Do breakthroughs like thoughts are not my happening in my head, time is an illusion (this was clear during awakening), experience is what the we/Universe/God creates instead of what happens to us, and so on should always accompany an awakening? Or, they can hit you after post-awakening also? Because I am not sure whether I am just making it all up or these are in fact breakthroughs. The original awakening, however, was drastically different that was filled with energy, Love, Bliss, temporary dropping of ego, and realization of One Being.

The experience will reduce in intensity over the course of few days and you'll find some of your favorite hobbies and natural tendencies may return. Then you'll be able to determine which one to choose and discard. For now, just bask in the knowing. -

No. They don't cross my boundaries. It's just they pretend everything. Just like how I used to pretend to be awakened and I still do to some extent. This is what enrages me. They seem to have answers to all questions. I know it isn't their fault but maybe my love for them comes out as rage for they don't see the foolishness of knowing everything. -

I am getting my own place next month. I feel that should give me the room to reflect properly. -

I do earn my money. But, I am not yet independent. I live with my parents. -
A glimpse into the infinite nature of everything propelled the writer into pursuing spiritual development. The first six months after the glimpse, The writer spent a majority of his waking hours contemplating, healing, and TRYING to deepen the realization of unity and unconditional love. But, did not succeed. It's been a year, and the writer is still neurotic but understands the reasons behind his neuroticism. Reality and non-reality has become evidently clear. Names and descriptions aren't real. Goals and purposes are illusory. Money and relationships are unreal. Everything named becomes unreal and unnamed remains real. However, it seems that the writer isn't progressing. He seems to be stuck. Although he finds appreciation for all of life, his consciousness seems to be reverting back to his former self and he is aware of that too. His heart says that he should shift to a new place and take a break from talking to people. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No, it isn't resentment. But as you stated that their ideas tend to push my buttons and that's true. The issue is why do I still have these buttons. What is it within me that I have not paid attention to. Because if the buttons disappear, rage will disappear with that. -

There isn't a need for belief here. What I am trying to get at is what is it that causes rage to come to surface that I am not aware of. I can rationalize all that I want but that doesn't give a satisfactory explanation. There needs to be a deep understanding of where rage is coming from. I assumed that maybe I'll post the issue here and people might point me to things that I might not be seeing. The issue isn't my parent. It's me. But what is it? -

This is true. It feels that the love shown isn't true but there's some underlying intention behind it. Because they don't show the same kind of love to my cousins or even my friends. -

How is the life of a normal person different from that of a monk or yogi? -

Also, don't get lost in words. Sit down and find out for yourself. Words can never give you a full understanding of consciousness or enlightenment. It's a personal discovery. -

Physical world is consciousness. And consciousness is made out nothing. So, what exists is nothing. When I say nothing, I don't mean the dictionary meaning of nothing. Nothing means that you cannot give it a name or characteristic. It is beyond words and all values. So, consciousness is not one definitive thing. It has infinite definitions and infinite manifestations. -

Enlightenment is experiencing life directly without any preconceived assumptions, names or stories. Answers to your questions: 1. It does and it doesn't. 2. The mind steps aside after enlightenment and can be used when necessary. 3. Consciousness is the nature of everything that exists. Consciousness is everything. It's intelligence, it's also stupidity or dumbness. The body and mind that you were referring to is consciousness. Trees and animals are consciousness. Your perception of things around you is also consciousness. 4. The mind is not conscious. The mind is inside consciousness. What science refers to consciousness is the ability the to remain awake and aware of the environment. In metaphysics, consciousness is regarded as the stage on which life happens. And, spiritual work involves becoming aware of the immensity of this stage so that life can be experienced richly. PS: This is just the tip of the tip of the iceberg. There's more to consciousness, enlightenment, and spiritual work. -

Before awakening, I and my best friends both operated from very low conscious states and our prime objectives in life were to build a business that earns a lot of money, improper goal settings, comparison, competition, bitching about others, a different meaning for love. During the low consciousness stages, we resonated with each other quite well. After awakening, it has become quite difficult to resonate with each other. I feel that even he feels the same towards me. Even if I tell him love is all that exists, he simply projects my older image on myself and completely misses the point. I don't want to simply leave him to his own while he is still deluded, just as I was. Have you guys had any such situations? How to did you move through it?

Every being in the universe is an expression of the Tao. It springs into existence, unconscious, perfect, free, takes on a physical body, lets circumstances complete it. That is why every being spontaneously honors the Tao. The Tao gives birth to all beings, nourishes them, maintains them, cares for them, comforts them, protects them, takes them back to itself, creating without possessing, acting without expecting, guiding without interfering. That is why love of the Tao is in the very nature of things.

