  1. @herghly Personally I'm drinking 0 Coffee and Tea, except maybe a Sunday morning after drinking once in a while
  2. Been almost 3 weeks for me now and I will NEVER go back to daily caffeine consumption my sleep is SOO much better and energy is much more stable throughout the day. Agree, it's all about experimenting on oneself and finding what works best for each of us, my next experiment is Celery Juice and the Medical Medium, I want my body optimised as much as possible and this guy fascinates me! Here's some videos Alex has made recently on this topic...
  3. It's conscious business 101, how businesses should be run. Finding a customers problem, and solving it with your products and services in the best way you can. E.G. you want to help people lose weight, produce an all in one course that step by step shows people exactly how to do that and keep it off! He is coming at business very much from a stage Yellow perspective! @Aquarius @Arzola Yep, all ideas and concepts around awakening eventually need to be dropped, hence why eventually reading non-duality books stops (at least for a while ) and exactly, awakening won't solve all 'your' problems like eating healthy or your phone addiction necessarily I don't know how old you two are, but these are 2 of my favorite Leo videos! @Leo Gura Make part 2 brooooo!
  4. @blueberries I never said stop reading man, I just meant Non-Duality and Enlightenment books, in particular, will eventually need to be dropped, (when the time is right of course!) I'll never stop reading books on other topics, or areas I want to improve on, you can if you want, but I don't see value in it. If I need business advice, I'll probably read a book on that. I solely meant Non-Duality books Fiction is beautiful, it's a form of art just like all true entertainment is, like a good TV series or Movie, or comedy act, so of course, enjoy that all you want! Not that my opinion matters at all, go do whatever the fuck it is you want to do, you don't need anyone's authority to do so Non-Fiction (normally except like Biographies and whatnot) is about solving one's problems, people read dating books because they want to improve their dating life etc, Fiction is an art form and is entertainment, so it's 2 different markets. I actually Co-Own a fiction business and also a Non-Fiction business, and it's 2 different business models completely. So, in summary, go enjoy whatever fiction you enjoy! Same for movies, TV shows and whatnot, if you enjoy them as well
  5. @Arzola Non-Duality Books (I’m bias) - 1000 & No Mind, No Problem by Ramaji, Intimacy With the infinite by Ananda Devi & any of Rupert Spira & Francis Lucille books Also, Ramana Maharishi books, but these are translated so often not as easy to digest. Health & Fitness books- How not to Diet by Dr Gregor, Boundless by Ben Greenfield, EMFd by Joseph Mercola, not a book but research Wim Hof and his teachings ALL the Medical Medium books- currently reading these myself, and wow, they could heal and have healed millions Business- Seth Godin “This is Marketing” Investing- Pick what you want to invest in and find the best resources for it Ive read so much spirituality and non duality over the last few years, I’m finally delving back into other topics, with this years focus on Health & Fitness, and already feel a LOT better, books are amazing but remember to TAKE ACTION on what you’re reading, that’s the key!
  6. @Leo Gura Agree, post awakening the need for books and teachings begin to drop away, they have their place and their purpose but like all things must eventually be dropped. However, I still feel there’s always a time and a place for books/ courses/ teachings on other topics, such as business, money, relationships, dating, psychology, health, exercise, cooking etc, let’s say in the “relative” domain of life. Oh and of course with hobbies like if you want to learn the Guitar, or how to garden or something like that. @Arzola What kind of problems are you looking to solve, or more just looking to broaden your horizon, I can then recommend some books
  7. @Villager Albert Yes, he only recommends Organic, and then says if you can't it must be intensely washed!
  8. @Arzack I'm not saying there isn't any validity to your point, but the way you're phrasing it sounds like you're looking for things to suit your own narrative, I would definitely say Past Lives play a role because it is an act of grace to even become interested in this work, but I wouldn't say you 'need' mystical experiences to awaken without Psyches, I didn't have any, and awakened without psyches, unless you count raving on MDMA at 17 as a psyche? Maybe I'm an old soul. But, it wasn't spontaneous it occurred due to transmissions & working 1-1 with a teacher. And, I definitely didn't have any mystical experiences when I was younger, I would like to look into past lives though, I think that could be fun. Here's some teacher's stories who awakened without Psyches that didn't have mystical experiences. https://advaitachannel.francislucille.com/en/a-spiritual-awakening/ https://realization.org/p/adyashanti/my-awakening.html I do agree though, a lot of teachers have some form of spontaneous event or awakening, I just don't think it's fair to say 'all', but like I said I think it is a huge act of grace to even be involved in this work, 99.9% of people couldn't give 2 fucks about awakening, could they? Just like I'm biased towards Transmissions and working 1-1 with teachers, I feel maybe you are slightly biased towards psyches because they helped you so much? Anyways, good luck on your path and keep us updated on the trips!
