. 1) What spiritual teachers say "You are God" ? 2) What spiritual teachers say "We are God" ? 3) What spiritual teachers say "All is God" ? I see some books with the title by obscure authors but who are known teachers that say "You are God" regularly or also the related statements above? 1955 _________________________________________________________________ 2005 __________________________________________________________________________________________ 2007 by Shashi Verma _________________________________________________________ 2012 by Merrilyn Richardson ______________________________________________________________ 2012 by Dr. Rahman Beckwith ______________________________________________________________ 2012 _____________________________________________________________ 2014 by Sean Taylor _________________________________________________________________________ 2015 ___________________________________________________

these 3 are all compatible According to Paramahansa Yogananda in his book God Talks with Arjuna: The Bhagavad Gita, Krishna describes kriya Yoga as: “By the concentrated practice of Kriya Yoga pranayama—offering the inhaling breath into the exhaling breath (prana into apana) and offering the exhaling breath into the inhaling breath (apana into prana) —the yogi neutralizes these two life currents and their resulting mutations of decay and growth, the causative agents of breath and heart action and concomitant body consciousness. By recharging the blood and cells with life energy that has been distilled from breath and reinforced with the pure spiritualized life force in the spine and brain, the Kriya Yogi stops bodily decay, thereby quieting the breath and heart by rendering their purifying actions unnecessary. The yogi thus attains conscious life-force control.” -

So what Leo is saying analogously is that Hitler commissioning the the killing of Jews, Romani (gypsies) and others he did out of love for his country from his perceptive, so we shouldn't judge Accordingly "Infinite Love" means acceptance of everything Similarly a serial killler or child rapist loves what they do -

Leo Gura, remarks on China from Division vs Unity video Dec 8, 2019 30,171 views (on 12/12/19) 43:23 it's not that simple the devil is all in the details and then we're we're politics and economics gets really screwed up is when people adopt these simplistic ideologies thinking that they understand how to build a great society without realizing this very delicate interplay between division and unity which is happening all the time not just in society but you know society is just one instance of a much larger pattern that we're talking about here how about China's treatment of Muslim minorities and the Tibetans. China is trying to build a unified civilization in the hopes of achieving that they're willing to go to great lengths they're building a massive surveillance state their citizens are not able to participate and vote in many ways we might say that China is sort of going towards that extreme of overall a collectivist overly trampling on individual rights. You know they don't respect religious minorities. They're doing terrible things with their Muslim minorities they're sending him into indoctrination camps reeducation camps basically concentration camps treating them terribly you know the stuff they did to the Tibetans quite terrible as well various crackdowns they're doing in Hong Kong also problematic. You know but from their point of view, what is China doing all this for? Are they evil? ls that what they're doing? Of course not. China is actually doing it out of love. Love of course is unity, reunion. Another word for reunion is love so from the Chinese perspective they're doing this because it's important for them to become a superpower in the world. They spent a lot of time in poverty they have over a billion of people most of whom weren't who were in poverty or you know just as recently as fifty years ago and so they need to do a lot of rapid development and they have been doing that and in many ways they're they're outpacing Americans and they're gonna be the biggest nation in the world. They're gonna be the biggest superpower in the world pretty soon they're gonna be the biggest economy in the world pretty soon and so they're emerging as a world superpower and from their point of view that's more important than maintaining individual religious rights see now I'm not justifying what they're doing I'm not saying that what they're doing is good or bad there are trade-offs you see the mistake is to look at the China situation to see oh the Chinese are so evil because they don't respect privacy and they're bad to the Tibetans and they're bad to the Muslims no it's a mixed bag there are certain things that the Chinese are doing which are very problematic and there are certain things that our Chinese are doing it which are great which are helping the whole world you know they have giant manufacturing centers that allow for the production of most of the world's products at cheap prices which enables you to enjoy the luxury that you enjoy here in America you see so while you're sitting here simplemindedly criticizing the Chinese you're simultaneously not realizing how much you're benefiting from what China's has been doing over the last 50 years. See so this isn't about judgment or criticism of anybody it's about realizing that there's something much larger going on in the universe here consciousness is going through a process of polarization and depolarization division and reunion it's not about good and bad it just is what it is before you judge it understand what it is that you're judging understand how complex and sophisticated it is understand that all of your stupid little ideologies whatever they are are utterly inadequate to explain and to understand and to navigate what's coming in the future. You know the Roman Empire is a great example of division and reunification there were many different individual city-states all across the Mediterranean the Roman Empire came to power they dominated all the way up to Britain all the way down to Spain and even into Africa and into Egypt and all this they dominate all this land and all the way out to Persia all the way into Germany but then they got too big the Roman Empire was so massive that then started to decay it was hard to keep that order and that giant monopoly on the Mediterranean intact and so slowly the other nations and tribes started to pick them off from the sides there was internal corruption internal division and then it all fell apart and then it reunited 2,000 years. ______________________________________________________________ Here is the quote from the above that the thread starter refers to "They're doing terrible things with their Muslim minorities they're sending him into indoctrination camps reeducation camps basically concentration camps treating them terribly you know the stuff they did to the Tibetans quite terrible as well various crackdowns they're doing in Hong Kong also problematic. " -

If you do a regular short meditation to quiet your mind it can help your career. For instance 20 minutes once or twice a day, one could be on a lunch break also to depressurize in the middle of a work day. However if you pursue enlightenment and put all your attention into it that will replace your career. Enlightenment is generally a pursuit for for monks or people who want teach it. -

