  1. The One Source/God (You) looks through many eyes and constructs many POVs simultaneously. Im enjoying and create my own POV right now, as Source is looking through my eyes, while you enjoy and create yours. Source/God is looking through all of those eyes, creating all those POVS simultaneously. But you still cant access other ones, while looking through your eyes. I think the erroneous conclusion comes from the assumption that you can know absolutely everything from within your POV, by ramping up your consciousness with 5Meo. As long as you take an perspective/have an relative POV that locates in space and time your perspective will be partial. In my experience right now, of course youre just an avatar in an online forum. But im pretty sure somewhere out there is a guy with an experience of writing on this forum. Im even pretty sure we could meet up and our POVs could interrelate with each other, while still coming from the same source
  2. @bambi Yes I can understand that critique, he doesnt have the lightness and joy that you would expect from an spritually evolved person, he has some bitterness that doesnt speak good for himself. But you dont know what he wrestles with and what he went through. He still is a deep and serious thinker and if you saw some of his newer podcasts, which I posted here he shows himself open, honest and vulnerable. I also wouldnt say he is on a low level of spiritual development, he mentioned that he is doing kriya yoga everyday and he has done some deep psychedelic trips. When he speaks about god or his religious ideas he doenst do this just from an intellectual/dogmatic/belief-based standpoint but it comes from deep grappling and authentic insight. I probably sound like a total JP fanboy here, which im not. I just think like with most thinkers there is some signal and some noise and you have to discern for yourself. My point is just that the signal in his teaching goes way deeper than people seem to give him credit for.
  3. Just watch the first 5 minutes of this. This is about Truth, Life Purpose and Meaning in life, very similiar to the teachings of Actualized. This is about living your unique story and finding your passion. This is what drives real activism. Yes, he uses christian religious analogies, but this does not make it stage blue. I think he gets mostly strawmanned for his sometimes bad takes on politics and dismissed entirely.
  4. Would love to see that!
  5. I think he gets dismissed way too easily here on this forum. He has some really deep and profound takes and great articulation of his ideas. If you watch this one earnestly I think it is hard to make the argument that he is on surface level personal development, neither it is just christian fundamentalism:
  6. If I would take 800mg of Modafinil I would end up being a jittery, sweating mess with massive headache that couldnt sleep for 24 hours. That dose doesnt sound healthy nore sustainable
  7. Marc Gafni has an interesting and beautiful framing and understanding of Shadow, which he lays out in his book: Your Unique Self. The Shadow Dance one from Leos list is the more practical one to work with.

  9. The oversimplified evolutionairy psychology answer is: Women were staying in the village preparing the nest, while the guys were out there hunting.
  10. Recently I became quite interested in nutrition. I first read Dave Aspreys HeadStrong which I found very exciting to read. I implemented some of it and it made some difference for me. Now I read his next book, where he talks about "AntiNutrients" and specifically phytic acid. Before the book I thought Walnuts are a no brainer in terms of positive benefits for brain-health and bought them regularly, feeling good about it. Now Dave says they contain phytic acid which will suck the minerals out of me. I searched on the internet and couldnt really find consensus on the topic. This is a struggle since they were a stable in my diet, which I felt good about and now they are seemingly bad for me. How seriosly should I take this topic of "anti-nutrients", especially related to walnuts and is eating a hand of walnuts a day now a net positive or negative for me? Would love to hear the thoughts of some of the nutritional guys here on the forum
  11. Wow, thx for your detailed answer and reasoning! Will also think about the hierarchy of evidence concept. Finally I can enjoy my walnuts again I still pretty much enjoyed his book: HeadStrong and found some stuff in it quite useful and had the feeling that it had an positive impact on my wellbeing and cognition, mainly adding more good fats and doing IF or some other fasting irregularly + giing some more praise to some of my already implemented practices like cold-showers and meditation. Do you read it and what is your opinion on this book?
