  1. This week I have spend most time wrecking my head around The Big Leap Process in order to find my Zone of Genius. I already did the exercise a couple of times before, and spend quite some time on it, but the answers I came up with didnt fully resonate with me. I decided to ask some friends to give their insights on this topic, hoping that a different perspective will help me further. I also send @Rowan a message, he created a topic a year ago when he was also struggling with finding his Zone of Genius. He gave me a very long and detailed reply with some helpful tips, so very grateful for that. I'm still excited about creating a website about mindfulness. I'm using Wix for it and took a subscription, but after using it for a couple of weeks I stumbled up some seemingly inevitable limitations. So Im exploring some other options, currently trying out Webflow, the learning curve is a bit steeper, but it seems to have much more possibilities. It's a bit of a waste of the Wix subscription, but I consider that sunken costs.
  2. Good luck :). Your exposure to cold water, is that inspired by Wim Hof?
  3. Bit of a slow week. didnt feel good for a couple of days so took it slow. The end of the life purpose course is getting closer, and I feel some procrastination behaviour crawling up. I think this is mainly because of fear. Fear of the next chapter, having to take action, discovering new possibilities. This week I will spend some more time on reading books to help me get motivated. Currently Im reading The Big Leap. Im also spending a couple of hours a day on making the website. When Im working on it time seems to go pretty fast. It feels like there is a certain magnetic pull on working on the website, and I even have to slow down myself a little (or maybe not?)
  4. lovely paintings And great how openly you can talk about all your struggles, I guess it helps a lot to contemplate about it like you do and share it with others. Especially this sentence touched me;
  5. WIth the Covid-19 going on, the usual pressure/desire I feel to be socially active is very low, and makes me feel at peace in a strange way. This makes me ask the question if a big part of my desire to be socially active is perhaps a way to satisfy what society considers normal or desirable, rather than it being my own true desire. Other than that I feel sleepy, motivated but a little unproductive, calm, not as organised and disciplined as I'd like to be, in love but a little attached and anxious of the future.
  6. @NahmThanks, will have a look! @martin_malin Oke thanks! So if I visualise something different everyday (with the same big picture in mind), and connecting with the senses, thats oke? So day 1 I visualise a beautiful office, day 2 I visualise giving a greet speech, etc.
  7. Im building a daily habit to drill my subconscious mind with my life purpose. Its clear to me that its important to visualise it very vivid, in the present moment, as if it is already happening, with as much details as possible. What is not clear to me is how many things I should visualise. Lets say for example I want to visualise that I have a business that integrates mindfulness in business and education. There are many possibilities to visualise about, such as; the specific mindfulness program having a beautiful office Seeing very peaceful classrooms/offices/businessman/kids/students Giving talks/speeches about the mindfulness program Being happy, fulfilled, positive feelings Etc So what I wonder is; Is the idea to visualise on one specific topic for the whole period (for example having a beautiful office)? Or is the idea to pick different topics on different days, aslong as it is about the same main topic? I hope the question is clear, thanks for any clarification
  8. My chosen domain of mastery is mindfulness, and more specific, merging mindfulness with daily life. A little gameplan for now: Get a much better understanding of mindfulness Develop the skill to articulate mindfulness in a confident way To do so, I came up with the idea to start a website about mindfulness, explaining what it is and exploring many ways to bring more mindfulness in your daily life, such as meditation and yoga, but also breathwork, psychedelics, retreats, floating, workshops etc. Creating this website will push me to study many scientific researches about mindfulness and get more knowledgeable on the topic. At the same time it helps me to develop the skill to write about mindfulness, which is much harder than I thought.
  9. The documentary Samsara by Ron Fricke [IMDB rating 8.5] Filmed over nearly five years in twenty-five countries on five continents, and shot on seventy-millimetre film, Samsara transports us to the varied worlds of sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial complexes, and natural wonders.
  10. Just finished my Vision Board!

  12. This week I've spend quite some hours on the Life Purpose Course. It starts to become clearer and clearer to me what I want to pursue in life. I will spend most of my time this year on the top 5 goals I've set; Learning how to start a business Mindful lifestyle Enlightenment Clear business idea Improving social skills All these goals were already wandering around in my head, but by acutally writing it out on paper I feel much more motivated. I'm not 100% sure what I'm allowed to share in this topic about the Life Purpose Course. Can I post conclusions about my own life purpose? Can I post my own "ME Sheet"? I'd appreciate if anyone knows.
  13. Hey Strangeloop, Have you heard of HOCD? I suggest having a look at this. I've struggled many years with my sexuality. Firstly by not wanting to accept that I'm gay and hoping it will go away some day, and secondly by hiding it for others for many years. Eventually deciding to come out is the best decision I've made in my life. I recognise a lot of thoughts you are having, they can be really confusing and disturbing. If I could suggest my younger self something, it would be; just simply observe every thought, every emotion, every desire you are having, dont try to label it, dont try to make sense out it. Just completely allow everything in and simply observe it. And dont look for an identity in your sexuality, its just a little part of your being. If you have any questions just let me know
  14. Your life purpose sounds really interesting and actual! Do you already have a more specific idea on how to teach people? Can you share your plans for the future? I have a big gaming history(Dota & WoW), so really like to hear how you will combine your passion with your life purpose. I have more questions to come
