Nahm = My Hero. Genuinely helps so many people on here beyond words, when's the YT channel starting? @Nahm

At the end of the day you don’t need anyone’s approval to pursue what you want in life as someone mentioned. if you love sports go for it! if you love video games, go for it! if you love building businesses go for it! etc etc, same with hobbies and interests do things you love and enjoy, to me the purpose of this existence is to be happy, have fun and do what you love. Others may disagree, but what’s the point in doing things your heart aren’t in? Of course this is within reason, and once you awaken, you will be coming from a place of love, therefore, it’s unlikely you’ll have a career killing animals or fighting in wars for example.

@TrynaBeTurquoise That’s typical brainwashing. the way I see it like most things 5G brings in lots of $$$ for the people at the top, do they really care about our health? I doubt it, as then they can push Big Pharma drugs to “battle against” 5G or some other BS. The health system is beyond corrupt at this point ?

No, I certainly agree Spirituality can help in all areas of life, but you won't measure progress by the same means as everyone else. '# For example, Business isn't solely how much money am I making, but how many customers am I helping and ate satisfied. Fitness isn't just how big are my Biceps, but how well is the bodily system working, how good do I feel, and how much enjoyment can I get from my exercise. And, yes dialing down what you really want is key, and everyone is different that's why not one teaching fits all. Some people want to solely dedicate their life to growing a business for a couple of decades to ridiculous levels, and cut out everything else as that's what they enjoy most. (Alex Becker) Some want a lifestyle business where they can earn enough income to support the lifestyle they want, to see their family more etc. Some may just want a 'normal' job, but to become a master of their craft while supporting a balanced life. And, some may want to simply become a monk and meditate all day. Once you truly know what you want you can find the best mentors and teachers in all areas of life and really dial down on your goals and take action where you need to, it's kind of like a superpower not many people talk about. Once you know the 'outcome' you want, the finish line becomes a lot easier to see. -
@fridjonk He's leaving in a few years, unfortunately, and I'd actually say he's quite a Green guy really often says how he doesn't care much for money and simply is a football coach because he loves it etc, and when asked about Corona and stuff was saying why are football managers and celebrities asked this and not experts @Free Mind Simply for the love of the game, like why someone would invest so much into drawing something on a bit of paper, for the love of it. Of course, this can get corrupted, unfortunately. I would say mystical states would push athletes to new levels and want to push themselves to reach their full potential and do their absolute best, and have as much fun while doing it!

@TrynaBeTurquoise Exactly, even if it isn’t direct, anything that harms the immune system isn’t good, why isn’t the Gov/ WHO out sharing exactly how to boost our immune systems ? @Villager Albert At the minimum. @Michael569 My biggest worry too. I recommend Joseph Mercolas book on EMF, I’m listening to it now and it’s insanely informative, Wireless Tech companies are supposedly the new tobacco industry in terms of lobbying and corruption. Weird thing is a lot of people support it?
-
@fridjonk Oh yeah of course, I’m very biased, I was very much in denial about the financial corruption in football for a long time as my team (Liverpool) benefit as one of the 11 “super clubs.” However, anyone with a brain cell can see 11 clubs having all the financial and pulling power isn’t good for the overall sport, just like how the top 1% have more wealth tun the bottom 80% or something crazy like that, it simply mirrors society. I also went through a phase of thinking Sport couldn’t be “Spiritual” until I realised how BS that was and like anything, such as business, sport can simply be a beautiful expression of this understanding, and I very much look forward to the evolution, as much as it will hurt Liverpool ? @Leo Gura Thinking out loud here so could be wrong but if I was to say one area of your teaching is lacking it seems to be the “body” side of things and embodiment of the Body and the “physical” into this understanding. Of course like anything else the body is simply sensations appearing in and made of Awareness, and is spaciousness. however, relatively speaking, I mean treating this vehicle with love, you talk about Diet a fair amount, however rarely seem to talk about exercise since you stopped the Gym, which I think is a shame. Exercise, Sport, Yoga etc can all be used as beautiful expressions of this and of course you know better than anyone how important a well functioning body and great health is, relatively speaking of course. I was just wondering if you plan to involve this more in your teachings, and who knows maybe it could be part of your healing journey beginning to introduce exercise and what not into your teachings and daily life. Maybe not embodying the Body and “physical” creates your bias against sports
-
@How to be wise An Athlete could simply do that by doing what they love to do in playing sports, express this understanding when relating to people, the media, fans, peers etc, and of course playing the game in the fairest and freest way possible and simply expressing their understanding through their medium of Sport. An athlete's career rarely goes past 40 anyways, and I feel we desperately need awakened beings in these mainstream industries, as they will automatically have a HUGE audience! Like I said, I'm looking forward to the day industries like Sports and Fitness are littered with high consciousness beings simply expressing this understanding through their sport, it's going to be amazing.
