The woke left increases the speed for a more woke society. It gets so fast. Amazing. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jun/27/loreal-to-remove-words-like-whitening-from-skincare-products

Yes maybe but you wrote problematic I didn't write problematic. That is what you wrote and understood. I tried to describe the high energy of the woke left. Well the left is quite a diverse group. Of course some of them reach spectacular results like in this case so it's worse mentioning and I didn't even say something negative about it. I did applaud their energy and creativity. They are 2 steps ahead of everybody else it seems. That is noteworthy. I like thinking in perspectives. I can identify temporarily with different groups. So I am a lefty myself sometimes I guess.

Actually there was a time where I felt like I have no time for it. For many years I have more time now and integrated novel reading into my routines. The effect is very strong. The level of communication abilities gets much higher. Same with the level of understanding things. It' s quite massive. Though I had to adjust some things to make it effective without them it would not helped me much I guess. You become a much better story teller and look for people who have higher level of story telling. I think that stories are the natural way we learn things. I believe in the future we will have better stories where we can learn thing much better. Same as in YT videos and learning apps. Some of them are much better than real teachers.

Allright. I lost the game today. I got too hedonistic did some fun things and got addicted. So not much done today. Anyway tomorrow is another day and I will try to get back on the horse. I did listen to Sam Harriss today. He dealt with the situation in the US. It felt like he is an European guy trapped in the US where he does not belong. With a president that disgutsts him. With people he can not vibe I guess. Btw. I did my reading and 6 Karaoke's. That was nice.

Vaush critics Sam Harriss about systemic racism:

Today I would say was again victory. Well even small victories are victories. I did around 30 plus minutes of work. That is quite a bit for me. I did also my Karaoke and reading. All good so far. I did some other routines that are more fun. So I am quite ok with the day. Something I am planning to do is to read some journal of others here. Some are really top notch. Let's see if I can raise my brain level. The crux with that is that thinking can become unfunny pretty fast. So I have to figure out to do it without getting depressed. Finding the sweat spot.

@electroBeam In this case it's about cities that are run bei the Democratic Party in the US vs. the cities run by the Republican Party. The bigger picture is ok in the discussion too I guess. edit: changed the title

It was a good day regarding my duties. I did pretty good. This system with walking in the room and inner counting numbers seems to be a good method to warm up for the boring work. I hope I can keep my routine where I don't surf in the internet till lunch time. I feel like I may get cocky and do it in the hope it will work out but it does not. I had this alot. I feel like big part of self improvement is doing what Odysseus did when he wanted to withstand the Sirens that is getting tied up to the mast. Other than that I did my 6 karaoke songs. I did 25 minutes of loud novel reading and some other routines.

@ivankiss That makes you dance? Here the jew shuffle of the chosen people:

Allright let's get to the second day and round. I am happy with this day. Recently I regressed regarding my duties that is things that resemble work like organizing, cleaning, laundry, basically the boring things. So I did around 20 minutes today. I used a new technic or tactic if you will. I already had this one technic where I just do my work for 1 minute and make a note that I did it and then I do again 1 minute and so on. I tried higher amounts before but it failed so I have this micro approach. It seems that was not easy enough so I have an additional technic. In general I do many 1 minute meditations. This time after it I did 1 minute walking in the room with inner counting. I did that many times before I even did my first 1 minute work. So this worked this time. Let's see how it will work later. I wake up at 4.00 am. I was happy that I didn't do internet surfing till 1 pm. That is important as I get lost in the forums.

If you feel or think it's legit you may or may not try to convince others. Some will not be convinced and for them it is not a legit question. Not everybody has to care about it. It does produce also outrage with progressives who think everybody has to accept the new model. Specially when you identify ( being invested) as being a progressive. If the "idiots" get outraged because of their simplifications so what? You never even know if the "idiots" are right in the bigger picture too. Specially from a relativistic deterministic perspective "change" does not matter. In a relativistic perspective you can never be right anyway. In the video zahabi makes a good point that science basically is historical patterns. Yes most human knowledge seems to work in some ways. Sometimes if you want to learn something new you have to unlearn what you know. What we know creats a filter for the things we want to learn. So basically we can not know what we don't know. So it's hard to be certain about what is "legit". We are basically puppys playing around imho.
-
Well even then we act like facts are like facts. Otherwise we would not be able to communicate at all. You have rules for a reason in the forum. Without facts it's hard to make rules. It's hard to talk about truth and lies without facts.

Sacrificing means I guess being left wing. Individual freedom is more right wing.

@Leo Gura I think they know relativity but at one point you have to act like "facts" are "facts" Otherweise we would lose ourself in relativism.

I think it's too much to ask for. He has so many talents already. I guess somebody could take some of his work and bring it little bit further. A person with special talents who can sell that stuff to other audiences.

This story sounds cooler for the brand than just copying the other guy.
-
I fell for his brand trick. So it's denfinately no coincidence. So he is the a copy of Meister Eckhart. Which older master's name would you accept? btw. his real name is: Ulrich Leonard Tölle
-
Talking about Eckhart Tolle there is an interesing coincidence. There is another guy named Eckhart: Meister Eckhart. Who do you think is better?
-
That's nice

60 year old white rapist? All the suffering, hunger in the world could not stop Tolle from having fun and money:

That is why policing is so hard. You have to make decisions with limited data. Let's say you have to make these decisions now or the country and the world will end in war with 1 billion death. Let's make it simpler make your own thought experiment: Under what circumstances would you give a murderer 20 years and under what circumstances 5 years?
