  1. @Butters Second this ^ There is absolutely no chance of a global awakening happening right now, it's so far from that its idiotic and naive to think so. Maybe it might seem that way in the guys little spiritual circle, but the world at large? no chance. Go travel to china, North Korean, the Middle East and Africa as an example and you'll see very fast world war 3 is far more likely than any great awakening. I'm very in touch with global society atm and meet lots of people from all nationalities on a daily basis due to my work and I can sadly say I NEVER meet anyone who has a clue on what non duality is. Don't listen to people recording from there smartphones in the woods about what's going on in the world.
  2. I don't know why but for some reason I am very skeptical of Frank Yang, I don't wanna be negative on anyone but I think he's actually suffering from a common trap on the path of delusional self grandeur. I mean he's literally claiming to be as enlightened as the buddha despite not actually proving it in anyway. He claims to have transcended all human suffering. I love to seem him prove that. He's only be meditating for what six years. If you spend time around most monks none of them would claim what he claims despite them having 10x the experience he dose. What he dose have though is a following on YouTube so its prob hard to not fall into your own bullshit when everyone is parsing you. The reason why I feel this is because I have also slightly fell victim to this and everyone started to think I was some kind of buddha. Really what was happening is I was just good at convincing people I was enlightened than actually being enlightened. I still think there is something to be said for showing not saying, he just says a lot. If he really is as enlightened as he says he is do like a week long meditation without moving and live stream it. Also Leo is right, Dmt, 5meo ect if taken enough of blows conventional enlightenment out the water. I have reached high levels of awakening ect through meditation but if you take enough psychs it totally blows all that out the water. Humans are very limited in what they can awaken to, an alien or deity on the other hand can see through the very flaws of human spirituality and that's a good thing as there is so much to explore it never ends.
  3. Was psychedelics discovered back then?
  4. @Vladimir Lovely stuff, only thing I will say is don't be to hasty, yes your unfolding but don't be too surprised if there is something around the corner ready to bring you to your knees again. We tend to thing we have made it then reality comes along to show you more depth. As long as we are in this human form we must endure some level of suffering. I hope not tho and this stays with you. Great stuff and be happy :0
  5. Well you can get alot from Buddhism in terms of how to deal with suffering and their take on detachment and happiness even can be very valuable and practical in day to day life. Maybe what Leo means is with the deeper aspects of its philosophy on what reality actually is. But you can just take that bit with a pinch of salt. Meditation is a great self development tool no questions there.
  6. @Leo Gura while I don't agree with you saying you're the most awake being on the planet, as it looks terrible for your PR and could come back to bite you. I do think you your making good points in the fact no one on the planet has reality figured out and its total self deception thinking otherwise. Good luck even understanding 1%, psychedelics can teach the world this. You are also right in that human beings are very near the bottom scale when it comes to figuring this all out. But we are blessed with some nice tools but we are just dumb species. I once saw the god of god on a trip and I think it was to showcase just how dumb I was.
  7. @Breakingthewall Don't think for one second there not other hardcore psychonauts who have gone as deep or deeper than Leo. I have met loads, some do things with psychedelics you wouldnt dare. But one thing I have noticed with all of them is they loose sense of reality in this world as a human, it's hardly something you would want to replicate. At the end of the day some of the stuff he is saying should raise alarm bells. "I am the most awakened person in the whole of humanity" when in reality I take a shit load of psychedelics. What is so special in that? it's hardly an achievement is it? granted there are intense as hell but anyone can do it and you can easily encourage people to pursue awakening through psychedelics without being arrogant and mean about it, if anything that will just put people off and now with some of the posts recently people are going to see this as a cult with a narcissistic leader, he is fucking up and I hope he returns to normal soon
  8. pursue somone who will actually respond. forget her and find someone else
  9. @Someone here can get boring and lead to suffering by having sex with lots of different people, becomes a sort of an addiction. Nice to find one soul to satisfy you and then focus on more meaningful things. Polyamory is an energetic nightmare but fun if your single
  10. @Cocolove Exactly you have to feel and process, I mean yeah you can avoid possibly through meditation but when your stuck on a 10 day silent retreat its very hard to avoid how your feeling. They worked absolute wonders for me, almost miraculously. But I understand everyone is different and every situation is different but its worth investigating.
  11. There is no fixed rule, depends on the reason why. Maybe you come out of a relationship that wasn't very good for you and you meet someone who fulfills you more. But if you were deeply in love with the person makes sense to jusr wait abit and heal. Meditation retreats are so good for break ups
  12. @Cocolove How old are you btw, give some more context on the relationship?
  13. @Tyler Robinson I feel like there is way more too it than that. If all I wanted to do is raise my consciousness I wouldn't even need a partner. I've been down that road also. I'm more interested in the sort of appraoches people have taken and what has worked and hasn't worked. I don't find much info on this subject, unless I'm looking in the wrong places.