-
@Ya know Of course it is man, but as others have mentioned sports (like most mainstream industries) tends to reflect the development of Society. I think I said this on another thread but I'm very excited to see the development of these industries that are typically 'Orange' and how they will develop into more of a means of expressing happiness and joy (and fun!) instead of being the 'win at all costs' orange mentality. It's kind of similar to businesses going from 'Q4 profits are all that matters' to lets provide products and services that are actually going to enhance people's lives. @Leo Gura I'm sure we've had this discussion before, however, your biased against sports is pretty clear and I get it if you didn't play sport much when you was young and are looking from the outside, it seems like a Stage Orange mess, which high level sports certainly is to some degree. For example, Football is dominated by money and billionaires own the best teams and spend the most money. However, Sports at their core are an incredible Art form that express Human potential in the body. In terms of 'Devoting your whole life to hitting or catching a ball' I expected a bit better from someone who sells a Life Purpose course lol, these people are following their purpose and showing incredible levels of dedication, mastery and love for their field of expertise. I'm not sure why Sports gets a bad rep in that sense, when you could just say to Musicians are you really going to spend your whole life banging a few sticks on a drum to make some noise that sounds good? Or to an Artist are you really going to spend your whole life drawing shapes that look good? All forms of Art can be expressions of happiness, love and understanding or can be used to further the Ego's desires and needs. Most athletes also don't 'Strut around like cocks' of course some do, tends to be the younger ones who have just come into wealth and develop an arrogance about them, the best humble themselves and don't bother with those shenanigans, just like the best Musicians eventually stop with the Rockstar lifestyle and focus solely on their music, it's sort of a phase some go through. As society becomes more conscious sports will follow, and the 'win at all costs' mentality will evolve. And, the tribalism will develop into more community based that helps the overall sport progress. Of course, currently, like many industries, it's very much plagued by Orange and ravage Capitalism, but I'm sure the break we are going through now will help it evolve further. Sports mean a LOT to many people and communities, and when people are solely playing for the fun, for the love and for the joy of playing the game that is when their best work is produced. Of course you still have to play to win, however, the purpose of playing isn't to win, it is to express the happiness and love for the game that you have, it's going to be beautiful when sports evolve to that. The funny thing is, most children start playing sports because they enjoy it and love it, it is when they get to the higher levels and the competitiveness of our Stage Orange society dominates that the problems occur. I heard stories about Nike athletic teams in America were essentially destroying their athletes bodies with overtraining and poor diets, which lead to worse times and many quitting as the thing they loved had become such a chore. I think this boils down to one of your favorite themes on life- Counter Intuitiveness. The more you focus on winning and having to win, the more anxious and tense you get, the worse results you get. The more freedom from outcome you have, the more free you are to perform at your best and counter intuitively you will get better results. As we develop to Green and Orange we will hear more and more clubs and teams focusing on the processes rather than the results, right now sports is SO dominated by money and results, it's crippling the industries, so I get your issue with it. I just think you've mixed in Stage Orange= Sports when in fact it's stage orange (and red before it etc) that has corrupted sport, as at it's essence Sport is a beautiful art form that can bring communities together and be an incredible way to express happiness. So, in terms of approaching Sport in a high conscious way, I think that would be the way to do it. Coaching with a focus on enjoyment and expression and processes over short sighted results and win at all costs. Although we're probably a long way from that yet. Also, in terms of expressing this understanding in Career, Rupert Spira has a great video on how you can express and share this understanding no matter your job. Oh, and his teacher Francis Lucille plays competitive Tennis and loves it, he often uses it as metaphors for Impersonal Desire, I'll link both videos. At the end of the day, do something you love, and naturally this understanding will pour out of you. (Maybe not Hot Dog eating as that will destroy your body! ) https://non-duality.rupertspira.com/watch/what-is-the-right-job-to-do

