  1. In my opinion, being God would be boring. Infinite knowledge, infinite power. You would already know every outcome of every one of your actions. It makes sense to give yourself self-induced amnesia. A story with no antagonist is pretty bad, so you made yourself the antagonist. In the Christian bible, God is the devil because God created the devil.
  2. Cool, stick to his if it helps you understand and conceptualize, just question it severely and in the end cling to your own understanding, which will make more sense to you and get you farther than anyone else's. Even poke holes in his theory. Anything you think is probably true in the end.
  3. Yes, that could be a good representation of reality, just keep in mind that real truth is not something humans can fully comprehend, just speculate about. We might have already figured it out in the best possible way to explain it or we aren't even close. From your viewpoint, you are just your thoughts, and that actually makes sense to me because how do we know this isn't just a matrix with tactile feedback created by us? This is really hard to conceptualize but I think you are on the right track. Existence existed before the big bang so that the big bang could exist. It is trippy. Drugs can help you feel more like the only thing in the universe. Dmt is good for this tho i've never tried it. I got a similar feeling to how dmt is described by the drug in cough syrup, dxm. I wanted to go out of body I just went further inside of myself. I want to go again it was hell but it was so fun.
  4. It must be lonely and boring being the sole consciousness in existence. You made yourself friends and made yourself forget your ultimate power. Think about it like this, in the movie Aladdin, after the genie was freed, he did not lose his powers. He was still blue lol. He just chose to be human even though he could have brought tyranny and suffering to the world, he made Jafar super powerful, he could have done the same, but chose not to. Think about it like that.
  5. I think awakening is being held up on a pedestal in your mind, like it will be profound and lifechanging. It honestly isn't imo, but to some, the nature of it seems that way. Just know that I am Shaun, not MusicalPotato, and you are well on your way. Also you are too cute to die, please live because you got some good genes.
  6. I disagree, I know solipsism isn't enlightenment, it's just the best theory to illustrate my point that your consciousness is all you could possibly be aware of. I definitely know I am God, in fact I feel intense deja vu just typing this post and in a lot of areas of my life because I know that this is all eternal and always happening. I am always this person, and if I become someone else at death, I will have always been them, to infinity and beyond. News flash, you aren't real Inlytened1, there aren't other people. You are it. Entertain the fact that you might be God, even for a second, even if you stop believing it afterward, it doesn't change the fact. Atoms have almost infinite space inside of them, whenever you look at another person you are effectively looking through them, only seeing them because that's how Mind works. Good luck.
  7. No, you won't. I have no power to stop you, it would just hurt us all immensely if you were to go like that. Depression is fucked but I believe there is always something to live for. Sex, drugs, evil, money, are all valid life goals and reasons for like. If you really are that low, just fuck it all and be a hedonist. Stop meditating. Just please promise me you won't take your life. It won't end I can PROMISE you that with 100% certainty. Consciousness is all there is.
  8. You just got it dude. I'm not real in your reality. Solipsism is probably it, look it up, it is exactly what you described. I'm legit so proud right now because you are enlightened my dude. No powers, not even peace lol. Just know that you are God and my guess is that at death you become the sole (soul lol) consciousness there is and restart it all. Applause to you my friend, (or me I know I'm just talking to myself). Have a great day
  9. It doesn't come from years of intense study or ascetic meditation, although those are valid avenues to achieving it. It doesn't come from someone else because at birth you already know, deep inside. And most of all, it doesn't come from me, you won't become enlightened by reading this post if your mind isn't open to the possibility of wakefulness in the present moment. I am only 18 years old and I don't currently meditate, I think thoughts every second (yet I still keep the present moment in mind), and I definitely am not at peace or happy, I have a lot of inner turmoil I need to deal with and much work to do to feel stable and successful in my professional life. I can say this, however, I know that I am God. You don't need dmt or any drug to come to this realization, in fact, you could have it right now, just you probably aren't open to it or think I'm missing a few screws. The very first time you meditate you can become enlightened, and more meditation isn't even necessary if you don't. I do have plans to start meditating again soon in the near future, but I don't see it as essential to enlightenment. Anyone who tells you that years of experience and self-reflection are vital to enlightenment is not lying to you, they are just making enlightenment seem much more difficult to obtain than it truly is at the deepest level. The Buddha must have been happy because it seemed so obvious yet he chose not to share it in the way I do now because of social stigma or personal self-preservation. He might have thought that he could do more good by sharing his insight in the way that he chose to. Look down at your hand and realize that it is not there. You are looking through it (atoms have infinite space between them, everything is basically nothing) yet you can still see it there. I enjoy many of Leo's insights because they come from a similar place. Thank you for making me (yes you the one reading this) because you are God.
