I've been wondering lately, what words are and what effect they have in this world. As you know, But, I'm actually wondering if words are really necessary. Are they a fundamental feature of cognition and even creation or are they just auditory and visual representations of concepts and ideas that exist independently of any method of expression? In other words, can we think without words and can God create without the Word? Btw, when I talk about God, I use it as shorthand for the Elohim, that is actually what appears in the original Hebrew: However, semantics is precisely the problem I'm trying to explore here. Do words help us or are actually a hindrance in realising the Truth? A recent news item that made me think deeply about this is Elon Musk's proclamation that human language will become obsolete in five years and we will all be communicating with each other directly through computer code, via chips implanted into the skull and linked via a neural network. That is what his company Neuralink is currently working on. I have had the experience of linking to the Elohim and receiving their message. It came as a musical thoughtform, like a collective Chorus of exquisite, lyrical song. Is that fundamental to the way they communicate? Similarly, I have connected to the Goddess Inanna, Queen of Heaven, many times. However, our communication, when directly linked in mind and body, was nonverbal. It was direct thought transfer, sometimes visionary in nature. I had to verbalise the direct transmission of thought and put it into words myself. Many times, our interaction lacked what we would call communication of any kind. It was a communion, an exchange of thought, feelings, emotions and most importantly, energy. It seems to me, that this is the primeval, original form of communication, no words, just an exchange of being, of awareness. It also begs the question of what can be achieved by typing words on a forum, or in a book. Well, quite a lot, actually. Imperfect though words may be as a method of transmitting thoughts, ideas, concepts and emotions, they represent a certain vibratory energy form, and this gets invoked in the person reading them, often generating the very same energetic reaction within that person's body and soul than that, which was experienced by the writer, often centuries apart. If that isn't proof of time travel and life after death, I don't know what is. If somebody reads these words long after I'm dead, the effect it will have on them will not diminish with time. My words will echo in eternity, long after my body has turned to dust. Anyone reading this will experience direct communion with the divine, because the words I write are charged with the Infinite power of God, those that we call the Elohim. This is true of all writing inspired by the Spirit, which is why the reading of spiritual writing and scripture in particular is so effective in creating a connection the divine. Some may even feel the top of their head lighting up and heating up as they read this. That is Spirit expressing itself to its own satisfaction, to enjoy its own play. Spirit is playful and coy. She wants to play with you when taking the form of the Great Goddess. She is the Holy Spirit that lifts up, but she is also a little girl that wants to play. Playfulness and Humour are the prime characteristics of intelligence in higher life forms and that is the basis by which the Elohim interact with us, if we let them. So, perhaps, Play really is the prime method of communication between the divine and those that are earth-bound. After all, when we try to interact with other life-forms whom we cannot directly talk to, isn't play our primary method of communication? That is how we mostly interact with little babies and pets after all. This concept has a name in Hinduism, called Lila, which refers to God (for instance in the case of Vishnu - Krishna) incarnating as a human to enjoy interaction with humans in the form of play. This is a very popular theme in Hindu religious art and for good reason. In fact, it is widely believed that the entire universe has been created so that God may enjoy expressing his playful nature in the form of play. If we think about the human compulsion to have children and adopt pets, isn't the main driving emotion which motivates us, the desire to play? Perhaps that is how the gods see us from their higher-dimensional existence. -
@Recursoinominado you need to strengthen the muscle that holds back urine by clenching and releasing it several times a day. Then, you need to hold back ejaculation for a few days at least to achieve the desired effect. You can practice on your own. I guess there are various traditional practices to desensitize the penis, but I've never tried them.

Check out this thread, this technique worked really well for me in the past, both against premature ejaculation and erectile issues:

I will continue posting my thoughts here, perhaps in a somewhat random manner. When I am overcome by the Spirit of God, the wisdom of Heaven flows into me and I feel an irrepressible desire to express this Inspiration. What is this Spirit of God, that we so often refer to? Do we even know what we mean by that? It is what makes us human. We would be little more than biological machines, barely sentient, if at all, without the Spirit of God lifting us up from the dirt, so to speak. It is what animates us into an intelligent life form, capable of love and sentient thinking. The truth is so simple, yet we complicate it endlessly, to satisfy our own intellectual boredom. We try to differentiate between different types, classes and forms of spirit, soul and awareness. Yet, there really is only the One. That is all. We are That and there is nothing beyond. This is it folks. You are reading this and you are aware. That is all there is, your awareness, which is everybody else's and God's. You are one point of view, by which God looks at the world. We are all That. Everything else is just fluff and embellishment. -
Well, dogs are dangerous animals, that's for sure. A medium-sized dog, such as a malinois or german shepherd can easily kill a grown man. A large breed, such as Caucasian Ovtcharka can tear one to pieces. Even a small dog can have a big bite. So, I don't think fear of dogs is irrational, but you can say that about most fears, whether it is of spiders, flying or snakes. The way I look at it, dogs are all individuals, just like humans. They all have their own personalities, most are fine, but some as psychotic killers. Those dogs don't last very long in today's world, but they were often favoured in the past. It is important to get to know each dog individually and treat them as individuals. They are very intelligent and empathetic animals, if you befriend a dog, you will learn to trust each others and this is always a two-way street. Also some breeds are distrustful of strangers and can be genuinely dangerous, so if you want to befriend a dog, choose a breed that is known for its sociable and easy-going nature, such as a golden retriever. So, just keep in mind that your fear is justified and based in reality, but just as most humans aren't dangerous or after you, the same is true for dogs. Befriend at least one (maybe one that belongs to a friend, neighbour, or family member) and you will then only fear all the other dogs you don't know, not this one dog that has now become your friend. That is a good start, I think.

Hi Wakeel, That space of no thought and emotion is pure awareness, also known as the Self. The more you dwell in the Self (Atman), the more it becomes your reality. It is what we are before we manifest in the illusory physical realm. The Self creates the body, which creates the mind, which creates thought and emotion. Take away all that and only the Self remains. -

The Initial rising of the Kundalini can be sudden, though that is usually not recommended, as it can cause neurological problems. A gradual approach, with years of preparation is usually the path preferred by both. After the Initial rising of the Kundalini to the very top, a process of transformation begins, which involves the drinking of Soma. It is the Soma, which emanates from a higher dimension that causes an ordinary human to gradually ascend to a higher state of being. This is a process, that might take a lifetime, however, before the nervous system regains its balance, many people experience Kundalini syndrome, which is due to the nervous system needing time to adjust. If proper preparation is done, usually with a Guru, the worst effects of Kundalini syndrome can be avoided. I try to avoid using the word enlightenment, it isn't a part of Eastern tradition as such. Samadhi is a part of Kundalini awakening and can occur at various stages of the process, but it only becomes a permanent condition in an adept, after a considerable time has passed and it requires a complete energetic transformation due to the gradual, slow drinking of Soma. This substance drips down from Heaven one drop at a time and each drop takes a person closer to eventual liberation or Moksha. -
There is certainly some connecting issue between the two, with David Icke being the most obvious example. He is alternatively described as a New-Age Guru or far-right conspiracy theorist. This goes back to at least the Nazis in Europe, who were heavily into both and the likes of the John Birch society in the US. There are also many Christian Evangelicals who believe in an overarching Satanic Conspiracy, which they see as primarily spiritual in nature. A similar strand exists in the Islamic world, where religious fundamentalists are often the biggest propagators of conspiracy theories, especially anti-semitic ones.

Dumuzzi replied to Alextvvv's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Alextvvv Yes. I can talk specifically about Kundalini awakening, which I have experienced. After the initial awakening and then the rising of the Serpent to the top (Sahasrara or Crown chakra), which in itself is usually a gradual process, that can take years, there is a period of adjustment which takes 5-7 years on average. During this time, the entire nervous system, but the brain in particular is rewired and upgraded so to speak. It is during this time that most people will experience some symptoms of Kundalini syndrome, which can be quite painful and challenging, but is a necessary component of spiritual growth and the changes that need to take place in the nervous pathways to be able to handle the increased energy flow of a fully risen Kundalini. If the rise of Kundalini is too sudden or unbalanced, various symptoms of Kundalini pychosis can be experienced as well. Such cases are all too common unfortunately and are often triggered by forcing the power to rise prematurely, before one is prepared for it. Substance abuse can also have this effect. However, if the transformative process is successful, the person in question can enjoy increased brain function and even abilities (called Siddhis) he may not have had before. -