  12. Yesterday the Consilience Project (the Think Tank from Daniel Schmachtenberger) dropped the new article on the Progress Narrative. Very high quality writing with a lot of insights and the most comprehensive, nuanced critique of the progress narrative with a lot of examples and details. Definitely worth reading!: https://consilienceproject.org/development-in-progress/
  13. Eyes Wide Shut The Master Burning Lolita Mullholland Drive
  14. This is based Problem is that the stakes are so high that there is not much time left to be really stupid anymore.
  15. I really dont like this narrative. If we collectively all believe that narrative we give up choice and close the field of play/other possibilities. It is a very bad self-fullfilling prophecy.
  16. I tried Lions Mane with no noticable effects in my experience. I think there is also often a difference in quality with the different Lion Mane stacks you can find online. If you want to experiment with microdosing shrooms too Paul Staments protocol seems pretty interesting, which I want to try out in the future: https://microdosinginstitute.com/microdosing-101/substances/lions-mane-stacking/, it includes psylocibin, Lions Mane and Niacin with potential synergistic effects between them. My everyday go-to nootropic, which I used for several years now with good and noticable effects on cognition, focus and quality of perception is Qualia Focus, the most affordable one from Neurohacker Collective: https://www.qualialife.com/shop/qualia-focus This is the best quality you can find on the market in my estimation. Qualia Mind is even better but it gets a bit too pricy for my budget.
  17. Nice! that is a good addition.
  18. I think the most important is to zero in with full focus and engage the material as deeply as possible, trying to understand the essence of what is being communicated. You can almost always put a bit more effort and attention into it. Always try to relate it to the other stuff you learned and make the connections. It will make it easier to remember and it will grow your own personal understanding. Going for a walk afterwards or doing nothing and thinking about it also helps. Of course there are many other techniques, that are potentially useful like writing stuff you remember down afterwards but I never sticked to those since it is not very fun.
  19. Related to this topic I wondered about people like Daniel Schmachtenberger or Jordan Hall. How much of their intelligence and understanding is nature vs. nurture? Is a Daniel Schmachtenberger already born very gifted and well above average in cognitive capacities and probably iq or is it a product of his unique path and deep learning + optimizing his cognition. The answer is probably that it is a mix. But I find it more tricky in those cases than with an Einstein or a Tesla, which are obviously genetic-freaks and a normie probably couldnt develop into those even if he invested his full life energy into trying.
  20. Nice share! Charles Eisenstein is great and he has amazing takes and embodies exactly what the world needs more of. I read most of his books, just the Ascension of Humanity is still on my reading list, which is his biggest most ambitious work.
  21. Yes, sometimes I question my integrity there too. I would guess im quite above the median in empathy but I dont really feel the present tragedy of the world in my day to day experience that much, despite being well cognitively aware of it by watching tons of hours of Daniel Schmachtenberger.
  22. I dont think I have anywhere near enough insight into your experience or understanding of your inner-workings to really make a good judgement. But do you experienced happiness for a reasonable amount of time and really made the observation that you will loose your drive or ambition? Also I seem to be working very different, since I rather think the opposite way like I need to be reasonably happy to be effective. I am more confident when im happy, I show up more when Im happy, I have more motivation when Im happy. Overall I also hold the belief that more wholeness equals increased agency. I have no experience with what is conventional therapy, but the forms of therapy I studied and tried to apply on myself: CBT, IFS, WuWeiWisdom all seemed to increase my general happiness and my soverignty or agency in life. But I assume that compared to you I may give myself more time not hustling and just enjoying life, but still compared to most of my friends I am very "tryhard" and they sometimes tell me not to be that hard on myself. If you aim for that David Goggins or Elon Musk type of performance and ambition, yes I can imagine that this really doesnt come from wholeness, but rather from being hunted by demons or childhood-trauma.
  23. @Javfly33 Very well written and inspiring post and especially timely for me , since I just started a yoga practice 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I tried a small dose of Malt and done my yoga exercises, inspired by this thread. Amazing experience and it showed me some of the things u mentioned here. I already noticed that I feel better and more aware with my body. I started my practice based on the book: Kokoro Yoga by Mark Divine. Do you have ressources u would recommand to learn the fundamentals?
