  1. Good advice regarding Porn & masturbation. I'd also look into some supplementation such as Maca, Kratom etc. Also, books like Daniel Rose- Sex God Method (reading it atm) will help you develop your skills massively, I believe it's available on the web somewhere.
  2. @Roy Of course, in fact I was heavily in favor of Bernie & Corbyn last year, for a while at least. I am not associating modern progressives with Communists, but if you go and venture onto Twitter you will be surprised how many 'Progressives' generally say things such as- 'All profit is unethical', 'private property should be abolished', 'if you're not a communist you're a bad person' etc etc That's why I made the distinction that these aren't USSR communists, but the Stage Green bleeding heart types. My issue was that everyone takes things so black and white, hence where my post came from. I know the majority are not hard communists, but being young and around young people, and seeing the kind of University politics we do in the UK, if you basically have any other opinion other than 'Hard Left' you kind of get ostracized. Genuinely, people are afraid to admit they voted for the conservatives, in fear of being ridiculed, to me, everyone has the right to their opinion, and should not be in fear of personal attacks because of that opinion, of course if they are inciting hate speech & what not, that is a different matter. My overall point is that most seem to look at things in extremes or black and whites, instead of realizing the benefits and drawbacks to each system. Like I said, I look forward to a day when we don't have to see things in 'Left/Right' and everyone seems to be divided, but a day where we can work together and debate healthily to find the best outcomes in each situation, instead of 'If you don't agree with me, we will ridicule you.' I, too share your concerns hugely regarding PC, cancel culture & also Free Speech. And, just to be clear, I have no political affiliation, I guess I used to be somewhat of a leftist, but if I'm honest the lack of empathy and ability to listen to other people's opinions in that bubble worries me, as well as the inability to accept a loss (Brexit) seemed all but democratic to me. Like, I said, I look forward to the day where we aren't all divided by the simple notions of 'Left vs Right' 'Communist vs Capitalist' and fall into ideology and division.
  3. Gojiman is a bit of a legend in the Gut Health scene, he was a voice of reason when so many vegans were turning to carnivore diets last year.
  4. @Roy Yeah, I agree, but I just don't agree with the communist attitude of everyone deserves the same and never will I'm afraid, but I definitely agree the inequality gap we see in society needs to be addressed, although if I'm honest I see communism being used to further centralize power and control as humanities current level of consciousness. @Leo Gura Sounds like the fairest solutions, It seems in the current climate most small business owners end up paying more taxes than the likes of Amazon, which is absurd. Are you talking about a progressive level of taxation?
  5. I'd say most of the people you see peddling it are simply green bleeding hearts, a bit like the extreme vegan activists. The issue is, most have a lack of understanding of economics, business, government, how corrupt humans in power are etc, and think it will transform into some dystopia. Also, I've noticed recently how people LOVE extremes, it's either Capitalism or Communism or full Socialism, I look forward to when more tier 2 people start evolving and seeing through the façade of Left / Right, and start seeing the potential of a truly hybrid system where people actually work together, now that'll be when politics gets interesting!
  6. Hey guys, This year I've made myself dive into all forms of nutrition and fitness personalities from several walks of life, and not just my own biases, my fave so far has certainly been Ben Greenfield for a holistic approach to fitness, building muscle and everything health. So far I've managed to quit Caffeine (HIGHLY recommend doing this!), replace Peanut Butter with Almond Butter, Fast every day until 12PM (will now be adding in Celery Juice lol), realized several deficiencies in my diet and addressed them- Specifically with EAAS, Creatine & Taurine, discovered the power of the WHM and Cold therapy / heat therapy and the simple power of doing 10k steps a day for fat loss. But, the craziest one I'm now exposing myself to has to be The Medical Medium. He claims to get his knowledge from Spirit and can identify people's illnesses through intuition, I have watched a couple Podcasts and bought a couple books that I've just started reading, and I must admit so far I'm very impressed. I've decided to try some of his principles for the next 6 months such as - 16-32 oz of Lemon Water upon waking, 16 oz of Celery Juice on an empty stomach every single morning, no 'radical fats' until the afternoon, a heavy focus on Fruits and Vegetables (do this anyways) and I'm sure upon reading I'll find some more things. He will certainly ruffle a few feathers not only because of the spirit thing, but also as he's not a big fan of high fat, high protein diets which a huge proportion of the health field is, and that includes Keto vegan/ Plant Based diets. I'll drop his link explaining the Celery Juice stuff, a lot of people only do 30 days which isn't enough imo, I feel 6-12 months is a much fairer test - https://www.medicalmedium.com/medical-medium-celery-juice-movement.htm Here's his lists of foods to avoid, he basically claims Eggs are the worst food you can eat as they feed ALL of the bacteria and viruses inside of us, personally I'll never eat Eggs again anyways, but it was an interesting listen when he said that - https://www.medicalmedium.com/blog/foods-to-avoid-for-healing-chronic-illness Anyways, have a read, I know I will be and I would say before getting defensive, test these things that's what I like to do! But, there is not a one size fits all solution when it comes to this at all, and all our bodies are unique!