There is a bit of science behind DMT, but it is very much in its infancy. There is a UK university (ICL, I think) which is currently conducting psychedelic studies on DMT. Terence Mc Kenna was famously involved in this research, but he has since passed away. His friend, the excellent, open-minded scientist Rupert Sheldrake (the father of morphic resonance theory) is continuing some of his work and Graham Hancock is also involved on some level. They write and talk beautifully about the topic. David Wilcock also does some excellent reporting on the subject, though he is just an author, not a scientist himself. Some of what I've learnt from the above people and also my own insights, is that DMT is essentially the Spirit Molecule, known as Soma or Amrita in Sanskrit and Nectar or Ambrosia in Greek. It gets secreted by the Pineal Gland upon stimulation, which can be done through yogic methods such as Kechara Mudra, or can be roused through the activation and raising of Kundalini to the pineal gland. In both cases, a sweet, intoxicating substance is secreted, that gives illumination and allows a person insight into the secrets of the universe, access to other, higher realms, communication with higher beings, etc... From what I understand about the scientific background, the pineal gland is called the third eye for good reason, it has optic nerves, a liquid centre, not unlike an eye, and piezoelectric crystals that float in this liquid. Secretion of DMT allows the piezoelectric crystals to create stimuli that are then fed into the optic nerves. The exact mechanism remains a mystery, but that is the gist of it. My own theory is that Soma on one level is a physical substance, DMT. On another level, it is however not a physical substance, you could say that it is of the spirit, or in scientific terms, it is higher-dimensional matter, representing a fifth state of matter, liquid light, that is currently unknown to science. It presumably falls into the spectrum of the dark universe, which is the bigger portion of what exists, completely invisible to us. DMT is the link between the visible realm and the invisible realm, because it has properties of both and allows a person to move between the two, at least with his consciousness. Upon full illumination, the body is gradually transformed from lower-dimensional matter to a higher-dimensional form (it shines, like the body of the gods, which is what Deva means, "shining one") until it is entirely made of liquid light. This is also known as a light body or rainbow body, though the distinction between the two is somewhat unclear. Hope that explains a few things. -
Dumuzzi replied to Matt8800's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Matt8800 Excellent thread, as always. I noticed two main themes have come up on this thread, the importance of the Kabbalistic tree of Life and the differences between the Left, Right and Middle paths. A few thoughts I would like to throw out there, some based on research and some ideas that came to me intuitively or at the suggestion of certain celestial beings I'm in contact with. - The tree of Life is a universal and appears in most cultures (including my own, that of Hungary). Its most ancient form is likely the Sumerian version. There is an excellent depiction (relief) in the British Museum, which was excavated from Inanna's holy city, Uruk. It shows a king being anointed with the water of life by a god (most likely Enki), holding a pinecone and sprinkling the water of life unto the king, symbolising the pineal gland and the Soma/Ambrosia/DMT excreted by it upon illumination. The tree of life is in the centre, on either side stands the king and behind him, anointing the king is the winged god Enki. Above the tree of life is Utu, the Sun god and Inanna's brother, travelling on a winged disc. I spent a long time meditating on and trying to figure out the meaning of this stone relief, and I think I managed to at least partially understand the symbolism behind it. https://research.britishmuseum.org/collectionimages/AN00150/AN00150814_001_l.jpg The tree of life is symbolic of the human body's energetic system, with the various knots representing various chakras. The Kabbalistic tree of life is likely a simplified version of the Sumerian original and of course it plays a key role in Genesis. Enki standing on either side of it symbolises the importance of balance between the Left and Right-hand paths, the synthesis of the thesis and antithesis of either. It is clearly shown that illumination, or in other words, the lighting up of the pineal gland to give the seeker divine wisdom and power is as a result of divine Grace, a gift of the gods, so to speak. Above the tree of life, Utu represents the light and heat of illumination as well as the soaring of the spirit and the reaching of heaven, realm of the gods. As you may know, in Sumerian mythology, the Queen of Heaven is Utu's sister, Inanna, whilst their father Enki, is King of the Abzu, of the waters below. Sumerians believed in an extensive and wondrous watery underworld that existed deep below the surface of the earth, which is why Enki is the one sprinkling the water of life on the adept and was worshipped as the god of illumination by the ancients. The three paths towards illumination, right, centre and left are actually meant to be taken quite literally, they aren't just metaphors. They literally appear on that part of the body after which they are named, though they spiral around the centre (the spine) and switch sides frequently. The Left hand path is responsible for the right hemisphere of the brain and vice versa. In Yoga, these three paths are known as Ida, Sushumna and Pingala. Ida is Left-handed, lunar, feminine, cool, moist, and associated with everything that we generally associate with the "Left", including politics. Pingala is Right-handed, solar, masculine, hot, dry and associated with everything that we generally associate with the "Right", including politics. Sushumna is the synthesis of these two forces and balanced illumination can only be achieved by integrating the two. For instance, Gopi Krishna, being a man, was strongly masculine and Right-handed in his makeup, which left him suffering greatly from the effects of the Kundalini power arising in his solar nerve, leading to episodes of extreme heat all over his body. Eventually, he learnt to balance his feminine side and the power than rose up in his central channel, the Sushumna. Maybe my characterisations and associations are a bit far-fetched and laboured, but based on my own research, they make sense. Thanks and keep up the good work. -

