  5. @flowboy thank you. super informative
  6. So. It's a good post. Thank you a lot for writing it. There is definitely a victim part to feeling gaslighted. Because - in order for "someone" to "gaslight" "you" you have to give up power and responsibility. Also, the context from which the term originates will make this truth click. On the other hand, once the victimhood is abolished and overcome, I find it an useful term to describe certain behaviours. @Razard86 Imagine someone telling you that you're unhinged, crazy or psychotic because of, for example, this post - and trying to fuck with your head. Imagine if this were someone you cared about, maybe your only confidant in the whole world. Then you believe them and sign yourself up to a nuthouse. In that case, you have been gaslit.
  7. @NoSelfSelf Life in general. I cannot think of a single field of endeavour where my results are not mediocre at best. If you mean what I would prioritise on improving, it would be - graduating, finances, finding quality male friends.
  8. @StarStruck you are literally experiencing your karma right now. he also is. understanding this will open up your heart. rejoice for his good fortune and lament for his misfortune.
  9. May your 27th spin generate a force that is impervious to these negative feelings ?
  10. Can you set a goal to let it go completely in one month? If not, what about two months? How about one year? Make it a grand event. Make it a funeral, a rebirth. Shave your head. Do something that marks you completely letting go of these 26 years. Spinning 26 times, for example. Thinking about all that theorising. One mistake a year, one mistake a spin. And genuinely do the purification process, inside - because this is on a feeling level. It's mostly related to patterns that generate emotions. We have a thought, thought generates emotion, we interact with the emotion in predictable pattern ways. Burying yourself extinguishes a lot of the force to the patterns. A lot of it is a question of identity. "Think of yourself as dead. You have lived your life. Now take what's left and live it properly. What doesn't transmit light creates its own darkness."

  16. Thank you for sharing Personally, people underestimate coffee. It's a drug, and if you're sensitive to it, it's a helluva drug ;). I'm on a "detox" right now you could say - because I don't intend to quit it given how it's one of the things I LOVE about life, yet I find it surprisingly difficult to strike a balance with cycling the substance. It's so easy to cope with it, so easy to fall into back-to-back loops with it. I aspire to strike a balance of moderate consumption in the near future and not have to abuse substances in order to cope with emotions. May it be so!
