  1. @TrynaBeTurquoise It's pretty common when one gets into consciousness work they stop working out as much, sadly. I get that bodybuilding in it's purest form is basically pure ego, but like anything you can evolve exercise with the understanding. Make Bodybuilding more about overall health as we always discuss and turn it into not only an art of developing your body consciously but performing the exercises is also an art. Or, if that doesn't take your fancy, find exercise you can lose yourself in and deeply enjoy, and then it simply becomes a meditation. Also, exercise is incredibly good for how we feel 'relatively' speaking in terms of our body/minds wellbeing, just because we realize absolute happiness doesn't mean we won't get aches, pains and the rest! Oh yeah, btw found a book you'll love I'm listening to it on Audible, it's pretty good so far! (41 hours of Boundless next....) 'The Joy of Movement' https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Joy-of-Movement-Audiobook/0593151453?qid=1583491850&sr=1-1&ref=a_search_c3_lProduct_1_1&pf_rd_p=e81b7c27-6880-467a-b5a7-13cef5d729fe&pf_rd_r=4860YV55S7A0DY9HJ5T5
  2. An incredibly important video for most people here that think awakening solves every problem/issue that exists in your life. Thank you for sharing! Funnily enough if your fat and eat McDonalds pre awakening, and do the same post-awakening, you'll remain fat! Sure, awakening can help you realize these habits and help change them, but you'll still need to learn what to eat, how to exercise etc Personal Development is still important post-awakening, such a key point to remember!
  3. @SBB4746 I completely understand where you're coming from mate. They are not on missions to save the world or save humanity, more just help people realize the true nature of themselves when they can, and express this understanding in all areas of their life. Rupert actually said in a video recently 'I'm not enlightened, I'm not any better than you, all I see is Awareness, and in some it is more veiled than in others.' 'We are all the light of this being, in some cases, this being is still veiled by thoughts and feelings.' If you want to see a true humble master, who knows the nature of his own being and simply helps others realize this too. I also agree on the Messiah complex, anyone who believes 'I am more important and enlightened than you' will become seriously humbled eventually. There is NO hierarchy. True awakening is the most humbling thing of all, it's literally realizing you are the Self, like EVERYONE else, so if all are that, what makes you special and more enlightened? It's one of the issues of teaching before full Self-Realization, when you have 1000s of people asking you Qs and treating you as special, it's hard to not start thinking that you are special? Imagine you had 1000s of people telling you you're the best footballer they've ever seen, you'd start thinking it about yourself wouldn't you? @electroBeam Nothing wrong whatsoever with wanting to help people, spread love and express your understanding, the difference is when you think it's you that's the special one and changing the world. It's always God/The Absolute, All desire is God's desire, and from that place, desire comes from a place of love and wanting to share. The reason desire gets such a bad name is because people desire for them Self alone, without caring about the consequences on so called 'others' (yourself). But, like I said, wanting to help and express love and share value is natural. Imagine a world where people actually did that, it would be amazing!
  4. @Nahm Yes of course, it is not someone 'giving' you a transmission, more someone transmitting presence to presence and 'helping' you realize it yourself. Only you can wake yourself up. You are always your own guru. Anyone who says otherwise, you need to be cautious around!!! (Think I read an article saying Bentino Massano told his students they will never be as enlightened as him and he's more awake than Jesus ever was....Compare that to what the likes of Rupert and Ramana say lol )
  5. @VeganAwake Yes bro! If you ask people what they want 99% of people will say happiness! (Unless they're starving or something) And, then we stop demanding things and people to give us happiness and paradoxically we can enjoy them even more! Life is beautiful
  6. I think by happiness he’s referring to what guys like Rupert and Francis refer to. As in: Awareness = Happiness = Peace = Love ”Peace and Happiness are Inherent within consciousness.” https://non-duality.rupertspira.com/read/peace_and_happiness_are_inherent_in_consciousness
  7. @ttm My reply to that would be there are 'depths' or 'facets' to awakening, for example I am not arguing Ralston is not awake, and hasn't realised the truth, he pretty clearly has. You could say that's an awakening of the 'mind' potentially. An awakening of the 'Heart' would involve an awakening to love, but yes an embodiment of love to me is much more important than simply speaking about it. After all, no word can ever speak the absolute truth, which is why Ramana said the highest teaching is Silence. Because silence is the only 'place' the absolute can be realized, and that's why I'm a big advocate of transmissions. In regards to Leo embodying love, I can't personally answer that as haven't seen it myself, so I don't know. But embodiment isn't an overnight thing.
