This post was motivated by constantly seeing a lot of 'spiritual' people not truly understanding the beauty and divine that can be found within sport! Firstly, I am not saying Sport in our modern society is perfect, but I feel that is more a reflection of the Stage Orange society we live in, just like 'Football Hooliganism' was fueled from a Stage Red shadow. Sport itself is simply a game that is made for people to have fun, enjoy and express themselves. The purpose of sport is to have fun and fall in love with the game as many do! Of course this can get lost, and other things can take over, especially in some Professionals lives, but the reason we start playing sport is because we enjoy it, because it's fun. After all, life is a game, so why not enjoy the games within the game To me, Sport is an artform, it is divine creativity. The ability to pick the perfect pass in football, to shoot the winning 3 in Basketball, to play the perfect cover drive in Cricket is a skill that is honed over 1000s of hours of practice and dedication to the art form. Sadhguru always puts it well and says how being a 'Sport' is a great message for life. Learning to play within the rules of life, wanting to win (of course!) but being okay when you lose and gracious in defeat provide incredible life lessons. This article and video sums it up well- https://isha.sadhguru.org/us/en/wisdom/sadhguru-spot/be-a-sport My favorite quote is this- “In kicking a ball or playing a game, you are much closer to the Divine than you will ever be in prayer.” Because you can pray without involvement, but you cannot play sports without involvement, and involvement is the essence of life.' Sports get you involved in life, they are a great meditation. Of course sports can be evolved instead of wanting to be better than your mate, become the best you can be for the love of the game, to enjoy the game even more, to have even more fun and be more involved! I'm also going to share my favorite sporting events, and encourage everyone else to do so too, to show how beautiful sports can truly be, and how beautiful this play of life, just like any other can be incredibly beautiful! Sport is truly one of my passions, and I'm simply sharing this to help people understand the true beauty of sport, not to suggest it is better than any other activity, we are all unique and beautiful beings with our own passions and loves in life! (Biased clips as I'm a Liverpool fan lmao) 2019 was a great year (skip to last minute) A true master of his art, Jurgen Klopp Sport can get you so in touch with the now, so involved with life! I can't wait to see it develop further as society develops!

@Visionary By still realising you are playing to win, without attaching your happiness to winning / losing, so you have the freedom from outcome and can play your best. Sometimes you just gotta be practical Im biased but look at Liverpool over the last 2 seasons, the will to fight to the end, the incredible mentality & tbe never give up attitude, all coming from a deep desire of wanting to win, you still need that if you’re going to be successful in life, even though you now know it’s just for the fun of it! Francis Lucille covers it well- -

Yep, I think anyone who takes this path goes through this at one point or another, whether it’s pre awakening or post. In your case, it sounds like you need an awakening to love & realise that infinite love is all that exists, then life simply becomes an endless celebration of love, and you see the human experience simply as a way to express love, happiness and joy. like a never ending vacation But, it doesn’t mean you won’t have emotions or human issues, but it will mean you’ll stop resisting them, and you won’t view life from this nihilistic viewpoint. Matt Kahn is a particularly good teacher for integrating Love, my personal Davies are Francis Lucille, and then Ramaji / Ananda Devi. They have a love meditation on their YT actually. -
Yeah, you can build your audience from the ground up, I and plenty of self publishers have done it, you just need $$ to grow your email list & FB group with a lead magnet and then you have fans wanting to buy your books. Going the traditional route is a bit silly no offence. You just need to learn basic marketing and sales if you’re gonna succeed, believe me.

Tbh, I actually agree with you regarding the Tens & Units, it’s more the 100s and the differences there that matter, although the “500s” have subtle differences in the 10s. I would recommend reading the book, all it is, is a model, it’s not perfect & it can’t truly define reality as it’s a model. In my experience it is very accurate & helpful, but like anything needs to be let go of eventually. Reading the book will clear a lot up for you I think, and if you don’t resonate, no big deal. -

The best way of putting it I have found is this. If someone isn't awakened, has little interested in spirituality etc, it is much easier to suggest they have Free Will, because telling them they don't leads to things like Nihilism and destructive behavior, imagine telling a Psychopath they have no free will, that would be abused. When you awaken, the question almost dissolves itself, as there is no separate self to have free will or not. Ramaji & Ananda had a satsang a few months back on this and one of the students put it perfectly, that you eventually drop this notion of Free Will or Not, all that matters is the actual action, which is always spontaneous, and where the action is coming from which will be on behalf of love & understanding. All that matters is the action itself, it is always spontaneous and it is always now. If you're asking if you have free will or not, you're missing the mark. 'To know and not to do, is not to know.' - Famous Zen proverb, that explains this perfectly. Act on behalf of the Self always, and that also applies to your 'personal' life! -
@Don Wei Look into Self-Publishing. Write your stories and learn true marketing & branding. You can literally make millions doing what you love. Of course you need money to start though, so maybe finish your degree, save some money from your engineering job, while working on your writing & stories.