The aim of most Yogic and Tantric traditions is to either prepare the body for a Kundalini awakening, or to go further and direct and temper its rise slowly and methodically. The danger with psychedelics is that they can fry your system by giving you a sudden awakening you are unprepared for. However, I have no experience with them, I must stress. One thing to note is that in the Vedas, the ancient Rishis referred to Soma with a double meaning. On the one hand, it was the nectar of the gods, of immortality, but it also referred to a psychedelic mushroom the ancients took to help them connect to the gods. The Vedas were most probably written under the influence of psychedelics, by ancient seers. Also, Soma/Nectar in most ancient spiritual systems actually refers to the compound known as DMT, which is secreted by the pineal gland upon stimulation (such as pushing the tongue against the palate for an extended time, during meditation) or generally by the Kundalini reaching the pineal and secreting DMT naturally. Of course you can use synthetic or plant-based forms of DMT to achieve a similar effect, but it is certainly rather risky. A lot of people who are mentally ill got that way through the overuse or misuse of psychedelics, so I'd be careful. -
Hi Rebecca. It's hard to say for sure, but more and more the consensus is that this won't be over until a vaccine is found and most of the population in each country is inoculated. Because of the high R0 value (like I mentioned in the opening post) it is impossible to contain this virus any other way, except for perpetual social distancing. In the UK, it is now widely accepted that lockdown measure will have to stay in place for 12-18 months at the very least. That's how long it would take to develop, trial and widely distribute a vaccine in sufficient quantities to allow life to go back to normal. That means, no flights, holidays, sporting events, cafe or restaurant visits until 2022. People will probably be legally required to wear masks whenever they venture out in public. A sad development, but probably necessary to save millions of lives.

