I remember after I had a massive kundalini awakening (it happened on a normal day without psychedelics 6 months after having 2cb induced ego-death), I thought I had a mission to change the world. I had all these ideas as being a superior human being, special, unique, sent here on earth to do grand transformational things that I alone could do. Now 5 years later, yes, I'm more advanced on some things than others, but I'm still in some areas sorting my basic life. Yet, the more I dive deep into the spiritual practices the more my ego-becomes smaller and humbler. It takes time, years, to integrate profound awakenings. I think and hope this grandiose phase for Conn will fade away in due time. -

I burn palo santo wood at home. I prefer it over incense and oils because it smells absolutely natural. Like really sweet wood. It just creates a nice home atmosphere. Some yoga teachers burn before a class to make it smell nice too. I don't see anything spiritual about it. it just a nice touch to your environment by using clean and natural sources. It's normal for people who are into spirituality use more natural stuff / be more minimalistic and the like -
I've met this woman, from Brazil, she is over 30. On the spiral, she is ORANGE/GREEN. Before, she was doing LSD very week and also did 10 Ayahuasca ceremonies. 5 of them were very special in the proper retreats in Brazil. I asked her what insights she has got from her trips... she didn't have much to say but I insisted to find out because I thought she must have some profound realisations - it's 10 Ayahuasca ceremonies! So I asked her again: maybe you understood something insightful about yourself, the reality, your mind, etc...? but she said she did not have any insights like this!!! I still find it hard to understand how it's possible? What do you guys think? Psychedelics is not enough? What's missing? the intention to understand? the lack of understanding that it's actually possible to know deep truths?

That's a great video! thanks for sharing. Mckenna is saying that people don't take trips seriously and don't pay attention because they give themselves permission to ignore is as 'just' a trip... it's just a trip it's not real anyway. Hence it presents people from seeing some truths in their psychedelics experices. Maybe she misunderstood the question. I can't be sure. -

@Gesundheit I wouldn't say that she left speechless overwhelmed by the wisdom and that she couldn't even say a word. Quite the contrary, she was pretty blank and showed no inspiration for the topic. For example, when I meet people who can actually have had some spiritual experience and we start talking I see the spark and joy in their eyes. The same goes with me, I get excited to meet people like this which is very rare, unfortunately. It seems people are lacking deep understanding of anything. However, I don't want to make conclusions here. I can't be sure about her experiences and understandings. In fact, the conversation wasn't very long anyway. But also because she showed no interest in it. -

Great idea about asking her what she loves - I'll. thanks! -

I'm very surprised as well. When we talked I actually said: but the whole point in doing psychedelics is to understand about yourself? She looked at me clueless. I then added: it's about dissolving your ego and attachments. however, she didn't add anything on it. I mentioned 5-meo but she didn't hear of it. We live in the same house now so I'll have more chances to get to know her and maybe understand her perspective. -
I'm reading this book 1000: The Levels of Consciousness and a Map of the Stages of Awakening for Spiritual Seekers and Teachers. It says that the law of attraction is absurd as we can't order the universe around. And this realisation comes as we awaken deeper and deeper. Do you agree? What's your experience with LOA? Bth, it's a great book. Another map to help you along your spiritual journey and it assists in filtering spiritual teachers and some low-quality teachings. Highly recommended. But don't leave until you tell me about LOA?! I'm very disappointed with my efforts to attract a job I wanted.

How is it more nuanced? Maybe it takes much more practice e.g. visualisation, and actual disciplined work. However, LOA is claimed to be easy peasy. No work just believe. I think that LOA doesn't work because it is based on egoic needs. Attract wealth and the like. I feel like the less I accept from life and the more I surrender to whatever is, the more I gain. very counterintuitive. -
Intraplanetary replied to Intraplanetary's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Can you explain it? I think LOA and randomness are different. LOA is an intentional mind and thought control dubbed with faith. Whereas chance and randomness are not intentional. No one is going around believing in the Law of randomness? -

Hi folks I would really appreciate your help. I'm applying for a job at the ENGIE energy consultancy. https://www.engie.com/en/group/our-vision/our-strategy I'm an avid learner of the spiral dynamics. I surely watched Leo's videos and have few books on the subject. However, I've never tried to assess the organisation in trying to finding out where it's whirling in the spiral. Could you please help me out? How would you go about this? And what are your opinions about ENGIE's spiral position? Cheers!

Hey Tell what you think of these practices and what you tried yourself? I feel I'm all over the place, lost in reading and trying something but then discovering something else and going in circles, never establishing a focus. I want to pick one school and dedicate at least 6 months to a year 1. I'll do a personality test also. I think it may help to choose more wisely?

