@Danioover9000 Are you familiar with work of William Buhlman regarding Astral Projection? There's a powerful affirmation called "Higher Self Now" introduced by him (there's also a book with the same title from him) which can immediatly lead to some higher state of consciousness if one use it in the astral planes. I haven't tried it yet, if it's easy for you to project I'd say definitely try it (if you already haven't tried it) I'd be happy to read about your experience later

an interesting story about Swami Ganapati Saraswati: it's not the supernatural abilities of these beings which are the most interesting thing for me, but the actual evolution of them through the science of yoga which also unimagines any rules or limitations for them.

Awesome! ? Or maybe "magic" is actually true and is a science of it's own, maybe we can actually evolve our consciousness with the science of Yoga to reach some God-consciousness level. I don't see any "limitations" in the evolution of consciousness. because my whole materialistic paradigm shattered a long time ago with my experiences with Kriya Yoga. this is because you are still highly stuck in your materialistic paradigm of your mind. I strongly feel like I'm having a conversation with a materialist, scientific-minded person! ?

Kriya Yoga is a science. and yes it's very true an advanced yogi is not a human being anymore. again please go do research and study for yourself, and then comeback and let me know if you still disagree with me about the evolution of these beings which they literally become a very fucking advanced being. they can do stuff beyond your imaginations. changing the brain's neurochemistry at will is literally nothing for such advanced beings. Yogananda could do it simply just by looking into your eyes. there's lots of lots of books and articles about it. just to get started this is how you evolve by the scientific approaches of Kriya Yoga: I'd recommend the book "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda and there's also a movie about Yogananda's life which I highly recommend to watch Leo posted about it some fucking years ago it was one of his very first posts Maybe we are "human", but we have the science in our hands to evolve dramatically, unimaginably.

We don't know shit actually, but the most interesting thing to me is just the natural capability of the brain to induce an NDE experience with whatever chemical it releases at the event of death. Hacking the brain to unlock the ability to induce it at will would be very interesting subject to study.

@BipolarGrowth Thanks! -
I've read about it a long time ago, but I just quickly googled and found these two links for you, hope it helps. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/06/190627113951.htm https://www.psypost.org/2019/07/study-provides-evidence-that-dmt-is-produced-naturally-from-neurons-in-the-mammalian-brain-54051

Again it's just matter of energetically charge it enough to be able to do this. then it can produce enough DMT for a breakthrough trip (please do research on Kriya Yoga and Kundalini yoga). also there's studies which shows that pineal gland produce massive amount of DMT at the time of physical death (I'm talking about undeveloped ones thou). I totally understand what you are talking about bro, but again I feel like you are totally underestimating the power of these practices, definitely on a normal body conditions you are right but these practices specially Kriya Yoga literally changes the whole system specially brain's neurochemistry. this quote is from Yogananda's website: definitely there's a huge physiological change in the system happening by these practices that makes such evolution possible right? Talking about my own experience, I get to a level just in 1 year of not even with constant regular practises which I don't even need to do anything to everytime awaken my energy to then energize my spinal cords with it, the highly intelligent energy automatically are working on it 24/7. That's how powerful Kriya Yoga is. But I'm not sure maybe I still need to practise the Kriyas, I don't know any genuine Kriya Yoga guru which i could check my progress with. No I don't microdose it, but my Ajna chakra's energetic activities causes that (there's a connection between this chakra and pineal gland), and of course I know it by the effects of it. I understand you but again these yogic practices literally change every cell in your body. if you are interested please do a lot of research on Kriya Yoga and kundalini.

Are you telling me that it's literally not possible or just takes work and practice to make it happen? Obviously it's not gonna happen overnight, That's why yogis spend years practising. I don't know how much experience you have with yoga and meditation, but at my current level it's pre much possible (I'm always on low doses of DMT, I become super sensitive to psychedelics, even 1 grams of shrooms can produce an intense trip for me), I no longer can see any ground in reality, I see endless possibilities if you just throw away all the limiting beliefs and be fucking open minded enough to put in the work. Not need to mention that there are thousands of yogis and mystics in the history who did it. Psychedelics can be a great aid for sure, but eventually you wanna reach a level which you no longer need any substances to access some fucking high state of consciousness. To me every effort and action towards this goal is absolutely worth it. I see nothing else more important to do in life than working on your hardwares to eventually reach those levels.
-
Why not gonna happen? "Brain" is capable of producing DMT via pineal gland, it's all about constantly energizing this gland by certain yogic practices and that leads to significant development of this gland that eventually can produce enough DMT necessary for a breakthrough trip at will. I'm pretty sure psychedelics can also be a great help in this process.

