  1. Just so you know Leo is one of very few 'Spiritual Teachers' that heavily promotes psychedelics. In fact, most rarely if ever mention them in their teachings. Quite a few actually don't advocate taking Psychedelics.
  2. @aurum Hardly anyone knows how the private banking system works / how money & where money is actually created. I recently got a bank loan for my business, and it’s literally just digits just appearing on a screen, and then you pay it back + interest, and for those who can’t (there’s going to be a lot due to Covid) guess what the bank get? the real assets
  3. Just found out about Grounding from Wim Hof video comments and went down the rabbit hole, and found this documentary, definitely worth a watch! Ended up buying a grounding sheet & pillow for sleep, mat for when working & even for my shoes. Going to also incorporate some actual Grounding in my daily routine, although it's harder in the UK with shitty, rainy weather! Anyways, This is the documentary:
  4. @DocWatts That is such a succinct & great point, thanks for putting it so simply! And, of course society should at least begin to help people fulfil their potential on a “human” level & help them awaken, but were 1000s of years away from that it seems, I think your idea makes much more sense for the more short term evolution
  5. @DocWatts ^^^^ Agree. I think we tend to think in extremes a lot which is amplified by the media & division we see today. Capitalism Vs Socialism Capitalism vs Communism Even, Socialism vs Communism which is a big one on Twitter haha. I think any ideology will eventually rot itself, Leo's conscious politics do a really good job of explaining this, and explaining how an open minded idea to policies would be so beneficial and basing it on Results, not simply ideologies.
  6. @Preety_India sure, I was just talking about action we can all take like now, if you get me, to create abundance & freedom in our own lives, that’s all If I’m honest, I don’t know the ins & outs of different socialist systems to say for sure either way, it’s become quite a loaded term these days.
  7. I also wanted to add on a more personal level you can certainly create wealth “consciously” with a job / career / business / investments that is focused on helping people in whatever form that takes for you & not exploiting people. For example- look at Leo, the guy who created SOMA breathing, Wim Hof, numerous spiritual teachers, conscious nutritionists & personal trainers, it can even be done with businesses in fields like gardening, carpentry, cleaning etc etc literally anything! If you’re solving people’s problems, helping people, not exploiting customers / workers, then it’s a win/win, and can be done in SOOO many ways. I know we talk a lot about societal change & the collective level, but meaningful work / business on a personal level can create wealth, consciously & shouldn’t be overlooked!
  8. Conscious Capitalism, when the person using that phrase doesn't even have the slightest idea what consciousness truly is, quite ironic really. I genuinely don't know much about wholefoods, except the memes & a reaction video on YouTube to people meeting their soulmate in Wholefoods, genuinely one of the funniest videos I've ever seen. It was essentially a satire of Green run amok. @Leo Gura I see you criticize both Capitalism & Socialism from such a non-ideological perspective, it's really refreshing, as most come from a highly biased perspective & agenda. What do you see as a natural progression to Green & then Yellow in our lifetime, as you've said before outright Communism & Abolishing Private Property is unlikely to happen for 1000s of years, so just wondering your perspective on the next 'stage' of our evolution, so to speak.
  9. @IAmReallyImportant If you're finding it beneficial keep going. Also, remember, enlightenment isn't the only 'benefit' psychics/ healers can bring, for example they can help in many other different areas of life, and that may be just what you need!
  10. I really enjoyed that article, thank you, it was really interesting to see the different layers of our being that music can penetrate & how almost like medicine, we need different doses of different medications at different times, and as with all things there are no one size fits all solutions. Beautiful!
  11. @Cosmin_Visan Language is of course relatively helpful, it just won't give you the full picture or the experiential understandings. BUT, a theoretical / language understanding can help lay the foundations for such experiential understandings, and are in most cases necessary. There ARE extreme cases- Eckhart Tolle & Ramana Maharshi for example- where spontaneous awakening occurred, but often this is followed by several years of intense integration / disorientation- Eckhart sat on a bench for 2 years & Ramana had to be force fed. It is false to assume language has no use, but it is also false to assume the finger is also the moon, the nuance lies in between these & eventually a time will come when the language (in regards to Non-Duality) becomes less & less useful & will, naturally, be dropped & may return to help other beings, but will not be necessary in your own life. You seem like you want to explore the theoretical side of Non-Duality, and there are plenty of books, videos, teachings out there that will allow you to do that. I linked several resources that you may find interesting in your other thread.