Not wishing to alarm anyone, but I was just watching the movie "Contagion" about a worldwide SARS-type viral outbreak, that the current coronavirus pandemic seems to be mirroring closely, when I came upon the most important characteristic of any outbreak, the so-called R0 - number, which indicates how contagious a disease is. R1 means one infected person will infect 1 other on average, 2 means 2 will be infected and so on. Anything beyond 3 would indicate an unstoppable global pandemic, though of course the death rate can vary and with coronavirus, it seems relatively benign, compared to say SARS or Ebola. However, the R0 number is a concern and some studies show it goes to 3 or higher. Supporting article from a reputable medical journal below. https://www.statnews.com/2020/01/26/containing-new-coronavirus-may-not-be-feasible-experts-say/ Containing new coronavirus may not be feasible, experts say, as they warn of possible sustained global spread Some infectious disease experts are warning that it may no longer be feasible to contain the new coronavirus circulating in China. Failure to stop it there could see the virus spread in a sustained way around the world and even perhaps join the ranks of respiratory viruses that regularly infect people. “The more we learn about it, the greater the possibility is that transmission will not be able to be controlled with public health measures,” said Dr. Allison McGeer, a Toronto-based infectious disease specialist who contracted SARS in 2003 and who helped Saudi Arabia control several hospital-based outbreaks of MERS. If that’s the case, she said, “we’re living with a new human virus, and we’re going to find out if it will spread around the globe.” McGeer cautioned that because the true severity of the outbreak isn’t yet known, it’s impossible to predict what the impact of that spread would be, though she noted it would likely pose significant challenges to health care facilities. The pessimistic assessment comes from both researchers studying the dynamics of the outbreak — the rate at which cases are rising in and emerging from China — and infectious diseases experts who are parsing the first published studies describing cases to see if public health tools such as isolation and quarantine could as effective in this outbreak as they were in the 2003 SARS epidemic. And the warnings come as the United States reported over the weekend finding three more cases, the country’s third, fourth, and fifth. Two were diagnosed in California. One is a traveler from Wuhan, where the outbreak is believed to have started, who was diagnosed in Orange County. The other is someone who visited Wuhan who was diagnosed in Los Angeles County. The fifth case was diagnosed in Arizona and is a student at Arizona State University; the person had also traveled to Wuhan. Confirmed infections within China climbed to nearly 2,750 and the death toll rose to 80. China’s health minister, Ma Xiaowei, warned Sunday that the virus seems to be becoming more transmissible and the country — which has taken unprecedentedly draconian steps to control the virus — was entering a “crucial stage.” China’s actions — which include shutting off flights and trains from some affected cities and effectively putting tens of millions of people into quarantine — may not be enough to stop the virus, experts said. “Despite the enormous and admirable efforts in China and around the world, we need to plan for the possibility containment of this epidemic isn’t possible,” said Neil Ferguson, an infectious diseases epidemiology at Imperial College London who has issued a series of modeling studies on the outbreak. There may be as many as 100,000 cases already in China, Ferguson told The Guardian newspaper on Sunday, adding the model suggests the number could be between 30,000 and 200,000 cases. “Almost certainly many tens of thousands of people are infected,” he told the British newspaper. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation announced Sunday it is donating $10 million to the response to the virus. Half the money will be given to Chinese groups to help them in containment efforts. The other half will be given to the African Center for Disease Control to fund its efforts to help African countries prepare to have to cope with the new infection. Also on Sunday, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus tweeted that he is traveling to Beijing to meet with Chinese authorities to offer support and to learn more about the outbreak. The WHO so far has not declared the outbreak a global health emergency, though Tedros, as he is know, has said the spread of the new virus is a crisis for China and a risk to countries beyond it. The WHO declined to label the outbreak a global health emergency of international concern on the advice of a panel of experts who met Wednesday and Thursday, though those experts were split on whether a PHEIC should be declared. This outbreak is caused by a virus — currently known as 2019-nCoV — that belongs to the same family as the viruses that caused the SARS outbreak and which cause sporadic flare-ups of cases of MERS on the Arabian Peninsula. The SARS virus caused an explosive outbreak in late 2002 and early 2003, infecting more than 8,000 people around the globe and killing nearly 800 before it was contained. MERS has never caused a sustain global outbreak, though a number of large hospital-based outbreaks — including one in South Korea sparked by a businessman who contracted the virus in the Middle East — have been recorded. One of the luckiest breaks the world got with the SARS outbreak was the fact that the virus did not transmit before people developed symptoms. With some diseases, like influenza and measles, people who are infected but who are not yet feeling sick — people who are still going to work or school, taking public transit, shopping in malls, or going to movies — can pass the viruses to others. Tools like quarantine and isolation — which were key to controlling SARS — are unlikely stop spread of a virus that can transmit during the period from infection to symptoms, experts say. Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said the agency knows transmission of the virus within the United States may be on the horizon. “We’re leaning far forward. And we have been every step of the way with an aggressive stance to everything we can do in the U.S.,” she told STAT. “And yet those of us who have been around long enough know that everything we do might not be enough to stop this from spreading in the U.S.” To date, at least 14 countries and territories outside of mainland China have reported nearly 60 cases. There have been no reports yet of unchecked spreading from those imported cases to others. “In hours where I’m feeling optimistic I think about the fact that none of the other countries, including the U.S., have seen significant sustained chains of transmission,” Messonnier said. “But that doesn’t mean that it’s not coming.” It also appears that the incubation time — the time from infection to the development of symptoms — may be a bit shorter than that of SARS, McGeer said, citing a paper published Friday that described transmission within a family in Hong Kong. With SARS, most people developed symptoms about four or five days after infection, she said. A short incubation period gives health authorities less time to track down and quarantine people who have been exposed to the virus and who are en route to becoming infectious. Scientists who have been studying the genetic sequences of viruses from China and a few other of the countries that have recorded cases have calculated what is known as the reproductive rate of this outbreak — the number of people, on average, that each case will infect. An outbreak with a reproductive number of below 1 will peter out. But a number of groups have calculated a reproductive rate for this current outbreak — known by the term R-naught or R0 — in the range of 2 to 3 or beyond. Trevor Bedford, a computational biologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, suggested the estimates are sobering and point to continued spread. “If it’s not contained shortly, I think we are looking at a pandemic,” Bedford said, though he cautioned that it’s impossible to know at this point how severe that type of event would be. Dr. Tom Inglesby, director of the Center for Health Security at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, urged countries to start planning to deal with global spread of the new virus. Such plans need to include far more aggressive efforts to develop a vaccine than have already been announced, he suggested. “I’m not making a prediction that it’s going to happen,” Inglesby said, though he noted the mathematical modeling, the statements from Chinese authorities, and the sharply rising infection numbers make a case for this possible outcome. “I think just based on those pieces of limited information, it’s important for us to begin some planning around the possibility that this won’t be contained.”

