  1. You should just focus on your own contemplative development. Leo's doing it this way in order to cover the blind points of most teachers. And he's doing it well. He'd get liberated faster if he just picked a teacher (mentor) to follow but innovation (his work) is still extremely important. There aren't many good resources on psychadelics used for this level of contemplation and there's even less people who combine it with detailed understanding of human ego development and other topics. And he has very good health understanding (although I think that I've discovered a resource that's better overall, but I won't really give more details publicly since it would spark controversy and is only verifiable with lots of trial and error). You need that kind of synergy if you don't want your life to be one dimensional. But yeah, if you only want liberation (no self) just get a classical mentor and accept the fact that you will have serious blindspots. Another downside of doing it the classical way is that your life will be limited by conventional morality.
  2. How have you realized that I=Mind is a Dream Machine? Have you truly realized it? (I'm not being dismissive. I'm just providing food for contemplation)
  3. Good question. Try to look at a post talking about reincarnation and ask yourself "how do they know?" "If they don't know - Are they aware it's just an assumption?" "If they are aware that it's just an assumption - why would they write what they wrote? Are they actually contemplating or just mentally masturbating?" Besides - if you can prove that you can't ever really die you still don't know whether the next experience will be a "reincarnation" similar to this one or if it's gonna be some sort of stage-blue-like heaven/hell or some crazy unimaginable shit. Astral projection can't really prove it either - I've had very intense, insane experiences of "other realms" - can't really know if it's relevant to what will come after this life. You can become conscious of whether the dreams you have at night are as real as this reality - while dreaming "normal reality" is just a concept similar to how now "a memory of the dreams I have at night" is just a thought / concept happening in my mind (nothing wrong with thoughts just it's not the same as experience through other sense doors). I don't really know whether reincarnation is real. I'd be just assuming so. I haven't even realized whether it's possible to die or not. But I've had some nice experiences of "other realms" as I said above. Always assume everything you say / anyone else says is full of shit.
  4. This guy has some good tips: https://youtu.be/j1WTP4Q7KGE
  5. "Who" "is discipling" "who". Edit: nice, this is my 666th post!
  6. You can learn a lot from Alex Becker. Especially his older videos. https://youtu.be/j1WTP4Q7KGE
  7. When I experience a state that is hard to function in in daily life I usually get used to it a few months later. The states I used to find too intense are weak compared to the states that I find too intense now. You will probably get used to it. I wouldn't stop.
  8. The president was basically a female Donald Trump lol. It was basically what would happen from a stage green point of view. So it was way more accurate than most apocalyptic movies.
  9. You need falsehood to keep your current false "selves" from dying. When you want to change your behavior a part of you has to die.

  11. Keep this stuff to yourself (don't even try to explain it to them). Don't be attached to your friends. Keep only the ones that are the least stupid. Move away when you're able to. And maybe use islam terminology if you ever talk about this stuff with them (which you shouldn't with people that are not developed enough anyway).
  12. I get all my work done first. Without any distractions. Then I can do all the distracting stuff I want without regret. I think everyone should do the same. It's easy when it becomes a habit. I used to waste a lot of hours on meaningless activities too.
  13. Nice. I think it was a combination of all of it & the sleep & fasting were the biggest factors.
  14. 'alternate realities' is a limited description of what I'm trying to put into words. Yeah, you couldn't tell which one is the "real" one when it's happening. But there are certain states where you have memories / switch between different realities (everything (that is conventionally called reality) NOW changes / morphs into a different one). All that remains is a memory.
  15. Combining different techniques multiplies their effect. For example 1h concentration -> 45m noting -> 15m do nothing. The order matters.
  16. It can take shorter or longer. Depending on how you're able to handle deliberate practice (it's hard). The number itself is just an average.
  17. There have been many reports of people on psychadelics experiencing alternate realities. An important question you'd have to answer is who's choosing which reality you switch into. I bet it would be possible to access it sober if you took a few months of and did concentration work for 16+ hours a day. (According to Daniel Ingram it's possible to experience different realms even after two weeks of it, so imagine what would happen after months of it). Obviously you'd have to build up to it. Maybe start with a week, then after integrating the experience 2 weeks etc.
  18. Consciousness work really sped up the process of learning math from me. I have to learn it in order to pass this semester at university. And I'm speaking as a guy who didn't even know high school math not that long ago.
  19. More than a year. Maybe two. But I'm sure it can happen faster.
  20. The key is to contemplate about a text written by someone more conscious than you or do a guided meditation. It multiplies the transmission (your contemplation * pointers from someone more woke * weed). That way you can get insights way deeper than you'd get sober.
  21. Something similar happens to me because of all the dream work I do. It was disturbing at first and now I just find it funny.
  22. Concentration work is amazing on low doses on modafinil. I'd use it on the first few days of a 10 day concentration retreat. Or maybe set aside the first day of your retreat for concentration work and use modafinil to assist (max 1/4 of the pill). Edit: even better if you fast the whole day. Edit 2: oh, you mean a Vipassana retreat that's not on your own this time? In that case I wouldn't do it & just stick to the instructions.
  23. High quality ashwagandha. And obviously squats / deadlifts like the guy above said.
  24. Why would you use it for lucid dreaming? That would be a waste of the substance. Besides, there are much better (and quicker) ways to induce lucid dreams than relying on the extra consciousness a psychadelic gives you.