@traveler There isn’t a right and wrong teaching, but some teachings do of course go deeper and have a more “complete” understanding of reality, even that is saying too much really. If you observe closely you can notice subtle differences between teachers. -

I feel we’re at a crossroads in the world which is parallel to the internal crossroads many will go through throughout this year and decade. Maybe it’s naive, but I feel we’re at a big turning point in terms of a “collective awakening” I mean during this lockdown they’ve still been installing mass amounts of 5G towers everywhere which is just crazy to me. Every day we’re getting further and further away from nature and our natural state, and I think many are quite frankly sick of it, and are starting to question what is true and delve deeper into the corruption all around us and the nature of reality. I feel as more and more of us to start to be Raw, vulnerable and unique human beings, and not just cogs in a machine, the machine like systems we have built will have to evolve. It feels like we are currently in that time of chaos that always precedes change. And that more is to come. I feel it’s time we go both within and look at ourselves, how we feel, who we actually are, what are values and what we stand for as people, as well as look outside and how we express our truth, our values and our way of being. Society changes 1 individual at a time, and slowly but surely it seems society is surely changing, and we as a collective can make sure it’s for the better. But, it won’t necessarily be easy, but life isn’t meant to be easy. Go and play a video game on beginner and you’ll be bored after 10 minutes, the fun comes when you challenge yourself and attempt to overcome that challenge. I think we can use this time to look into natural and holistic ways to heal ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually, and go far beyond the “mainstream” answers we are always given. This time can be used as a great vehicle for inner change, and as we know when you change your perception, your reality changes. -

@Inliytened1 Yes, certainly someone can be awakened as fuck and then act like a complete twat and cheat in his wife, abuse his students and abuse his power. However, to be that is a sign of an 'incomplete' awakening, as after awakening to love and embodying it I feel the capacity to do such things reduces massively. I know many here don't like the LOC scale, but I'll bring it in as it applies well here for this scenario. What you're basically describing is the LOC 700s, where the 'I am the Universe/ God/ Everything' rhetoric comes in. Don't get me wrong it's an AMAZING awakening and puts an end to the whole No-Self jargon which I think we both have had enough of on here However, this awakening can occasionally be used to say 'I'm enlightened, I'm the whole universe and I'm superior to you, so I can treat you how I want!' This happened in cases such as Bentino Massano, Mooji, and Ramaji had Osho in the 700s also. But, it is clear these people are awakened isn't it, however, their behavior didn't align at all, which is both an embodiment and the fact the true opening to infinite love and The Self/ God as being IT hasn't been recognized. Any sort of superiority is dropped with true Self-Realisation, that's kind of my other issue here with Psyches, if they make people think they're superior, then they aren't a true awakening, which is the most humbling thing possible when you literally realize you are the SAME as everyone else, and there simply isn't a hierarchy. There is just beings who have recognized the nature of their own being, and those who haven't, either way, EVERYONE is The Self/ God and everyone is you. Any notions of superiority and being better is instantly wiped away. So I don't think embodiment is something to take lightly, if we look at beings such as Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille, Adya, Ramana Maharshi and Nisgardatta (All at 'LOC 1000') they are exact examples of what I mean, they have aligned their lives with truth, happiness and peace. And, this doesn't mean you have