Great advice bro! This is SO true. People hear everything is meaningless and automatically assume that’s negative. it’s not . In reality, it’s the greatest gift & gives us complete freedom to enjoy life and do what we want.

Hey, Everyone, I'm new around here and had a question regarding my current strategy. I left school last June and ever since have been building Online Businesses and have been doing fairly well for myself so far, and while I absolutely LOVE what I do and helping people with my products, I'm not sure it's truly my life purpose although I definitely believe entrepreneurship is. I've heard Leo say about being strategic in life, so before I go through the Life Purpose course and start working on that I was thinking of continuing on my current path for the next few years, building my income up to a point that will provide me with everything I need financially and allow me freedom etc, and then begin to outsource the majority of my businesses to continue to grow them as hands-off as possible. I also plan to reinvest a lot of my earnings into Stocks, Real Estate and other businesses etc to properly secure my financial wellbeing and freedom, as I never want to have to work a 9-5 purely for survival reasons. I was thinking of putting everything into this until I'm around 23-25 (20 next week) and fully securing myself financially before fully diving into my life purpose. So, I was just wondering if this is the kind of thing everyone means by strategic planning and what you thought of this @Leo Gura as I know you had a business pre Actualized.org. Again and thanks everyone and I look forward to a great discussion!

So, I was speaking with a friend who’s family is very Christian, and she asked about spirituality etc, and I said about non-duality, spiritual teachers, meditation, awakening etc She said, she has never been “allowed” to do these practices as in Some forms of Christianity it is seen as “Satanic” and basically not following the path of Jesus. I remember seeing an article regarding Eckhart Tolle saying you had to pick Jesus or him, and this lady had picked Jesus and fundamental religion. As soon as she said this, it showed me how sneaky stages can be to keep their grip & control, to keep things the way that best suits them- lots of believers etc. My question is then, how do we help people see through this? My approach was how happy & peace I feel & how without awakening none of this would’ve been possible. @No Self Luckily, she’s not sold on the ideology, and she’s very open minded, but it is interesting how these people operate. But, yes it is what it is, we can’t do much really, can we?

@Gesundheit you’re right, it’s regression from my biased view point & using SD. Correct. And, yes I need to finish watching that series, so it basically a personalised SD?

@Gesundheit How do you explain such regression? I think SD isn’t necessarily meant for individual evaluations always, as this seems very much a personality thing, like when you browse his channel & how he tends to the extremes, I’m sure it will be something else in a few years l.

@Shin You’re certainly right, everything that happened, happened exactly as I needed to. But, you just asked if I felt sorry for younger self, that was all. Im certainly not denying it happened the way it meant to, and as you say, for these people it’s the same. God works in mysterious ways I guess it’s a refined skill knowing when to help & when not to, it’s easy to always think you should, hence why I’m not a teacher ?

And, I know the hedonistic, materialistic life I was heading for. @Husseinisdoingfine LOL, I’ve seen this guy on so many vegan videos, it always baffles me when people regress like this. I guess it comes from mental instability, or not solidifying in a stage, or what else do you think it is? Maybe the need to have a distinct ideology & an enemy in this case Vegans & New Agee’s, which are often the same. @The Lucid Dreamer The funny thing is, she already seems like an Orange / Green, but I guess being brought up in that environment will always have an effect!

@Shin great point! it’s more I just feel sorry for how much these people are limiting themselves, but like you say, let them be, tbf, she’s really open to discussing it, and looking at different perspectives. I also meant how do you disprove this notion, like obviously we know it’s baloney, not to convince anyone necessarily.

Also, they tend to discredit Non-Duality by describing it with simplistic terms such as Oneness = Monism God / The Self is everything = pantheism I guess they also deny people’s awakenings, happiness & peace. Im so thankful of Spiral Dynamics to help understand the psychology of different people at different stages of development.

As Rupert so greatly says- Meditation isn't something you do, it's what you are. Formal meditation is awesome, I think Guided Meditations are great for beginners & newbies, and I still use sleep meditations some nights! But, as you say, true meditation is simply allowing ourselves to rest as primordial awareness, and it's beautiful. What's even better is when life is a 24/7 meditation

@Javfly33 Adya meditated for 7 years, Zen style, before his first awakening. I think you’re getting him confused with someone like Eckhart Tolle or Ramana.

So, on Facebook several people I'm friends with from the industry I'm in are big Trump fans, it's quite the contrast from here, of course. But, I mean predicting a big Trump win, the kind of Conservative win we saw in the UK last year. Yet, I see a lot of people on here predicting a Biden win, but on there, I see a lot of people predicting a Trump win. I also hear from a few associates who are heavily into political gambling that they are doubling down on Trump. It really confuses me as how can both sides be so sure they're going to win? Here's an example of what I mean-

@Forestluv Thanks for using A football analogy, you know your target market And, I got you, but wasn’t this similar in 2016, didn’t trump have even less chance of winning then? I guess we shall see come Election Day, if only it was actually a sporting event, sounds like it would make for a great derby day.