Agree. I think it's best to explore a variety of techniques and then pick what works for you. I'm reading about Nondual Saiva Tantra tradition and it sounds amazing. It doesn't dispassion body and worldly life but teachers to embrace it as devive phenomenon. It even encourages to live in prosperity while at the same time reaching the enlightenment. It's very different from most of the eastern teachings. Also, Tantra, in general, has been badly misunderstood in the west as something to do with sexuality when in fact it's not. Ah well... all good stuff get perverted and distorted by the westerners. -

I never said that eating plants is bad. It's good for many people as much as animal-based products. Everyone is different and I don't judge anyone for their choice. From the Absolute perspective, there are no hierarchies. All creation is as God as it gets, but in the world, we definitely have hierarchies and as the apex creatures we get to make our own rules for living and thriving. We also need balance and complexity, not black and white thinking or judging one another. Sorry, I didn't want to offend you. Of course, I don't know you. But you coming up with the examples as raping a girl in the context of talking about animal welfare it really is a weird ass thing Too much drama, too much biased emotion -

I'm not attacking, I'm laughing You don't have good enough point to be taken seriously anyway We need to have optimal health, hence yes we need meat. If you want barely survive good luck eating plant foods -

You're freaking bonkers. You sound super childish like a teenage boy who doesn't know life and coming with some weird ass examples sorry no offence but I'm here giving you realistic alternatives about animal welfare and you're thinking about raping a girl -

Allowing animals to live on pasture as part of natural environmental cycles. And killing them quickly. For example, hunters shoot wild animals to the heart. It's very quick death and least painless. Slaughterhouses should be designed in such a way that causes the lease stress to animals. I know many farms that practise regenerative agriculture. In one of them in the UK, It even restored the lost species!! because it helped to restore the fertility of the soil, flora and fauna. Vegans only consider a small handful of animals (cows, pigs, goats chickens) while at the same time they exclude hundreds if not thousands of others. It amazes me still how people don't see their myopic view on the issue. Veganism is based on so much emotion and it becomes an attachment. Why their hearts don't bleed about other things such as not so cute small animals or people who suffer from autoimmune disease and can't eat fibre, etc, etc it appears very very biased. But I don't judge. It's normal to be stuck in one worldview and claim is the best way. -

This is a great story by sadguru. It illustrates how vegans who think that their way is superior and more moral are so so wrong... To call meat-eater or farmer or hunter morally wrong is prejudice and ignorance. It can also be said that animals can be raised and killed ethically and our solution to end animal cruelty and help the environment is through holistic regenerative agriculture. I hope you can learn something from this timeless wisdom: -
Hey folks I've been on the meat-based diet for around 2 months and have been experiencing the most elevated consciousness and clarity. Good mood, calmness and positivity is over the roof. Also, it completed killed my emotional eating and got me back into feeling and responding to hunger and satiation cues. I eat nose-to-tail mostly lamb and beef and occasionally chicken and pork. Occasionally seafood and loads of eggs. I also buy a piece of local seasonal organic fruit when I visit my local farmers market. Feeling tired and anxious? I've got a solution for you my friend: eat 100g of grass-fed beef liver. Thank me later. Those who say that eating meat is bad got it all wrong and should go do some research. Veganism is evolutionary inconsistent and bad for the environment. We need more ruminant animals grazing on on the grass to support the eco-system. Yes, I agree that factory farming is absolutely cruel and unethical but vegans who claim they are environmentally aware are not true to themselves. Years ago I was vegan for 8 months and as many others I was buying various fruits, nuts etc from thousand miles away and required thousands of unsustainable hours of transportation. Also, vegan foods require agricultural means that destroys soil and small animals and their habitats. I notice that vegans claim to be caring for animals but mostly for cows, pigs, dogs but what about hundreds of other small animals that are not so cute, being killed for growing crops to make your soy cheese? It's double standards. I'm not blaming here. I know we all try to do our best. But please let's be more open-minded to other possibilities. Meat is sacred food. It provides us with the optimal health both physical and mental, however, we forgot where we've been coming from. Peace.

This is informative. As far as I can tell I could fit bhakti yoga practice very well. 4 types of yoga for 4 aspects These are the only four realities in your life: body, mind, emotion, and energy. Whatever you wish to do with yourself, it must be on these four levels. Whatever you wish to do, you can only do it with your body, your mind, your emotions or your energy. If you use your emotions and try to reach the ultimate, we call this bhakti yoga. That means the path of devotion. If you use your intelligence and try to reach the ultimate, we call this gnana yoga. That means the path of intelligence. If you use your body, or physical action to reach the ultimate, we call this karma yoga. That means the path of action. If you transform your energies and try to reach the ultimate, we call this kriya yoga. That means internal action. source: https://isha.sadhguru.org/yoga/new-to-yoga/types-of-yoga/
