What appears to be "the Absolute" is actually an imputation on the part of the Causal Body. At the proper end of the Path that imputation dissolves (along with the Causal Body). Therein is the "actual" Absolute that is indistinguishable from "the Relative". There's very good reason it's not something you can talk about. As in the describing of it, is the use of terms which have no inherent existence. In other words, throw out all I apparently said. The Being this conversation is apparently revolving around is under the impression that he Understands. Simultaneously, we're all under the impression that if he Did, his behavior would be radically different. Frankly, "I still cannot wrap my mind around" how he is, to this day, still on here preaching his "Non-Duality". Does this Being Understand? Frankly, "it beats me". Does this Being understand? Somewhere inside I'm still holding on to the possibility that it's all just "an act" to rile all the "Realized Beings" up. That is my hope. Often I wonder what it would be like, to study under a teacher who just laughs at you, or just tells you to piss off. The experience of That is right here. Now the question is, who can best enjoy "the Zen experience"? -

Perfect clarity. "Losing"; "dropping away", becomes a Blissful experience. Continues until there's Nothing left to drop away. Bliss without knowing Non-Bliss. At each turn of the journey, it becomes more "Real". -

@Edan If this were a Zen temple you would be Headless this very second. I'd much rather be around ordinary people pretending to be ordinary people than ordinary people pretending to be sincere seekers. -

You know precisely what you're doing and what needs to be done. That's great clarity no one can take away and no one has managed to take away. For that alone, I salute you. -
If you ever develop to Coral, the non-issue you have here will be exacerbated by a factor of 100. So just keep that in mind while you complain about difficulty in finding Green people. Virtually all my friends are Green. An estimate of 10% of the population is an enormous number compared to an estimate of possibly 0.01%.

You can find Green people are in heaps compared to Spiral Dynamics tier 2 stages.

@Javfly33 Yes, that's actually precisely what I was saying. I was simply in a manner highlighting your misperception that the author of those statements was somehow personally attacking psychedelic use. In actuality, the author was simply speaking based on his limited understanding and all the statements align with what the author understands according to the theory and modality of Ayurveda. If you in fact understood what Vata is, you would have seen that the author simply extrapolated those supposed symptoms from his learned knowledge of symptoms associated with Vata dominance, rather than misinterpret those statements as targeting psychedelic use directly. Psychedelics can aggravate Vata, other psychoactive drugs can aggravate Vata; just meditation alone can aggravate Vata.

@VeganAwake Hah! I think you broke the "highly stubborn and fixated on one perspective guy" act there. -

@student I'll reply in the place of Leo and save him some breath, There, you have your answer. But just to "stoop down to your level" (borrowing a phrase from Leo ), the logic you're using there is also flawed. If you truly understand that memory is identical with imagination, then by definition, "this which can still change" does not exist. No explanation is necessary because even the premise of your question is logically inconsistent. I'll "stoop down" even lower and address how you can understand what I just said. The seeming "this which can still change" is just a figment and result of your view still being established in the paradigm of materialism. Change your paradigm and you'll immediately see that your question in the first place is confused and logically unsound. -

Isn't it Always. -
The real issue here isn't whether an authority figure approves or disapproves of some method within the range of potential methods. Rather, it's your sincerity and purity in your pursuit of Truth.

@Vipassana If you need reassurance, there's quite a lot of "in-between". -

@Javfly33 Psychedelics do aggravate Vata. If you have no understanding of Ayurveda, please do not automatically disregard these statements. All those following statements are not outrageous statements, whoever wrote them was just listing potential symptoms of Vata dominance (in an exaggerated manner). To be clear, just meditation and self-inquiry alone can aggravate Vata; in reality, the statements are really not saying much. Yes, in this day there seems to be fairly evident dogma and bias against the use of psychedelics; in many cases on the part of beings who haven't personally investigated the very real potential there for themselves. It does not however, automatically mean that all the arguments are completely baseless. I hope my statements have brought clarity to this discussion.