The thing about myths is that there is usually a core which is a true story with real characters that were actually on earth a long time ago, but over the centuries it gets embellished and added to constantly, so that it becomes impossible to say what actually happened after a few centuries have passed. The Iliad is a typical example. For centuries people just assumed it was a story and that even Troy itself was a myth, completely made up. But then a german archeologist, obsessed with the story, went about to find Troy based on the clues in the epic itself and to everyone's amazement, succeeded. It now seems that the core of the story is actually based on fact and really did happen. I would say it is a similar story with the two great Indian epics, the core of it is a true story, but it was heavily embellished and added to over time. The length itself of both epics is a clear indication of that and the main plot is constantly interrupted by little side stories and musings that were clearly not part of the original. I think we can safely say that Ravana didn't actually have ten heads, but maybe he was indeed the king of Lanka and had the misfortune to be the villain of the story, so he was made ever more monstrous as time passed. Similarly, Hanuman is unlikely to have been an actual monkey, possibly he was from a group of surviving early hominids, at least that is my theory.

Well, that would be the difference between a spontaneous and a conscious awakening. It is hard to reap the benefits if you don't even understand what's happening to you. I would say that in my case, I sorta kinda knew what was happening to me and directed it to some extent, but also allowed it to unfold on its own. The benefits are manifold, but not all of them are accessible to every person and these are generally known as Siddhis. In my case I noticed the following abilities that have not been there before: - An ability to communicate and interact with higher beings, even physically (pr to be more precise, energetically) - The ability to heal through energy - The ability to manifest desired results without particularly trying. - Very strong premonitions even just certain "knowing" without where it comes from, about future events - Increased telepathy and synchronicities to a spooky degree - A feeling of being "in tune" with the universe, generally being in the right place at the right time without any special effort - A free flow of artistic creativity a sort of effortless output of art that has value - The ability to talk at length about serious and particularly spiritual subjects, without tiring, just being sustained by the spirit so to speak and being divinely inspired - Much increased memory and cognitive function - Being happy and content with the way things are and with spiritual rewards, with no particular desire for material rewards, beyond the basic necessities - Lack of fear, full conviction and supreme confidence - A lack of interest in the outcome of your actions. You do things for their own sake, not because you have any desire for a particular outcome to satisfy your ego - No fear of death. You realise that you cannot die, because your consciousness is eternal, only the body you are currently inhabiting is subject to the vagaries of time, not your immortal soul - Unshakable conviction that God is real and that you are part of that greater whole which is an emanation of the prime mover, the source consciousness - Your prayers are answered, sometimes immediately. But, they aren't even prayers really, more like offhand thoughts when in communion with a deity. When connected to a higher power, just thinking about a desired outcome can make it manifest pretty swiftly, though I must stress, not on the level of the miraculous. These outcomes still must follow the basic laws of nature. - Unceasing, almost unbearable happiness and joy, whenever you want it. You connect to Source and et voila, you have the entire universe at your fingertips and there is no end to the joy and pleasure that emanates from this heavenly state. Now, admittedly, there are drawbacks, such as having very little interest in ordinary things and material outcomes even most friendships and relationships will struggle to survive such a profound transformation. But, I think it is well worth the trade-off. -
Dumuzzi replied to Moment's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Moment Personally, I would pursue it, despite the risks, but that's just me. All I'm saying is that there are consequences to following a spiritual path, it is not easy or without sacrifice, but there is an inner compulsion in everyone to follow it. In this respect, it is much like the sex drive and in fact the spiritual urge and the reproductive drive are at their roots essentially the same thing. Me telling you not to meditate, would be like me telling you not to have sex. At some point, you are bound to lapse... What I would suggest is to let your inner Goddess guide you. Shakti is intelligent energy and will not give you more than you can handle. Let her be your guide and follow her suggestions. This will come to you intuitively. -