  8. @ttm I have to admit I actually agree with Leo on that one. An awakening to love is a key part to a 'complete' awakening, look at someone like Ramana who truly embodied these teachings, love is always at the forefront. Love = Consciousness = Reality. 'However, love, peace and happiness are inherent in the knowing of our own being. In fact, they are the knowing of being. They are simply other names for our self.' Rupert Spira. However, not sure Leo abides there, he's probably had awakenings while tripping, but that's different from actually abiding and living the truth.
  9. @Preety_India Thank you! @TrynaBeTurquoise was watching his Anti-Aging podcast which is essentially 90% about blue zones, 10% the wild and wacky stuff us normies probably won't do
  10. @TrynaBeTurquoise His videos are hilarious lol. Yeah, I personally thought WFPB eating was the healthiest diet for a long time, now am more just on The Wholefoods side, will always remain Vegan for ethical reasons now though, and I'm 99.9% sure Dairy was what caused my acne when I was younger so I would never go back to eating that again, and I have no need to eat meat
  11. @Inliytened1 And we're back to agreeing again I'll add = Happiness @VeganAwake I am very very shocked you recommended someone as awakened as Robert Wolfe, a descendent of Ramana Maharshi, well done! I am still shocked you're actually recommending a decent Teacher, a teacher who's truly self-realized, Jesus was right- Miracles can happen!
  12. @Beginner Mind Yes, these 2 are exemplary embodiments of the highest teachings, we are lucky to have teachers in the West of that caliber who also integrate Western life (Family, Kids, Work, Sex etc) with the tantric side of the teachings. I also think Rupert is Vegetarian/ Vegan, which was one of Ramana's teachings due to the equality of all sentient beings, human or not. Of course we can't be perfect in this regard, but in 2020, it's not hard to not eat animal products as a starting point
  13. @TrynaBeTurquoise I never noticed your quote at the bottom, that's fucking jokes How do you even write one there, I'm such a tech noob sorry!
  14. He's certainly right that the majority of teachers are not fully awakened, bear in mind there are literally 1000s of teachers these days. You're going down the right path, so keep going. Recognizing the truth of your own being, and full Self-Realization is, of course, the ultimate 'goal' of awakening. As is truth, but the truth is synonymous with realizing your own being, and what comes with it is absolute peace and happiness. If you are ready to read, listen to fully awakened teachers I recommend- Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj (be warned sometimes they are mistranslated and will be VERY direct- For example hearing 'The world doesn't exist' as a seeker can be tough to stomach!) In terms of western teachers- Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille (Rupert' teacher), I'm biased but I class my teachers Ramaji and Ananda Devi as fully awake- I'm sure I'll get backlash here for that Others you might like - Adyashanti, Peter Brown and Shinzen Young At first, it's great to get a grasp of what different teachers are saying, but I would then say it's much more effective to stick to one teacher you resonate with and go deep into the teaching, ideally working 1-1 or going to retreats etc. That's what I did and it worked amazingly for me, good luck! And, always remember, THIS as it is now, is always it.
  15. How to destroy Neo-Advaita 101 by Rupert Spira et al What a teacher, to me, he's like the western Ramana, if a bit wordy at times
  16. @ttm Yeah, I see his point absolutely speaking, but that's not going to help anyone relatively, and that's where we can get into some murky waters. Knowing reality is love, and embodying love is 2 different things, just because you could do that, doesn't mean someone who is Self-Realized and awakened to love would, to be, one of the greatest embodiments of our recent history is Ramana Maharshi. I bet you won't hear off sex or abuse scandals from his ashram anytime soon
  17. @Globalcollective I've noticed the same things, hence why I don't think Leo is one of the most awakened guys of all time. Nowhere near. @fridjonk I guess it depends on what you love to do, and how you wish to express this understanding. I am not saying you shouldn't go explore all of those realms if you wish too, after all awakening is complete freedom and allows us complete freedom to do as we wish, that's my point. More we don't HAVE to do anything if you feel called to do that and that's what you love to do go for it. It's essentially what Leo does. I personally do not feel the need to explore those through Psychedelics at all, maybe one day I will, who knows, if it's your desire to do that, then by all means go ahead, but it doesn't mean everyone else has to. Like I said, there's infinite ways to express infinity, each body/mind will have their unique way of doing this And, each body/mind will love (seemingly) different things, therefore, in my view, this is how it should be expressed, there is no 'right' way to express it, if for you it's through more trips exploring different facets of awakening and creation, go for it. Beautiful point in the next post <3 (P.S. You also answered your previous questions by saying that) I also, wanted to add, since my last awakening to The Absolute/ The Self, there has been no need to 'seek' anything further, it is more like a final arrival, the final absolute peace, and happiness. If I didn't come on here or have aspirations to teach I wouldn't even have a need to really think about this really, I would simply live life expressing this understanding in all realms of experience.