@tsuki As usual, I'm not sure how deeply you understood your own words. But yes, that's precisely the case. Thank you. -
How do you reconcile the notion that you've never ever had someone who loved you unconditionally? I'm not asking the question from a position of not knowing what Unconditional Love is. I'm asking the question from a position of Actually Knowing what Unconditional Love is, but never having met a human being who consciously embodied it. Practically, most human beings and indeed perhaps you will go through your whole life without having experienced being Unconditionally Loved by another human being. This seems almost even more pronounced in a primarily stage Orange society, since almost everyone and society at large tends to look at things exclusively from a relative-value basis for the purpose of physical survival in an Orange society. So how do you deal with this? It seems even more painful the more conscious and developed you are. Surely the solution isn't to go and spend the rest of your life on retreat, both literally and metaphorically. Practically, what seems to be the case when you're developed, is that when you're embodying Unconditional Love yourself, this is a non-issue, but as soon as something which needs to be purified or addressed in yourself comes up, you realize no one's really there for you. When you're developed, you don't need someone to hold space for you, since you can and will "hold space" for yourself, but nevertheless, practically speaking, how do you find a healthy balance? Since what's the difference between dealing with all of it yourself and being on non-stop spiritual retreat? The two are virtually identical. Do you go find a guru? What if your guru's dead and you're certain you'll never find a better guru? What if your guru died three life-times ago? Along the same lines, how do you "be there" for other people? In fact, how do you socialize and interact with human beings from an integrated and embodied place in the first place? Because of the gap in development, wouldn't most human beings by default find you either uninteresting or strange or offering "no value" to their lives? Do you start living in a trailer and going to hippie festivals? Do you start living on the streets and giving gifts to children from a giant cloth bag? Is your physical life already by default screwed when you develop to Turquoise or Coral if you're not already conveniently set-up in life? These aren't jokes. If we take the statement on the percentage estimate of the global population that is at stage Turquoise, which is 0.1%. Supposedly then, in a vastly oversimplified calculation, even if you met and got to know 100 new human beings a year, it would still take you 10 years just to meet 1 human being at Turquoise. For your information, this thread is an "ego backlash". And I won't be tolerating any low quality answers. If you're not experienced or developed enough to answer these questions genuinely, do yourself a favor and don't. These questions are not primarily philosophical or metaphysical in nature, and I am not asking you to point me to Truth. These are practical questions about physical survival and living life from an embodied and developed place. If I receive only a couple of responses that of a high quality, that will be more than enough.

@tsuki Hopefully you had a good laugh. I'll give you a more serious answer. It can be any being; it may not even have to be a human being. And it entirely doesn't matter how they appear or come and go. And it certainly doesn't have to be only when I'm having a difficult time. I can look back to the experience for psychological comfort when I am. I have no clue what they would do, how they would act, or what would happen, only that whatever the case, it'll seem too good to be true and utterly miraculous to the part of me that still holds limited "notions". After all, how can I describe something to you which as far as I know, I've never experienced. The craving is specifically for the involvement of a relatively sentient and intelligent "other". -

The video is poor and shallow. I'll give you the explicit and unadulterated fine print. I've never previously shared this analysis anywhere and I've never seen this analysis made by anyone. In 'Spirited Away', all the "spirits" are human beings; all the "human beings" are "spirits". When Chihiro is in the car in the supposed "human world", she's physically dead; when Chihiro is in the "spirit world", that's her physical incarnation. All the transportation symbolism in the film can be understood as transition between life and death. All the money and work symbolism in the film is self-explanatory, as the Bathhouse represents the worldly society of human beings. Why did her parents turn into pigs? They literally incarnated as pigs. In the "spirit world" (that is, Chihiro's apparent physical incarnation), Kanaoshi ("No Face") is a representation of the human ego, specifically Chihiro's own ego while physically incarnated. Chihiro herself represents the wisdom and purity of her soul. Yubaba (Owner of Bathhouse) and Zeniba (Twin sister who looks identical to Yubaba, but is a totally different woman) represents two sides of Maya. After you "take a good bath", it all still looks the same but functions totally differently. If you've ever studied Western esotericism, Greek esotericism, or ancient Egyptian/Kemetian esotericism, you should be familiar with some allegorical stories being told in complete reverse. They did this back in the day so that only initiates understood what was even being said. There's no need for secrecy in this day and age. I don't know how much of this Miyazaki himself thought through. Whatever the case, it certainly came through. -

Or an extraordinarily cute talking house cat visibly floating in the air and radiating profound presence. I'd surely question my senses, but let's be real, that's the best part. -

Jesus materializes in a flash of brilliant Rainbow Light. He smiles and looks at me with Absolute Unconditional Love, and comforts me in a way which Far and Infinitely surpasses that of every biological mother and son. Can replace Jesus with Neem Karoli Baba, Anandamayi Ma, Matt Kahn, Bob Ross, a really beautiful female, or Uncle Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
