That is very interesting. But isn't that the opposite of what flow and being very focused in one single task is? (what usually is recommended) Also how can I mantain peripheral awareness and be very focus in an intelectual task an the same time? I think they are opposites. I can be concentrated in my feet and mantain peripheral awareness of the "scenario" when I am walking, but it is very comtemplative, it works by itself. When I have to do something that implies mind efford like make calculations on excel I can´t do peripheral awareness + concentration because calculations implies thoughts and manipulation of reality, it is impossible for me. -

There is some bliss in work, but I still think you are in a low-consciusness state when you are working. At least you are and advanced in permanent high stages of consciusness so you can be aware even when you are taking actions; defintely not me case, I am still a newbie. A lot of people do an 8-10 hour job with a lot of attention and diligence and they are not spiritually developed at all. What I think is that work goes against the contemplative journey. And yes, "we have to accept present and live whatever it is" "there is bliss in all god creation" "just do what you have to do" "you cant´enter the flow if you desire to enter the flow" bla bla bla. You all know what I mean. I am talking in a practical way. Describe your conscisuss level when you are working/studying, that is what counts; the rest is theory and non-dual abstractions, what matters is experience, practice. ps: sorry if it sounds as a rat agains you, it is not, actually your point is good. I just took you reply as a context to write a general comment -

I can only see a young lady. I can't see the other woman you say. So the old lady does not exist for me. Literally. Same with suffer, if you are not aware that suffer does not exist, then suffer exist That is direct experience, not reasoning, that's what it is about right? -

Aham so God created men to "see himself". To see others. He created the illusion of separated self. An now we say life is suffer due to self separation and we want to go back to God, to Unity, wtf If God=Good=Unity, he wouldn't create separate selfs=suffer You say you got this idea through enlightment, so it is experience, it is not about words, words cannot explain that. This is bullshit. The misiticism in its deepest form = Nothing (the negation of everything). If you are taking about God or Love you are talking about something, you elaborate that through language, it is philosophy not misiticism so it is liable to be falsaying. You cannot get insight through misitics because insights are something and "God experience" is absolute NOTHING. -

That is true. But then a question arise: Why to pursue enlightment if everything is pleasure? You could answer: because we are not aware of that. So it would implies pain is pain until you are aware, after that pain=pleaure. Otherwise it would not make sense pursue enlightment if everything is already pleasure. So pain exist (for those who are not aware). As you can see nobody can deal with the paradox. As you can see your answer does not make sense. You are always trap in your subjective bias until you admit you don't know the Mistery (the relationship between the Absolute and the Relative), you dont have the final answer to explain Universe ,as the greatest mistics in history humbely did. -

I am sorry for you. Looks like you have a lot of fear/resistance to the Absolute (to death) and that's is where your problems are coming from. You decided to cross a line and you want to go back but you can't... -
status just that

@SirVladimir If I state "Pschycodelics are not recommendable for teenagers", it doesn't implies that pschycodelics are bad for each of the teenagers in the world. It is called generalization, and it is what abstract reasoning is about.
-
It does not work that way, it is not that simple. Ego is necesary, trascendence is going beyong the ego. It is necesary to build a healthy ego. Study The Atman project - Ken Wilber
-
first you need to develop personal before going to transpersonal. pschycodelics are very dangerous in teenagers, they did not form a solid indentity yet. It is very irresponsable whaty you are saying here, That´s all.
-
No. Under any circumstance. Of course if you ask any 15-year-old he will think and say that he is mature enough. That is not a good criterion.

You have individual knowlege (science): physics, language, psychology, etc If you need to use several fields of knowlege to explain something you are doing phillosophy. Basically everything that is not science, or encompasses more than one science, is phillosophy.

damn, it is amazing if you are enlighten since 1986, why do you need to meditate since that? As long as I know enlighten people does not need to meditate anymore (sitting/technical meditations) because they are "always meditating". -

Historians differentiate between the historical Jesus (Jesus of Nazareth) and the mythological Jesus (Christ). There is a consensus among historians that Jesus of Nazareth existed. But obviously we cannot know if he has like the Jesus of the Bible, or if it was just myths attributed to that guy by word of mouth and evangelists. What I believe is he was a mystic with paranormal abilities (miracles). Regarding the resurrection, I don't think so. But all this doesn't matter. What matters is Christ as religious symbol. -

The same thing happens to me. It is because there are still evil in me. If you go back to your ego (desire) when you are communicating with other people, it is because you are judging (desiring) in that conversation. There is still shadow work to do. If you are complete love and no judge there is no way interaction with people could hurt you. -
RedLine replied to Red-White-Light's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
He is right. The idea that there is Nothing and then the Universe starts so there is something is complete stupid. This is not science, this is a believe. Science can´t prove before big bang there was Nothing, because the idea itself does not make sense. The Universe is and was always Nothing or is/was always Something, depending if you are talking in a Absolute or relativistic way. -

What is the fear that pushes you to want to leave society? Maybe that is what you have to research. -

You can awake right now, without meditation or pschycodelics. You just need to surrender, stop desiring, accept death. -
There is an evolution of the stages of consciousness/awareness through history but I don´t think it is the same that the increase of consciousness/awareness at the individual level. At the individual level, more consciousness = less selfiishness = more love At a evolutionary/historical level, more awareness seems to have no moral qualities.. It looks like it is just change. Yes, this is a rant against Ken Wilber.

This is about subjectiviy, it is not about sciencie. Science could at best record the brain changes that occur when the shake occurs, as they do with brain wave in meditation, but I don't think this is of much interest. I think you are still in a materialistic paradigm. If you are asking about literature about the subject, if I remember correctly, Freud and Jung writed about this stuff. In the bioenergy literature I am sure they also deal with things of this type. -
RedLine replied to WellbeingSeeker's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Shadow/trauma release or maybe ego release I guess, all the crow or priest support the idea that devil release is real so it is easy for that people to enter into that state. Theorically it is possible to get that through bioenergetics. By the way, that videos look fake but the fenomenonolgh exists. -

It is a classic idea in spirituality. It basically means enlightment is the end of desire so if you are doing something to reach enlighment you are doing it wrong because it is a desire itself. It is a paradox you have to deal with in your spiritual path.