to become a teacher or anything, just simply your life becomes an expression of peace, love and happiness in all areas such as Work, Relationships, Activities, Actions, Thoughts, and Feelings. So, to me becoming a Zen Devil would quite frankly be the sign there is further to go either in awakening sense or embodiment sense. And, just to be clear here, I am far from perfect in this area, as I am still very much integrating as most of us here are (for example in Zen they say it can take up to 7 years to truly integrate, @Haumea2018 has been at '1000' for 2 years, and said it involves a LOT of shadow work and purification) The thing is people will then think oh if you're still doing work how can you be awake?!?!?!?!? That's also my gripe with the No-Self clan, it seems as much as 'there's nothing to do and nobody here' they don't want to face the shadow and dark side within, because it really isn't fun at times I can tell you that! But, you could easily do Shadow work and purification pre-awakening, it just becomes a LOT easier when the I-thought is no longer in the way sabotaging you. And lastly, to me understanding The Self/ The Absolute, and not living like it is simply not understanding the teaching fully, embodiment can bring even deeper levels of harmony and being in my experience as you aren't living 'against' the Truth. For example, I would imagine an awakened being would find it hard to then go and be a marketer for McDonald's and continue poisoning kids, I feel they'd be called to move to a company doing the opposite if you get me. I rambled on a bit there but in one sentence- I don't see Zen Devils as fully awake, to me integration and embodiment is so so important, and Realisation and Insights are like Chapter 1-2 in the book! I think Rupert talks about this somewhere, I'll try and find it @Display_Name Not until I'm 25 Also, I'm currently still working on embodiment and integration and the 'clearing' stage of this work, so right now it wouldn't be right for me, maybe in several years as a test it could be fun @fridjonk Wrong! 5MEO takes you to LOC99999999999! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Matteo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@fridjonk My main point is that I’m not denying Psyches give amazing insights and experiences, never once have I denied Leo’s awakenings. However, true awakening is beyond states and experiences. Again, I am not saying Psyches can’t help with this, they help on many people’s journey, however, we always end up back here with This, so yes, use them to help, but when are you going to face reality as it is, now? and, to me, in Leo’s case he doesn’t seem Awake, he seems he’s had very deep awakenings and insights but doesn’t abide there on a day to day basis, could be wrong, but that’s how his messages are coming across. Again, I think Psyches are a great tool for insights and experiences, the real work to me is then embodying and integrating each trip, which probably would take more than 1 week no? @Inliytened1 I am open minded, I said I’m open to the fact they are clearly incredibly helpful and powerful as I have said. And, of course they induce mystical states and experiences, I’ve never doubted that. But, awakening isn’t about experiences, I am not denying Leo has had incredibly deep experiences and insights. My doubts are his abidance and day to day being when sober. And, in regards to the teachings, of course many of his are incredibly helpful, and I’m happy they helped you, that’s why I’m saying it’s clear these insights and teachings have come from his direct experience, in just not sold on the whole more awake than anyone else bonanza, and that he’s actually awake full stop, that’s all. I have conversed with many on and outside this forum regarding this and many share similar concerns. Not that it really matters, you’re entitled to your opinion, as I am mine. I certainly support Psyches being used on ones path, but I feel there’s a difference between use and abuse of anything in life, and as I mentioned in the end This is it, here, now. And Leo won’t give a fuck what I think, why would he, it’s his life and his will to do whatever the fuck he wants. All I ask for is maybe a bit more precaution when recommending to young people, these are very powerful substances. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Peter124's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nahm Well said as always, my friend. @Peter124 This is a common mistake in Non-Dual circles, equating all desire= bad. I'm guessing you didn't watch the video. The form of the desire you are talking about is personal desire, in terms of desiring things because you think they will make you happy. Desiring a Girlfriend because you think they will solve all of your issues and finally make you happy is one example. Of course, this is destined to fail, as this person won't be able to make you happy eventually, and you'll then be left on your search. Awakening and the realization of our true being is of course the source of true peace and happiness, the 'kind' that never leaves us. From there, we then desire to express this peace, happiness, love and joy. from this place of wholeness and fulfilment we may wish to express this love with another being in the form of a romantic relationship or friendship, however, the big difference is we don't need a Girlfriend to BE happy, we simply have the desire to express happiness and love through the medium of relationship. That being said, everybody is different, and not everyone will desire a relationship, that was just an example of the difference in desire. As Nahm said Desire is literally creation, without it, we wouldn't be breathing, without it we wouldn't exist in this dimension, it was God's/The Absolutes desire to create and share that created all of this in the first place, and it came from what? A desire to SHARE, for the sake of it, of course, either way the absolute is completely fulfilled and at peace! @Peter124 In regards to your last post, I understand what it's like, Ego freakouts are very scary, it's kind of like realizing you've been lied to for X amount of years. But 'dying' doesn't mean anything true in you dies, it simply means the false is seen through, and you are reborn as you truly are, a unique expression of The Absolute, and from this place you are free to be who you are COMPLETELY! It doesn't mean you just give up on life and call it quits, it simply means life evolves and is lived in line with your new understanding of yourself and reality. It isn't easy, but it is always worth it. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Matteo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Matteo Of course, and that is why I said who knows in a decade we could see hundreds of 5MEO awakened beings, just so far we haven't at all. So far it seems it creates a sense of delusion, narcissism and Inflation (did anyone read the articles linked?) That being said, I am of course opening to this changing and am not tied to one path, if the psychedelic path proves to be more effective in helping raise people's consciousness and awaken them, I'm all for it. Like I already said, Psychedelics can give people incredible insights, experiences and even healing modalities, I'm just not convinced on Leo's whole more awakened than the Buddha based on how he acts on here, what he says and his videos that's all. At this point I would not class him as awake at all in fact, this doesn't mean I'm dismissing his Experiences or Insights at all btw, I'm talking about Self-Realisation, not just insights and experiences, while great, no experience lasts forever, no matter how high you go always end back here, with THIS. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Matteo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nexeternity So Leo is still seeking then? Ramaji mentioned it recently actually that Leo isn’t in Non-Duality, therefore, isn’t awakened, can’t have it both ways. And, yes, very rarely are people asked their age when psyches are recommended, they just are recommended, I have no problem with psyches, my issue is with reckless recommendations to people too young for them. As I clearly stated I am not talking badly of psyches, they are great medicines for the right people, at the right time and when used responsibly of course. Never once did I dispute that. Of course “responsible use” is quite a blanket term, to me using a synthetic chemical weekly in quite high doses isn’t responsible, to others it may be. Maybe a safety post should be made on Psyches regarding the points you made, as I do see them recommended without any age questions. Ive even seen them recommended after by someone after they said they almost committed Suicide during a trip on here. My main point, is that I’m yet to see any awakened beings who are proponents of this 5MEO path, that’s all. Who knows, in a decade there could be 1000s. -
2 Weeks in for me, doing wither 3x30 breaths or 4x40 breaths followed by roughly a 3 minute cold shower, still need to try that 10 minute cold shower, will try tonight I think- now this will be a challenge!

