  1. Northern Ireland is the most fascinating place on earth imo. Even though I've seen amazing documentaries about it again and again, I can never understand how something like The Troubles could happen in that part of the world in such modern times. It's absolutely insane.
  2. WOW, has this movie aged well! Adam Scott’s character is so spot on. The immaturity he represents and gets away with, is such a huge social issue in the US. Just look at what’s happened to the country since then…
  3. I meant the debate about which gender is more shallow.
  4. Dude, we wanna have sex with random girls we pass on the street at any time just because they look nice… This is a war we cannot win 🤣
  5. Did you mean unattractive men here? You can't separate a man's sexiness and his behavior. They go hand in hand. Do you really think that for example autism, which I have, doesn't affect a guy's results with women? My looks are good enough to get me a lot of matches on dating apps, but I've never been popular among women IRL. I went on around 40(!!!) dates before I got laid for the first time. How do you explain this?
  6. This is not true. You have no idea how little it takes for a woman to lose interest in you because of something you say or do. I’ve been rejected by so many women on dates that it’s honestly ridiculous. It’s also a well-known thing these days that women get «the ick» from the smallest things guys do.
  7. @Tenebroso You actually have some good points, but those points mainly apply to people in their 20s. Remember, there’s life after your 20s too. Things change quickly then, and men and women become equally attractive.
  8. I can confirm that Leo’s techniques work. Dedicate a year, or at least half a year, to doing his exercises every day and start looking for funniness everywhere—especially when you’re social. I did this, and the results have been amazing!
  9. There never was a «before she made alt accounts.» She’s had several accounts and probably has been talking to herself with different accounts for as long as she’s been here. Just look at how old this account is for example: https://www.actualized.org/forum/profile/8397-tyler-robinson/
  10. The damage one person (Preety India) can do to a forum. You almost can’t trust anybody here anymore... It’s like The Departed.
  11. I refuse to believe it was a coincidence. I would probably have lost my spark for life too…
  12. Inequality is the key word here. When a society becomes too unequal, too many people start living in two very different realities. That’s when you get nationalistic conservatives on one side, and progressives—more like «world citizens»—on the other. Even though the working class in for example the US has it rough, American progressives don’t really feel that bad for them, because they know that the poorest people in places like Africa or the Middle East have it way worse. The only Americans whose level of suffering might compare to the worst in those places might generally just be the trans people. Trans people are some of the most miserable people on Earth, even in Western countries.
  13. I actually agree, even though this culture benefits me a lot — I’m really introverted, can’t dance, but I have the looks. Still, going out on a Saturday night and only sticking to your own group, like we do here, feels so sad and absurd to me. Same with walking around a city surrounded by thousands of people and never interacting with any of them, because talking to strangers is such a social taboo. It’s like we’ve been given one of the greatest privileges a human can have, but we’re not using it. There was recently an op-ed here encouraging people to talk more with strangers in their everyday lives, and it got a lot of likes. I really hope it’s the start of something!
  14. Why? Relatively few people, daygame doesn't work and online dating has pretty much killed bars and clubs as an arena for sex/relationships. Online dating is huge in Scandinavia. This.
  15. Your date didn’t go so well?
  16. Because all the other methods are highly ineffective, especially if you live in a country where cold approaching is against the social norms, like I do. I’ve been really social for the last four years, and I have a pretty large social circle. During this period, I think there’s only been one party where there were a lot of women. Also, if you're socially awkward, your female friends may not be too keen on hooking you up with one of their friends, as it can negatively affect their popularity or reputation, which is every woman's nightmare. If you’ve chosen the right study or work, that can at least give you a lot of options, but hitting on a co-worker or fellow student? Risky business, especially if your social skills are bad. I have the worst experiences here!
  17. Sometimes I wonder if I missed a meeting of all humanity where it was decided who would get which rating...
  18. *Crickets* @numbersinarow Black pill may be the most miserable path you can choose in life, so you should at least be able to argue your case. Last month you claimed that nightgame is based on looks and then I asked you why I've never gotten any results with nightgame, but a lot of success with online dating. You didn't answer then either...
  19. Anything else would be pretty strange considering that people are less social than ever.
  20. How is your level of opportunities to talk to girls pre-determined?
  21. Gotta say I feel for northern European men who can't get results with online dating. There’s no culture for daygame here, work and studies are pretty risky, and social circle is ineffective. Nightgame is also really ineffective, especially if you’re introverted and don’t like partying. Most women seem to be out just to dance and have fun with their friends, and since most people drink and go out less than before, nightgame is increasingly becoming a thing for a certain type of person: The party-loving extrovert. It also doesn’t help that men’s social skills are so bad these days that women know that a man will most likely be a little creepy if he approaches.
  22. I see. Well, wish you all the best on your journey. Hah! Maybe Lucy is right. Of all the Oeaohoos in the world, you are the Oeaohooiest.
  23. Maybe. All I know is that my right-wing years were some of the worst years of my life. My life is really good today and I don’t despise anyone anymore. Especially not for their political takes. Yeah, hard to argue against that! People will have to start acting like adults sooner or later though.