@Leo Gura Lmao, this is why we need more Conscious people in business & high-earning positions, only a matter of time! -

@tuckerwphotography @beastcookie How are your sessions going now with Ananda? It took me 9 months of regular sessions (1-2 a month, usually 2) to finish. I still see her from time to time just to catchup, and eventually want to be able to give RASA and help people 1-1 myself, I can't describe how much she helped me, her and Ramaji are amazing. I feel a lot more teachers would benefit from offering 1-1 sessions, to me it is far more personal and helpful than any Video, book or even retreat is. (not saying they aren't helpful, they of course are!) It certainly isn't a quick fix though, and involves doing LOTS of your own work & integration...believe me! -
Read Multi Orgasmic Man. Most of us do not really want to do Semen Retention / No Masturbation, we have high sex drives, and end up repressing them which creates conflict within us. Of course does that want to be celibate naturally (E.g. Ramana Maharshi) that's up to them, but it doesn't mean we have to be at all. But, as you say 'releasing' too much, can drain us of energy & focus etc. This is where the Taoist methods of Mantak Chia's books can really help in allowing our sexual energy to truly flourish, and even having orgasms, without ejaculating (which is what really drains us), I'm not saying never ejaculate, but just not every time.

Here's a great place to start for those wanting to go from A-L - https://www.selfdevelopmentsecrets.com/best-self-help-books/#:~:text=30 Best Self Help Books | Top Personal, that you should develop. ... More items... Think of it like a Pyramid (Maslow...) once you awaken you don't necessarily 'lose' all of your Self-Help, Relationship, Business, Health work etc, it just evolves further and develops consciously, unless you want to live in a monastery of course. Spirituality and Self-Help AREN'T MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE!! You can do BOTH! If anything, it's more powerful that way. The best advice would be to figure out where your biggest struggles are in life first, then target that area to begin with. -

Defo bro, it’s why I preach so much about the importance of fundamentals, it’s easy to be peaceful on top of the Himalayas but try it with 2 screaming kids and a loan shark at the door Although, with time & deepening of your awakenings, the background of peace and happiness that is your true nature will never go. Of course you’ll be stressed and tired or angry from time to time, but that’s called emotions. I would highly recommend saving enough money to either start an online business & pursue financial freedom, or try to get a job you T least enjoy since it is such a huge part of life. -
Can help but not necessary, personally for the average young person who has a high sex drive, it may end up doing more harm than good. (Unless it’s a short term thing like a 90 day nofap reboot) but whatever you repress will just come back stronger and stronger, so be aware of that. If you want an example of natural celibacy, look at Ramana, he just didn’t want to have sex post awakening- fair enough. If you want to see forced / unnatural celibacy look at Priests / Monks who end up with sexual abuse & even abusing children, as Sex just goes in the shadow and manifests in horrific ways. In my own journey, nothing helped more than transmissions, and as a result of awakening I am trying to quit porn & focus on real sex & healthy sexuality & developing my own sexuality. There are no rules, many awakened masters are celibate, many are married or in relationships. Everyone is unique, for me, I will be having sex for the foreseeable future, but I can see how it could be beneficial in the right situation.

In terms of sexuality- The multi orgasmic man by Mantak Chia Sex God Method by Daniel Rose Great sex will solve a lot of your problems

I sincerely hope you're joking. This is exactly how 'enlightened' spiritual teachers justify sexually or emotionally abusing their students, along with seeing themselves as superior. Relatively speaking there's a lot wrong with rape. Speak to Rape / Abuse survivors to see how much suffering and trauma it causes them, I'm talking decades of substance abuse, depression & various other mental disorders, all because reliving that pain & working through it is too much for many people. Rape & Abuse 'relatively' speaking is not something that should be taken lightly. -

Again I’m biased, but read the book: 1000 by Ramaji. It is a model (so has its limitations and isn’t perfect!) for “stages” & “depths” of awakening, “Neo-Advaitan” is very early stage awakening, typical “No-Self” nobody here kind of stuff. Rupert Spira is much more deeply awakened, although I find his descriptions are too wordy, often over complex & this can put people off. Personally, I think his teacher Francis Lucille is such a great teacher, greatly explains & answers each question, and the peace & happiness simply radiates off him. If you wanna hear a truly awakened being, read / listen to Ramana Maharshi, although the translations make it tough at times, hence why I recommend Rupert or Francis Lucille as since they speak English it is much easier to comprehend and the right words are used semantically speaking. But yeah, read 1000, I used to have the same issue as you but with Eckhart Tolle, that book was the most life changing book I ever read in the end for me! -

