  1. Actually yes, if you study parapsychology you will see there are many cases tested.
  2. I remember correctly, Leo Gura claims Sadhguru is one of the most akawen beings out there.
  3. Let´s share how this journey has change our baseline consciusness/personality. What is your meditation background? Are you more compasion now that before begining? Are you more aware of the tricks of the mind now? Can you concentrate more on your tasks? Here´s my contribution: My meditation background is 2012-2019 I meditated once in a while (basic samatha). 2020 I take it seriousley and I meditated 1 to 5 h every single day (main techniques: do nothing without moving, mahasi vipassana, Culadasa meditation and one point concentartion on a metronome). To be frank, I think I haven´t experience any clear baseline shift. Maybe I am more aware now but it is something sutle. Morever, my anxiety and rage problems haven´t reduce much. Still much work to do. What is a clear change is that I am more sunk into nihilism, which is something positive to this journey, but I don´t know if it is due to meditation.
  4. I did that, and SD doesn´t fix with reality. That is why I am asking for empiric prove so they can convince me.
  5. Ramana Maharshi stil had an ego; otherwise he wouldn´t be functional; he wouldn´t have preferences (to get out of bed or lunch for example) so he would died. Enlighment = transcend, not destroy ego.
  6. I can levitante, but hey! I can´t show you sorry, I would be too shocking for you. Even when you are awaken, you still have an ego, small but you have and ego, so it can play its games. I guess that is the explanation.
  7. massive cross cultural statistics, not just a bunch of american students in the 70s, to begin with historial analysis too, what you call green, Spengler would called it last phase of civlizations, for example
  8. What happens is that spiral dynamics doesn´t make sense.
  9. He is a good spiritually master but he speculate too much in my opinion, not very rigurous. I wouldn't believe him. edit: sorry I confused Sadhguru with Shunyamurti haha. Anyway, that guru doesn't give me much confidence either, it seems like he is full of vanity
  10. He should have simply continued to teach bioenergetics. He was so good at that. These simple techniques can take a lot of pain out of you. This video was epic:
  11. Frank Yang is not a noob, he said he meditated 10.000 hours And Leo didn´t get permanent shift. Probably because he is too lazy to do the work, it's easier to take a trip and claim that you found the mysteries of the universe
  12. Acces contration is not defined by the piti. That teachers define access concentartion as continuos, no distraction, concentration in the object. I ask what the hell that means.
  13. Well, It doesn't make much sense since they present access concentration as something you achieve after a lot of practice but I think everybody can mantain concentration on a object without forget about it since day 1
  14. I never understood the difference between access concentration vs no access concentration What is the experiencie of someone who didn't get access concentration? they forget completely about meditation object? I don't even think this is possible if you have the intention to meditate.
  15. of course you can "be" on psychedelics, you always "be" so therefore there is no difference between be on psychedelics and don´t be on psychedelics
  16. That people you mention didn´t take 5 meo dmt for 30 days. Actually they did´nt even take a single dosis
  17. I just to ask myself the same question. I don´t really know if it just differente different ways of describe the same thing or the Mahasi gang is actually beyond -have deconstructed- Absolute/Consciusness we discuss the same thing here, I write there a description of Ken Wilber´s stages of enlightement, maybe it can help you a little bit:
  18. You actually spend more energy being lazy and be trap in the mind and guiltyness than actually doing your tasks think about it
  19. Happiness = no desire = accept things as they are = no ego (ego=desire for change) Money can make you happier since it could stop you desire of making money. But what actually happens most of the time is when people become reach they aim to get even more and more money.
  20. I agree it is a good tool do divulgate spiritually to normies, but for people who are already into this field.. meh I like the first episode, but then when you see they repeat the same formula again and again I lost interest.
  21. Yes you are right, I didn´t mean the physical effects. Anyways, I would experience by mylself what volume of practice is good for me and what it is too much. Same with psychedelics.
