Optimism is a quality of the wise (and specially the successful :>)

This is GENIUS! instead of making it completely random like Midjourney or dall-e, you can scribble to make It look the way you want it to look. this idea is much more practical/advanced. My result (A photo of a baby cow)

My guess is that Art doesn't have a concrete impact, rather It's "impact" is always open to interpretation. Which kinda frustrates me. Instead of Impact, I think the real purpose of Art is Excellence, rather than what mark it leaves on others. Why did Michelangelo bother with all this detail? What "Impact statement" did he have for it? My guess is, almost none. In my old thread ''Artists aren't as impactful as engineers, People don't care about Art", I tried to exaggerate my statement to get more answers, and a lot of you said "Art is supposed to lead you towards god", and here I want you to elaborate on that, how does it point you towards god? What does that mean? How does this Impact you? How do you know if the impact is real? Is it short lived? or does it last? Description: This is a detail of the right forearm of Michelangelo's Moses (c. 1513–1515). The blue circle highlights a small muscle called extensor digiti minimi, which only contracts when the little finger is lifted

You can do it in half a year if you are extremely dedicated, effective and lucky. And If your definition of escaping wage slavery is making a sustainable amount to live, not considering stability or consistency.

I used to get bullied by a girl back in middle school (Don't judge me), but later on she admitted that she had a thing for me and still has. Fuck me I can't make sense of it either, I guess she's one of those people who verbally and physically insults her crush. It's not my first time to hear about such a concept. Just a story, probably useless to you. Just go outside more with your friends, go to highly social areas and laugh at dumb jokes. Attraction works everywhere, even at Starbucks.

I had this very brief conversation with my German Grandma while I was thinking about which Laptop to buy. A Macbook or a Gaming Windows laptop. I ended up going with the Windows laptop just in case I want to get Into Game Development in the future. And because I was thinking out loud she heard this, and she literally said that game developers are like drug dealers, and that they ruin lives and create more addiction in the world. Opinions?

Best Andrew Tate meme I've seen so far

The next evolution of NoFap, we are witnessing history here.

The fact that you would ever choose clearly false conclusions because you feel uncomfortable or too lazy to think for yourself, crazy. Most of this is extremely conspicuous stuff, it doesn't go over subtle conformity. Which, by it's nature... should happen way often.

Why do you think you have these issues at such a young age?

@Girzo @zurew The way Microsoft envisioned it is too damn clunky and overwhelming instead of being minimal right out of the box. Firefox and TOR are technically the best browsers for privacy & security, Safari is the fastest on mac, but let's not stress on the details as it's a waste of time. I was just expressing my clear observation with Microsoft's incompetent approach to user experience, compared to everyone else.

I can agree that Microsoft often seems less competent than Google, Apple & Facebook. Open Edge right now and you will see a boatload of useless information and celebrity news, truly bottom of the barrel Facebook mom stuff. They've been ignoring superior architectures like ARM and RISC-V for decades now when it comes to optimizing their one and only operating system for it. They really have no taste, as Steve Jobs famously said. But in spite of all that they seem to be betting on the right market right now and I hope they succeed in it. Afterall timing is said to be the most important factor in regards to company success and growth. On the other hand, Google just announced 'BARD'. It's about simplifying complex subjects. ''AI can be helpful in these moments, synthesizing insights for questions where there’s no one right answer. Soon, you’ll see AI-powered features in Search that distill complex information and multiple perspectives into easy-to-digest formats, so you can quickly understand the big picture and learn more from the web'' What I feel Iffy about, Is about the quantity vs quality about these projects, I really want someone to just pick a few fields where they think A.I will be most useful & where they can make big things happen. We don't need so many 'kinda useful' A.I tools, but something that is actually good and reliable. To me A.I looks like our first step towards stage yellow. (optimistically)

No pain, no gain!! Where's your ambition?

Good or bad, Tate is idealized way too much, on this forum especially. He makes a lot of money and he has girls, crazy! never seen a guy that masculine and epic!

You managed to make it sound like an insult ?

Can you play doom on me? No. So I’m not

I’m 19 years old (yes). Upside down cross is for the same reason as above post… too much Marilyn Manson.

That’s a really good mindset. And I’ve seen it before in other successful people. The “I’ll do it, whatever it takes” mindset (with ethical constraints). a great example is Steve Jobs and his first ever job at Atari, he entered the building and said he wouldn’t leave until they gave him a job, and they did. They put up with his shit as well. When I was 17 (before my current job fell into my lap) I was planning on going to a foreign country and going door to door asking people for a job, and doing it until I find it. A great man figures out how he can be effective, as effective as ethically possible. He knows the low price of shame and therefore he’s able to put it aside. Pride is just some dumb concept we invented. another good example is Patrick Jane from “The Mentalist” where he occasionally (when low on time) says he will have the killer in less than a day. (A show about catching criminals). However, collage degrees are more valuable where they are scarce, in 2nd & 3rd world countries. So I’m not completely against collage.

A robot is not automatically an AI, are there actually instances where people lost their job to AI (as of now)? I sure don't recall any...
