Well it's good that you still feel your sense of purpose even if you don't know what it is yet. You can continue to search for it. Maybe you needed a break from society and you are starting to awaken from this depression something. Some people reconnect with emotions through music and some art. Go check out some museum or just go walk through the park every day. But you may just be content with where you are and sticking to yourself if that is how you want to be and some people are like that. But something tells me just by you getting on here and writing you might just hold the key to your cage.

It depends on each of the individual friends. And what levels of friendship. It sounds like this is pretty toxic to you so you should be ok with just telling them to fuck off. If you want to leave an explanation, that is entirely up to you. But life is too short to be around people who do not value you. Or you can just not talk to them again.

It is a hard decision to make either way but sometimes ripping the band aid off is best and will lead him to become enlightened on a life purpose other than video games etc. And it will certainly allow you to go out and make your own new life with your new freedom. You have your life to live so go live it.

There is nothing wrong with being on a journey to find your LP and being in a relationship. I think it is good to be honest about the situation and let them know that you are on a quest for your personal development. Things may work out and they may not. Being honest about it eliminates the distraction part of it.

Just throw a suggestion out there and don't seem so focused on a relationship. Have fun with it. You both are still young enough to have a great time.

I play guitar and I know what you mean. It can be hard. But starting to learn from scratch is never easy. Try to find tablature for songs you like or that inspire you. Learn them. Then find some people to jam with, and learn from them. Even if you are not fast on your scales, just slowly grind through them and learn them that way you can just know what is going to sound good up and down they neck. There are always new things to learn with guitar, if one style of playing is getting old to you then switch to a different style and try that out for a while.

This is a good topic since I am working through my LP in music. I would highlight what I like about my music and ask someone who you trust to give you their honest musical opinion to point out what areas of your music sticks to them the most. Get some other perspectives other than your own about your own work.

Well, I wouldn't go as far as quitting tv entirely. I mean there are some good programs out there. Just don't get addicted to tv. If you have a ton of other tasks to complete, then maybe you should cut some tv time out. But everyone is different. There are some shows that I really like. Then there are people who try to emulate characters on TV in their life. That's kind of ridiculous. But, just remember you are on your own LP journey and if tv is a distraction from your LP then cut it out.

Try not to care what others think of you... And really work on that. And then, work on how you are carrying yourself. Relax man.

Enjoy the not knowing exactly what your LP is. Make finding out your current LP.

There are so many levels of flirting. The first thing you have to ask is: is it really flirting and how do I feel about it? You have to talk to him about it and let him know what's up. Maybe try flirting with some guys yourself and see how he responds. That could open up some conversation about it since you feel insecure about bringing it up. Do what makes you happy with yourself though first. That is the first thing you need to handle.

In a way music is engineering but of a different sort. You don't have to quit your day job in order to do your life purpose. Go with the fire you feel within that will bring the best energy to the world.

I have. (musician) I am working through the steps in the LP course. It is by far the best self help course I have come across thus far. I feel great every day, as I have a renewed sense of purpose. That is what it boils down to.
