can learn something even from people like trump. Just because they have a few flaws doesn’t invalidate everything they have to say. Just expand on the different And multiple perspectives and solutions so you can make your own decisions.

@Carl-Richard maybe you’re right. I didn’t think of that. But having all of our minds connected is pretty cool ?

the USA can’t hold on to power forever. It’s gotta be someone else’s turn. Hopefully China will have evolved by then.

Jordan Peterson really helped me when I was feeling down. His personality class inspired me. He does a good job connecting religion and philosophy to psychology. You don’t have to agree with everything he says. But all his lectures are uploaded on his YouTube channel for free viewing. His book, “ 12 rules for life” was pretty good in my opinion.

Why do you think it’s in China’s best interest to harm us? Don’t they rely on our economy right now? we don’t have real freedom. It’s an illusion. I guess you can say we are more free in some ways. Other ways it’s rigged. The top of the hierarchy dominates the markets, The media, the politics, the education, and the credibility of critical thinkers. They can easily pay off the media to damage people’s credibility when they make an argument against their interest, otherwise they will just pull ads.

I feel like it’s hypocrisy. Americans were annoyed when China banned Facebook, google, and YouTube. If the United States is so free the. Why ban tik tak? It’s one thing to urge people to avoid it and make them aware that they risk their information to be stolen. And it’s another thing to make the choice for Americans because it’s for their own good. What if the USA is censoring Chinese propaganda? Maybe Chinese propaganda would help Americans see a different point of view man make their own decisions. Anyway if they ban tik tak because it violates people’s privacy than they should also ban all the other companies that collect our data. Furthermore it bothers me that libertarians and conservatives insist on free markets and don’t acknowledge that the top 1% use their wealth to buy out their competition and control the markets.

Spiral dynamics is useful when setting goals for your own actualization. Also useful for predicting the future. Also useful for interesting multiple perspectives. Also useful for knowing how to argue with people at various stages. By argue I mean explain things in a way that won’t trigger the opposing side and cause them to close their minds and invalidate your perspective. Instead use language that fits with their current values that resonates with them. You can help them think critically by asking them questions about the point that they cling to.

Maybe a stage turquoise game would be a connected world where everyone is god and they have the power to create and have their creations interact. Maybe like a simulation where all the players are able to contribute to the universe inside the game. And each creator can give guidance to their creations. Like playing god. Maybe we will have virtual reality tech knowledge where all we would need is our mind. Some how we can all connect our minds together.

I just finished professor Richard Wolf’s “Demacracy at Work: A cure for Capitalism “ highly recommend for skeptics of socialism. He provides a real solution, history, and is very persuasive. There is also a debate on youtube with his fellow libertarian colleague, Professor Epstein. Epstein does a good job at raising questions other libertarians would raise during his critiques of Wolf’s book. It available on audible! I listened to it during chores.

If you pay google, google will have money to pay their intellectual or creative content on YouTube. You don’t want to create the starving artist archetype. If you want passionate creators to devote their heart and soul to the quality of the content its important that they get there basic needs met. Juggling a dead end job and your hobby is hard enough.

I would always think about that question! It’s a brilliant question. How is it that I can’t get all my thoughts on paper. And at the same time I can’t understand how other people don’t have inner dialogue. What does it mean to have no inner dialogues ? Cuz I’m constantly talking to myself.
-
Or maybe I’m assuming other inner city students are like me? ? Idk anymore. I need more time to think it through. It’s funny how we fear China. It’s because China is doing exactly what the United States did. Jordan Peterson is useful in that way. He’s the reason I was able to integrate stage blue ideas. It’s amazing how spiral dynamics gave me a map to organize ideas. It’s like the skeleton and we just have to buy into it and use it to integrate society. The meat is everything you observe in society. And if your society is not diverse than observe the comment sections online.

Low test scores means cut funding to those schools. That’s just wrong. Test the kids on big picture ideas. Not to just select the best choice answer. I mean it helps but idk. I think we need to pay attention to Nancy Devos.
