I have not been able to achieve it.....yet....I’ve started to recognise the importance of being in the moment and recognising the need to manage the tension in my body.I have realised that the calmer one is the easier it is to maintain a still mind.

Well that is reasoning yes .....but I have a different reasoning to you.i believe that I am separate from God..You believe the opposite I assume.It’s ok to disagree.

Like the video.Someone practising outward meditation (uniting himself) and trying to build himself up rather than dismantling himself with inward meditation

You are talking about a neutral consciousness state/s then.There is a positive; negative neutral state in the split consciousness states.Neither involves thought and therefore reasoning.....however the consciousness states are different.One consciousness state is divided the other is not divided. In order to distinguish which is which the individual needs to become AWARE of the difference.The individual needs to take action to bring oneself into the united state but needs take no conscious action to go back...it just happens automatically.Its at this level of awareness that you become FULLY aware of the spilt/united consciousness states.The middle consciousness state is the STILL consciousness state that one needs to find and stay before the individual resumes thought in the STILL mind.If you have a moving mind (I.e. the need to go somewhere in your mind and engage inorder to think) then you haven’t arrived anywhere special.

Sorry but I disagree with Osho totally.You are either conscious or subconscious that you are taking the stance that you don’t actually want to believe in anything.This is still a belief stance.

All I'm saying is yeah keep doing what you are doing....keep believing what you believe....but at least consider other possibilities if you come un stuck...that's all. Sometimes you have to wipe the slate clean of your deep held belief systems and start all over again. This is freedom as well.

Not sure what's so funny about a simple question? What is a strangle loop? Duality thinking needs to consider both sides to an argument surely?

The problem with duality thinking is that it always always comes from a starting point (belief system) of there is no God separate from Myself. The individual then tries to figure it all out from this starting point in the split consciousness state. What about duality thinking coming from a starting point (belief system) of there is a God separate from Myself? Why is it so hard for an individual to consider this possibility as well? You can still have your duality mindset. This is what utterly intrigues me about man and his Ego.

Yeah but one step at a time my friend and don't take sides whilst you are discovering things about yourself. Stay in the middle ground always.The problem with duality thinking is that there is no middle ground.

Yes it is what I believe but not from a left or right stand point.It’s from a mid point stand point ....there is a difference.

I repeat...is that what you believe? from a duality mindset? Which part of your mind are you placing yourself in when you come to this conclusion...the left or the right?

Try as hard as you can and then try a little bit more and I assure you that you will never be able to shake off a belief system.It is impossible.You either believe or you don’t believe.However, they are BOTH belief systems that your dual mind thinking has reasoned.

God is God...the devil is the devil...The devil can do nothing unless God permits it...Nothing.You are separate from both..Your Ego is your opinion of yourself in relation to God.You soul spirit by nature is totally embroiled with your physical body....Totally unable to untangle itself from the physical body...Only God (which is not you) can untangle it for us.This poses a big problem for those that don’t humble themselves ...for those that don’t believe that there is a separate God to themselves.If you walk in the flesh then by the very implication your consciousness state will be split...you will think in this split consciousness state....hence why unbelieving man comes up with the concept of duality.He lives his life in this split subconscious mental state and doesn’t move on from it other than going into a more and more lost state in his meditations.God let’s him go his own way .....lost forever.Man needs to see that he is spirit and not flesh.When God enables him to see this he is then able to detach (untangle) himself from the physical.When he thinks deeply he still does experience a form of duality but he notices it from a detached (balanced/mid point) view point.He tends to see this in the form of right and left mental picture.What he doesn’t see initially is that there is also an “into the page/out of the page” as well.This is another form of in synch duality.The secret is to come out of all these mind concepts that we get trapped in and not rely on any thoughts to define who we are.Once we know about the neutral mind state we can then learn to think/function in it.God will not let anyone into his presence unless they believe in him and go via the pathway he has ordained...period.He is in control of everything...not You.You just THINK you are in control.

@Prevailer @PrevailerYou need to find a middle ground.I keep telling people in my posts that duality is a lie a complete and utter lie.Stop being taken in by it.You are completely incapable of untangling yourself from your mind.You live in your mind listening to the 2 off biological computers which is probably a foreign concept to you.You are living in a dual consciousness state totally unaccepting that you can and need to unite your consciousness state and therefore come out of your head and stop being ruled by your thoughts.

We are not thoughts.....we just have thoughts. But who are we then if we are not thoughts?My view is that we get embroiled in our thoughts whether these be considered good or bad thoughts...but then what is good or bad? For me anyway...the solution can not be found solely in thoughts. There is more to it than that. We need to become more familiar and accepting of the consciousness states that we drift into/out of.We are not these consciousness states either...we just become aware of them. I keep stating in my posts that my view is that we spend far too much time in the split consciousness state getting confused. We need to focus more on bringing ourselves out of the split consciousness state into the more united consciousness state. This does not involve thought..it involves an individuals ongoing action.There are two crucial exercises that the individual needs to perform in my view.1.Internally talk to oneself and listen to oneself. The individual needs to be totally familiar with the sound of their own internal voice and talking to oneself internally.2.The individual needs to action the process of bringing oneself into the moment (in synch) into the united consciousness state more and more and more.

The neutral consciousness state is a still state of mind whereby the individual chooses to consciously only listen to still thoughts created within the neutral consciousness state and not engage with thoughts that involve mind movement .i.e. involve the individual shifting to a different split consciousness state to engage with the thought.

IF there is a neutral consciousness state then surely that knocks reasonings on the head.If reasoning has been neutralised then what takes over.Does a belief system take over?
