@Striving for more Hey man, you'll have plenty of opportunities again later. Maybe even today, who knows? As long as you learn your lesson, it's all good. Both success and failure are good teachers. Nothing bad about that!

@Eren Eeager Serious question. Do you have smaller POIS events after you eat a really good meal or watch a really good movie? I'm wondering if it's just a dopamine thing or more than that.

I don't think it's right to completely dismiss him. He makes some fair points about religious stories and the psychology aspect of his teachings. I may not agree with him totally, but his take on a lot of that stuff is pretty spot on, and it has positively affected people's lives.

Depersonilized replied to Bando's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Forestluv Oh, I don't mean 100% free speech of course. That's oversimplifying the issue. The problem lies in how the censorship occurs. If too much is used on one ideology, some people, especially uneducated people, will take that as trying to silence the "truth". We need to loosen up and encourage free thought. Trust in people to come to the right conclusions in their own time. Even Alex Jones. Trying to or wanting to regulate the guests Joe Rogan has on his podcast is silly. And again, I obviously do not mean 100% percent free speech. That's taking it too far. -
Depersonilized replied to Bando's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
I think it's a mistake to say that Joe Rogan is giving Alex Jones "a platform". Just because I dont agree with someone, doesn't mean I need to shut them down and censor them. It's subverting the collective responsibility to do so. If you don't agree with him, don't listen. In a free society, if the person is ridiculous enough, most people will not take them seriously as long as their content is not shut down. When the person is shut down, it almost confirms their delusions. Instead of only blaming Alex Jones for his paranoid delusions, take responsibility for it. He wouldn't be doing this if there weren't people listening. It's our collective fault that it has taken him this far down a spiral. Also, never forget that even the craziest of people have some form or percentage of truth in their ideas. Don't be so quick to make a 100% judgement. Be honest, you have no idea what it is like to be Alex Jones. Not a fucking clue. You probably don't 100% know who you are entirely or what you could be. You can make guesses, but that's it. Allow people to talk and for things to flow. Eventually it will work itself out. -
Depersonilized replied to Elvaxorn's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Elvaxorn I'm not sure if this clarifies anything, but it might. There's a geometric shape called, "Gabriel's horn". It has a limited volume and an infinite surface area. It's also called the painter's paradox. It's related to the fact that there are an infinite amount of numbers in between one and two or two and three. In the midst of suffering, it can get to the point where "time" slows down, and you are zapped into the infinte numbers between one point and the next. Another example that Leo has brought up before is that you can zoom into any point in the universe forever. There are an infinite amount of camera angles and perspectives that you could take at any point of the universe as well. So how could it be that I am finite, or my body is finite yet infinite at the same time? Infinitely finite, and finitely infinite. -
Depersonilized replied to from chaos into self's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@from chaos into self Those are fantastic questions. You're on the right track. The key and 1st step to realizing the ego as an illusion is self-awareness of existence. Pay close attention to the fact that you can become self-aware in the first place. What does that mean? What does it imply? I'm confident you'll figure it out. Good luck! -
@tuckerwphotography For sure. I do think that like a drug, a person has to chase larger and larger forms of excitement if that is their pursuit in life. What may seem exciting to you, may be really boring to the thrill seeker because they have already done it. You see what I mean? I think what it comes down to is not enough people can just sit down and do nothing without needing something that doesn't make them feel so empty inside. The devil fears nothingness because he wants everything ironically.

I like the video, but I disagree that it's mostly unintelligent people that are into conspiracy theories. I may be misinterpreting what he said, so correct me if I'm wrong. I feel that intelligence is not as much of a factor as having a monotonous boring life. Conspiracy theories are often more exciting than real life, and excitement is what makes most people feel alive. That's really where it comes from in my POV. But I agree with everything else though. Thanks for the video Leo!

@Leilani Consider the possibility that your friend still loves you and that your judgement is still clouded. If you were to kill yourself, how would that affect your friend? How that affect the people around you? I suggest therapy and to tell everyone close to you how you feel and felt. You may not believe it, but they're still there for you, and we're here for you. Sending love to you brotha.

