  1. It's not a somewhere you stop either.
  2. ok, apologies if I mis-quoted you. My view is that they are facets of a whole but one is static the other not static.
  3. Your write up is interesting....you have picked up on the point that awareness and consciousness are separate. If you have been reading my posts then you will know my views on consciousness states.I try to keep things simple. My view is that consciousness states are static. My view is that we can come out of the split consciousness state I.e. the trapped in the divided head state combined with our divided SUBCONSCIOUS thoughts. We can come out of this subconscious state into the combined consciousness state that sits in the middle but in some way outside of the split consciousness state. The individual is still trapped in this united consciousness (in the moment) state with CONSCIOUS thoughts however. The individual slides between the divided & united consciousness states all the time, whether this be subconsciously or consciously. The individual now needs to be separated from their thoughts from within the combined consciousness state. This is a top level view.Voices/visions etc which are associated with both consciousness states is just DATA.There is a third consciousness state.Their appears to be a +/- neutral state that sits either side of the middle neutral state.Hope I haven’t lost you completely,I do with most people.
  4. @Serotoninluv I’m not interested only because I’ve been where you are pointing to already.
  5. I know you are not going to agree with the second and third points below but here goes.... I agree with you on the first point.I look at both views east and west ...no problem with that. In my view ...to say all thoughts aren’t true is simply not true...just my view......so we are back to considering neutral again. My view is that you have to block/stop what I describe as the east/west etc thoughts and tune into what left. You have to block the robot thoughts which consist of voices/visions and refuse to engage with them...the aim is to tune into the in synch pure thoughts that are difficult to recognise because we are too busy listening to the computer thoughts (voices/visions) Self/neutral/the i am......is the recognition that you are more than a biological robot with a split computer brain that has a voice and feeds you information in the form of voices/visions if you engage with them..My view is that you can spend your whole life engaging with them or you can shut them up and not engage with them. You can then stay still and tune into the neutral voice more. Just my opinion so please don’t take offence.
  6. My focus is on getting back in synch with myself and stilling the mind and so yes the above principle is a viable concept...but only to still (neutralize) the mind (the two computers) of their belief systems i.e. the is there..... isn't there......but thanks anyway.I know you don't take this view.We can look as deep as we want into things but ultimately my view is that we need to get back fully in synch with our physical bodies and then focus on stilling the mind. I see things very practically. If we think too deep we get trapped in our heads and lose focus on the ultimate aim of building oneself up i.e. my view is that we should not be dismantling ourselves, which does happen if we disappear and remain in our heads constantly searching.
  7. Can we just agree to disagree...quite frankly it comes down to ones own personal experiences. You believe what you want to believe and I will believe what I want to believe.
  8. All things come down to a belief system if reasoning is done away with surely.
  9. @Nahm The glassy sea is completely full of light and darkness in equal measure. That's why you can only define it as glassy
  10. @NahmNot sure what you mean are you redefining science ?
  11. @Serotoninluv There appears to be two dual states in the split (out of synch) consciousness state. The split consciousness creates one each.
  12. @Nadosa You are stuck in your head.Brng yourself back in synch by literallly wearing your body.Put your body on.You need an anchor point.
  13. @Prevailer You want to be totally wearing your body with a still mind. Not totally outside of your body stuck in your head with a moving mind.
  14. @Serotoninluv Thoughts are the problem in a mind that moves. Why go somewhere in your mind to think.Stay where you are.Dont engage.Put autopilot on the right and manual on the left as these form part of a mind that moves. If you do this the the physical mind will just mirror image it anyway so you won’t know which is which. Then put a neutral on the right and a neutral on the left and then reject them both. The I am is....the is...the was ....and the always will be.
  15. @Prevailer @Prevaileryou need to separate the thinking mind from the i am.You work back from the i am back into the thinking mind which you appear to be struggling with and then and back in touch with the body.
  16. @Serotoninluv My thinking mind can stand it and is perfectly in peace with it.You must be on the wrong path.
  17. The neutral mind is a still state state of mind and doesn’t engage in thought, whether this be by either visualisation or voice or a combination of both. The neutral mind does not move...it stays where it is.
  18. @Serotoninluv You need to find out for yourself
  19. @Prevailer @Prevailer It’s an experience,period.
  20. @Serotoninluv Not for me it isnt
  21. @Serotoninluv Neutral for me is more to do with awareness/consciousness states rather than thoughts/reasonings.We can choose between + or - or we can choose to not choose at all but reject both.
  22. @SamueLSD I’ve developed my own terminologies. It probably is a different language to some people. For me anyway the neutral consciousness state is the still consciousness state. This is the consciousness state that my full attention is now focussed on.Deep inward meditation I.e. just one way is not the answer for me.The secret is is to go in and then come out and apply what you have learnt from your inward meditations to your outward meditations.A fuller understanding of consciousness states then becomes more apparent. It is not a walk for the faint hearted though.
  23. @Lento I totally understand why you come to the conclusions you have come to.At the end of the day I go in and I come out when it comes to meditation. If we think of an atom there is a positive;negative and a neutral. We can’t deny that there is a neutral.I apply what I have learnt from my inward meditations to the building up of myself rather than the dismantling of myself.I dismantled myself for years.I apply +;-;neutral to my consciousness states My negative state is when I am in the autopilot state. My positive state is when I am in the present moment state.I drift between the two constantly but have learnt to stay in the present moment more than not.The Still state I have not yet got to the bottom of.Thoughts and reasonings are null and void in the above process.
  24. @Lento I don’t know....or maybe I do know? IF there is a neutral consciousness state. It does your head in thinking about it.It would appear that you can’t have a reasoning without having an equal and opposite counter reasoning.
