Ok. Fasting works. We have other people (over there) who fast only on water, sometimes nothing and it works. What I'm trying to get at is you don't need a story about it. Yellow removes the stories and compares the results from different systems of thought, and then takes what's common from them to integrate them together Yellow says "fruit and fasting seem to work" but drops the unhealthy ideologies from the result. Yellow teases apart the pathological from the healthy. That's why Dr Morse is nowhere near second tier. He's a delusional story teller bashing other systems rather than integrating what's common about them

Lol, No, you don't have to tell me, you just have to live from that place... You could potentially do anything you feel moved to do. It's completely open and even non verbal
-
@Raptorsin7 Your life purpose can only be discovered right at this moment with the removal of the illusion of time. It's a LIVED experience
-
LMAO... Exactly. If TIME was removed for you by your doctor today, what would your impulse be from living in the moment? FEEL your death approaching. This hypothetical, but you actually have to imagine you're about to die What is the thing you need to do? That's your purpose.
-
You keep forgetting that I've watched HOURS of his videos. Iridoligy most certainly does work like that. I states that the cleaner the body the bluer the eyes. That's the claim. So why do people who have blue eyes still get cancer? Why do people who detox still get cancer? Why do you and I burn when I eat a terrible diet but don't when we stop eating junk food? I still eat meat and grains (highly acidic foods) and you eat fruit. So it can't be the fruit detox that's doing it.
-
LMAO The question is what must you do today in order for you to feel like you die happy.
-
So THAT is your life purpose? That's what you need to do today to feel like you're living and will die complete? No, I don't think so. What's YOUR truth? Not a concept, but YOUR life purpose?
-
If people with blue eyes have cleaned out their lymphatic system, as iridoligy suggests is the case, then why do people with blue eyes still get cancer? And why don't they change to brown eyes when they eat "acidic food"? Of course you burn when you eat fried food, processed sugar and alcohol ,because thats not whole foods. Your own experience backs my suspicion. So people who don't blindly believe quackery like acid/alakline and iridoligy but can debunk such nonsense with basic common sense are now "ignorant"?
-
@Hello from Russia David Deida, John Grey. That's the only two authors I currently know of who are integrally informed and who talk about healthy "romantic" relationships.
-
@DrewNows Its no surprise to me that you are now studying "iridoligy" Isn't that some story that the cleaner your body is the more you're eyes turn blue? If that's the case, then why do people with blue eyes still die of cancer? Makes no sense. So you burn when you eat acidic foods and I don't burn when I eat acidic foods. Still your story makes no sense because I eat acidic foods and I don't burn. So your theory falls flat on its face, doesn't it?
-
You mention "detox" in the context of a deliberate detox diet of eating fruit. I've never done that. So I've never deliberately detoxed my lymphatic system. The fact is, you and I both notice that we don't burn anymore. I would say that it's got more to do with eating whole foods and getting the right nutrients than it has to do with conceps like "lymphatic detoxing" or "acid/alakline" etc etc or foods that "eliminate" well, whatever that means. All of that is just a story, one of many, partial, to explain an experience. It's not the truth. Looking at cases like Jessica Ainscough who also bought into the detox cures cancer story and died as a result explains why this is so. One of many many people who bought into an ideology and never survived. That's the point I'm making.
-
Maybe this would be a good time to introduce the dunning/Kruger syndrome
-
I've never detoxed my lymphatic system and I'm just fine. I'm polish/Scottish descent. Blond hair blue eyes. It wasn't until I started eating real food that I stopped burning. Nothing to do with the lymphatic system at all.
-
This is probably a function of eating a healthy diet. I eat highly "acidic" foods like animal products and grains but I don't burn either. I haven't had sunburn for 13 years

You can lie unconsciously or you can lie consciously. The first means you're doing it to maintain your ego, the second means you're doing it because you understand that it might be the best thing to do for now considering the context and dependent on how inclusive your thinking is. There are many interpretations of lies, at lower levels it's a very black and white approach to lying. But when your thinking becomes more complex then you can discern when it's right to lie. It's the same with stealing. At lower levels of development stealing is considered wrong, end of story. But what if you stole something to save a person from starving? This action then puts stealing into a whole other context. Stealing is now an act of love. So negative things aren't always negative and positive things aren't always positive. It's all dependent on who's observing. The problem humanity faces right now is that it's not communally complex enough to think in very complex terms like green, yellow and turquoise can. -
Just get a simple job, low stress, keep your head down and try to find a good therapist. They can help bring you back from this kind of detour from conventional living. One day at a time.