  18. @Nahm Yep, all coming from a place of love. One could write a series of novels, for example, that express, love, joy a great story..and that is their way of expressing this. The greatest power in this 'world' is love when we act from a place of love, we are expressing the truth. Love is literally the substance of reality, and when we tap into this love....wow. Imagine businesses built on this principle, and sports teams and fans expressing love after the games instead of fighting, long way to go Also, good point on the psyches, you're right! I just meant in terms of it being a 'higher' choice, As long as it is coming from a place of love, joy and to help people I'm all for it. I'm getting a bit new agey now so I'll stop! Speaking of new age hippies....who expressed love in his music.... @Inliytened1 Yes, yes, yes. I couldn't agree more. That's all I'm asking for is some warnings, as I know as a 17 year old confused seeker I would basically do what any teacher I trusted, so say that was Leo, I'd try to start tripping. You could argue that's my own fault for being ignorant and naive, but young people are, that's my point. Just go to a rave and you'll see people as young as like 14 popping pills and even the older ones popping wayyyyy too many. My points are more about harm reduction. I've had friends who have had seizures from drugs, and some end up in mental hospitals after tripping, that's why I advocate for responsible use and harm reduction.
  19. @Johnny5 Fucking thank you. I'm glad people are starting to notice this. @SBB4746 Great post! Look no further than Bentino Massano and Mooji for this because they're so enlightened they don't see the wrong in harming or abusing others...sexually or however else. They're not the doer and they're so enlightened so no issue right? People keep thinking I'm some psychedelic hater, I'm not If you want to read about this in more detail - http://www.kheper.net/topics/gurus/inflation.html http://www.kheper.net/topics/gurus/IMZ_guru.html Reading these articles really helped me understand this issue.
  20. @fridjonk No, I would say you embody and express this teaching in the best way that suits you, of course, everything is different, while simultaneously it's the very same world. I'm not saying to live out your life like you've 'made it', more express The Absolute in all realms of your life, as well as abiding from a place of Love as your guiding force. Whether that means to become a Spiritual Teacher, or an Athlete or a Coffee Shop worker expressing this understanding, that's for each individual to decide what suits them best. Sounds to me like maybe you just want an excuse to keep getting those highs I'm only playing, but when you realize EVERYTHING is God, including this laptop I'm typing on and the cup my tea is in you're always experiencing God, so by living life, quite frankly you're God expressing God. Non-Duality = Duality. There is no boundary. It's all The Self, All THIS, All here. To me that's the most extraordinary thing possible. Everything is literally God, nothing exists except God, and God created a system that works perfectly. The ordinary becomes extraordinary. @Inliytened1 I got you. I think realizing the self, and an awakening to love would be a great first step for humanity first though But, seriously I understand your point. Mine was more in regard to endless trips as a means of facilitating awakening.