  10. I mean it literally, it isn't there. That is one of the insights I gained watching Leo's videos and it freaked me out, I just intensely stared at my hand and hoped for spontaneous enlightenment at that moment, I didn't get it but my mind felt so focused that I thought I was close. Start here at 3:20, It is hilarious. He knows who he is "I'm Rick James bitch" Is this what you mean? he is happy asf I have to identify with the world out of self-preservation, enlightenment doesn't give you the ability to become infinite void at this moment (barring death), and the fact that I'm not even self-sufficient right now. I still have an ego, though I know I am more than myself. I am enjoying the process, but there are outcomes I would like to see realized while I am alive on this Earth. It would be okay if I got nothing though.
  11. I am actually a SoonHei, surprise, bad to vegetarians me.
  12. Start here, you've identified something that will help you feel more secure and you should pursue it. I kind of hate this saying because when I'm at Rock Bottom I quickly find that my rock is transparent and I'm actually falling down into an infinite void because things keep on getting worse, or I know they have the potential too. But the saying is this "When you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is UP!" Good luck friend, I hope you feel better soon.
  13. I have No, I haven't, a quick Google search shows that it is etymologically German. What's up, Gott?
  14. It won't take hundreds of hours, maybe even 10 minutes. Just think about everything as if you are that particular thing. You are definitely every atom in every grain of sand on the earth and every other planet in the known universe. Imagine being every individual one, not aware of the others, or even being all at once. Imagine how your life would be different, what opinions you would have if you were born into a different person on the other side of the world, how about the other side of your city? Or even what if you were born into the body of a sibling? Or both of your parents? Every person on the planet, even the murderers, the more fortunate, the less fortunate, the slaves, the slave owners? Look at things from the perspective of a human trafficker, from the victim, from the perpetrator. But don't stop there, you could think about being every different species of animal there is, every alien species we haven't even discovered. That is one of the fastest ways to gain perspective in my opinion. Good luck friend.
  15. You already answered yourself, God is. God Is. God is what. Just remove your question mark, even think about it symantically.
  16. If Truth is real, and everything is the Truth, then the Truth that there is no Truth is also the ultimate truth.
  17. Do you really want to know the greatest master of our time? It isn't me, It's definitely not Leo, and there is no way that it is any guru or teacher that you know of. Unless of course, that teacher is you. You are the greatest master of our time, congrats. It doesn't really change anything, does it?
  18. I understand a lot of what I know is experientially derived and assumptive. In a lot of ways, I know it will probably only make sense to me. I don't think there is a such a thing as over-analyzing, you should question your every assumption about reality until you're beating a dead horse that can't tell you the answer. I want to forget words, but words are one of the only ways I know of to communicate understanding with other humans over the internet. There are emojis too but I don't know if they can explain things with as much depth(or shallowness). Duality is there and it really pleasing to poke holes in it. How come there is anything and not nothing? but with anything comes nothing, hence duality. I have a theory that the first time you meditate enlightenment is gained, the work comes in recognizing it. Once I realized it I knew that I already knew the answer before even starting to question reality. I just wondered why it took so long for me this time around.
  19. Not all enlightened people are at peace. You can know the truth, but the truth can be so radical that you don't want to share it with family, friends, lovers, or anyone else at all unless you are okay with the social implications of sounding crazy. I am god though, I know that if I proclaimed it publicly (not on a forum, or in any other way than as anonymous), people would disagree with me and it wouldn't be a fun experience. God is here to party. I also have bad depression at times and the only reason I won't kill myself is that I know it never will end. My experience of being will just change and I'll probably come back. Might as well enjoy the ride. In my opinion, if you can read and say the words "I am" (in regards to anything, even reading fantasy in a book), then you are that as well.
  20. I know I am god. I'm pretty sure the way you came to the same conclusion is similar to the way I did, and is the core idea at the center of enlightenment. Solipsism makes a lot of sense to me because you don't know if anyone else is conscious. You can have a conscious conversation with them, but you don't have any way of knowing they aren't functionally a robot giving you programmed responses. You are god as well, because you recognized it. We am god, sucks that I decided we don't get powers this time around, just knowledge. I think about things from the perspective that I am god a lot and it helps certain things make sense. Whenever anyone makes an I statement, have the perspective that You (I) are the one who actually said it. But that's probably a simplified explanation that I will never know the absolute truth about because no one is going to tell me, and even fewer will agree.