  12. @IAmReallyImportant One thing you'll have to learn about Reality / Non-Duality- It's paradoxical as fuck. For example, you have a personality / individuality, yet there's not separate self & all that exists is THIS. In regards to your point though, why would you be a 'new soul' could you not just be on a journey of growth / mission in each particular incarnation in the same soul? As the Sufi's say- we are all dreams in the mind of God. You know how people often say- 'I know I have a mission here' or a 'purpose' of course absolutely Purpose is relative, but maybe that is your souls calling in this incarnation, or a continuation from the last incarnation? While this is fun to talk about, the most important 'thing' in this journey to me is God Realization, and becoming aware of your true being & abiding as that in all realms of life. Things like Past life clearings & healing can help us get there for example.
  13. On that note, does anyone have any resources on Past Life healing / understanding, I remember @Leo Gura you mentioned going to a psychic / healer along these lines. Any books / websites/ teachings etc?
  14. People have different views of past lives, Psychics, different species and things like starseeds etc I think Past Lives are defo a thing, I can't validate this but there's a lot of 'evidence' around I've also heard a lot of people say 'Past Life' work helped clear out certain blockages & long standing issues, It's something I want to explore in more detail. What is definitely true is some people are certainly more spiritually attuned, I mean how else do you explain Ramana Maharshi spontaneously awakening after an accidental inquiry, compared to some taking decades worth of seeking? And, like you said you have a natural inclination for this work, just like we have natural physical abilities & some people have 'better' genetics in terms of things like building muscle. In regards to infinity post death, I feel what you're saying proves it more than anything. The body shuts down, you bask in infinity for a while, get bored & then decide to incarnate again? Maybe after X amount of incarnations you'll chill longer, or maybe you'll come back again. But, if what's she is saying is true, it more points to the fact that the death of the body is far from the 'end.'
  15. I get your gripe, it sounds a little like you have an issue with Neo-Advaita, which is fair enough, at least in my view, as it comes from a mechanical repetition of ideas as you said. Have you checked out the works of 'Non-Duality Philosophers' such as Rupert Spira & Francis Lucille. They dive a lot deeper into Non-Duality and may help satisfy what you're after, they also have specific writings / teachings regarding Ne-Advaita and how mechanical repetition of these ideas, without the experiential understanding does nothing for us, infact, it simply adds a veneer of Pseudo-Non-Duality which if anything makes us more confused. Simply saying 'Suffering is an illusion' while your life is a living hell, is very different from an experiential understanding of say, Infinite Love and then using the medium of words, or whatever else, to help others get to that experiential understanding. In fact, Rupert has recently been doing Podcasts with other Philosophers & what not, so that may be of interest to you- ‎‎https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/rupert-spira-podcast/id1494564673 Here's also a basic introduction to Francis' work with several hundred questions from seekers over the years- https://francis.ugjka.net/eng/index.html They both come from the same lineage. I know you won't want to hear this and think of it as 'Woo-Woo' or 'Flowery' but Non-Duality ultimately is about experiential understanding, not theoretical. I also wanted to add whoever said Individuality is an illusion, I would regard as incorrect, even post 'Enlightenment' (very exotic term, I know) there is still a personality and 'individuality' but you just know yourself not to simply be a separate self. For example, Rupert, Francis, Ramana Maharshi, Sadhguru etc etc all have very different personalities. My advice would be delve through some of the philosophical side of Non-Duality since it seems like that's what your after & then maybe the sentences won't seem so robotic. But, I also do agree when it doesn't come from a place of understanding, and is simply being parroted it is hardly helpful at all. Hope you enjoy the podcasts & reading through some of the Q&As, both also have websites & YouTube channels, as well as interviewes & speeches on YouTube at places like 'Science & Non-Duality.' Enjoy.
