@Beginner Mind That's all I'm trying to do! But apparently you need psychedelics and I'm giving anti-psychedelic dogma, which couldn't be further from the truth. I'm all for psychedelics used to help facilitate awakening and for healing reasons. Just not for endless seeking and 'experiences' when true awakening is not an experience! -

@fridjonk No, the reason I’m not doing them is because I literally have ZERO need to do them, for those that do, go ahead, have a blast. Eventually you’ll come back to THIS. Like I said you can find out the nature of reality in a sober way, for me it was working direct 1-1 with a teacher and receiving transmissions, of Psychedelics work for you then I’m happy for you. There is no need to have a “breakthrough experience” when absolute peace and happiness have been realised. One day people on here will get that experience isn’t awakening, it’s just that- an experience. You said you need Psyches to go deeper, as far as I’m aware Martin Ball and Leo are the only 2 big proponents of them. In fact most self realised beings often emphasise how you don’t NEED them at all. I think I’m going to listen to the greatest masters of our time. Again, there’s no need to get defensive I’m not saying they can’t be helpful, just saying you NEED them is very misleading. the fact you keep saying how complicated it all is shows you haven’t grasped the nature of your own being yet. It’s simply THIS. always here, always now. also on who’s authority is that it’s common scientific knowledge that the brain doesn’t fully develop until were 25, this isn’t a matter of fear, more a matter of research and not being naive about these Drugs. I was naive and took MDMA at 17, smoked weed etc, upon realising this (and other things) stopped as I didn’t want to risk any further damage to my brain. It’s not “BS” more Neuroscience of the brain, and I’ve chosen not to take that risk. https://www.google.com/amp/s/bigthink.com/videos/what-age-is-brain-fully-developed.amp.html https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/encyclopedia/content.aspx?ContentTypeID=1&ContentID=3051 this is my main gripe with this forum, it’s extremely irresponsible to suggest someone under the age of 25 to take drugs, after that do as you please, but why take the risk? If you want to do psyches, just wait until your brain is developed so you don’t run the risk? -
LfcCharlie4 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@fridjonk So you’re genuinely telling me Leo is the only teacher who has gone deep enough then?....okay ? I guess Jesus, Buddha, Ramana, Nisgardatta never knew the absolute truth! Knowing your own being = knowing reality for what it is, your own being = reality. The Self, all of it. Good luck on the psychedelic path, once you get it, you’ll realise awakening to the absolute in a sober manner is the same as through Psyches. and it’s not BS about the brain, it’s genuinely dangerous to do drugs before age 25. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@fridjonk No I’m 20 years old and my brain isn’t fully developed so Why would I want to risk damaging it? also, the endless use of psychedelics just promotes endless seeking. I’m not saying they can’t be helpful, but if every week someone’s saying “it can go deeper” “I need another trip” when does it end? Absolute peace and happiness is the synonym for realising the absolute. Why would I need to take a psychedelic when I’ve realised the truth of my own being and abide with absolute peace and happiness? to be honest, you know my age and shouldn’t be recommending Psychedelic Drugs to anyone under the age of 25, it’s literally a matter of time before all this drug taking results in some sort of repercussions whether it’s someone completely destroying their mental health, or someone actually dying, I genuinely feel there needs to be some guidelines put in place on this forum. Enlightenment isn’t an experience, psychedelic insights can help you, but without embodiment they won’t allow you to abide as the self. Im not meaning to sound harsh and I know you meant it as a joke, but I literally say someone saying how he almost committed suicide on a trip, then went on to recommend other people take the drug and handcuff themselves, like really? You don’t NEED psychedelics to realise you’re own being! @VeganAwake I’ve come to the realisation maybe we’re more on the same page than we think but just use different words and phrases to point out the exact same thing! it’s THIS! And like you say you’re then free to express THIS however you want, whether that’s with cookies on the couch, or going political, or becoming a teacher, we can express it however we want, but one thing will remain the same no matter what we do. Love. -