Tao means The Way. The Way cannot be a noun. -
Upon the Sand Said one man to another, “At the high tide of the sea, long ago, with the point of my staff I wrote a line upon the sand; and the people still pause to read it, and they are careful that naught shall erase it.” And the other man said, “And I to wrote a line upon the sand, but it was at low tide, and the waves of the vast sea washed it away. But tell me, what did you write?” And the first man answered and said, “I wrote this: ‘I am he who is.’ But what did you write?” And the other man said, “This I wrote: ‘I am but a drop of this great ocean’.” The Eye Said the Eye one day, “I see beyond these valleys a mountain veiled with blue mist. Is it not beautiful?” The Ear listened, and after listening intently awhile, said, “But where is any mountain? I do not hear it.” Then the Hand spoke and said, “I am trying in vain to feel it or touch it, and I can find no mountain.” And the Nose said, “There is no mountain, I cannot smell it.” Then the Eye turned the other way, and they all began to talk together about the Eye’s strange delusion. And they said, “Something must be the matter with the Eye.” The Fox A fox looked at his shadow at sunrise and said, “I will have a camel for lunch today.” And all morning he went about looking for camels. But at noon he saw his shadow again—and he said, “A mouse will do.” The Wise King Once there ruled in the distant city of Wirani a king who was both mighty and wise. And he was feared for his might and loved for his wisdom. Now, in the heart of that city was a well, whose water was cool and crystalline, from which all the inhabitants drank, even the king and his courtiers; for there was no other well. One night when all were asleep, a witch entered the city, and poured seven drops of strange liquid into the well, and said, “From this hour he who drinks this water shall become mad.” Next morning all the inhabitants, save the king and his lord chamberlain, drank from the well and became mad, even as the witch had foretold. And during that day the people in the narrow streets and in the market places did naught but whisper to one another, “The king is mad. Our king and his lord chamberlain have lost their reason. Surely we cannot be ruled by a mad king. We must dethrone him.” That evening the king ordered a golden goblet to be filled from the well. And when it was brought to him he drank deeply, and gave it to his lord chamberlain to drink. And there was great rejoicing in that distant city of Wirani, because its king and its lord chamberlain had regained their reason. Faces I have seen a face with a thousand countenances, and a face that was but a single countenance as if held in a mould. I have seen a face whose sheen I could look through to the ugliness beneath, and a face whose sheen I had to lift to see how beautiful it was. I have seen an old face much lined with nothing, and a smooth face in which all things were graven. I know faces, because I look through the fabric my own eye weaves, and behold the reality beneath. The Sleep-Walkers In the town where I was born lived a woman and her daughter, who walked in their sleep. One night, while silence enfolded the world, the woman and her daughter, walking, yet asleep, met in their mist-veiled garden. And the mother spoke, and she said: “At last, at last, my enemy! You by whom my youth was destroyed—who have built up your life upon the ruins of mine! Would I could kill you!” And the daughter spoke, and she said: “O hateful woman, selfish and old! Who stand between my freer self and me! Who would have my life an echo of your own faded life! Would you were dead!” At that moment a cock crew, and both women awoke. The mother said gently, “Is that you, darling?” And the daughter answered gently, “Yes, dear.” The Astronomer In the shadow of the temple my friend and I saw a blind man sitting alone. And my friend said, “Behold the wisest man of our land.” Then I left my friend and approached the blind man and greeted him. And we conversed. After a while I said, “Forgive my question; but since when has thou been blind?” “From my birth,” he answered. Said I, “And what path of wisdom followest thou?” Said he, “I am an astronomer.” Then he placed his hand upon his breast saying, “I watch all these suns and moons and stars.” Garments Upon a day Beauty and Ugliness met on the shore of a sea. And they said to one another, “Let us bathe in the sea.” Then they disrobed and swam in the waters. And after a while Ugliness came back to shore and garmented himself with the garments of Beauty and walked away. And Beauty too came out of the sea, and found not her raiment, and she was too shy to be naked, therefore she dressed herself with the raiment of Ugliness. And Beauty walked her way. And to this very day men and women mistake the one for the other. Yet some there are who have beheld the face of Beauty, and they know her notwithstanding her garments. And some there be who know the face of Ugliness, and the cloth conceals him not from their eyes.

Absolute Love is formless. It's Nothingness. So long as you are experiencing existence as a limited form, you have to be involved in the survival game. Now you can survive consciously or unconsciously. But, it doesn't matter whether you choose conscious or unconscious survival, it always comes at a cost. -

What is hate? Opposite of love is not hate. Opposite of love is absence of love. Absence of love is fear. Fear gives rise to hate and other negative emotions. Absence of love is illusion, therefore fear is an illusions and all other negative feelings are illusions. The presence of infinite love doesn't resolve hate and negative emotions. Infinite love dissolves hate. Hate becomes Love. To become aware of the fact that there is only Infinite Love, one must discover it for themselves. -
Watch out for your own projections on others. That's more important than responding to what they say.
