Why do you assume this means he had a spiritual awakening? I didn't get that. -
Yes biased, but factual.

@Consilience Touch'e. Very fair point. Hopefully more research will be done with lion's mane in The near future.

@digitalkaine the last year or so i have been accidentally finding more and more connections with the bible being metaphorical for enlightment and nondual teachings. Especially a few times on psychedelics. Its like the bible points straight to the truth but christians miss it all and take it literally. "I am a finger pointing to the moon. Dont look at me. Look at the moon" Christians are looking at the finger thinking it is the moon. I also cant help but feel like my ego mind is twisting things in my own preffered direction and that im probably incorrect and most of the bible is not originally about nonduality but nonetheless. -
@coca Yes. Both are extremely addictive.

☝great advice! Also get blood work done at the doctor to rule out any nutrient deficiencies as many defecencies alone could play a large role in cognitive performance.

@Consilience don't completely dismiss the possibility of the placebo effect. Remember that around half of the effects even of medicines that we know work are due to placebo. The studies on lions mane really are not very promising. And essentially all of these studies done arent even done on humans. I'm not sayong they do NOTHING but for the small possibility of a small difference that they may or may not make in most people, I dont think its.worth the money for a good extract. They definitely have benefits as most mushrooms do, but I'm not convinced on the cognitive side of things. Seems very overplayed to me. I think your on to something though abput meditation making it easier to spot subtle effects but if it was "extremely noticeable improvement throughout the day" you probably wouldnt need to have a medotation practice to notice subtle differences to notice these extreme effects. I'm not saying it doesnt affect you but its reasonable to guess that a big part of that could just be placebo. As far as lookong for nootropic effects I think lion's mane ranks pretty low on the list.

@Galyna Can you elaborate? Do you mean that your own personal POV is the only POV? Does my POV somehow intertwine with your in a unifying way or do you not think I have a POV? Or do you mean there is 1 Absolute pov and the illusion of ego makes it seem as if there are more than one pov? -

@Leo GuraI hate ask you this question as I'm sure you're tired of hearing it. But hear me out. So much of your work is falling upon deaf ears because past traumas and the shadow keeps so many of us afraid to face our egos. This IMO is a very powerful and foundational subject that your teachings lack so far. I think a lot of people would be more able to integrate your work if their shadows were better handled. Seems like this is where many of their issues stem from and they have no idea. Is this something in the works or just something you plan on doing in the future? -

this is something I have been working on amd getting better at. Ive spent at aleast a year and half doing more asking for opinion than actually practicing. Its a common trap I'm told. -

@Moksha thank you, but maybe I worded that wrong. I mean what is worth investigating and what is something that I'm wasting my time investigating when trying to discover my true nature.? . For instance, I would assume that investigating the "I" and what that is, would be a neccecary process while focusing on lucid dreaming may be a distraction. Kriya yoga may be a useful tool while a western yoga excercise class may be less useful. I am always hearing that a person is either on the path to awakening or they are not. As someone who wishes to awaken, I would love to hear from those who have awoken, what is a waste of time or distraction vs what is helpful in reaching awakening. What practices are helpful on this path vs what practices are not. What are powerful practices that are worth fully engaging in. Things I am engaging in include: sitting meditaton, psychedlics, contemplation and readong different spiritual books. -

Not me? All good though! Maybe one day.? For someone hoping to awaken, what are some questions I should be asking vs questions that people waste their time with? -

Following. I wouldnt say AVOID lions mane. There's nothing wrong with it but the actual cognitive improvements for the average person just arent there. This is different than what most people will say but check out the actual studies done.

In my opinion Leo was spot on when he recommended Microsoft OneNote. I can do amything on it. I can put in links, videos pictures, custom tables or graphs, bullet points, checklists that can be checked and unchecked. Easy to switch back and forth between any of them on the same page. Its easy to go between your different note secrions and can orginize them almost however you want. And you can insert hand written notes. Not sure what else you could ask for.

@Preety_India Damn that sucks. I wouldve been so upset. Mess with the settings. I have it to where mine saves content every minute on case my computer crashes or dies or whatever my notes are safe.
