  1. I think you need to be more specific on what you want to do. AI is very broad.
  2. I know that I want to teach. The problem is, I'm not yet sure what to teach. I think I can figure this out with trial and error through starting to teach on youtube. I now have two choices. I can work as a high school teacher, possibly parttime, and figure out what I want to teach in my free time. Or I can try to be an entrepreneur. Becoming a high school teacher seems to be best option. I don't have any experience in entrepreuneurship. I do have enough savings to try it for a year or so, but if I don't have enough income (at least €1200 a month say) in the summer of 2021, life will become difficult. I do have a lot of experience in teaching. Although I still need to officially get my teachers' degree, I think I can do the work relatively easily. I may also just learn more about teaching in general through teaching in high school. And having a solid income gives me the freedom to explore what I want to teach, and to choose to teach the things with the highest value, not the things that sell best. However, I'm afraid that I will be walking around in the high school system, feeling like I'm wasting my time on learning students mathematics which they probably won't use later in life. I would prefer to learn them about emotional mastery or making relationships work. I'm also afraid that I'm just choosing being a high school teach because I'm overly cautious regarding entrepreuneurship. On the other hand, the downside to being an entrepreneur is that your teaching should sell well, which aren't always the teaching the world needs the most.
  3. I think this charity is very promising: https://www.fishwelfareinitiative.org/post/introducing-fish-welfare-initiative
  4. I don't think it will help with the specific case you mention. If you want to hear all day "What am I?", you can use headphones. And since enlightenment requires you to go beyond the mind, I don't think it will help with enlightenment itself. Neuralink can be a useful tool, just like a laptop or a daily planner can be a useful tool to create more consciousness for your mind. So it can be as useful for self-actualisation as most of these information technologies, I think.
  5. This may be interesting for those interested in transcending stage turquoise:
  6. And for those interested in practical advice, I found this exercise very helpful:
  7. For some reason, all my tier 2 transitions were paired with a very particular personal crisis. Normally I’m highly motivated and disciplined, but during those periods I lost all my motivation. From this I conclude that I transitioned into stage koral around January this year. Here is a basic description of stage koral (as I now understand it): Core value: Self-Love Paradigm: loving, I embrace World view: the world consists of finite perspectives and relations between those finite perspectives Stage koral starts to emerge when turquoise realizes the following things. Although turquoise perceives itself as a higher self or God incarnated in physical form, it is still very focused on its higher self. And although turquoise really values raising the quality of it’s consciousness, it still doesn’t love itself the way it is now. Stage koral wants to know all of reality and fully embrace it as part of itself. It cares about human beings, not because it is “good” to care about human beings, but because it is itself a human being and it takes the interests of all human beings as part of itself. This same statement can be made with other part of itself than human being, such as society, family, but also all sentient beings and larger systems. Stage koral also understands that impermanence is the only permanent thing in reality, and that love is a verb or a movement that is constantly taking place. Turquoise can be quite static and very focused on enlightenment or God as unbounded, unmanifested ground of being. I’m not familiar with many examples of stage koral. I think Teal Swan is a very good embodiment of this stage. If you’re familiar with other examples, I would love to hear that. And I would of course love to hear all your thoughts about this.
  8. Isn't all of this true for stage turqoise too, though? The subtle difference I perceive is that turquoise is still about manifesting the self for the benefit of existential reality, while koral is about taking all of reality as part of itself. I would also like to add that to me it makes a lot of sense that spiral dynamics doesn't end at an "other"-stage, because fundamentally there is no difference between self and other. I also think there is a really beautiful symmetry. Orange is most disconnected from spirituality. Green and blue are both into spirituality, but often on a belief basis. Red and yellow aren't that busy with spirituality, but are familiar with it. Purple and turquoise are in touch with the infinite aspects of self, but have some separation between their finite and infinite aspects. In beige and koral, the finite and infinite aspects of self are merged into one functioning whole.
  9. My pronouns are they/them And I'm saying that stage Koral sees self-love as its main value, while Turquoise prioritizes raising consciousness.
  10. I am wondering whether it may be a good plan to come up with more resources on what you can do as a career when you are getting enlightened and/or are in stage turquoise of spiral dynamics. It seems like many turquoise people become a teacher or public speaker, but I get the impression that there is now plenty of information available on the internet on how to develop yourself and get enlightened, and it is more effective to move people to other careers. Some people may for example become a scientist and research which methods for enlightenment are most effective in different situations. Some people may develop high school curricula to spread information about enlightenment. Some people may work on energy healing and making that more mainstream in healthcare. Some people may work on psychedelics research and policy reform. Some people may want to use their insight to reform government. A good model may be 80k hours: https://80000hours.org/ It is a non-profit and provides plenty of advice on which career you can choose best if you want to be maximally altruistic (according some kind of utilitarian standard). What do you think about starting such a non-profit with career advice for (aspiring) turquoise and enlightened people? Do you think that more coordination is necessary in this domain?
