last year i fasted for five days while praying ''God I choose your Presence and I chose your Love' I then took lsd and had ego loss, very powerful awakening. I had never ever had ego loss on merely two tabs before but because i added fasting and this prayer with deep emotion and willingness to surrender, this what happend. this awakening was HUGE in my development. i like to see prayer as strong intension with deep emotion.

Catherine of Genoa, an Italian mystic, advanced a transpersonal theory that a person could transcend the ego simply by eliminating the first-person-singular pronoun from his/her speech (Bynum, 1987). Has anyone heard about this theory? I mean most of us know that language is extremely limited and sometimes can even be a hindrance to spirituality; however, I wanna see what you have to say and your thoughts about how it could be practiced? It surely would be nearly impossible to communicate with others without using first-person-singular pronoun; but how inner talk could be changed? Thanks

To not believe in arising thoughts and desires is a game changer. you could sit or go around your day simply seeing thoughts appearing and disappearing, no problem. Other thoughts come with strong emotions. the solution to this would be to surrender to emotion and allow yourself to experience it. sometimes merely an intention to do so wipes away that strong feeling and associated thought; sometimes it may take more than one go to let go of/detach from it. Not using first-person-singular pronouns in the speech is certainly tricky unless spending time in solitude. When I use 'I' i like to always keep this conscious reminder that the 'I' is being used here; however... this is just the function of language, it does not represent the truth. i see it as a multidimensional thinking process. Desires arise.. and the question follows: 'who's desiring it? oh right, there is no one who is feeling this anticipation and desire, these are just thoughts with strong emotions. Let me run into it and experience how it feels. it'll surely passes away after i allow it to be. But who's me? am I'm going in circles? I'm those emotions and thoughts so what am I running from anyway? I'm both - emotions/thoughts and observer of them. We can't escape language completely (in the far away future i see us transcending language completely though) but imo we can use it very consciously.

i had my first shot of moderna two weeks ago. no side effects. i didn't want vaccine at all but after new restrictions have come into force, I wasn't able to travel anywhere without minimum of 10 days isolation. Hence, decided to not make my life more difficult than it already is. I would say don't overthink this. You may or may not have side effects, you wouldn't know until you do it. I hadn't got vaccine because I cared about protecting others. I did it purely for selfish reason - I want to be able to travel as freely as possible given the circumstances. I would advice this to you too. think about yourself and see if a vaccine is going to give you any benefits. if not, don't do it then. btw, moderna and pfizer are fundamentally the same; it's just that pfizer is also given to children.

Hey, just some of experiences i've been recently having.. i understand and can really see how i imagine everything that is out of my direct consciousness and how i'm Alone in this reality. i contemplate this everyday and recently smoked some 5-meo and i feel that i'm slowing starting to believe that i imagine this whole shabang, i mean reality, and that there is literally no one else but me and it's defo feels/sounds as solipsism. How can i avoid trip on this spiritual journey? i find it very hard to comprehend this dichotomy of being God/Creator but existing with others. i also sometimes feel scared. i ask myself: 'do you really want to find out what's Truth?' 'do you really understand where are you getting yourself into?' but despite this deep existential fear, i say 100% yes because i can't imagine stopping or going back. i'm sucked in. however, fear exists, therefore, i'm being very gentle with my use of psychedelics and try to take a good care of grounding myself with good health and career/life purpose. i feel as i'm learning to be less critical to others and admit that i don't really know how they feel.. and even if i get a good glimpse of their experience and psychology, to criticise someone feels kind of useless.. i've started to prefer a position of 'not knowing' rather than wanting to know and be right. when it comes to people that are very close in my life, i want to change and manipulate less. i feel pain of some people i love and i think i know what could be better for them and try to play some tricks or say things to change their feelings and actions. but recently i drop all of that and embrace that pain and other emotions i think they feel. i mean i can't be sure what they really feel, it's all my imagining. we never feel what others feel, we only imagine it. there are no 'their' feelings, it's all me and mine. and that tells me that others don't exist and this would be solipsism. do you see how i'm confused?

understanding connects me with those things i understand. when i understand things fall into places. understanding grounds me. but i can also accept not knowing. i'm not gonna go hit my head into wall, i think i can relax and allow this puzzle to resolve when the times comes... i can also see how my thinking and trying to understand tend to form into a belief... it feels more stable to form a belief that keep on questioning.
