You are right but I ment in a philosophical non dual sense. There everything is illusion. With revenge I ment it as a general topic for mankind like for example marriage or sex. It's part of our life. Even if it is not acted upon it it is sometimes subconsciously there. Sometimes it's better not to feed them and sometimes to face it in little dosages. For example I don't like watching horror movies. But when I watch it in very brief periods I can handle it and feel stronger. Specially when I spent lots of time in low stress safe space environments where I feel like to sensitive for reality sometimes. It's called kathargic.

There might be no real progress just the illusion of progress. I am into selfimprovement because it is a nice story that works for me for now. No need to get too attached on the story if possible except for survival and exploration.
-
From an artistic stanpoint it could be story that writes itself practically. It has so much energy it the story takes over. It could be just physical but mostly a story comes with it or the story is hidden and it is frustrating that one can't get the story. For example in movies the most powerful topic is revenge. That story writes itself because that is our biological core.

@Parththakkar12 I am color blind so my reasoning is the BLM and democrats crossed the line. They look like lost cause. Trump looks like the only adult in the room. His approval will probably be higher than ever before. -
I think she partly is right but mainly wrong. Not every community has a maniac work culture and that is ok. Even in cultures there are different mindsets. For example the orthodox jews in Israel are basically making a lot of kids reciting the tora for hours and get welfare from the state. So there is income inquality there but it's because of different attitudes to work. Japanes have a word for death through work it is called karoshi. Most cultures don't want to work that hard and that is ok. I don't want to work at a japanese, or korean level. I understand that it creates friction in society because it is natural that people want to be treated equally but not all communities have the same values so you can not treat people who have different cultures equal. You have to tread them fair and appropriate. That is a tricky thing for multi cultural societies. Like I have written couple of times the democrats made with their welfare policies and wrong incentives the situation worse regarding single mothers. Bottom line the Japanese were far richer then the aborigines. There was income inequality. It was not because anybody oppressed them. Not every inequality is to be blamed on oppression from people. On the other thread I gave the example of the island. You can work 10 minutes a day there or 15 hours a day. That would make a huge difference in 400 years. The protestors have a responsibility to keep the protest peaceful. Additionally this bullying to kneel thing is very humiliating. It is not acceptable. Here Tucker sees the fault in the cooperations. USA is a big cooperation. Maybe the usa need a new social contract and if people hate each other so much they should divide the country.
-
It seems it is just the beginning. The tribal states of divided America becomes a vision. The wet dreams of the right seems more possible now. You are no more allowed to say you are not racist. Otherwise you are racist. USA is going insane:
-
I ment standing up against activists who are defunding the police and who basically do what the right wing does that is identity politics.
-
That might be true for them but that is only possible because millions of people are silent to this locally and in the USA and globally.

That is why my working concept is self improvement. I repeat myself here. That is why I look down on people and myself when doing chronic complaining and blaming others. That takes away from my concentration from doing productive things. I think first comes work then fun. Otherwise things get out of control very fast. Ones the lizard, monkey brain takes over it's game over. Of course the religion has it's place. It's actually there to calm the lizard brain. We know they are lies and we have to make the next step if we don't want to risk degeneration through building a system on lies. -
This stupidity makes Trump look like a normal person. A lot of oppurtunists and cowards makes this possible I guess. The excuse is that they are desperate. Yes, maybe. It looks still quite stupid. On the other hand we will definitely learn something about it from this experiment that probably will come with a very high price.

I am not so shure about it. Look at for example Brasil. There are many failed states who get taken over by fascism. We are making ganes in some fields and degenerate in others it seems. Most of the development comes basically from prosperity due to scientific progress. The base from it is hard work. I believe like Henry, the father of socialism that our default is being lazy. Degeneration is the default. People take progress for granted. For example the Aborigines lived for 40k years the way they did till the europeans arrived. Not much would have changed otherwise. Destruction is so much easier then building. False optimism can bring desaster. If you don't gratify the high achievers they will stop putting in the effort. Things will slow down, hunger and starvation can follow. Not every culture wants to be like Japan or Germany. Let them be work maniacs. It can be beneficial war everybody. They produce technology and others produce some form of happy cultures ideally. Then German and Japanes can take a break and enjoy other cultures. The easy going cultures on the other hand can profit from the technology of the others. That is the ideal scenario. If we can't handle that, things will be very problematic. -

It was the opposite for me. I was raised in a low education islamic migrant culture. Their culture mostly was based on lies. The german culture helped to figure that out. The migrant culture had it's advantages like you said it was more fun, warm, easy going in general. I thought I don't want to base my life on lies that is why I left that culture. One problem was I think that I got the patterns of the culture subconsciously ingrained. That I think is one of the reasons I could not generate the intellectual patterns to be more efficient in thinking. I tried quite hard to overcome it with selfimprovement. Still it was not easy. My point is that some cultures hold people like me back. Also they base their lifes on lies. They should have the right to do it but it's clear that there will be friction between people like me and them. I tried hard to get my life together. It was really hard. Some cultures have given up but blame others. So my natural default is easy going but then I start to make stupid mistakes and my life becomes more difficult. That is why people like me have to fight to get motivation and have problems with people who complain and blame others all the time and behave dysfuncional at the same time. -
The question would be with what kind of people one wants to have intimacy. If a women wants adrenaline and adventure she might prefere a bad boy. Or at least some risk taker. They can be found at night clubs or risky sports. If one can handle calm, nerdy, feminine guys then yoga, book clubs would make sense. In general dancing seems to be kind of a compromise to get together. Karaoke is also not bad though it is more an asian thing mostly. Women normally like succesful guys for that there are some meetups like internations I guess. I guess the tricky thing is we want always more than is reasonable and we come into the hedonistic treadmill. That is why I think I like to be as selfsufficient as possible. The quote for this: Things that depends on others is mostly bad things depending on oneself is mostly good. This way one keeps things realistic and does not lose oneself in illusion in lalaland. Internetdating seems to lack fantasy. What I mean is for example modern movies have so much special effects so that the important part that is the story get's killed. The fantasy needs space to unfold. Internetdating may feel too transactional, or superficial like ordering something at amazon. Bottom line one has to lower ones expectations otherwise things get frustrating very fast.