@BipolarGrowth how tolerance buildup works in THC? I have very little experience with weed but these days 1 gram lemon tek is intense as fuck for me, I cant walk or even open my eyes during the trip on this dose. My next trip i know I wouldn't go for lemon tek again. Should i go for weed? -

By aiding you on the process of opening & clearing energetic pathways and energy centers known as chakras. -

@Fran11 great idea! But is there a possibility of the body building up tolerance as the result of microdosing for that long period of time? Then I guess the tolerance reset would take a lot longer necessary for an intense trip. I'm thinking about mushroom microdosing. -

ahh I just referred to the stuff you shared here! I haven't experienced any verbal communication with any beings in my meditations yet. my peak experience with meditation is love, peace and a deep sense of connection to the source. I wish I could have verbalized communication too, but it's still out of my abilities. Thanks mate, definitely will do so. -

That's the way to go! ? I don't think too much about these stuff too, But still it's my heart's desire to have a spirit guide ? -
TheSelf replied to Fran11's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Damn man, same here. Sometimes I wish I had a physical guru or a spirit guide which I could ask a lot of questions regarding my experiences.. I know some people here can access to such beings or even have a friendship with them, I don't know the procedure to make such connections. I wish somebody share an in-depth guide regarding this topic. -

@Fran11 I often hear cracking and popping noises from walls, ceiling and objects when I'm deep in meditation, these days I'm used to it, but sometimes a big cracking sound from ceiling and walls causes me to snap out of meditation which is really really disappointing and at the same time scary since the intensity increases as I go deeper in my meditation and it gets to the point which I almost feel like It's really safer to stop meditation to not cause some serious damage to the house lol Its really as crazy as it sounds and I did investigate into this actually but still I haven't found any explanation for this phenomena. Maybe its a siddhi or something I've achieved but its totally out of my control. -

You can pick any objects for your meditation and fix your mind on it and it'll definitely work and you'll see results by practice, but it's a different story when it comes to sacred syllables mantras which you want them have a special effect on you, this need proper initiation. this is from the book Talks with Ramana Maharshi: Talk 8. “Can anyone get any benefit by repeating sacred syllables (mantras) picked up casually? M.: “No. He must be competent and initiated in such mantras.” Maharshi illustrated this by the following story: A King visited 2Talks with Sri Ramana Maharshi his Premier in his residence. There he was told that the Premier was engaged in repetition of sacred syllables (japa). The King waited for him and, on meeting him, asked what the japa was. The Premier said that it was the holiest of all, Gayatri. The King desired to be initiated by the Premier. But the Premier confessed his inability to initiate him. Therefore the King learned it from someone else, and meeting the Minister later he repeated the Gayatri and wanted to know if it was right. The Minister said that the mantra was correct, but it was not proper for him to say it. When pressed for an explanation, the Minister called to a page close by and ordered him to take hold of the King. The order was not obeyed. The order was often repeated, and still not obeyed. The King flew into a rage and ordered the same man to hold the Minister, and it was immediately done. The Minister laughed and said that the incident was the explanation required by the King. “How?” asked the King. The Minister replied, “The order was the same and the executor also, but the authority was different. When I ordered, the effect was nil, whereas, when you ordered, there was immediate effect. Similarly with mantras.” -

it's important if a real guru initiate you, but most of the TM teachers are just simple teachers. -

So "you" is the main hindrance to reach higher state of consciousness, if you can focus on something either a mantra or your breath or whatever so intensely that you kinda lose yourself into it (no more I thoughts), the gates will open for you. -
TheSelf replied to bazera's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
When your mind focus on something long enough like a mantra, "you" will slowly fadeaway also along with other thoughts, when this finally start to happen after a lot of practice, you'll gradually reach a higher state of consciousness. -
TheSelf replied to bazera's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You should be initiated to a mantra for it to work on you as far as I know, yes, but I don't know how a basic meditation teacher(not a guru) like all Transcendental Meditation teachers can initiate people? Sooo I guess I'd not take this Transcendental Meditation thing seriously. -
