I'm gonna keep getting roasted on this post for the rest of eternity

I go around life looking at people's work, and if its something I'm actually interested in for example Cartoons, Laptops or music. I always have this high standard for it, and because of that most don't meet my expectations, most are underwhelming. I have this high level of excellence for work I'm passionate about. I just look at 80-90% of cartoons and think to myself: wow that fucking sucks, how could you invest so many years into this and still be this bad at it? now... here and there I find a gem, a cartoon that is top-notch amazing, or a song that is absolutely mindbogglingly good. I think this is the case with everyone's work, majority = bad, tiny minority = good. I see huge series with more than 1000 episodes but not a single good one, but then I see small team projects that blew me away. and also... the biggest companies in the industry always make the worst products. The most followed make the worst content, visa versa. I don't know why this is but its without a doubt the case. usually its that guy that comes out of nowhere that transforms the entire industry. This might be because our definitions of a perfect <product> are getting tighter and tighter everyday the better we see and the better we make, or it could be simply because everyone sucks. Anyone feel the same way?

she's wasting her time on this forum, threads like these confirm my suspicion that people overthink dumb questions like this, every culture has its cons, some don't mind them and some do, it's exposing yourself to other cultures that make you aware of pros and cons of your own, that's why multicultural peope who enjoy traveling a lot find their home country the least interesting. If you don't like your country then just move, but over time you're probably going to start complaining about it as well. Contrary to your "immigration is bad" belief Thinking about your profile picture & browsing pinterest for a new one everyday is not healthy, this forum is doing you more harm then good. If you pay to much attention to approval and aesthetics (externalities) it prevents you from being creative, conceptual & philosophical. And despite being external you still lack its only strength which is practicality. carl yung "who looks outside dreams who looks inside awakes" (I'm sure that quote has other applications as well) That's my perspective, and I might get banned for it depending on how people take it in, stage green sensitivity tends to get on my nerves very naturally, so sorry for the burst. -

Will be easier in Canada or Australia than Europe, if you want to find a girlfriend that is Much more relaxed than Europe. Europe is the most developed continent on earth, but don't let that fool you. My own experience is that English speaking countries are a lot more relaxed and social than everyone else, especially compared to Germany. I lived near Frankfurt for a couple of months, Germans don't go out for the sake of socializing as much as Australians, Americans, Canadians and the Brits... This is just my experience and my perception, so I might be wrong. Even when somebody says "I'm 100% sure" they can still be 100% wrong because 1. perception 2. unconscious generalizations 3. our first experience Its no shocker tho, the more workaholic a country is the less social it is. I'm 100% sure

Chinese culture is the most interesting thing to me, and who's more qualified than its leader Xi. he's leading arguably the most powerful country on earth I don't care whether he's evil or not, leadership is hard

We would talk about technology, privacy, government policies and philosophy Alive/Alive - Edward Snowden, Simon sinek and probably tim cook. I would also like to meet some audio engineers, music bands like fall out boy, Xi Jinping president of China. I'm all over the place

@rnd so it's not only me?? Wow... I also feel like wilting on paper is magnitudes more satisfying than writing on a keyboard, I've given it some thought before and came to a conclusion that I just appreciate the process of writing rather then just looking at instant words on my screen. I Also tried Obsidian, notion and onenote but I always end up switching to paper again. There is a art field called calligraphy. It explores design and execution of writing. So some peope see much more in words than others.

Looking back at this, I'd say I was frustrated with art and I still am to some degree, I was trying to be more utilitarian than I naturally am because I was looking for stronger arguments against it. I guess the popularity of this thread debunks my statement "People don't care about art". I just want to feel the significance of art a lot more, I have a left-right brain conflict about it. still I can't help but feel, that making physical products is more suited for me.

Walking into a bar doing pick up as a woman how important is your looks? How fast does a man become attracted to you when you're a master at looks? I care about every aspect of a great story, not just one. which means I also care about the animation. and even If I was a woman that cared more about a man's personality than his looks. this would still be the case. I would say your example is unfit in this scenario

Why? I'm aware of the price differences, but I don't believe its because its internal component management, its because apple is a luxury brand. I'm not bias towards Apple, I mostly dislike them actually. Agree, its structure Is cliche based on classic shounen. But I'm not talking about demon slayer as a story nor am I praising its writer Koyoharu, I'm complimenting Ufotable, The animation studio that is responsible for the animation, music, voices behind Demon slayer. It's groundbreaking. In my opinion Boruto as well and Naruto have 0 emotional value. Its subjective and I respect your opinion on it Agree on everything, man... Vinland... forgot about that one, its marvellous. also ever heard about Made In Abyss, its also worth mentioning.

