While everything that you need to be happy is already there I feel like we’re still missing out on something. Who says we can’t change our bodies, our facial attributes and the kind. While there for sure is more ‘important’ and more exciting stuff around I would not deny the possibility of such. Yet, in no way this is going to happen from a place of limited mind. And might aswell not be needed nor wanted anymore when you realise it carries no importance at all. I came to realise that beauty is fairly relative. And believe me there is more to it than natural good looks. Everybody can look good if one is invested in oneself. That means, training, hygiene, haircut, clothes and all that stuff. Not to forget charisma, authenticity, humour, intelligence, and especially just simply being yourself. If you‘re happy with yourself you will light up the room more than somebody that only has a beautiful facade. I can say that I’m pretty gifted in that department and while I have an easy time picking up girls it‘s definitely not because I got the natural good looks. Heck, I‘ve seen the ‘ugliest’ guys (like really, guys that didn’t even have a decent haircut or good taste in clothing) dating the most beautiful girls. Why is that? Because they had confidence, they had humour and they didn’t give a shit. You don’t know how far not taking yourself seriously can bring you. Natural good looks may get you some prying eyes and it might make things easier when going out with the desire to pick up girls, but that’s it. If you can’t hold up a conversation you already lost. If you’re an uninteresting douche-bag you already lost. Good looks alone might get you some one night stands if you’re really needy. But what does that do for you besides feeding your ego? You might aswell just jerk off not needing to deal with all the other inconveniences that might arise. I’m not saying these things are bad things per se. But they are not as great as they seem. It’s monkey stuff. Do it one time, two times, three times and you’ll see. You’re just running away from what you really want. You’re just running away from yourself. Side notice: A good practice could also be to look at a picture of a ‘desirable’ celebrity for five minutes straight. Notice if their appearance is really that beautiful or if it’s only the projecting of non physical attributes that makes them look beautiful. Significance in percentages: - natural looks maybe 20% - hygiene/care and self investment 20% - being yourself, being charismatic and all the other traits 60%

There is no point other than love, feeling good, happiness. How to experience these things? Certainly not by jerking off your mind. Get out of your head and do what feels good to you. Use feeling as your guide. Feeling has access to higher intelligence, your rational mind has not. You have been programmed to think that life is important, that you have to become something, that you have to achieve something that at the end of the day you can look back and say: “Heck, this life was worth living.” What if it all just doesn’t really matter? Isn’t this a massive relieve? You don’t have to follow your programming anymore - you are free. You can do whatever your heart screams to do. Your uttermost desire is to feel good. What if there doesn’t need to be a point other than that? This is the point.

There are a lot of stories about supernatural powers (called siddhis) and how to acquire them. They are oftentimes seen as distraction on the path towards enlightenment and should be avoided if one truly seeks liberation. It is said that they require serious effort and are pretty hard to obtain. In my eyes the concept of needing to work towards those powers to acquire them seems false. All of this work is guiding towards more simplicity and seeing the falseness of all concepts. I‘m not denying that through meditation, concentration, imagination and focus there might be access to miraculous powers like moving small objects in a room or manifesting something out of thin air only by the power of the mind. Likewise how it is possible to punch a hole into a brick wall by extreme focus and energy guidance. But this will consume tons of energy and requires years and decades of training ones mind. The mirror image throughout nature is always ‘the less trying to get something/somewhere the more access to power’. In the end we always see how idiotic all our efforts have been, nature is already waiting. We always try to batter in a door when we aswell could have used the doorhandle. Trying to gain those powers is kinda like trying to become enlightened. It will enable you to have certain insights, but the true gifts will remain locked as long as one is trying. If supernatural powers truly exist there has to be a way of effortlessness. In effortless manifestation one would be able to simply intend things from consciousness into consciousness. No thinking nor focus needed. Even beyond the concepts of manifesting, imagining or willing something into existence. Just simple intent. Just loving love into love from love by love. There’s no doing. Only love. Only intent. IMO this would require completely surrendering ones own will, ones desires, ones goals, literally everything to god. Completely merging with god, where gods will is your own will (which it actually always has been, so to say your truest will). There oftentimes seems to be a lot of fear accompanying. But completely surrendering to god might make one even more human than anything else. Because everything else would only be attachment to thoughts of being something, again. (What does being human even mean? lol) Jesus was one with god. His will was gods will and vice versa. There was no separation. Allegedly he has performed many miracles, simultaneously he was perceived as very humanely. Merging with god doesn’t make you immune to flaw, neither does it make you the perfect being. After all it’s always matter of opinion. In the end one is becoming completely selfless, which will give access to infinite intelligence, which is operating beyond the laws and concepts we created, which should enable one to ‘manipulate’ reality if one wishes to. There is no compulsion and no need to do anything ‘in this state’. There is only love and opportunity. If the intent comes from heart god will not hinder god of doing anything. You will not hinder yourself of doing what feels good to you. Theoretically one could even stop gravity from working, but since this is not something one would like to do for obvious reasons it wouldn’t be possible practically. As funny as it may sound, but the absolute and simplest answer to this would be that it isn’t possible practically because it actually wouldn’t feel good. God implies the word good. We are all one and god doesn’t harm itself. One will use it’s powers when it is to the benefit of oneness. Complete selflessness doesn’t mean there is no self anymore. It’s just that the little self is drowned in infinity. Infinity actually has always been operating through one, it’s just the belief of it being otherwise. Personality dies, individuality rises. Compulsion dies, expression rises. False will dies, true will rises. Everything changes and nothing changes. And in the end there is only one wonder*ing.

this whole existence is a miracle, but still letting an apple float just by looking at it or imagining something into existence out of thin air would by far excel everything that we believe would be possible. That would be some real siddhi -
deso replied to JayG84's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Love it I mean it seems plausible that these things are possible, but there’s no real evidence of such miraculous happenings. Did you have direct experience with siddhis? -
maybe