@Inliytened1 Well said! As Francis said in the video I linked- If you have realized that absolutely nothing matters, you have found the one thing that does matter. And, guess what that one thing is- HAPPINESS! And guess what absolute happiness? Happiness = Peace = The Absolute = Love = Truth etc! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@VeganAwake I am not saying there is a separate individual or any separation, in fact, I repeatedly say EVERYTHING is The Absolute unknowingly or knowingly, so if all is One, how is there a separation? what I mean by 'enjoying Duality' is using Duality in the conventional use of the word. Your right Duality doesn't exist, as all that exists is The Self, nothing else has ever or will ever come into existence, for that is impossible. What I simply mean is embracing life, without resistance and with complete freedom, sorry if it comes across wrong. Yes again, as I keep saying all that exists is the Absolute, since I can't articulate it in words very well, and Francis can, this what I mean. Also, no I don't say you follow Neo-Advaita as a defense, I say it because it's quite literally what you speak on here. 'At the absolute level, everything is unfolding as it should. This “unfolding as it should” includes the fact of ignorance appearing in the world, along with its train of cruelty, ugliness, disharmony and stupidity. However, at the relative level, at the level where there is black and white, day and night, wisdom doesn’t make one blind and unable to distinguish between ignorance and wisdom, cruelty and compassion, ugliness and beauty, stupidity and intelligence. The sage sees these distinctions at the relative level even more sharply than the ignorant. The difference here is that he/she doesn’t see an ignorant individual, or a cruel one, or a stupid one, and that he/she remains unaffected by ignorance and its manifestations, knowing perfectly that “everything is unfolding as it should”. He/she follows the inner light of Presence and, like the Buddha Gautama, Ramana Maharshi, Ananda Mai, Jean Klein and many others, acts from that intelligence, from that love, from that beauty, and not from some theoretical view of non-duality. The intellectual thinks non-duality, the sage is it, and, from being it, thinks it, feels it, perceives it and puts it into action.' Do you think a non-dualistic view of the world leads the individual to passivity in the face of the world’s suffering? 'A non-dualistic view of the world may well lead to systematic passivity in the face of the world’s suffering if it is just that, a mere theoretical interpretation of the world. In this case there will often be a conflict between love and reason. A non-dualistic experience of the world will lead to the proper action, compassionate, practical, non judgmental, or to the proper passivity, depending upon the circumstances. The absence of conflict between love and intelligence is the benchmark of proper, impersonal action. Sometimes reason is too harsh and love wins, sometimes love is too weak and reason wins. It doesn’t matter which one wins, provided they both agree.' -

Sorry @fridjonk but I'll be quoting Francis's Question and Answer here on the topic of Vegetarianism but it actually explains the distinction of the Absolute and relative very well for @Mikael89 https://francis.ugjka.net/eng/397 - A follow up on Video Answer 33 on Vegetarianism.html -

LfcCharlie4 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mikael89 Francis explains it better than I could. I'm not great at writing my experience out or putting this in words yet, sorry. Absolutely speaking nothing matters and everything is pointless. However, you act as if everything matters and as if it has meaning. Yes, it's a paradox. A lot of this work involves Paradoxes. @fridjonk It is not a need to teach, there is nothing to teach in regards to the Truth, as the ultimate truth is silence. However, when a question arises, the answer can then arise out of presence to help the questioner overcome the issue/ question they are facing. I see what you're saying and by 40 there will be another 20 years of Integration, so I get your point completely, however, the end of seeking is the end of seeking, regardless of age. The Absolute doesn't discriminate by age, it's not like it's a different understanding ever. I understand how it can come across when a 20-year-old is claiming to have finished seeking, however, it's not the 20-year-old who is Self-Realized is it? There's no such thing as an Enlightened person, there is simply The Realization of the truth of my being, that's not going change, as it is changeless. In regards to expressing this understanding, I have a LOT to learn, so to speak certainly in articulating the understanding. I just know how hard it can be for seekers, and I simply want to help them in any way I can. I also understand that if I start teaching my age will be a barrier to some people, and that's fine, you should only work with who you resonate with. But, I am just extremely grateful I was able to find this teaching at such a young age and realize the truth of my own being, it's like being reborn again, and I'm just thankful it took years instead of decades. I am also not looking to teach properly (1-1) anytime soon. Also, it's not the false self who teaches, for how could that be? It is The Self, 'teaching' The Self, but in some cases, people have not realized they are also The Self, and this is veiled by their thoughts, feelings etc. Also, the main reason I link teachers? They can articulate what I am trying to say in a much better way than I can usually, as shown in the Francis Lucille video above. I also don't understand what you mean by more depth to this work, I am the one usually saying to go deeper into awakening to people on here! But, anyways, in reality, the highest teaching is as simple as it gets- Silence. This. Here. Now. Until someone asks a question, there is nothing to speak about this! I don't think it's fair to suggest there is an age limit to absolute truth, I get your concerns but I have been very rigorous in this work, and did not stop until there was literally NOTHING left and THIS is all that was left. -