  7. This one hit me hard today... Essentially going over how caffeine robs us of our true motivation, and gets us hooked. I have had no issues coming off Coffee as Chris Masterjohn said it wasn't ideal for Corona, but that's only because I drink 3-4 cups of Green Tea a day. Caffeine is very embedded in our culture. I feel I'll need a week off of work to fully kick the addiction and get back to normal functioning, funnily enough I've only had the habit for a year, and really thought Green Tea was healthy! Time to find some awesome Decaf herbal teas I guess! anyways, what's your guys views on Caffeine, been able to overcome the addiction? Still drink it regularly? I was most shocked as majority of doctors& Health/ Fitness seem to recommend it as okay- Dr Gregor, Dr Mercola, Ben Greenfield (he sells it)
  8. @Aaron p I’d say that relates to happiness @Member who said you can’t be happy and cry? Sometimes a good cry is exactly what we need, feel that emotion! And, well we all poo, physical processes won’t go away until the body does!
  9. @WaveInTheOcean Awesome trip report man! You got it! Love love love love, life is just so fucking good! You’re lucky to have close friends involved in Non-Duality, most of mine don’t use Psyches in the best way, hence I never really joined in, and when I did once it was a disaster?
  10. For the fun, love, joy and quite simply because you want to! (There’s also practical reasons, like if you need money to survive) You don’t have to if you don’t want to. This can be an issue when you try too hard to conflate the absolute with the relative in this way. Yes everything is perfect, but does that mean suddenly the wars in Syria have stopped? Or on a more relative notion, that you neger have to earn money again etc? But if I was to sum it up in one word- Love. “Peace is happiness at rest, happiness is peace in motion”
  11. Precisely, I envy the kids of the 3000s who will get 'taught' this from day 1! @Member You'll come to find, that happiness precisely is our natural state. Just look at Babies and Children, they are as close to this natural state as anyone, why do you think it is referred to as a 'Child Like state' ?
  12. @TripleFly Agree. Sometimes, it seems truth without love is a fast track to a strange form Nihilism. Follow your heart.
  13. How about doing it because you love it every single day at the same time? you could still do that in a spontaneous matter & out of the life for doing it even if you did it say everyday at the same time, like Electro said, it’s all about your intention!
  14. @dimitri So true!!! Like if I say don’t think about pink elephants, what are you going to think about? @Billy Shears Id recommend looking deep inside yourself into the positives alcohol is giving you, or the perceived positives & why are you drinking so frequently? This way you can get what alcohol is giving you from much healthier sources and start a habit replacement journey, so if it’s feeling good, you can start eating healthier and exercising to feel good naturally, and if it’s confidence you can learn social skills and develop your social circle and relationships so you develop natural confidence etc!
  15. Hey bro, your case is unique and sounds like you’re drinking from a place of lack, instead of a place of celebration and fun. Have you considered other means to cope with your emotions and what not when you feel down?
  16. Said just like good old Francis Lucillle, I wish he never closed access to his old blog. @Meta-Man do you have any access to it, there was so many golden responses on it, including the perfect response for this thread!
  17. Yeah. I drink most weekends with my friends when we go out. Why? Because it’s fun, and life is for enjoying yourself! Although, when “seeking” I hardly drunk as much, and I had a 3 month break during lockdown, it’s good to have breaks here and there. And, if you’re going to drink, make sure to prepare, I have hangover pills (god send, taken them last night and this morning and I feel normal already), lemon water, celery juice, cold shower & then a healthy breakfast and pre drinking meal to help minimise the damage and after effects as much as possible! Also, learn your limits and when you feel your best drinking and go from there!