  9. Yeah, I remember the first thought I had from Eckhart that you aren’t your mind etc, there was so much resistance to my egotistic 16 year old self lol. And, not at all, a meditation / inquiry habit can be hugely beneficial, but eventually will need to be dropped as a rigid practice and allowed to simply arise as a natural, spontaneous occurrence. Funny thing is you could spontaneously end up meditating at 8am everyday for an hour, but instead it comes from a place of love, instead of a place of rigidity and forcefulness, same “action” yet worlds apart.
  10. @lostmedstudent Awakening to love. When you see everyone and every thing as your very self, and unconditionally love “them” (you) how could you go and murder someone? It’s quite an advanced teaching, but post awakening to love morality is dropped, simply because it isn’t needed, you just live from a place of love. But, remove morals from 99% of the population and you get the purge, so relatively speaking in modern society they play a key function.
  11. @Roy Yeah, look at this article on EMF's and how they alone have impacted things like ADD. https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/article/lifestyle-articles/emf/ Social Media is an amazing tool, but everyone has become so obsessed with it it's hugely out of balance at this point. I feel society needs a cleanse from technology post this lockdown shit, get back into nature, back into doing natural things- socializing, playing sports, playing games, reading, exercising, walking etc. Don't get me wrong I love Social Media, Video Games, TV/ Movies etc, but it's about that balance isn't it, and modern day children are growing up addicted to screens and technology, I think it's even more vital for kids to be kids. Let's just say I think there's a reason Silicon Valley owners and CEO's send their Kids to tech free schools, and don't let their Children on Social Media lol.
  12. @Meta-Man As Ramana always said, 'Silence Is The Highest Teaching.' People get so hooked on their practices like they must meditate 1000 hours a day or they'll never awaken, when of course practices have their place and are extremely beneficial, but it's not as binary as 'Meditate 10,000 hours and you will awaken.' Transmissions for those who are ready are honestly incredible. Nothing helped me more on my own journey. I feel teachers certainly can be very helpful with the integration process and overcoming blockages. We've all been there with that nagging question that just won't leave our head all day lol.
  13. There are Yellow companies out there, but they wouldn't just give a gig to a new salesman I imagine. Yeah, best bet is simply finding a company you believe in, is doing good for the world, and trying to get a marketing or sales job there, or starting your own online business, and doing it that way. Don't set the standard as you have to save humanity with what you are selling at first at least, or you'll create resistance in yourself. Things that truly benefit people's lives are a great start, for example even selling 'novel' things like a Pull-Up bar, done in the right way could be 'Yellow.' I wouldn't recommend getting into industries that actively get people hooked on shit, like fast food/ gambling, but in 2020 you can literally sell anything. Just sell something that benefits people, that could also be entertainment!
  14. Francis is like the gold standard for Western Seekers who want to live life post awakening I feel, he knows life is simply a celebration, is happy as larry, has a happy marriage and plays lots of sport, and isn't Anti- X, Y & Z, what a breath of fresh air. And, yes that is true, similar to how people meditate for decades and just get surface level benefits (which is fine ofc), as they say 'When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.' As a teacher, I guess there is only so much you can do in those situations.
  15. @Raptorsin7 Honestly, it was mainly just meditation and self-inquiry, and then as you know working with Ananda 1-1 and receiving RASA transmissions fortnightly were what worked for me mainly. It wasn’t really practices, more using the practices to overcome blockages and truly realise the nature of my own being, and for helping to integrate the transmissions. I can’t say I would’ve ever got there with just practises alone if I’m honest, some people can, but I just intuively don’t think I would’ve been able to, I think most people need the guidance of a teacher if I’m honest, I’d actually say all at one point or another, whether that’s for the awakening process, or during integration like in OPs case, there’s so many traps and blockages, it just makes the whole process so much smoother. You seem like you’ve been stuck here for a while, I recommend finding a teacher you can work with 1-1 and receiving transmissions.