Dumuzzi replied to Moment's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Pilgrimage of Self It really varies. My own experience would suggest that 2012 was some sort of trigger event and the experience has become much more common than in the past. Also, a lot more people are meditating and doing Yoga, so these practices are bound to trigger Kundalini Awakening at least in some who are pre-disposed to it. I myself meditated on and off for about 20 years before the breakthrough happened, practised some Yoga and Tai-Chi, but really wasn't religious about it. There was some predisposition in me towards spirituality from an early age, I was never much interested in the ordinary pastimes of my peers, such as drinking or chasing after girls. I started reading serious spiritual literature as a teenager (mostly the Hindu classics). Certainly, regular meditation can set it off and some people who suffer from Kundalini psychosis aren't even aware what is causing their often debilitating symptoms. I'm not trying to discourage you, just be aware of the dangers. Personally, I am an advocate of Tantra, which on one level is about various techniques that aim to transmute reproductive energy (libido) into a higher, spiritual form (Kundalini), but it is also a theistic approach and requires a certain amount of devotion to the female side of God, which is usually called Kundalini Shakti or just Shakti. In Christianity, this is referred to as Shekinah or Holy Spirit and is a very important component to connecting with the divine. I personally think that an Atheistic approach to Kundalini and indeed, enlightenment is not a viable path, mostly because the ego tends to get in the way and giving yourself over to a higher power is an important part of the process of enlightenment. It is one thing to talk about having no ego in an abstract sense, which plenty of people do on this forum, but the real test is whether you are really, actually willing to give everything up and risk your life in service of a higher power? That is really what killing the ego means and I can guarantee that most people would absolutely not do this, for any reason whatsoever. This is almost a moot point in today's society however, since most people don't even believe that such a higher power exists, which would really be the first step in giving up their ego. -

@Pilgrimage of Self I have had a Kundalini awakening, yes. Kundalini is somewhat mysterious, but it has many levels, such as the physical, energetic and spiritual as well as the divine. On the physical level, the awakening of Kundalini results in an increased activity of the nervous system, all across the board, but particularly along the spine and eventually the brain. It is this increased activity that causes many side effects, which is often referred to as Kundalini Syndrome or in severe cases, Kundalini Psychosis. It is alleged that those that develop their Kundalini with a Guru can escape most of these side-effects, by strengthening their nervous system and their entire body through Yogic disciplines. In fact the entire system of Hatha Yoga is designed to strengthen the system so it can withstand the increased flow of this nervous energy. Those that awaken their Kundalini unprepared, often spontaneously, can suffer serious issues, which are very hard to treat and in some cases can even result in death. This is certainly not a force to be toyed with, so I would always advise the average person to consider their life path carefully and think about the risks they're willing to take. In my case, I had a full Kundalini Awakening in December 2012, which was followed by several years of difficulty in all areas of life. I managed to largely overcome my issues by now, but I did receive divine help and I was saved by a (or the) Goddess at my lowest point. Let's just say that the 5-6 years after that event was pretty much a write-off in terms of living a conventional life, career, friendships, relationships, money and pretty much any other physical reward you can think of that makes life worth living for most people. The Spiritual benefits made it worthwhile but I suspect that most people absolutely wouldn't be willing to make that sacrifice and trade-off. -

Yes, those symptoms are caused by the increased flow of energy and effects of increased electromagnetism in nerve clusters. Sometimes there are involuntary movements, spasms, kriyas (spontaneous yogic poses) as well as whatever effects an increased flow of energy may generate, such as heat and vibration. If you don't want to experience a Kundalini Awakening, you should probably stop meditating. If you continue, your Kundalini will eventually awaken and there will be serious side-effects, that much I can pretty much guarantee. However, if you can find an awakened Guru or Master to teach you, those effects can be lessened signficantly. -