LfcCharlie4 replied to Peter124's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Desire is not the cause of suffering lol, without desire you'd die. this was a HUGE mistranslation from Sanskrit, a more accurate term would be craving or more, believing the fulfillment of a personal desire will make you happy. (It won't) When you desire to receive, for the sake of sharing your life will change. The happiest people are always those who are giving, sharing and loving. The issue with modern society is desiring for the self alone, and this is an endless void you can never fill. For whatever reason, desire has gotten a terrible rep in Non-Dual circles, when desire is literally your life force, you're on here due to your desire to awaken, or your desire to share. Also, 'Impersonal desire' can be somewhat misleading, and it doesn't mean you don't take care of your own needs of course. It just means your desire is coming from a place of love, truth and happiness, instead of in search of those. For example, let's say you play sport, and have the desire to play for a Football team. Personal desire would be because you think playing for this team will make you happy, make you popular, and when you win the league you will finally be happy. Impersonal desire would be because you simply love playing football and it's a way you express happiness and joy. Of course, you want to win your games and win the league, but your happiness and wellbeing is not determined by it. Sure if you win the league you'll be elated and ecstatic, but let's say you don't you'll deal with the emotions that come up, and guess what, you'll remain absolutely happy and at peace. Francis Lucille describes this amazingly well, I'll link one of his Q&A answers and vids that explains this well. As well as his website. (sorry his q&a website seems down atm) -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Matteo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura I know RASA isn’t perfect, (especially for some of the people trained it from what this thread has said) and neither are Ramaji or Amanda are perfect, however they’ve helped so many students awaken using the 1-1 and coaching, and of course you shouldn’t rely on a Guru, they repeatedly say you are your own Guru. I can’t help but think you’re mainly saying this as Ramaji was someone who called you out and humbled you, by telling you, you aren’t awake and using his method in the 500s (still seeking, and not stabilised in awakening) You of course took this as him being wrong as how could Leo not be awake right? Of course that could be the case, but I wouldn’t expect anything different. I know you’ll say, well that was X years ago, but even now, similar has been said. There’s no doubting you’ve had deep awakenings, insights and experiences, but it’s so clear from how you act on here and what you say, that you simply don’t abide there, and aren’t Self-Realised at all, hence why you are now calling awakening a state, to cover up the fact you aren’t actually truly awake. Awakening isn’t simply an experience or a state. I would really look into Inflation, Grandeur and Narcissism, as you show the clear signs for all 3. Anyone else wanting to understand what’s going on here may also want to read these. http://www.kheper.net/topics/gurus/inflation.html http://samvak.tripod.com/journal66.html In regards to delusions, I would say there’s more risk of that on this path, such as delusions regarding becoming the most awake being of all time? True awakening humbles you. And, they don’t harbour ignorance regarding Psyches, when ask they have said multiple times they can be amazing in the right context for whatever reason, and have helped many people on their journey. The difference is, they, like many, can see you are simply abusing a substance and the risks that come with that. More importantly, you have a HUGE amount of impressionable 16-25 year olds following you who will basically do what you say, so if you tell them to do psyches regularly they’ll go do it. This is literally a matter of time before something serious blows up out of this, while when used correctly psyches can be amazing, recommending it to Kids is still very dangerous Leo, id be really careful in that regard. It isn’t delusional, to offer warnings around things that CAN (not will) cause harm. And, I am NOT anti Psyches, in fact I actively promote them when used in the right context and safely they can be amazing, I am certainly not denying that. All I am saying is the two biggest proponents of 5MEO you and Martin Ball, neither are actually awake. And, just to be clear I am not saying I am the most awake being ever, RASA helped me a lot realise the truth of my own being, and of reality, but simply at the end of the day you are always your own Guru, and follow whatever path works for you. Maybe more people will see that you saying “X isn’t awake” without you actually being truly awake is the most ironic thing possible. Lastly, I just want to say this comes from a place of love. I have zero against you Leo, and of course it is your path, I am merely saying what I see, and to me it seems these substances are effecting you in ways you haven’t noticed yourself, but many inside this community and outside are beginning to notice& please be careful when recommending these substances to those younger than 25. -

@EntheogenTruthSeeker Different strokes for different folks mate. My experience was the complete opposite. I don’t think there’s one path for everyone at all, whatever resonates most with you go with that!