@undeather Ten minutes into this video and just pointing out that this isn't a critique of the integral model, it's a critique of how people have used the integral model. The integral model isn't set in stone, it is open to being developed , transcend and include the integral model. I've found it very useful, but it does take a long long time to master and I think that should be taken into account when making an overall assesment of the model. It's really for green people who are moving into yellow and looking for new ways to expand their self concept. Yellow and turquoise are constructs just like any other worldview. He's correct, the map is not the territory, but this guy only assumes that people wanted to adhere to and parrot the map, he has no idea how those people used that experience of discussion outside of the discussion. The map is only there to show you sticking points and what needs to be worked on.

@Raptorsin7 Question: Imagine you have visited your doctor and your doctor has given you three days to live. What are you going to do with your time? If the future was was taken away from you today, what would you do with that kind of freedom? I feel more alive just thinking hypothetically about this ?
-
Play the victim, but observe yourself doing it, don't judge it, don't condemn it, just observe it and observe the feeling in your body, the reactions of others, the loss of self esteem, and be very very honest if this behaviour is really in alignment with your life purpose. If you know what your life purpose is, and playing the victim isn't part of it, then you won't feel the need to play the victim

@assx95 Did you both have a relationship where she already confided in you for emotional support? We're you connected? If not, then she's not going to call on you for emotional support, she will only call on her friends. If she is the type of girl who needs to have sex with a guy to feel better about herself then maybe this is the best thing that you two didn't take things further? Sounds like a very low consciousness situation. Can you pull yourself out of this and raise your personal standards ?
-
Can you take a step back from yourself and watch yourself change? Surely you have noticed that some days you feel good and on top of things and other days you don't, you feel insecure, weak, unsure, low, desperate? Can you see change constantly happening in yourself? Can you see that yourself changes? Can you see that because yourself changes it can't be real? If you can see all of these things about your experience, does it still make sense to hold onto the belief that you cannot change?

I already said this, I said it's good to let people do what why do, but make them aware of how it's holding them back. But to lock a thread is to put a fire extinguisher on an inquiry that could have generated lots more discussion later. There could have been tons of comments on objectification so that orange can start to see its own mentality from a detached view. But it wasn't allowed because there is too much fear of chaos . So the thread is ground to a halt instead of delicately managed. Alternatively I wonder what would have happened had someone started a new thread about objectification and tagged arc in it? I wonder if that would be seen as trolling and splintering by the mods? Mods have to realize to that their perspective is also partial and subject to evolving.
-
Yes, you create a conceptual prison for both yourself and for them by being prematurely judgemental. However, taking judgement to the next level means to make assessment based on behaviour rather than define a person completely (as in what raptor suggests). But you can relax this even further by putting it all into a bigger picture perspective and judging behaviour based on context, taking a longer time frame view. For example I would let arc be himself for years while meeting him where he his because I have a crystal ball and can see massive growth in allowing but planting seeds that may not even sprout for decades. Delaying gratification, but not having idiot compassion and allowing a person to blindly walk over you - just merely keeping an eye on expressions and if it's obvious that it's getting out of hand and there is no self reflection going on then yeah mobilize capacity to draw clear boundaries But I think the mods are too quick sometimes to draw boundaries, there is a fear that chaos will prevail (which is not true).

@milii Thank you. Can you be more specific? Employers can't just fire you unless they have a good reason. We're you still in your probation period? (First three months)
-
There may be a problem if that's all the blue guy did. But people just locking threads because of arbitrary kneejerk reactions without contemplating the nuances of the whole picture is not very intelligent. Some potential for change gets lost every time a mod just acts impulsively and shuts a thread. Nobody with a big picture outlook shuts fertile and honest expression down. It's supposed to be managed, not suppressed.