This sounds like an early No-Self awakening, my advice would be to integrate it into your life & understand what you are going through. At the same time ask questions like- Is No-Self really final answer? What is Love? What are the best ways for this Body/Mind to express happiness? (can literally be anything, mine are Sports, Business, Socializing & Deep Relationships, eventually Teaching as well!) Does anything exist outside of the absolute? Also, I'm biased but I recommend reading 1000 by Ramaji to understand the stages of awakening & how to deepen and integrate your own awakening. Enjoy! Oh, and here's the most important thing to do- ENJOY LIFE!!!! -
The only solution to this problem is awakening, you are coming at this from a seekers POV. You don't need to keep any ideas / concepts constantly going round in your head at all, you don't need to repeat to yourself that you're God at all times. Whether they are aware of it or not, everyone is the Absolute / God etc, awakening is simply realizing this (and many other things ofc!) and then abiding as this in all areas of life. Eventually what happens, is it is like you are meditating 24/7 and are simply conscious of your true nature no matter what you are doing, whether it's formally meditating or studying. Also, don't think enlightenment is all that matters in life, if we didn't have all other subjects we wouldn't have developed so much as a species over the last few centuries, in fact awakening can help improve all areas of human life. If you want to go and be a monk, do it, nobody is stopping you, maybe it is what you need. But, what people are pointing out is you don't NEED to be a Monk to awaken, and in fact life is often the greatest spiritual teacher of all! THIS +1 It is easy to constantly be at peace meditating for hours in the Himalayas all day, how about being at peace with 2 screaming kids & running on 4 hours sleep, now that would be impressive. IMO there's still a place for Monkhood and Monasteries, but the days of leaving society to awaken are over, sure if you need to do it for a while, but more than ever we need awakened beings to permeate all areas of society to help transform society in a loving way, and make the world as a whole a more conscious place. That isn't gonna happen my meditating in a cave all day, not saying there isn't a place for Monks, but if all awakened beings fucked off to the forests, who's going to run society? The unconscious people!

I think every western seeker goes through this thought process in the early stages of their seeking journey, I know I did for a long time. The answer can be found in The ten Ox Herding pictures & Zen Buddhism, in which ones 'students' Awakened, they returned to the marketplace, and lived from this new found understanding, from a place of love in THEIR own way, for some this may mean running a monastery, for some it may mean raising a family & for some it may mean starting some form of a conscious business. We are all unique beings, with unique personalities & make-ups, so there isn't a one size fits all solution, do what you LOVE. If you LOVE the idea of being a monk and want to become a Monk, go do it. I would suggest doing a 7-30 day 'Monk Test' where you live like a Monk at home and see if it actually is the kind of lifestyle you need. Monks go so hardcore as they want the answers, the realizations and the happiness, but you don't HAVE to be a monk to get there, not at all. In fact most modern teachers are far from monks- Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille, Ramaji, Adyashanti, Leo, Eckhart Tolle etc etc. What you realize on this path is that true awakening is the only way to lasting happiness, BUT, EVERYTHING else is then simply an expression of happiness, and you can pursue it if you want to. For example, a relationship will NEVER give you lasting happiness, but it can be a great way to express & deepen your happiness, love and connection and can bring many great things to your life. Be careful on oversimplifying such complex topics such as awakening. As Leo said, it seems where you are right now, mastering the fundamentals would be more beneficial. While getting in shape, making lots of money, learning social skills etc won't give you lasting peace/ happiness, it will certainly make you feel better, improve your life & bring many benefits, things aren't as black and white as you are making out! Remember, spirituality is about helping us enjoy life more, not torture ourselves and give up everything we love!
-
Second this!!! But, like others said don't kill yourself or change too much all at once, you could end up creating backlash. It's like going from never exercising to a 5 day a week workout routine. Take it slowly, one meal at a time. Also, don't worry about being perfect, 90/10 is a good ratio to aim for, and when you 'mess up' learn why you did it, what lead to that behavior and if you want to stop it in the future. When you do 'indulge' just enjoy it without Guilt. God luck, transforming your diet and exercise routine is imo one of the most important foundations for a healthy & happy life!

Good work bro, glad to hear you're happy. Enjoy this incarnation, while it lasts -
Potentially, I think 90% of guys will be like that so bollocks and just not do it lmao, which is a shame, I can't imagine going back, he recommends for 20-30-year-olds ejaculation once every 4 days if you wish too. Mantak is from Taoism which of course teaches a lot about Non-Duality from an ancient Taoist perspective. Thank you, I will check this out

@humanProcess I thought it was all bollocks before I read it, but it literally changes your life. Instead of feeling tired you feel energized after sex