YES!!! colors! extremely important I'm glad we share some interests ghost girl guy I think it all comes down to the good old rule "Quality > Quantity", never forsake the wisdom of those good old quotes. we put such quotes in our facebook bio's but never actually implement and appreciate them. Most companies remind me of how we factory farm animals, its all optimized for mass, not quality of the meat. these companies are so common I started naming them factory farmers

Great example of high excellence even when nobody really sees it (Inside Macbook Pro vs Inside Asus Zephyrus M16)

Scenes from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Compare Naruto to this one)
-
Great recent examples in the game industry: Elden ring (by FromSoftware, never heard of them?) vs Cyberpunk 2077 (cd projekt red) Cartoons (I'm only going to show the scenes and art work, not claiming anything about the story) Scenes from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

What about iPhone vs fave rapper, that seems like a fair-er comparison. I don't even have a toaster... but a lot of people seem to be pretty obsessive about their iPhones and Teslas

Its because I'm really fucking conflicted about my life purpose
-
My thread "Artists aren't as impactful as engineers, People don't care about Art", is just clickbait honestly, It was my unconscious intention to get your options about a life purpose I've been conflicted on pursuing, Stage Red cartoons. Leo said "Reducing life to pure utility -- that's your mistake" I'm obsessed with Romance, Violence & bitter sweet cartoons. I've never liked movies, but for some reason I always loved Cartoons. It started 14 years ago, I remember loving and watching Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network all day long: Adventure time, fairly odd parents, Avatar the last airbender, Korra, Rick & Morty etc... I started watching at the age of 5 and stopped watching 7 years later because people convinced me it was wrong watching Cartoons at 12, I was "too old for them" and "It effected me negatively" That's what my family said at least, so I quit watching because I was so young and naive listening to what other people said, at 17 I started watching again. but It was different this time, I wasn't watching cartoons for children like before. I started watching romantic, violent, lots of heavy emotions, death, pain & of course bitter sweet endings cartoons. its extremely specific so I understand If you don't get it. Maybe You've seen some of these cartoons yourself here is a couple of them: 1. Attack On Titan 2. 86 (Eighty-Six) 3. Chainsaw man (Manga) 4. Berserk 5. Demon Slayer 6. Monster Ultimately the problem is, I love this shit. and I want to make cartoons like that myself. But I don't really know if its Important to the world, I must contribute to life somehow. And I don't know how to do that effectively with this stage red medium.

It's such masterful storytelling, characters face truly difficult situations, TRUE HARDSHIP. Last episode is a really good example of that (season 4 part 2 episode 10) Connie and Armin literally have to kill their friends to save the world. Most anime and novels are straight up trash, those writers don't truly challenge the heroes. There has to be a serious potential of death in storytelling, otherwise you lose interest in it because you already know everybody survives, which just isn't realistic. Peope die in war, it's unrealistic for everybody to survive. And the way characters die is also important, I am so fucking tired of those slow deaths, where characters get to say a couple of words before they die. That's not realistic either, peope in war die in brutal ways, not by slowly bleeding out to death. Chainsaw man is even better than attack on titan, and it's about to get it's own animation. It's about devils vs humans vs half devil half humans, the main character dies in the first episode. He gets saved by his pet devil. The story has 3 main characters (protagonists) 2 die at the end, it has 2 antagonists: both of them get brutally murdered by a chainsaw. That's realism. That's masterful storytelling.

Bro you can't say something so outrageous and not elaborate on it, have you seen how brutal it can be? I have a feeling your not being serious

Given that the the modern world is mostly stage blue, I don't think stage red stories would be useful to society. That's being sort of optimistic. 1. That's a Great tip, will do. 2. Creativity? Courage and adventurousness? Those are red?? I don't know about that one.
-
Hxh is way broader than anything I listed above so it's hard to say, it's a little less consistent. I'd say mostly green with red and blue characters. See, Gon's ultimate goal isn't so great in the first place, his whole mission was to meet his asshole dad. Funny enough, I had the same thoughts on Hunter x hunter, I ended up quitting it midway through, I came back later and actually enjoyed it that time. Code glass haven't watched, will give it a watch tho, I have really high standards for cartoons so I don't think I'll like it ? Death note is red, that's all. I liked that one as well. Main character is pretty abusive of his powers. Although really smart.