@WHO IS Hi, thanks for reading. Well, I don't have all the answers as the gods sometimes speak in riddles and metaphors, but I'll give it a go. I believe that part refers to physical death and dragon fire here might be a reference to the Wuhan Coronavirus. Dragon is of course China's symbol and in previous communications they have used fire as a metaphor for a viral contagion. No, we are co-creators of this reality. The physical realm is actually our creation, because we also have the power to create collectively. By "hacking" into our collective consciousness, distortions can steer our world to serve their agenda. This may have a double meaning, referring both to the Wuhan coronavirus, and a force or distortion (called the Demi-Urge by the gnostics) which impeded upon the perfection of the world. The way I believe it works and I may be wrong, is that our own consciousness is hacked by this force, like a parasite basically and it forces us to create a reality that is contrary to our own interests and nature, but it is basically just a hack, not a real force or power of its own. We are being used to create a reality that makes us suffer. We create our own reality, which is separate from theirs, the prime reality, so to speak. Because we are the co-creators of this one, they cannot easily intervene. Imagine it as a collective dream we are all caught in. The only way to intervene would be to wake that person up and make them realise that A, they are dreaming and B, that they can wake up from the dream or stay in it and change it from within to make it more agreeable I believe so, yes. The one collectively referred to as "Hell" a sort of inter dimensional prison for the mind, that is again created by the very people who are in it, is at least one I am aware of. There might be others. There are no limitations as to what is possible. The Elohim consider their forefather to be El or An (Hebrew and Sumerian name respectively), also known as Tengri amongst Turkic people. Like I said, they are a collective, but there are familial bonds and a Hierarchy. I believe the Sumerian classification (on which the Bible is also based, loosely) is the most accurate and it is the one I am familiar with. Personally I consider "Our father in Heaven" to be Enki, but others may see it differently. The Underworld has a ruler and a hierarchy too, but accounts differ as to how this may work. There could be higher levels, yes. It all goes up to the prime source, the One, or sometimes called the "One Infinite Creator". It is the prime mover, before there was separation into duality and thus space and time. I consider this "thing" to be identical to Brahman, not a person as such, but still conscious, the source of all there is. How you classify all these higher realms and higher beings is all down to the religious and philosophical background you wish to employ. All major religions have one, some are more elaborate than others. In the end, all we know is that there are higher realms and higher beings, the rest is open to interpretation and speculation. -
Yes, interesting, the US is way higher on that list than I expected it to be. Social inequality is probably the main driver behind that. BTW, you could watch Michael Moore's Sicko documentary on why "socialised" medicine actually benefits society as a whole and leads to much better outcomes overall:

@Raptorsin7 Ok, it's not like I haven't done similarly rash things with my life, I hope this works out for you. As long as you don't actually starve, you'll be fine, you're young and can start all over again even if this venture doesn't work out as planned. But, if you don't try, you'll never know, right?
-
@Raptorsin7 Man, if you dropped out of law school to pursue enlightenment or a business, I would understand, but if you're mostly going to play video games, it seems to be a bit of a waste, especially if you invested considerable time and money into your education already (including your family's presumably). Maybe you will build a great website and help a lot of gamers become more conscious? Perhaps, but isn't that just going to plug them into the matrix even more? I obviously don't know you, so it is difficult for me to see the situation from your point of view, but your family may be right about this one. Honestly, if your family is willing to give you another chance, I would just finish law school. The job market is currently in the toilet and people are going hungry, by the millions. I really think you should reconsider your decision or you might regret it not just later in life, but a couple of months from now. We are now at the beginning of another Great Depression, with 34 percent unemployment forecast for the US, so do keep that in mind when making plans for the future.

The Rich benefit from social programmes, because it means the poor don't just eat them and in fact in most advanced countries, with extensive social safety nets, they can even venture out on the streets. In third world countries with no "socialism" they generally need 24-hour armed guards and change drivers every month. Even so, it is surprisingly common to get little Jose's left ear in the mail along with a blackmail letter. Everybody benefits from a more equal and fair society, which is why the richest people on earth tend to buy property or holiday in places like Switzerland, New Zealand or Canada and not where inequality is the greatest.
