  1. @Husseinisdoingfine yes ive read the post but you can still go to a party anywhere else. So whats the actual thing that keeps you from going to partys?
  2. What stops you from not dating now and going to parties? Can you do a masters degree in an other college? Can you find a peer to go to the parties with? Are you scared of rejection when dating or making new friends?
  3. You dont have to take it forever. Usually its a few years than you slowly taking it off. Its like if you have any other illness medication will help you. Antidepressants are not that deep just constantly talk with your psychiatrist and if you have any side effects then tell him. Just keep on doing therapy and self-help. Its the little nuggets and aha-moments that will make you feel better
  4. There are so many traps here. This work is meant to be done for years and years. Philosophy and spirituality is bad for average people. Its just makes you question a lot of things, and if you dont have a disciplined mind then you are f*cked. The more i watch Leo the more i realize how stupid i am and how easy it is to deceive myself. I dont know nothing. Im 17, i should be doing material things, do "stupid" things and fix my material life. I shouldnt do philosophy. In the way i do it its not healthy and its just masturbation. I think spirituality, philosophy should be done after 40, but i may be wrong. What is your opinion?
  5. I think self-help, doing psychology and philosophy is making me depressed sometimes. Everyday there are new videos of self-help youtubers. I mean whats the new idea? F.e. Infinite waters always releases new videos almost everyday. Other youtubers say you gotta do this and that to be happy. Read more books etc. I think most people should just eat healthy, sleep well, work, enjoy life, read books sometimes, be grateful. I have a journal, there are lots of ideas there. I read couple ones but what ive realized is that sometimes i should just go watch youtube or watch sport or go bycicle. A mind cant even memorize a lot of thoughts, u should just understand them and generally ur life will improve just a little. What do you think?

  9. @integral ive watched the episodes back in the day but still didnt understand it. Theres a question. An answer or thoughts arrives. How can i know its not just me building things up? How do i know im not just speculating? I ask more questions but my mind always give answers. What else can it do?

  11. How bad is alcohol? Im on school trip and it left me to be more curious how does a person should react to alcohol. How many bad effects are there, is it worth it in the end, should i drink with my friend? How does it affect mental health? How should i try out alcohol, what should i drink first to get a taste? What are your experiences with alcohol?
  12. There are thousands of mistakes a person can do when thinking, doing philosophy. There are traps i do daily which im not even aware. You too make mistakes. Is there a practical list somewhere mentioning the most common mistakes? What do you think?

  14. @Someone here i see, thank you. I go to psychiatry regularly. So u shouldnt accept depression, accept suffering fully? Isnt that the good thing to do?
  15. @ivankiss I dont get what you mean. There are lots of ways i can interpret that. @Someone here If i know you well, u had been diagnosed with depression. Whats your experience with accepting suffering?
  16. @LfcCharlie4 imo Most people are fine. They are not depressed. Yes lots of them do these stuff but they are not depressed. There would be so much more people diagnosed with depression and committing suicide. Depression is not caused by these things but rather add up over. Its weird to me how some people in self-help say that average persons life is worse. Or something around that. F.e. Hamza a self help youtuber always represents the average person as Jeffrey. Sometimes(or most of the times) he represents it with a depressed person. While most people are fine u know, no?
  17. Its about understanding stuff. Something will stick in ur brain. Even from 100% lets say 10%. I just skim through stuff, think about what i need f.e. idea, whats important from idea then im done. I have bad memory but i bet everybody forgets most of the ideas read from the book. Thinking for yourself, contemplation imo just makes better connections in ur brain. But ultimately the good stuff is u feed ur unconscious. The more u learn, the more it will stick im ur brain(even if its few ideas)
  18. Feel free to describe it in any kind of way. How does it feel? How do you feel in a day? How it feels when you laugh? It feels good but how can you explain it more? How do you feel while you socialize? How do you feel when its christmas? These are just few questions or examples
  19. @Lila9 yes i agree. Depression means a lot of things, and lots of things can cause it. For me personally i think its caused by bad brain chemistry. Other things play a role of course and i got things i know in order. Ive gone to psychologist for months and realized its not important for me. Ive been on fluoxetine it helps a little bit but i do think theres a better one for my situation
  20. @Lila9 im not that depressed im feeling good, i still experience some levels of depression. I think i should see more colourful, have more excitement. Also i think for me depression means not enough neurotransmitters in the brain. Being more extrovert, socializing more easily.
  21. @John Paul @Someone here i dont think so. Its not big. I mean all of those things getting a hobby or getting a gf etc etc. not that big @Cathal im openminded but i think i shouldnt do this. I cant just let go, im not on that level. @Richard Purdy yes i like that idea. Through few months it was easier to cope while using this idea. I should feel this feeling but overtime i should change. I shouldnt be depressed for a long time, no?
  22. More stage orange stuff or basics self-help stuff and uploading these vids more frequently.
  23. I was just thinking about how there are so smart people at my age and what actually causes that? Like at school and also i've read an article how many people go to abroad from my country into really famous colleges. F.e. its weird to me how people can learn engineering or medicine around my age. Memorize, understand these stuff. These students are not necessarily conscious. I know consciousness and being smart like this example doesnt correlate to each other but what do you think? Lot of part depends on genetics i guess.
  24. I thought to myself there are lots of people who are depressed, sometimes i told myself most people are depressed. But they are not. Stats say 5% of the world population is depressed. At the psychiatry too there isnt lot of peers among my age. Im 17 and at the psychiatry there isnt lot of people at all. Its a weird thought and it should not happen but its just weird to me how no students commits suicide. Not because school is stressful or any of that. (I actually like school btw). But rather because of depression itself.
  25. Its not a big thing i think. Work isnt that bad. Its not that i accepted being a slave but rather its not that big thing. Its needed to keep up this kind of world we live in. Sure it could be better i mean how jobs and the world built up but its whatever. Keep going, keep learning. Create businesses so you create more value.
