Must needs I that squiggly? That soft jiggly? That melody called her Cup and pur? Something quench? Drench? After spent, Back to learn? Donk recherche moi And having l'aide des Lady? Avant m'au revoir Trouve a maid á m'aide maybe?

If it could be removed from me, This heaviness, this skin, This wrapping warying what's within; The weight of mind also my enemy, In fact the cause of gross matter; And alway constant in chatter... No good, I'm already born! Were I not born, still I fear That I would be, but not here, Life is inevitable and sworn More certainly for all who'd scorn. We will have our taste, (What is heaven, what is hell?); The void is itself some place And so... oh well.

On second thought, It ought to be aught, Not naught. After some deliberation; "Each to his nation, Keep to your station!" Again, take a seat. Make friends, greet. Make ends meet. (And know this, please: Focus, is not lotus, Be at ease.) Once more, Seize your, Dream lore.

I know that I know that I know it. Although I may pass for a poet, Or'f'ever I thought me be wise; 'Ts'all Nothingness, naught, O surprise! Say that name to me again, Dear family's known me since then, What was it they'd spoken thus far? But it's blank, bracketed, bar. You may fail in getting this sense, But you reading is not but pretense, 'Cause I am reading, it's you who'd wrote it, I am laughing now at this strange poet! I laugh also at poetry, And at the chance of you knowing me, Because I am nothing, that's all. Am nothing at all...

May you find child again, playful and simple, exactly crime to them, quite crime; they despise rhyme, and spit on soul; who control, who shouldn't like I should, because I wouldn't if I could. Take hold of your breath and then release it. Take hold and release. Take hold, release. What I know about th'available, Th'advance, the bliss, the trance, Is knowledge for th'assailable Who'd fall from their prance, Into that is stable, that is permanent, that lasts.

Whichever way seems best To your ignorant head, but only after knowing your ignorance, hand To heart, that way beats the rest. Why taking long to talk? For Whether what's said is true or not, Whether you gain or lose, a blot Because of time, your memory, your Experience has vanished with the sun Past the hour. If a trial result It's a short lived tumult, And after, as always, the fun. They wrestle for place like It were possible to win Over against another, like There were anything else called sin.

Freed from great hurt but having loved the pain, Goes hunting for it worse Than before, what a shame. Narrow at the peak and spread looking down? no wonder frown. Blink and you'll miss it, stare it's not there.

Who here among this crowd? How to halt the profound, How to stop him in his tracks, Lest the light shine, and he change them. Lest the light shine unto change. If nothing hold him back, They all soar; but the dark and black Intentions left outside the door? So that no matter what we stop him! We are and he is no more, If he is then we are the lack Therefore...

Thank you @SoonHei God is Love -
@TheEnigma In terms of dealing with fundamentalist Christians it isn't a problem. They're telling you what they understand, and the source material they're using is good (Bible), so just accept everything they're saying (with due discretion obviously). If the message is love then you can't go wrong because love never fails. If they try to tell you to go to church, well, consider it. Really, it might help, but otherwise, a Christians way of saying no is "I'll pray about it".

@Salvijus your point about psychedelics being dangerous is fine but I'm just saying don't condemn Leo in making that point
-
Rather than Leo has lost his light, instead his light is getting brighter and brighter! I think he should be supported. Speak good things about him. If you think you've noticed something changing well then pray for him. What is this gossip thread? God is Love and you shall love your neighbour as yourself. Like I said pray for him. You have no right to say his light is gone! That is not a joke.

Thanks for the notes @LfcCharlie4 From my experience the ego tries to subsume the awakened state. When I know of my nothingness, the "I" might've gained a new identity. It is "my" nothingess, "I" am Pure Awareness. The ego just wants a name. There aren't any names. -

Are the poems highfalutin? Should I speak in science? The power of the rhyme is, 'T organises thought. (Music to my soul, my medicine. My mirror, my reflection.) That was very helpful what I just read, Most of what I find helpful 'sfrom men that are dead! Let me try a plain voice. Okay... Hm, who knew. It's hard. I must've read myself out myself! "Philosopher, c'est apprendre à mourir" - Montaigne I'm going to try and talk normally. I learnt a new word/term today. Let me see what it helps to be careful of this...

I will teach you how to enjoy The ways I employ: Remove you and me, That should come first, And then secondly How quenching your thirst No longer concerns you, Statement of bliss! No nothing quite so impressive as this, Then it is simple, Here's how it goes, The third part which everyone knows: Love, love, love, love, love, love ...

I think the danger is a manifestation of repressed "stuff" in each of us that surface the further we progress. Shadow work basically. I think a mistake we make is we jump in to things too soon and we aren't ready for it. Some people are trying to fill holes or escape and they happen upon spiritual things, but they don't go step by step and they go without guidance. Leo's channel has a "foundations for self-actualization" playlist but will you go through that? Or just jump into his latest post? To use a biblical analogy, you need to first desire milk if you are new to spiritual things. You are still a baby. But, "solid food belongs to those who are of full age, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (Hebrews 5:14). Another example, one danger I see often here is people talking about being God. It's too soon for a lot of people to speak this way, and it stinks of ego. You must have a relationship with the divine as being something you desire, from there, you must work on dying. When your ego is gone you will join with the All, and not anytime before that. Saying you're God or believing you're God might be the thing that ruins you and probably is... (Leo has quite a popular YouTube channel and this forum is quite busy, but don't forget that it is always only a few who come to know and to see...) Talking about you're God yet you've just begun realising there's more to life than the physical? You're vulnerable like that. Demons will bully you... The truth is the same whether you're beginning or experienced, but some things belong to the experienced and some things belong to the beginner. Some of you need to join a religion and do your shadow work in a community of faith within an organised environment. We are not all mystics and yet nonduality is a mystical teaching. The greatest teachers spoke in mysteries specifically to hide the truth from those who are not at all prepared for them. We need to measure our capacities and not alone. Even people who aren't spiritual are very important to us; they're full of ego which is great, if our heads are in the clouds because of enlightenment.