  18. These are such great points. Regarding the all is you point, that is key. Ramana Maharshi didn’t eat animals for that reason. Francis & Rupert Spira don’t for that reason too, spiritual beings have been abiding meat for millennia (Buddha!) I actually disagree with my own teachers on this who eat meat, like you say it is decades of conditioning that usually needs a guiding voice to help you see it. For example Francis learned about vegetarianism from Jean Klein, and then Rupert from Francis. Most have no idea what goes into this industry. And, like you say arguing with fandoms online or offline is pointless, I rarely even mention it to my friends anymore.
  19. Plan your meals ahead of time, talk to your parents and ask if they can buy you certain food. Also, unless you're preparing for some fitness competition, give yourself some leeway, or you'll end up destroying yourself mentally, 90/10 is a good aim to shoot for, meaning when you do eat unhealthy, you simply allow and enjoy the experience, instead of beating yourself up!
  20. This is it I think, I feel habits can last long after the realisation unless the particular behaviour issue and causes are addressed, and many may not want to give up coffee/ food/ nicotine etc, and may not see it as detrimental so that’s always another factor! Nisgardatta Maharaj is the obvious example, he chain smoked like a chimney.
  21. @modmyth I agree with you about not being uptight, but after looking into the motives behind lab meat and the nutrition it contains I am just choosing to avoid it. Im also not that uptight about my food, sorry if it appears so on here, I’m not meaning to at all tbh, I’d say I eat 90% healthy, but I still drink alcohol and have a cheat meal from time to time without worrying about it. I agree with worrying and fear etc effecting is just as much, if you want to enjoy some ice cream, go enjoy it. Im just talking about the majority of the time and the fundamentals of a healthy diet and lifestyle, and what I’ve found works best for me, and so far it’s been a whole foods plant based diet, with medical medium style advice, but slightly higher protein and fat due to wanting to progress in fitness, it’s a different balance for everyone for sure
  22. @modmyth I wouldn’t be so sure, I personally wouldn’t touch lab grown meat with a 10 foot barge pole, it is certainly the furthest thing from natural food imo. @Applegarden I agree RE: Lab Grown meat, just no. @leogura fair enough mate, I wish you the best of luck with your condition.
  23. Good to say a Medical Medium follower here, he's defo a legend, share your exact diet if you don't mind bro. I would URGE you to avoid this GMO shit like the plague, unless you want to slowly get sicker with each meal, this shit is going to be poison, if you're not going to eat animal products please eat wholefoods, not the shitty GMO vegan junk foods out there. This is coming from someone who's been vegan for 5 years now. Leo, I would strongly advise you to read the Medical Medium's book on Thyroid healing mate, the guy knows what he's talking about. At the minimum start drinking 16oz Celery juice every morning on an empty stomach, the shittier it tastes the more toxins you've got that need to be cleared. Also, expect to be 'cleared out' for the first couple of weeks after you drink it. I would recommend drinking it for 6-12 months before evaluating the effects. A lot of the negative reviews are either from people who don't like the fact Anthony claims to be a medium, or people who haven't tried it and have preconceived notions on his advice. Of course it won't work for 100% of people, but he's helped heal 1000s, which from what it sounds like, is exactly what you need. Look at the reviews and testimonials from actual people! https://www.amazon.com/Medical-Medium-Thyroid-Healing-Hypothyroidism/dp/1401948367/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2Z3HMD9VMAN30&dchild=1&keywords=thyroid+healing+medical+medium&qid=1594203521&s=books&sprefix=thyroid+hea%2Caps%2C390&sr=1-1#customerReviews
  24. Sorry this just isn't true at all. The NOW is all that exists, you are always in the now, whether you are conscious of it or not, and whether you are thinking or not. Of course, things such as meditation, transmissions, Psyches, awakenings etc can all increase awareness of the presence within us, and make it clearer and clearer that our true nature is beyond thought. BUT, this doesn't mean thoughts don't have their place and aren't helpful, for example, when doing work, or planning a trip is a great time to use thoughts, but once done, you simply put your tool that is the mind away. True peace, is when you can be happy & at peace whether there is thoughts or not, then you are in a truly 'thoughtless' state as thoughts lose their power over you. Sorry, but this is a common misconception & I didn't want Op to get confused,
