  1. first of all don't be identified with your ego-mind, "you" are not that which doesn't like you not being lost in thoughts 24/7. and also there can't be a single moment which you are not in the present moment. you are always in the NOW. Mind likes to distract you from your true nature all the time! because hey, you are the source of your mind and everything else, what would happen to your ego-mind if you stay too long in the Now being aware that you are aware of all THIS?! the identification with your ego-mind would be break and the mind would dissolve in it's source! it's as simple as that! everything that "you" do is an attempt to distract "you" from the present moment, the light behind all you experience which is actually you! you are pure existence, you are even when mind is no mind! you should see with a full realization for yourself how ego-mind manages survive This.
  2. @Phrenic I've sent you a pm! Please check your inbox!
  3. I actually emailed them for Sadhguru's exclusive videos but they directed me to Inner Engineering program! Should you participate in this program before being able to watch exclusive stuff? I'm really not interested in this program since i feel its mostly for beginners. I wish i could have access to exclusive videos without attaining to that program first. Thanks but unfortunately there's no Isha center in my country, i wish i could learn some of these techniques somewhere online.
  4. Sadhguru often mentions "do nothing" meditation which you just sit and drop all mental and physical activities. If you can do this you absolutely don't need anything else to grow in your spiritual path! That's what Osho says about meditation too. And what I'm trying to say is that if you are like me who cannot travel around the world and reach India to get a guru, your don't actually need to! All you have to do is start practicing simple Kriya Yoga techniques which everyone know about and still your mind and then practise "do nothing" or being aware of awarenesses. That's it! But you need to properly learn and understand the Kriya techniques with as much detail as possible! And never burn out your energy system, often have some breaks and let the system recover and rest if you feel you need to and then continue when you feel ready again.
  5. Presence of a realized guru will have a very strong impact on the student's energy system and it's really valuable thing, also good for staying motivated since you can easily lose motivation after some time. but you should invest a little bit of time figuring out which guru is the right guru for you, i recommend Santata Gamanas Kriya Yoga Exposed book which can help you a lot in this.
  6. According to Ramana Maharshi's teaching Ego is "I" thoughts, some examples: I'm this or that ( body or mind), I want to become healthy, I want to become a powerful full yogi and not a weak yogi, I want to become sexy, I want a hot witch girl friend, I want to become a millionaire, I want to explore other dimensions of life, I want to understand how creation works, I want to experience life beyond current realized dimension, and or manipulate reality, So he teaches to just seek the source of the thoughts which is "I", and keep your awareness on "I-I" eventually you'll come to realize your true nature. So as long as "you" have fun exploring, understanding, enjoying higher conscious states there's still "you" and the external world apart from you. You cannot the ability to understand or think of your desires of any kind ( even spiritual desires) without an ego-mind. So that's how this whole thing just doesn't make sense to me. "Understanding is the greatest illusion" -Buddha
  7. I've heard that a lot too from him in vids.
  8. But if you become a realized being like Ramana Maharshi, do you still retain certain egotistic preferences to live in a specific styles or conditions like "powerfully" also after you kill your ego? It's just doesn't make sense.
  9. @GreenWoods maybe it can be used to compare your regular meditation brain waves with waves it captures when you are about to sleep (if you can go to sleep with it) and see if you can get any close to it in your meditations? To check your progress in sleep yoga.
  10. @Chi_ interesting, thank you for sharing this! Did you learn any techniques from him so that you can induce Samadhi state ( any type of Samadhi) at will? Or can you control your energy? Having practised Kriya Yoga myself for almost a year, i feel great progress in the amount of energy i can feel and move throughout my body and big transformations in general by doing simple pranayama practises and meditations everyone know about in the Kriya Yoga thread so I'm trying to figure out if one really needs a physical guru! Yes gurus can manipulate your energy bring all kinds of higher conscious states, or maybe clear your energy pathways, but that's something you can and should do for yourself with enough practice really! Psychedelics can also do so much job in clearing and opening energy centers too! Very good catalysts! But Sadhguru is against all these and completely rejects the idea of practicing Yoga techniques with help of books all by yourself why? Also against psychedelics!
  11. Yes, but there's huge difference actually, when you surrender controlling and just "be", you'll come to realize that no matter what, there's always inherent peace within "you", and peace is actually "your" true nature, and so the sufferings ends! unnecessary suffering will come to end! And "you" actually did nothing to end it!
  12. Hey guys, recently Sadhguru started initiating people online! So he does the transmission job without even touching the person! What's your thoughts into this? Has anybody attained to his online initiation program? And if so how was the experience for you?
  13. See, did you ever experienced any "ego" ?, don't assume that there's two selves, "ego" and "you" which is false, you only experience thoughts, but how much you identify yourself with thoughts? The level of identification you have with your thoughts, or in another words, the ammount of attention you give to your thoughts, shows how powerful your "ego" is that's it! Don't be so interested in your thoughts, then you are fine. But never think there's two selves which is false!
  14. If anybody ever in this forum ever been in Sadhguru's presence or even participated in his medium to advanced programs, it would be awesome to hear your experience! So please share it with us.
  15. Isn't the Kriya Yoga available online for public, the same Lahiri Mahasaya's Kriya techniques? And if so you claim the Yoga Sadhguru teaches is even more powerful or potent than Kriya Yoga? How do you know this? Lahiri Mahasaya said that the Kriya Yoga is airplane route to God. So who do you claim such things about Sadhguru's teachings?
  16. "Heeeeey this is not Leo, for actualized.org"
  17. So why even taking about your spiritual powers, siddhis to people? Maybe this is the way of keeping ordinary man stay motivated on his path? I've heard Sadhguru saying there's so many practitioners with many spiritual powers in his yoga center. I'm trying to understand how Sadhguru works.
  18. I appreciate his wisdom and knowledge and i definitely don't think he is fraud. I just feel and smell his strong ego too which i wish there wasn't. But i hope I'm wrong.
  19. @James123 "you" are not there yet not even close, stop all these mental masturbations and learn to sit in silence being at peace.
  20. Actions doesn't mean ego, doings just happens without any identifications, ego is i thoughts. I am who is the doer thought is gone when there's no more ego. If you're interested read talks with Ramana Maharshi book.
  21. That's not true really, read about Ramana Maharshi and you'll come to see the difference between being truly awake and ego-mind free versus being egotistic, narcissistic. I just feel like Sadhguru got too much to say about himself, his ego doesn't seems to be that small.
  22. What's the point of saying all this to ordinary people? I'm this and that i can do this shit that shit, why really why? Is Sadhguru in need of people worshipping him? I just don't understand, i always feel something is wrong about Sadhguru even though i appreciate his wisdom and knowledge.
  23. @James123 Just silence your mind, and enjoy the peace, everything will be fine!
  24. You be at peace, let people take care of themselves! Why do you worry? You cannot worry about something which doesn't exist can you?