  16. No music to add, but LOVE this thread & wanted to add a quote from a Zen master (can't remember the name) 'When you're happy be completely happy and when you're sad, be completely sad.' Such simple words, but so profound, feel those emotions without the need to escape or change them. I think in Non-Dual circles (some) there is almost a fear of emotions & thoughts, but what fun would it be being like a blank of wood? I also liked @@The0Self point that absolute happiness & peace has no opposite, but that does not mean you won't feel sadness or ever cry, unless you're trying to put on that spiritual persona of course
  17. Wanted to share this Interview with Novak Djokovic, a surprisingly wise & spiritual man. Listen from Minute 40ish, where he talks about remembering why he started playing Tennis (for the love & joy of it) and getting back to that, and how it helped him play the best Tennis of his career and go on the incredible 43 game winning streak. And, how he evolved from the mindset of playing to achieve solely, and how the winning, while very important of course, became secondary to the joy of playing. To me, this shows how opening up to the 'spiritual dimension' of sports, only enhances your ability & enjoyment of the game. And, it goes beyond sport, but whatever it is you love. We can get 'lost in the sauce' to use a pop-culture reference, but when you get back to your true Why, anything is possible. Just checked & he's been number 1 in the world for 296 weeks, which is crazy to stay at the pinnacle that long. And, it all stemmed from coming from his Love for the game & the joy of playing.
  18. @andyjohnsonman Yeah easily. In an updated video with Jay Shetty he explicitly talks about his 2 spiritual teachers & how his brother went to live in Spain to be near one of them! Yep, I mean what better way to actualize those values than a 43 win streak & an almost 6 year stint as world number 1, all from loving the game? He even subtly mentions Non-Duality / Infinite Consciousness in the video with Jay, he's certainly on the path.
  19. Wanted to share a few excerpts from a book I’ve been re-reading recently. This is it. Freedom is always found here & now. Enjoy it!
  20. @Seraphim Maybe I'd recommend reading it, even if just for the story of her life post awakening, when you talk about a life transforming awakening, it's about as extreme as it gets. I mean you kinda answered your own question- people are losing their mind, isn't that harmful in itself? Please stay safe! I hope whatever the teacher wants you to do helps you! @73809 Intimacy With The Infinite by Ananda Devi- Defo in my top 5 Non-Duality books, but I'm biased as she is my teacher haha
  21. @The0Self Yeah man, this was 3+ years ago anyways, and was just my personal entry point into taking this work seriously! Glad to hear the Jhanas have worked for you
  22. Boom, 'I' like this one! The character & personality live on, you just know yourself to be more, well in fact, quite literally everything lmao. One thing you forgot to mention- Life is 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000x better post awakening I think it was Shinzen Young who said he would rather live one day after his awakening, than 1000 in his life pre-awakening. Absolute freedom!
  23. @Rigel I don't know why people starve themselves of the beauty of Music & Art, it is so freeing and liberating & there's music for every situation! At a party? Listen to some Drum & Bass / Trap. In your feelings? Listen to some deep, emotional songs Need healing? Find that song that helps you heal Been through a breakup? well, there's enough of those for a lifetime Just met the love of your life? Again, there's no shortage of love songs etc etc Not sure who said it- 'Music is a gateway to the soul, it can express things that can’t really be explained.'
  24. @Consilience I agree, Pshces / States in general can show us what is possible. In fact, I got serious about spirituality after taking MDMA at a rave and feeling that love throughout all of my body & just being mesmerized about how good the feeling was. But, it's about integrating & utilizing those experiences into sober life. Some of those people are still using those substances heavily 3+ years later. hey, I'm all for having fun, I love to party, but as you said it's about knowing when to let go & take breaks at least. But, yeah I agree. I think the message was don't expect awakening to be like tripping / rolling 24/7, not that, these substances can't help one on their journey!
  25. Great constructive advice, I really like how you went about this. And, Awesome man, looking forward to the day one of Drake, Uzi, Future etc awaken, now that'll make for some very artistic & awesome music.