  21. @Visionary I get you, I've never tried shrooms but Dr Rosalind Watts among others are using them with great effect for healing depression & Anxiety I believe, like I said not opposed to Psyches at all. Yes, my teacher also said when abused Psyches can mess with your energy system in ways you described and I was receiving transmissions so never bothered tripping at the same time as it also wasn't recommended. I'm glad you're feeling better man! Just out of curiosity what are you using shrooms for nowadays? And yes, like I said they can give amazing insights, it's the endless seeking that concerns me, if you're completely at peace and absolutely happy, and know the truth of your own being as well as reality, what is the need to keep going? Isn't that just continuous seeking for the sake of it? @Space Okay, I am merely acting on the side of caution as nobody else here does, especially for younger people like me. Our brains don't stop developing until we are 25, why risk it before then? When you're Leo's age go-ahead do as you please, my worry is younger people than me watch his videos and come on this forum, even me 2 years ago would've tried to get on this if I heard what Leo says today. All I'm asking is he warns young people that there COULD be side effects/ damage that is all. I'm NOT saying there will be in all cases. Of course, lots of factors go into it, and I'm not saying Leo or others will develop issues, but it also happened to the Hippies of the 60s who abused Acid as they didn't know about the 2 week tolerance rule, integration, dosage etc. I'm more saying be careful, I might sound like a boring old man, but at the end of the day we're talking about the most powerful hallucinogenic on Earth (or one of) that people have been known to die or have issues from- not a bad thing to practice harm reduction. @fridjonk To me that just sounds like endless seeking, and the seeker excusing it forever. THIS is it, why do you need to keep going to different dimensions once you have realized the truth of your own being, surely there comes a point to put the drugs down, and face THIS sober and as it is, and actually integrate the trips? @Lento That's the issue. It's not as much of an instant 'high' as Psyches will give you. I understand as when I was a seeker I also wanted to escape reality, not go deeper into it. I can defo see the allure of Psychedelics in this context. Eventually they will come back to THIS, but you're right I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall. Seekers love seeking, until they find, then they will be in awe about how it was so obvious all along. I have an addictive personality so get the appeal of highs, believe me, but honestly, Absolute peace and happiness trumps any high, any day of the week.
  22. @fridjonk I'm afraid I couldn't disagree more with the Leo comment, but as I said we can agree to disagree Yeah Alan Watts did have Alcohol issues, that was a huge shame, however, he was undoubtedly awakened. Yes a lot of masters do have these issues, as does Leo, although one that didn't have many was Ramana, also people like Rupert and Francis seem to have very little. I am also not disputing psychedelics have incredible healing and awakening potential for insights and deepening awakenings, I was just amazed how you could comment what you did about psychedelics but you've retracted it now. The thing is, to me it doesn't even seem like Leo has stabilised in the I-I, that's what I'm saying. It just seems like it's trip after trip after trip, needing more and more awakenings. Realizing The Self = Knowing God. It doesn't matter what word you want to use for it. Like I said, I'm open minded about the power of Psychedelics, in my own journey I have 0 reason to currently use them, unless deeper shadow issues appear, but I am intrigued to see how it plays out in the long run with Leo and Martin Ball and guys that are heavily using. Again, definitely not denying the healing power of these Plant Medicines, more that you made out a genuine awakening could only be had on Psyches. Can I ask, what has your journey so far been like out of interest?
  23. @Inliytened1 Sorry man I wasn't meaning to reference to you at all, I know you had an awakening via meditation, and I agree he went about it in a way that wasn't the best! My point was more about I would like a more balanced discussion on Psyches, that's all
  24. @fridjonk We can agree to disagree. I mean most people here use psychedelics, I see a lot of trip reports, but not many awakened beings around here By your logic, Martin Ball and Leo should be the 2 most awakened guys of all time then? I'm not denying the power of Psyches, but they give you insights and can of course help on your path, but you'll always have to come back to THIS and can't trip forever. As Alan Watts said, 'Once you get the message hang up the phone!' Always end up back here. Here, Now, This. Isn't that the point of Psychedelics to help give you insights and awakenings that actually are embodied, not just highs for 8 hours? @Martin123 Mate there's no point, you literally can't address concerns with Psychedelics here.
  25. @fridjonk It goes deeper than realizing Infinity, Absolute Love, The Absolute and that the world is merely The Self and that like is a dream and we are simply natural pure awareness? I better try and revive Ramana and Nisgardatta to tell them that information, they will be glad to hear. Jokes aside, I'm not saying it doesn't go incredibly deep, but do you not think it's slightly naive to think Leo is the only ever person who's attained the deepest awakenings just because he uses Psychedelics? Has he even embodied these awakening into stabilisation of Non-Duality in a moment-by-moment basis, that is what I'm interested in