This article by good old Rupert explains what I was trying to say well- 'Words are the outer layer of the teaching,' https://non-duality.rupertspira.com/read/words_are_the_outer_layer_of_the_teaching_oasg107 It is where the words come from that matters most when the answer is coming from the presence, that can help people in ways we can not fathom. But, ultimately, as Rupert, says the words are not the Main vessel of the teaching, Presence is. The words are merely meant to help us, as pointers. Thank you for helping me realize I've been getting too caught up in words and concepts recently though when communicating with people on here! Ultimately, there is NOTHING we can say about awakening that is true, it is merely the questions that allow for the answers to rise in the presence, be spoken, and then fall back into Presence. And, as I always say, Silence/Transmissions will always be the highest teaching, direct transmission of this presence, sprinkled with the answering of our burning questions and blockages is what allowed me to truly see the nature of my own being. If I became a teacher, simply using words wouldn't be enough, trying to talk the Ego to death is a hard ask! Combining the power of Transmissions and answering the seekers concerns and questions on a 1-1 basis is what I find to be the most effective form of facilitating awakening. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@VeganAwake I've enjoyed our discussions but I've just realized how much I've deviated from the reason I signed up here. The main reason was to help seekers realize the truth of their own being and begin to experience the peace and happiness that is inherent in The Self. I often find myself debating or discussing with others, when in reality there is little need for that. At this stage we are very unlikely to agree, I think you are the perfect example of a Neo-Advaitan and you think I haven't seen through the illusion of self. So it's best we just end these 'Non-Duality wars' as long as you're happy, I'm a happy man! And, I wish you nothing but love and happiness, and I hope we can meet up one day! Maybe it's best we keep our discussions around helping 'others' (Helping ourselves really!) and of course good old veganism! Sending love! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to TheAvatarState's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah, it's easy to get lost here, and I'm glad I didn't come on here as a seeker if I'm honest, it would be very confusing. I think the best use would be for seekers to ask questions they are struggling with, and then receive carefully constructed answers to that question. I have been prone to falling into traps of debating people and the likes, I only came on here solely for the purpose of helping seekers realize the truth of their own being, and I need to get back to realigning to that, I agree words can never speak the Absolute truth, however, when a burning question is answered, it can help a seeker relax their mind and get back to the work. Also, there will usually be questions around integration and Living this understanding as well, which have value in their own sense. Like you said though, anybody can answer, say someone's having problems Meditating for example. You could get an answer from a seeker, a partially awakened being, or a fully awakened being that are slightly different and leave the OP more confused than before. I'm not sure how we could optimize the Sub-Forum though, maybe be stricter with what questions can be asked? But, then deciding that could create issues, it's a tricky one! This is why I truly think while at first it's great to get perspectives from several teachers to see who you resonate with, after a while, it becomes much better to simply find 1 teacher you resonate with and work with them ideally 1-1 or retreats and whatnot, and dive deep into the teachings until you feel you have gotten everything you need/ want from that particular teacher. But, at the end of the day WE are all our OWN guru and the true power lies within us. and the highest teaching will always be silence. Teaching, Words, contemplation etc are tools to allow us to 'get' to that silence. Eventually, all concepts and beliefs must be thrown in the fire until you are simply left with THIS as it is, right here, right NOW. However, getting there will often be paved with confusion and most are not ready for pure silence as a teaching, therefore, there is also value in answering with words and concepts in order to help people Get it, but yes, these words and concepts are the Finger, not the Moon itself. The moon itself can only be understood experientially! -

@VeganAwake I never once said there was a separate individual or that Duality was real, I probably could've used a better word than duality, maybe enjoy the 'Dream' then. It's just understanding Duality=Non-Duality in my direct experience. There is no distinction between Subject/Object, it's just this as it is. You love conflating the absolute with the relative, and absolutely nothing matters yes, but if my child is sick I'm still going to take him to the doctors, not just say to him 'There's nobody there to be sick, nothing matters anyway!' I hope one day you go beyond Non-Duality, Spirituality, and Enlightenment as the whole point of it all is to go beyond it and drop all concepts, you always say it's THIS but then jump back into concepts. Non-Duality is medicine for Duality, once you finish your course of medicine you don't keep taking it do you? Unless maybe Non-Dual teachings are the opioids that you just can't let go of Duality and Non-Duality are merely concepts for how we attempt to describe the indescribable, and when you throw them in the fire, you are left with just this as it is, always. Also, if you want to get semantical about words, Nothing Matters is not the highest teaching, no words could ever possibly be the highest teaching. Because no words could ever utter 1 correct thing about the absolute, they are merely tools to get you to the Silence, and it is in that silence that The Absolute truth is revealed. -
Hey, I currently have some Sinus issues, I've been adding 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to my smoothie, do you not think that's enough then?

