I actually find meat eaters to be more annoying personally, they like to provoke vegans. My sister has been vegetarian since a teenager and vegan the last 7 years. She received a lot of shit from my brother over the years, he would wind her up, and make jokes about her not wanting to eat meat. he is another one who gets really triggered about people not wanting to eat meat. But he is a chef who prepares a lot of meat, so veganism is a threat to his work, since more and more people don’t want to eat meat.

Projection of course! But I would say first and foremost vegans are vegans out of compassion for animals and not wanting to contribute to suffering. They are passionate about it and want to speak up... if you are triggered by that then you should ask yourself why...

I agree. Ever since I was little if I was feeling afraid I used to pray to universe ‘please let everything be ok’ or ‘everything will be ok’ and repeat it to myself over and over before going to sleep. I still do it sometimes if I’m feeling fearful about life.

I think the main issue and triggering thing about pickup is that people don't want to feel used and abused. Since women are much more emotional in general, they are more prone to feeling that way. whereas it's less likely that a man would feel he had been used for sex. If only everyone were honest from the get go there would be a lot less hurt and misunderstandings. If both parties are like, wanting to have fun and have no strings attached sex then it's ok, but it all depends on the person and how self aware they are. But no it's not like that for the most part, it turns into lies and games from unconscious people. And this type of pickup is the mainstream, and that's why it's so triggering - because it's associated with men using women for sex. Nobody wants to feel they were tricked into something. someone else said previously on another thread that pickup should take another name. If people used the word 'conscious dating' rather than using the word 'pickup' it wouldn't cause people to close off in defence.

I agree. Me and my partner have talked about getting married in the future because of visa reasons so it’s easier to stay together. there is way too much pressure in social circles to get married. I escaped all that when I left my hometown and moved to another country... my old friend group from school are all now with children and married, one after the other. I’m somewhat of a loner now so nobody questions me at all about marriage or children.

Yes. I don’t necessarily want to get married. But to build a life with someone and grow together.

Plenty of handsome chaps in Italy for sure. yes but with huge egos lol. I had 2 Italian guys on separate occasions tell me that italians are the best, they 'have the best food, culture, fashion, and that Italian people are not stupid compared to people from other countries' yes some of that may be true regarding food and fashion, but at least be humble about it lol

I think the more common type of male stripper would be at a hen party, I don't know how popular actual male strip clubs are. I spontaneously went to an erotic dance club some years back, when drunk late night in Bulgaria. of course it was women though not men.. I could imagine the vibe would be very different if it were male strippers. the stereotype for women who get horny over strippers etc would be a loud and drunk middle age type lol

Me personally, deffo not. But I’ve known of women who like that type of thing lol. I’ve always been attracted to more unusual types rather than the typical attractive guy that everyone fancies. I never got crushes on famous people as a teen either, when all my friends did ha. It takes a certain type of person to get my attention, looks matter of course, but I wouldn’t want to date a guy just because he was really good looking.

No it doesn’t make you immune to the virus, you will still have to continue to wear a mask and social distance because you can still carry it. It just lessens the symptoms. I think the aim is that once most of the population has the vaccine, Covid will become something like common cold, or maybe it just vanishes. But this will take a while.