Hey, I’m really really desperate. A year ago I underwent circumcision to fix my phimosis. The surgeon cut off too much skin, which results in pain and uncomfortable erections. Even while flaccid it’s extremely annoying and disallows me to do a lot of stuff. The overall experience really sucks beyond words. I consulted several urologists already, but none of them could help me. I was searching the internet for months, but there simply is no technique to reverse the damage. I could wait for regenerative medicine, but that‘s still extremely far away. The only way would be regenerating it by myself. Abraham Hicks speaks a lot about these things. There‘s a guy named Joe Dispenza who speaks about the achievement of such miraculous healing. I mean Jesus reportedly walked on water, transformed water into wine, healed the lepers, attached an ear that has been cut off. I just don’t trust all of it really .. I‘m 22 and I just can‘t deal with it. Everyday I‘m on the verge of suicide because I can‘t take it anymore. I don‘t want no more.. @Leo Gura please help me .. You’re my last hope
-
Yes, I get that, that‘s what I‘ll be doing anyways But still regeneration seems plausible to me. I might be grandly biased, but I can’t get my head around why it shouldn’t be possible.
-
@Leo Gura can‘t you just become the second coming of Jesus and resolve that shit? ? No but seriously, are you absolutely sure regeneration of body parts is not possible by god? Regenerative medicine has found out that we actually have the genes for regeneration, but something keeps this turned off. This can‘t be that hard.

@WaveInTheOcean so, you’re stating that it is possible to make an apple rise to the air just by looking at it? I mean it seems plausible for god to be able to do things like that, but we still seem extremely limited in our finit form here. I mean Jesus is portrayed as doing a bunch of miraculous things, but I don‘t know if the Bible is to be trusted with that or if it were just a bunch of metaphors and it actually never happened -
@Tom T that’s something I should have done

That’s correct. -

@Nahm does this mean the dream can be changed just by simple intent? Just like Jesus did? He said it was and it became. He was embodying this truth. He was pure simplicity, pure love. -
deso replied to JayG84's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nahm I’m stating Nahm exists in my imagination and that this part of my imagination maybe could answer the part of my imagination that I call I if what I’m imagining is possible? Or is it just an imagination in an imagination that is not possible? -
I was in therapy for a long time. Just due to self hate I did this to myself. I guess my only option is to love the shit out of everything now and to become Christ himself.

@Nahm If I am making it up, shouldn’t I also be able to ‘manipulate‘ it from that space? Shouldn’t I that am everything and nothing be able to change the dream? After all nothing exists. This physical world doesn’t exist. This body doesn’t exist. ‘We’ don’t exist. Everything is just pure imagination. Shouldn’t I then, from that place, be able to change the illusion to my likes? Just by let’s say ‘source imagination’? -
@diamondpenguin I just can‘t believe that I have done this to myself. I don‘t have the energy left to go through years of restoration. I‘m traumatized and I can‘t invest hours everyday into that. Due to the stretch marks and the scarring it would be even more complicated.

Feeling good. Having fun. Love. Isn‘t it a relieve when nothing matters? You don’t have to accomplish nothing. Dream up the greatest experience ever! What‘s the point of dancing? What‘s the point of music? You don‘t think about it, you enjoy it. There‘s no point. Only expression. It‘s like art. And it‘s love. What if you‘re art itself? What if you‘re love itself? You‘re an endless river of expression, you’re an endless expression of feel good. -

Maybe you should stop trying to get somewhere. There is nowhere to go. Try to do things that feel good to you, just for the sake of it feeling good right now. Nothing to accomplish. Nothing to understand. Nothing to heal. Nothing that you have to do. You‘re already who you wanna be, you have already everything that you want in life, you‘re already healed, you‘re already what you desire. Your logical, rational mind tries to make a sense out oft it, tries to understand each and every corner because you think that maybe then you would find what you‘re seeking. But how do you want to find something that can‘t be found? What if you’re already it? You see, we‘re programmed into thinking that we have to think about something for long enough and at some point we will get an answer. That‘s how our system works. What we don‘t see is, is that the answer is not coming from the endless thinking, but from a short moment of silence inbetween when our thinking stops and suddenly we have found what we have been looking for all the time. The answers are already there. You have done a lot. Maybe now is the time to try out a different route. Allow yourself to feel good, allow yourself to rest. You‘re already there. You are loved. -
that’s a process that takes years, and you can only stretch the outer skin, it’s not the same afterwards either, just some more skin, most of the functions are still gone
-
@Raze @diamondpenguin I know, but the skin is already full of stretch marks, the scarring is really bad, you can’t stretch it really anymore I don’t want to die, but I can’t live with this, my life is over

@28 cm unbuffed you’re thinking too much. You’re coming up with all kinds of stories, because you don’t yet understand it with your heart. God is no masochist (I mean he can pretend to be at times), he only wants love. He doesn’t want to feel like shit, that’s not his goal. It’s the simplest of the simple principles. Just aswell with whatever you do in your life, your goal is never to feel like shit, even if you’re a rapist or whatever, you want to feel good. The underlying mechanism of everything is actually love. Coming closer to that. But you need to awaken to that first. Trying to make sense out of it will not get you there. Sadhguru would say ‘you need to balance it with sweetness of emotion’. Truth may look ugly if you overly intellectualise it. Again, truth can’t be understood. Love is all there is. -
@Dutch guy still your meat needs to be involved. If you sense pain this will just reduce your fun immensely and will hinder you to really let go
-
@Dutch guy but I want normal sex. For me it’s not about the orgasm per se. It’s about the experience, the closeness, everything, it’s just fked up