  16. @Meta-Man Yes, I couldn’t agree more. I did think being around this many awake beings over time, one would at least begin to wake up, especially after a decade. Maybe, such a diverse array of perspectives isn’t as helpful as diving deep with 1 teacher, I guess all the knowledge they have could hold them back. Iain is a great guy as well, if you haven’t, watch his interview with Francis from years ago, by the end he is so bewildered as Francis is just dropping truth bombs beyond Iain’s pay grade at the time
  17. @How to be wise This is completely normal to go through after an awakening, especially if it’s a sudden one or unexpected, remember Eckhart Tolle literally sat on a bench for 2 years lol post his awakening, and Ramana didn’t even speak for years. But, it’s not always like that Rupert Spira for example carried on with life, as he was a seasoned seeker, and it wasn’t so unexpected. In relation to your core question - why do anything - literally because you want to, for the fun of it and to express this understanding of love, happiness and truth in the “world” (yes the world is merely consciousness, but let’s not be semantic, words are limited) Now you have found the source of happiness, you are no longer searching for it in the world, as most of us are used to doing, one way or another. This can then create the dilemma, well I’m happy now so what’s the point ever doing anything. Id say most seekers have that thought at one point or another, and if you truly don’t ever want to do anything again, don’t, you don’t have to at all. However, don’t then think that’s because you’re so awake that you now can’t take action, it’s the opposite in fact. When you truly realise you are the absolute you have the absolute freedom to whatever you want, coming from a place of love, and life simply becomes on big celebration moment to moment. If you haven’t awakened to infinite love, then you aren’t finished, simple as that, and then when you have awakened to infinite love, it will become your driver for everything, the love of life, for “others”, for X/Y/Z etc will then drive your life. So, In terms of a purpose you can start with what you truly love to do, and then to from there!
  18. @Aaron p Have you ever inquired to why you think you NEED to do such long practices and almost struggle your way to awakening, and that if you're not struggling or doing the most in terms of hours you're not getting anywhere. Just a genuine question as if you are doing these with the expectation of eventually becoming awake in some imagined future, maybe it's time to let it all go and realise This is it, and that now is the only time you can awaken, not after you do 7 1000000 hours of meditation and 25 5MEO retreats.
  19. @Meta-Man FFS that Francis interview is gold, wanted to bless the thread with it! I also agree RE: Rick Archer, I watched several and I'm not sure he's always able to handle those who have gone further than him very well, could've changed now though, it's almost like he wants his audience to know he is awake too, and not just the interviewer, but haven't watched in a while! (Rick struggled here, but it was 8 years ago tbf)
  20. @remember I think it's just a matter of taste and it's up to you if you resonate with him Personally, I don't smoke and never will, but around that time smoking was socially acceptable, so I guess context is always important. Also, I do feel we have an ideal of these Gurus that they must maintain to be awake, which I personally don't agree with. I understand your points of Integration and it is essential in living the teachings, and why would someone want to continue harming their body, however, I'm not sure it takes away for their realizations, they are human after all. His teachings and message are very radical, and was very helpful to me, along with Ramana. For example, I don't eat animal products out of wanting to minimize harm, but that doesn't mean I would say you have to be vegetarian to be 'fully awake' many are - Ramana, Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille, I think from love the wanting to kill an animal for your pleasure diminishes, but then is that an awakening issue or an integration issue?
  21. you’ll like this video by Rupert, who essentially summarises this- You can literally do “anything” in order to express this love, and you do what you as a “human” loves!
  22. @Leo Gura ???????? Never agreed with something you’ve written more!
  23. @Javfly33 No offence bro go read “I Am That” it’s regarded as the best Non-Duality book of the 20th century, Nisargatta is as awake as they come, he still smoke cigarettes after awakening, remember culture & society was very very different back then
  24. @Stenne Not at all, basically, use Self-Help for what it is meant to do- HELP YOU, instead of just consuming content and thinking you're getting somewhere. Read a book and before reading another 5, implement the key teachings of the book.
  25. @universe I watched this the other day along with some of his other videos and he makes some good points. Basically, don't fall into the trap of merely consuming PD content without taking action, don't just watch videos of people going to the gym, actually start a Gym Routine. Basically, 20 minutes about that and how certain people will exploit this en masse, which most people know. The equivalent in Non-Duality is reading endless books and watching endless videos without ever actually meditating or 'doing the work' and thinking you are having an impact. Implement what you have learned so far instead of mindlessly consuming more and more without implementing is the message, and I think it's an important one for sure.
