Personally It hasn't helped me and I didn't like the after effects it left. I was personally using Stoicism as an escape, missing out on human connection because I was pretending to be a strong stoic guy, complete bullshit. Don't become someone cold and lifeless. I strongly advise against it, there are better fields of study. Integrity for example, strong Integrity will teach you more about Masculinity and discipline than Stoicism ever could. it requires time and introspection though. Stoicism will make you less sensitive, less emotional. which is... not a good thing...

Didn't read the full thread but its clear that Leo is just a supplement to everything you're supposed to be doing on your own and you can't complain about a Vitamin D supplement when you're whole diet is shit, give Leo your criticism though, its helpful to some extent. -
Any boost in Motivation or perhaps work ethic since you quit, at this point of my life I only care about drive and motivation. anything would help. I do It 2 times a day

Isn't a small percent of Chain extremely undeveloped btw? maybe that's the part Leo/Joe was talking about, I'm very interested in your country, Asia in general... -
I often contemplate the same thing... ???

@ZGROPIUS Sorry If I offended you -
"Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. you are already naked. there is no reason not to follow your heart" this quote of course, Is about courage. maybe I'm taking this quote too literally but there really is nothing to lose in this life, other then life itself which is debatable. should I be courageous? "you are already naked" means you're not carrying anything of true value, so why not live on your edge? should I just quit my job and go to India for a couple of months for example? why not? should I even have a job? this quote is completely irrational which scares me to be honest. I don't even have to ask my friends and family, they will take this quote is a negative way. is there a point in living safely? what are your thoughts on this quote my rational friends?

China? they're shitting in the streets and 20% of their population apparently doesn't even speak Mandarin, the official language of china... -
100k-250 a year max and that's already stretching it. diminishing returns start at 70-100k I'd say... If you're a immigrant or want to be one you better have more than 100k salary. (Yearly)

Just a quick thought, nothing super high quality. A video on developing work ethic, I genuinely feel like this would be one of Leo's most beneficial videos if he decided to make it. Especially now that we have a generation of tiktokers and kids with even lower attention spans than previous generations. They're slowing coming though the pipes. once they reach 18, they're fucked. Theres already a video on workaholism, now do it backwards.

My astrology sign is Leo, that means I'm god...

I can just imagine Its 2050, Elon musk is 80 years old and he owns Apple, Mcdonald's, Twitter, Facebook, Amazon, Tesla, SpaceX and probably the US government as well. investing our taxes into electric cars and rockets. who knew that this would be the true face of capitalism. if capitalism was a person It would look exactly like this guy

lol I had the same reaction, in my entire life I haven't met a single person who actually uses Twitter once a month. guess it's just the Americans. Most Europeans don't concern themselves with free speech it's just not a thing. Positive or negative its true.

these are just my shower thoughts It might be that I myself can't see the value of writing a novel, producing a film/cartoon & music, but I always enjoyed it. but the impact Art makes on the world seems to be masturatory, take one of the biggest Artists in human history: Picasso, What the hell are paintings supposed to do? they just sit there, people look at them, get a little inspiration or show appreciation, but that's about it. The biggest artist made no difference. but Bill Gates created Windows and allowed computers and the internet to flourish, which made a big difference! Computers made life so much easier, simper, more efficient and much much more. The impact artists make always seemed insignificant when compared to more technical math type of people.

I like war & grim stuff so I had the opposite reaction

I usually don't share stuff on the internet but this one Is too good not to share. To sum it all up bill gates proposes that we invent a team of people funded by WHO/Government that specialize in preventing pandemic outbreaks like COVID-19. We have fire "outbreaks" all the time so we came up with a team that stops them from spreading (firefighters) , so we should do the same for pandemics. (He gives a good Augustus example). He also suggests that we invest in Disease Monitoring, R&D & health systems, I would personally like to spice up that idea with pandemic education because people's dumb beliefs about pandemics/viruses damage us most (Anti-vaxxers), and it doesn't need to be its own separate subject... just teach the history of pandemics In history class and the nature of pandemics/viruses in biology class, problem solved! The team would be called GERM, firefighters for pandemics! Giving bill gates a bj Bill's genius really shines though here, super smart guy. He was done with the pettiness of life very early on, he become independent so that he can think about ideas like these. While most peope including me right now are too busy with survival, money & personal desires. So... bless up bill. Smart people advising we should have pandemic firefighters really shows how common pandemics will be getting in the future, after all.. we have crime (which is common) and a team for that (police) we have wild fires (which are common-er) and a team for that (firefighters), and hopefully a new team for a brighter future. https://www.ted.com/talks/bill_gates_we_can_make_covid_19_the_last_pandemic

I got warned for saying exactly this to the exactly same person and got the same reaction, its pointless brother. It doesn't matter just let it go, people sit writing pointless shit on forums thinking they're growing by doing it all the time. Real living & growth is found out there in the wild, not in your computer.

+1 I think its a combination of a lot of shit, Mangakas are probably deprived of their creativity due to their *not so good* lives No real visionaries in the industry, and I doubt its gonna be a Japanese person when that happens Studios picking multiple Mangas to produce each year instead of picking only 1 or 2/3, its a quantity > quality issue and Studios need to write their own anime to make more money. most $$$ goes to the writer, not the studio... and the studio needs it more if a writer has more money, he doesn't write better stories. if a studio has more money, a studio does make better productions. that being said there are some good ones I've watched fairly recently 1. Link click (Its Chinese) 2. To Your Eternity 3. Eighty-Six (86) 4. Arcane (might not be anime) and hopefully you'll like Chainsaw man when it comes out. I strongly agree with Sturgeon's law which basically says "Most 90-95% of work is shit, 10-5% is good", this is the case with everything even outside of cartoons, most people are just too retarded to see it. I tried making a thread about it recently, but asking people on the internet for opinions is pointless. it never amounts to anything

I used to be pretty interested in health. my interest in it is seasonal, comes and goes. Ultimately I've always been pretty healthy, a few times I think I even reached the absolute pinnacle of health, I felt like a nuclear bomb full of energy. Throw in intermittent fasting, 3+ hours of sunlight daily and fresh air and there you go. Couldn't possibly feel better. I've ways been skinny, eating once or twice or thrice (xd) a day maximum, I've never craved food and fasting comes naturally to me. But again... really skinny, people have made fun of my "skinnyness" a lot but It never bothered me that much, however I believe it's time to change. Preferably I'd like to gain about 15 more kg, then I would be 70kg at 173cm. And that would be sufficient. After reading some material about toxins, I came to an understanding. Every food seems to contain toxins no matter how healthy it is, which ultimately means that eating more food isn't the healthiest thing to do? I'm afraid this might worsen my good health. I wouldn't like spending 100s of $ on food either at this point of my life, so please list some healthy but calorie dense or carb dense foods ? rice is pretty cheap but I've heard it contains arsenic. Currently: 18y old 55kg 173, parents overall good health. Note: by "toxins" I mean heavy metals

Sorry for late replies, just started thinking about this again. Now... I'm not in the best position to buy healthy food, maybe some but I definitely can't go 100% or anywhere near 100% healthy food. Would you still recommend increasing my calories? even if I wouldn't necessarily eat the healthiest food? things like normal eggs, quinoa, some mass gainers or protein powders, rice because its high in calories. Do you know of any European food delivery services? (services like misfitsmarket, Butcherbox, Hellofresh which are all american) I live in a small town, that makes getting food especially healthy food a lot more difficult. @UDT @Michael569