I haven't read all this thread, but this is one area I happen to disagree with a lot of teachers, even my own as they aren't vegetarian/ Vegan. From the absolute perspective, nothing matters, however relatively talking we can always embody these teachings in a relative sense and live the understanding. Ramana Maharshi actually talked about the complete equality for all living sentient beings, including Animals, and would NEVER kill an animal for food, and this was way before the factory farming practices that we have today! I'm definitely not saying you need to be vegan or whatever to awaken, as you don't, you need nothing to realize the truth of your own being. However, embodying love for ALL beings, and knowing that all animals are literally YOU, why would you want to harm them unless you absolutely had to for survival reasons? Like if we HAD to I completely get it, but it's 2020, you can thrive as a Vegan EASILY, there's so many plant-based doctors and the like to help with that. I personally, do not see any need to eat meat or dairy, and even if it was slightly healthier, surely another living beings' life is more important? Question: Is it not killing life to prepare meat diet? Ramana Maharshi : Ahimsa [non-violence] stands foremost in the code of discipline for the yogis. Non-Violence can easily be applied to our eating, and out of true Love for all beings, why would you want to kill someone for your pleasure?

LfcCharlie4 replied to Pilgrimage of Self's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Btw you can't make awakening a 'goal' later in life, whether you are conscious of it are not you are the Absolute! But, anyway, what's your 'goals' with meditation then, that will help with people's recommendations. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yep, inherently everything is meaningless, and that gives us complete freedom to create the meaning and purpose in our lives, as you said it is complete freedom. Why do anything at all then? For the love, for the joy, for the beauty, because you can basically! But, simultaneously, it doesn't matter if you do nothing as you said! However, the motivation for 99% of people to do something is to find happiness in that activity/relationship/object, realizing Happiness is a synonym for realizing The Absolute completely frees us to enjoy duality as we please! For some of us that will mean being President, and for others it will mean meditating in a cave- Absolutely, there is ZERO difference! I actually agree with you @VeganAwake ! However, I think we will disagree on the fabric of existence- Love. Love is all that exists and is the highest 'force' in the Universe. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Waken's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Waken Beautiful! Make all of life meditation is such a key point. Formal sit down meditation is great and very helpful, I still do it most days, but the most important thing is realizing we are ALWAYS meditating as meditation is what we are, not something we do. Formal meditation just allows us to completely rest for X amount of time. Of course, we can also 'water down' meditation to help reach more people, such as those looking to meditate for anxiety, or for sleep, or just for Mindfulness, but of course, the highest meditation is resting as Primordial Awareness or finding the silence in Self-Inquiry. For the highest teaching is Silence. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Adilbek's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Martin123 Yeah, she wrote a book called 'Intimacy With The Infinite' ,again I'm biased so keep that in mind It's basically a Spiritual Autobiography (Think 'End of your world' by Adyashanti) that goes into detail about her Awakenings in 2013 and 2014 I believe, years might be wrong! Anyways, it's kind of like 1 chapter of the journey she went through post-awakening with her personal life and, family life, and honestly, that part reads like a novel, let's just say I've never known awakening to transform someone's life that much! The other chapters are more pearls of wisdom, delving into topics like Presence, Spiritual Bypassing (A lot of people on here need to read that), The Void (what Ramana talks about), Awakening the Heart, Desire, The Stink of Enlightenment, The Enneagram and Non-Dual Freedom. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to not only read an inspiring story of living this understanding in all areas of life but also just for genuinely great insights and writings from a Self-Realized being. Oh and the reason I originally resonated with her so much is she's not like one of these airy-fairy teachers who don't talk about the elephants in the room, she covers things like Money, Relationships, Sex, Desire, etc in a very direct way. So, the book isn't about the Enneagram solely, but she has a YT series on that I think. Either way, I would recommend everyone to read it, but like I said I'm biased as she is my teacher! -