I think there has to be find the sweet spot the balance. Maybe there are parallels to some activities like going to the school, having challenging hobbies and so on. People who do it on a high level or the highest level are very invested in their activity. They are proud about it and they usually get positive feedback form their community. When this feedback gets denied and one gets punished to be good and proud for ones accomplishments naturally the guy gets frustrated. There has to be found the balance where the guy with his accomplishments (or the culture) gets positive feedback vs gets criticisim for his pride and humiliating others. The question is how much are these exceptional people worth?. They seem to producing inequality. On the other hand these people usually produce advanced technology that seems to bring social progress. So it's about balance. Both elements are important. There has to be balance between socialism and capitalism. Naturally everybody has their own default level. -

Who knows? But we know for shure how much false propaganda and lies the mainstream media did about Trump. Bill Maher comes to mind. I have the feeling that he doesn't like Trump because it makes him look bad when he meets his european jet set friends. I would rather go with Tucker Carlson. He seems to criticize Trump more for the right reasons. Plus Trump did happen because of the Democrats. If they would not be such crooks Trump would not had a chance in the first place. Crazy times need crazy people or so -

I think one important thing to teach people is self discipline and work ethic. Today I read about Henri the father of socialism. He seems to be a realistic guy. He thinks our default as people is to be lazy. That is why it is so hard to create a civilization and to maintain it. I really believe that degeneration is around the corner. It is so easy to give up and lose momentum. It is easy to observe that with the black community but it's true for everyone. I started to watch film noir from the 40s. The mordern movies feel like mindless disneyland. I love pop culture but I think it is addicting and can distract from ones duties so easily. Next you see you wasted decades of your life. It is hard to make the machine going. -

You mean basically Trump and the Looters are Leo? Also the killings in Chicago, it is all Leo killing himself? -

Right plus the gangster culture makes it hard to even consider to be a good dad as there are too few role models. -

I think that is not the point. I think the theory is she doesn't want a father because then she would lose easy money. She would be dependent on him. He would be the boss. I guess she wants to be rather independent because that is what feminism and media says. This way she can have fun with other men for hook ups and feel like a boss and have the security to have enough money. -

Yes there has to be a very smart systems of incentives to gratify "good" behaviour. That is some higher level social engineering, positive psychology, self motivation, self improvement thing. One theory is that the democrats did consciously creat incentives for women to be single moms. If she had a man she did not get welfare money. That produced the core problem of having no fathers. That seems to be a big reason for the crime problem. -

Me too. But it's hate speech in the eyes of the mainstream. I think she was saying something about 18,5% but I could not understand that. I heard Ben Shapiro talking about that as well but I could not find the background. Vaush goes mad on her video. He is saying that her numbers (18,5%) are not correct. Today I am not fit enough to try to figure it out. -
It reminds me of the translation of the word "talk" in german. The german word is "unterhaltung" that has a second meaning that is "entertainment" Social interaction seems to be 90% entertainment. That is probably why people love to be drugged when they meet other people. Ecstasy seems to be the most effektiv ones. Intellectual conversations are tricky. I guess that is a "luxury" I would not expect that. For that the internet is quite good. Also we look for validation from others that is mostly draining because it is mostly an illusion like the fashion industry it distracts from a sustainable emotional support system that is the one you have to create yourself. On the other hand when one goes to the path of self exploration it does make less and less sense to invest in socializing. So some sacrifices have to be taken into account I guess. A philospher would say: know yourself, then you can know where to go. I like Epikur he had this philosophy: Live hidden. Don't do politics. Live frugal. Have a garden with friends. I guess one should not have too high expectations for the friends otherwise things get to difficult. And be intellectually curious. I guess it is to chanel the general boredom into a good direction. We have the need to explore but that could bring us into trouble. Intellectual curiosity is an easy way to do it safely. Think about Leo for example he has a "digital garden" here where he "hangs out" with his "friends" I am a big fan of karaoke and self communication training like loud and silent selftalk, reading etc. It helps to connect with others and with oneself. Mostly the need to talk to others comes because one feels the need to express oneself that can be done to a great part alone with right training.

Ui. Candace Owens is hard to digest for non trumpees. I would have taken something more light. She gives a shill vibe. Some call her a grifter like Dave Rubin. She was once at Joe Rogan she did not do a good job there but I agree with big parts of her. With the alcoholics there is a saying that you have to first accept that you have an alcohol problem only then you can start working to solve it. The black community and many individuals give the vibe that everybody else is to be blamed but not them. The whites actually listen to them. In Asia say Japan and China people would not even listen to them.