  14. title speaks for itself, just entered a new relationship and wondering what have others found to make it help your spiritual growth? Any advice and tips My partner is fairly new to spirituality but is very keen to explore it with me and also her mom is very conscious and even follows Leo's videos. Also our values are aligned so its a good start.
  15. @Identity yeah I feel like it defo is its own skill in a sense. Raising your bassline is defo the start, but if done incorrectly or picking the wrong person can bring you back down I can imagine. Do you have any links on the tantric stuff you mentioned? Would be interested in looking.
  16. Well said, I really don't get the fascination with him personally ? It's kind of scary and shows our society isn't as evolved as we think if people care what he has to say ??
  17. depends on the place its coming from if your being vulnerable in a way that is trying to get her to help or save you in some way then possibly she could loose attraction but if it is in a way where you are being honest and telling her the truth then it can actually been seen as a strength. Hiding emotions in a way to look masculine can also be seen as weakness.
  18. Just out of interest what is the interest regarding this guy? Why even give him a second thought? What dose he contribute to society ?
  19. The only way to truly know if he was a fraud is if you have gamed with him in person. I haven't so can't comment but I have with some of the other early RSD instructors and there were the real deal interms of results especially Julian. But getting loads of girls get boring real quick and you have to be abit unhinged to be a pick up coach because that's what RSD actually taught, how to pick up. You still have so many other dimensions to it like how to sustain a healthy relationship ect. Tyler was a small fat ginger guy who prob is 10x better than all of you guys commentating, but like I said why should we even care getting loads of girls can even make your life worse. Then again its easy for me to say as I spent so much time getting better at it to only get bored of it so if your still on the other side you still think somehow it's something worth pursuing, which it is only so you can see through it so to speak.
  20. if you have a yearning to go out and meet others do so and do it as much as your heart lets you. Be aware when you connect with people there is also some emeshment involved which can cause alot of problems also. Being comfortable being alone is an important skill to learn also on the spritual path. The awnser, get good at both.
  21. Journal two: First month of struggle After a successful two months of actually living the dream of having your passion your full time job I hit my first block/hard month. All the potential work I had built up for this month has been pushed back to January leaving me with only one job this month. Luckily the Government support local new businesses and I can always move out of the flat I am living in for a month or two but what I have noticed is a few things in terms of mindset. When things were going well and I was getting lots of work in I really had the belief that there is an abundance of opportunity and you can loose even if you loose everything you can just work and get it all again. However now I am faced with that actually a real possibility now and I realise more than ever how important it is to keep the abundance mindset and keep going. I picked up the book Extreme ownership by Joko Willink and rewatch some of Leo's old motivational videos on the importance of doubling down when in you go through struggle. Let's see if I can escape this hard patch without giving in and going back to full-time work as a cop out.
  22. Hello everyone, The intention for this journey is to document my journey in pursing my life's purpose and escaping wage slavery whilst staying true to my values and staying in integrity. I have been luckily enough to figure out exactly what my life's purpose during a very long meditation treat. Around one month in I went for a short walk in a forrest and I suddenly got downloaded everything I needed to know about what my mission is here on Earth. Of course I am aware and open this can evolve and change to but for now I have a clear vision. The next step is actualizing it and this is where the challenge has really begun. For now my life's purpose is to create films based on spirituality and to convey wisdom through film and video. I went to film school ten years ago but got sidelined through heavily uprising enlistment and other interests. I developed a blog in my life's purpose due to fear of not being any good or failure. around three months ago I finally went full-time on filming and editing freelance however a lot of the work I have been doing for now dose not align with my highest values but I am trying to build a name for myself and then I can start to filter out what is important and what is not. Already my integrity has been tested on a few projects. I have quite bad learning difficulties and suffer from low self esteem because of this as my ability to function in the world is not as good as others so want to hopefully motivate others to escape wage slavery and spread more love in the world.
  23. I'm pretty sure he only suggests pick up for people struggling in that area. A lot of guys who are already at a healthy point with that stuff don't get attracted to pick up.
  24. @Jannes I have been micro-dosing abit atm and the key is less is more. The less you do it the more magical it will be. Make sure your intentional about when you use it be mindful if doing it for the shake of it. And use it to help heal wonders and work on yourself such as improving your concentration naturally without micro-dosing. Balance is key as with everything.
  25. Journal one Expedition and meditation retreat to the swish alps I recently visited Switzerland to help a friend film for one of his YouTube channel and while I was there we did a small meditation retreat and I documented some of it found here I found this fun to make as I had full creative control and was just having fun with it. I find I work best when I can connect with something higher then myself, with the video I didn't have an intention and just wanted for some signs from the universe on who to go about editing the project, such as taking inspiration from good moments when I was sat around a campfire listening to a song in a good mood I let that dictate how I would think about editing the video.