Made some notes on Leo's latest video- He said he will be teaching - 1) Realizing at greater and greater levels you are constructing everything - All your own mind - You are God and the only being that exists- Includes EVERYTHING 2) Constructing all spiritual ideas, beliefs, concepts, teaching etc You are doing EVERYTHING- You are the truth, you are consciousness and LOVE 3) You are GOD (absolute, Self etc) 0 separation between you and God, everything is GOD. Absolutely GOD and 0 separation - become conscious of this after awakening 4) All that exists is Consciosness = God and it is all that exists 5) Nothing but states of consciousness, and everything is this at all times - whatever you are constitutes this - Some more self conscious then others, but everyone is pure consciousness 6) Love = Absolute, you are love and completely selfless, Love so much you constructed this infinite universe out of Love. Love = Solution to all problems. Love EVERYTHING as all is YOU!!! Love = Understanding God and Creation. 7) No fear as a result, all fear comes from fear of self, Total self-awareness ends this! Only fear those aspects you've disconnected from and stopped loving. Absoluten Love = No Fear! You are immortal and CANNOT die! 8) You have no beginning and you have NO end Pillars: 9) Radical open-mindedness - Epistemology, science, remove obstacles to prevent you from realizing you = God. All we're doing is removing obstacles to realizing The Self as Ramana Maharshi called it, or The Absolute, or God. The unnameable. Exist in SO many domains. 10) Ultimate teaching - You are GOD. All comes back to this! Many fears, issues, survival needs can prevent this 11) Need to change YOURSELF to get the results you want. Death of the false salf, gives you the true results you desire. The NEW YOU remains, You as GOD, living a life in peace, happiness, fulfillment = Living as The Self. 12) If you do things you've always done, without changing yourself, you will get the same results you always have. Maybe some surface changes, but nothing DEEP! 13) Become Infinitely Selfless and reconfigure your life to express this Truth and Consciousness in the World, however, you plan to do that. Satisfaction = living as God and activating your full infinite selfless self! BEcoming God is the only thing that can truly satisfy us 14) Work goes way deeper than you could have ever imagined getting into it! 15) The fruits are also WAY beyond anything you could have EVER imagined! If I'm honest, to me this sounds like what most Self-Realized teachers teach, such a Ramana, Nisgardatta (His book was titled I AM THAT for this reason!), Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille, Adyashanti etc etc They all teach what I have written above, in their own way after all so many words are used to describe the nameless. The Absolute/ God/ The Self/ The Big Self/ Pure Awareness etc etc To me, it sounds like potentially, 5MEO is one path of finding what you seek, as are many other paths, the more traditional ones, not that 5MEO is the ONLY path. It was certainly Leo's path, however, there are plenty of teachers who teach literally THIS who did not use psychedelics. I am also very interested on the healing aspect Leo mentioned that is certainly something that intrigues me, as healing is a big interest and passion of mine, also prevention with a healthy and active lifestyle, but that's another post! So, it seems Leo is teaching THIS in his own way and with his own flavor and personality and 'methods' he uses which is up to him. I wish Leo nothing but love and healing during his 30-90 day break and honestly hope he manages to truly heal his thyroid and find the answers he is seeking, as it has been a longtime issue for him, and seems like it is certainly carrying a burden in his life I would lastly like to point out this goes deeper than the MAJORITY of teachers, however, I don't think it goes deeper than EVERY teacher that ever existed, as those fully Self-Realized beings have been teaching these exact things for millennia in their own way, like how Ramana said 'The Self' Instead of 'God.' These are INCREDIBLE teachings, let me be clear, and I hope Leo heals himself and is able to flourish and teach these things in the most accessible way to his audience, as full Self-Realization is the greatest gift of all! Have a great weekend everyone.

This is why I always advise people to read the book '1000', yes I'm biased as my teacher is Ramaji's wife, but it shows the distinctions between many teachers and helps you understand why things like this happen. It's also just a model to help understand this because of course awakening can't be quantified, but there are key 'distinctions' between teachers that you'll begin to notice as you go deeper. Basically, using that book, Tony Parsons is in 'Early Non-Duality' similar to Eckhart Tolle (who he tries to shit on which is funny), Jim Parsons, Fred Davis etc, this is the 'No-Self' 'Nothing Exists' stage, but the absolute truth can not be a form of Negation (No/Not). -

In the UK, I guess middle class these days is supposedly anything below 79k a year (household income) and the UK average is like 25k I think, so somewhere in between there, although this varies place to place of course. The most recent study was in 2011 and 47,000 household income constituted Middle Class, but in 10 years a lot changes!
