i really liked what he said about the possibility that others exist beyond our direct experience. i can embrace this possibility easily as i'm open to 'not knowing'. perhaps essentially we can't really know and while we can't know we need to swim in the vast waters of 'not knowing'. but then how existential aloneness manifest on the spiritual journey? what does Ken Wilber meant by saying that spirituality is going from alone to Alone? if it isn't solipsistic aloneness, then what kind of existential aloneness it is? -

it's just his way to interpreting his reality. just another perspective. personally, i don't relate with the guy. he sounds too dense for my taste. -
exactly! it's such a misunderstanding to think that liver STORES toxins.

why would you do it every morning? it's just sounds excessive af. don't make it a habit, use it with the purpose, know and feel when you needed it. What? this such a contradiction you just said. you want to use dmt for integrating, hence finding balance. but you phrase it as dmt may be a hindrance to your balance but because you're a 'master', dmt won't throw you off your balance. though i agree with what you said about healthy body & mind as a foundation for getting into dmt. something along those lines. -

Great book. Read it twice. Highly recommended. I love how he explained the difference between conventional therapy that deals with ego and how it gets you nowhere, and letting go method which is true way to spirituality and transformation. -
I've reduced to smoking weed only once a month or even less and this is the sweet spot for me. weed raises my thoughts but they get interrupted and when I'm on the wave of some deep idea or insightful questioning, i usually don't get far as it gets interrupted and i forget what i've been thinking just a second ago. basically, it's no good for contemplation and although i get some insights when smoking, it's not useful for serious spiritual work. it's only nice to chill and relax with a good company on occasion. and definitely, not for a daily or any type of frequent use. a lot of young people smoke and get hooked on it, it'll become a problem in the future for a lot of people, i think. especially when it comes to street weed which is sprayed and highly highly addictive. it messes with people's minds and can become a real issue. perhaps, it would be good to really question why do you smoke weed at all; maybe you're just diluting yourself thinking it gives you any benefits at all and it's just another way to hide from what is.

In my view, Elon is a super rich capitalist who plays with his rockets and cars without having a genuine and uncorrupted vision to solve deep societal problems. i'm not denying - he's contributing to the technological advancements but his approach is still shallow/narrow and it lacks profundity. and it is because he has too big ego and no selflessness which is fundamental in changing the paradigms. and changing paradigms is what's solves those deep rooted issues we face. Btw, who cares what Time magazine says, anyway. -

he's right advocating that pushing physically helps with pushing mentally. for example, I can work better and longer after almost a year doing daily cold showers or going to a gym when not feeling like it or when it's cold and windy outside. physical and mental are deeply connected; physical challenge translates to the mind in a powerful way.

i agree about the importance of taking a leap and stepping out of your comfort zone; it requires quite a bit of introspection and loads of trial and error to find that sweet spot where you both accept yourself but also push forwards without having ego backlashes. it's a delicate balance. -

me personally, I don't look at my ego as 'lower' , I've rather adapted archetypal meanings to it, for example, some aspect of me that holds me back in some way, I call it my sister or daughter or friend who needs absolute acceptance, love and acknowledgement. I would be very kind and understanding to that aspect of myself and build trust, negotiate and guide; and this actually is a remedy from ego backlash. This is also the way to integrate your shadows. Love really works so no more pushing and bullying! hahaha -
I'm growing and changing constantly. And the more i do so the more I get to see not only my own bullshit but other people's too. I mean, people are full of shit and I feel strong aversion to some of my family members and people I hang out with. I can't hang out with them anymore and I don't want to come across them either. Whilst the aversion is not the state I want to be in, it is the stage i have to go through. My life is getting loner and loner and that's a good thing because I'm a Wise woman and I don't hang out with fools. Have a wonderful day everyone!

that's very unwise thing to do; she'll come back all pissed and bite you in the ass. that's called ego backlash haha -

i don't see why it is sad at all -
as long as you live as part of a society you'll be triggered and have preferences and biases. Yeh, unfortunately being a human is not being a godlike 24/7. seeing everything as perfect is a very good aspiration indeed, and that's why we're on the spiritual journey, and yet in life, there are low and high stuff/ quality of ppl and we've been always relating to / picking / choosing one or the other. As a side note, i've noticed that a lot of times on this forum people are very quick to bring some lofty philosophical ideas, but suck at pragmatism and real life situations.