@Leo Gura When's the last time you did shrooms? I've seen some reports of really weird health benefits from them with things you would never expect. I'm not sure if it's something specific to the shrooms or not, but it might be something to look into.

Where do you plan on taking Actualized.org in the future? Do you think you'll tell us what that new psychedelic was that you talked about in the patreon video?

Depersonilized replied to PeaceOut96's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@PeaceOut96 It seems like you're being resistant to your fears and are doubling down on the idea of ego death. Seriously, take a break and do some shadow work. I understand what your going through, and it's an ego trap funnily enough. Instead, acknowledge your fears and work with them rather than just full-on deny them of what they want. Your mind is constructed on multiple parts and architypes of your personality, and you need to learn to communicate with them on why these parts of your self have these fears. Get to the point where in the next trip you don't want to just die as if it's some challenge; just whatever happens, happens. Good luck man. -

I have a theory that if rainbow gravity is true (a theory that light is also affected by gravity), aliens maybe using bending light in some way to travel, making it literally possible to travel at light speed. By bending and contorting light in some way, which is affected by gravity, they are actually propelling themselves with gravity. That's really just to summarize it. There's way more to it than that, but I'm not a scientist lol. What do y'all think? -
Depersonilized replied to Jo96's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jo96 Absolute meaning total or the whole thing. God's perspective. -
Depersonilized replied to Jo96's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jo96 I didn't say that, you said that. I agree with you, but I also agree with Leo. Yes, from the absolute perspective there are no deeper layers to reality, but at the same time....this shit gets really deep lol. -
Depersonilized replied to Jo96's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I've literally done just that on a medium dose of shrooms while naked in the bathroom with the lights off while also getting pounded by the intensity of the experience. I second this statement. Good times. -
@Lyubov I used to feel the same way. Weed was too powerful and I viewed psychedelics as some kind of ultra-powerful other version of weed. They're not lol. Unless I misread and you have had psychedelics before.

Depersonilized replied to dyslexicCnut's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@dyslexicCnut You need to recognize that your opinion is coming from a green-biased place. Instead of being judgemental about Leo's opinion here, take the time to understand, from a non-biased place, why he would say that. You need to understand that it is just a different opinion. There's nothing "bad" about it. There also nothing "bad" about your opinion here either. Peace, my man. -
@Leo Gura I'm assuming what you have is Hashimoto's since someone else said that here in the sub (correct me if I'm wrong). Waiting it out is an option however long that takes. Remission is possible at any point, and I hope that point is soon. Of course, you could always try going for the ol' miracle option. I know you tried that with the 30-day 5-MEO retreat that you did, but I feel that it would take longer to get to that state. Speaking of which, I actually had a full God-mode experience while bored at work today completely sober, which is something I haven't even had, on this level, with psychedelics. Of course, psychedelics are usually going to produce higher super-human levels of consciousness, but who's to say you can't perform these miracles from a lower God-mode state? I understand if you do want to go that route though. I doubt some people want to hear this, but there's also prayer. Some miracles have been accomplished with this tool, and maybe that might work for you. I don't know for sure about that though. On top of that, something people really don't want to hear about on this forum is religious passages lol. But I encourage you to read the book of Job in the bible. It's got some pretty metaphysical concepts in there that involve pain and suffering that might help you on your journey. Anyway, love you Leo, hope you get better soon.

Depersonilized replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Javfly33 It doesn't mean you can't stop playing with the dream. Also, "you" were never really alive to begin with, so there's that. It's really not that bad once you make it through. The only thing that sucks is going through it. Once you're on the other side, so to speak, it'll be the funniest joke you've ever heard of. Once you really get the cosmic jokes, it's kind of hard to stop laughing lol. Look, take some psychedelics, have a mystical experience, then tell us what you think about this afterwards. -
@AlwaysJoggin It'll only get worse if you don't learn from it. Learn from it, and life can only get better. Maybe part of your life purpose is to help others with this issue? Who knows? I wish the best for you. Godspeed.

@Consept Actually, something to note is that police report each other to internal affairs more than civilians do. The video here is pretty informative. This guy is an ex-Navy seal, and he's talking from a place of experience. -