@actualizing25 there's no way out -
This is beginning? it also is end, The two go together as intimate friend so why should I fret for a trend? I only resolve to be free.

Unjigorjigor replied to Matt8800's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Matt8800 thank you for your effort with this thread. I'd like to ask you to please elaborate on your distinction between the mystic and the clairvoyant. From what I've gathered and correct me if I misunderstood, the clairvoyant has a wonderful ability to interact with the spirit realm while still using the 5 senses, because they actually see things, hear things, have direct experience, while the mystic primarily goes by intuition or has an abstracted experience? I don't know if I'm making sense but I'm basing it off my understanding of how you describe how it works for you (mystic) and how it works for your wife (clairvoyant). The clairvoyant is very sensitive to the astral/subtle/energy body and the mystic has a very powerful third eye? The mystic can simply know the reality the clairvoyant experiences? I'm just throwing my musing out in question form and I'm hoping you'll be able to help me have a better understanding, I'm trying to grow as a mystic. You said you left your body and gave your wife a kiss in the other room right? Wasn't this very difficult to do as a mystic? Something like astral projection seems it would be easier for a clairvoyant than a mystic. What should mystics and clairvoyants be working on to improve their respective gifts? And to what end? How do these two types best serve the world? -

Excellent posts in this thread. "The universe is the statue of the intellect" - Proclus All forms are created by mind, and the original mind created all the various minds (or archetypes of thought), which created and create their own forms according to their free will, or spirit, which then may appear as matter. Hence all matter is intelligent, as being the appearance of mind, hence Jesus teaches us that with faith (imagination) we may speak to a mountain and it would obey. We give the idea of God when it enters our mind form, whether by the word God itself or whatever form the idea takes in the mind; in this sense we are his creators; but this idea is only an idol: "The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be named is not the eternal name..." (The word God itself is a symbol, a created substance of our own mind to represent the uncreated essence which is not named...). But the mind we use to do this is the invisible form that was given to us by the first mind or intellect which is our creator; not quite God but, shall we say, the son of God, or the mind of God. Therefore John says, "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. Light shines in darkness and the darkness does not comprehend it." Only silence is adequate for approaching the ..., and emptiness. The mind is the child of the ... , and, the ability of mind to manifest form is the affect of spirit. We are spirits, meaning motive. Meaning we can generate thought, and thought can (and will) generate form. (Be careful what you think.) Tl;dr Appearance and reality are two sides of the same coin. -
Peace I've been reading these forums for a while and I'm grateful for discovering this community. I think I've grown a lot from it. So thank you all for your contributions. I wanted to ask about apostle Paul as I've not seen anything about him here. He seems fully convinced that Jesus died for our sins. He says things like "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ who lives in me, and the life that I now I live I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law then Christ is dead in vain." He also says "As by one man sin came into the world, and death by sin; so death passed onto all men for that all have sinned..." and "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." And one more, "if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Okay so, how could this be? This is also the teaching he died for, and he spread his belief very effectively. When I read his letters, I see that he is wise. I enjoy his first letter to Corinth and seeing how he deals with the issues that come up there. When I ask how could this be I mean, why is insisting on a lamb sacrifice philosophy? Is he simply implanting Judaism into the new movement that began around the man Jesus so as to keep its spirit alive? He was a radical pharisee, and persecuted the church initially until he had a conversion on the road to Damascus. His Jesus isn't the enlightened man who is like the Buddha before him, or Lord Krishna, who ultimately has the same message as these; he makes Jesus our saviour and says a confession with the mouth is for salvation. Salvation from the wrath of God which is his righteous anger against our sin, which we have because of our sinful nature, which we have because of Adam who first sinned. This is not nonduality, which makes me sad, it also implies the fruit was real and literal and that man's condition is fallen until he is redeemed and the Holy Spirit enters him; which is another entity outside of us who must fill us. These ideas are well expressed by him and his letters have the tone of sincerity and reason as far as I can tell, but it also puts him at odds with a lot of spirituality from other systems, whereas I find that with almost all other systems nonduality is the principal underlying whatever else is being said. I struggle to imagine that he of all the wise men has it right and therefore it will in fact come down to a judgment day where all that counts is if you gave your life to Lord Jesus and accepted his grace by faith: "for you are saved by grace through faith, and that not of yourselves it is a gift from God, not of works lest any man should boast." What are your thoughts?

@Highest I appreciate your approach and somehow when I read your posts I feel restful inside, it's probably the effect of your poetry. I can't help being a rationalist though, or a sceptic, I've tried. I'm a philosopher and a mystic. But your style is great so thank you. It totally bypasses my intellect. -

@Angelite I have in that I've read the Qur'an, but I don't recall what is in that chapter precisely. I'll be reading the Qur'an again in the beginning of next year.