The title of your posts is Infinite imagination vs infinite love but then in this opening post you switch to understanding. That is 3 different things 1, Infinite Love ( = acceptance of everything - according to Leo) 2. Understanding. (and you could understand something but not love it ) 3. Imagination (an artist could do something imaginative but not understand what they did) -

@billytblack check out this new thread, full article at link there Also: How we Evolve & Integrate (including the "Dark Night") ~ Shinzen Young "dark night of the soul" is similar in psychology to Depersonalization and he also talks about what he calls emotional "flat-lining" which can be related to states of tranquility _____________________________________________________________________________________ Psychology Today Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder Depersonalization/derealization disorder is an altered state of self-awareness and identity that results in a feeling of dissociation, or separation, from oneself, one’s surroundings, or both. Because it is normal to feel this way briefly and occasionally—due to side effects of medication, recreational drugs, or some physical and mental health conditions—depersonalization/derealization disorder is usually diagnosed only if such feelings of detachment frequently recur, cause anguish, and interfere with an individual's quality of life. Symptoms Depersonalization is a sense of experiencing one's own behavior, thoughts, and feelings from a dreamlike distance. According to DSM-5, symptoms include: Feeling emotionally numb, or as if the person is not controlling his or her words and actions Feeling detached from ordinary sensations, such as touch, thirst, hunger, and libido Derealization is a sense of distance from activities going on in the world, or feeling that one's surroundings are distorted or somewhat unrecognizable. This may include: Feeling as if objects are the wrong size or color Feeling as though time is speeding up or slowing down Experiencing sounds as louder or softer than expected Feeling as though one is watching events and activities unfold in a movie or on a computer screen, rather than actually participating In order to qualify for a diagnosis of depersonalization/derealization disorder, these episodes must cause clinically significant distress and/or make it difficult for the person to function normally at work, in school, or in a social setting. They must also not be attributable to another psychological condition such as schizophrenia. Individuals with depersonalization/derealization disorder will generally start showing signs in early childhood; symptoms rarely occur for the first time in adults over the age of 40, and only 5 percent occur in adults over the age of 25. Episodes of depersonalization and/or derealization may last for hours or days at a time and recur for weeks, months, or even years. At all times, the individual is typically aware of both their inner thoughts and what is going on around them; as a result, they are conscious of the fact that they feel detached from their body and/or their surroundings. It’s common for people with depersonalization/derealization disorder to fear that they don’t really exist, or that their symptoms are the result of irreversible brain damage. Causes A history of severe stress, neglect, or physical or emotional abuse can lead to depersonalization/derealization disorder. Acute moments of stress, anxiety, or trauma may also trigger symptoms in individuals without a history of such factors. Studies have shown that poor sleep quality is associated with more severe symptoms of dissociation. Depersonalization/derealization disorder occurs with equal frequency in both men and women. Treatment Since depersonalization/derealization disorder often occurs with (and can be triggered by) other mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression, treatment can be difficult. For treatment to be successful, the therapist must develop an individual plan and ultimately address all symptoms and conditions. A close eye should be kept on whether the patient experiences any suicidal thoughts or impulses. Various psychotherapies can be helpful to those who suffer from the disorder, including cognitive and behavioral techniques, grounding exercises, and psychodynamic therapy. In addition to psychotherapy, antidepressant and anti-anxiety medications are often used to treat depersonalization/derealization disorder. -

Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu 12,090,281 views 74.3K subscribers (about section, youtube) Videos on meditation, Buddhism and the monastic life. ~~~ Welcome to the YouTube channel of Bhante Yuttadhammo, meditation teacher and director of Sirimangalo International, a non-profit religious organization created with the intention of helping to spread insight meditation in the tradition of Ajaan Tong Sirimangalo. (who he was taught by) Vipassana Meditation/Theravada tradition ____________________________ wikipedia: Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu (also known as Ajahn Yuttadhammo; born 1979) is a Canadian Buddhist monk. He was ordained in 2001 under Ajahn Tong Sirimangalo Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu was born Noah Herschell Greenspoon in Ice Lake, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada. In 1985, he was began a homeschool curriculum at the discretion of his parents. In 1993, he returned to public school and enrolled in Manitoulin Secondary School. In 1996 he left the public school system again and resumed his studies at West Bay Alternative School. He is President of the non-profit Sirimangalo International. Education and ordination In 2000, Yuttadhammo traveled to Thailand where he began to practice Satipatthana Vipassana meditation at Wat Phradhatu Sri Chom Tong. He returned to Canada to study Sanskrit and Indian Religions at McMaster University, later pursuing study of Pali at University of Toronto as well as Thai Dhamma, Abhidhamma and Pali studies at Wat Phradhatu Sri Chom Tong. In 2001 he returned to Thailand and ordained in the Theravada tradition at Wat Phradhatu Sri Chom Tong. Teachings Yuttadhammo has been teaching meditation since 2003 in Thailand, Sri Lanka, USA and Canada. He currently maintains a YouTube channel where hosts both live chatrooms and pre-recorded videos answering viewers' questions about Theravada Buddhism. He occasionally teaches Pali to advanced meditators. He also facilitates a meditation website for groups and individuals.https://meditation.sirimangalo.org/ __________________________ I have posted some of his videos and I have seen other people post his videos. He has a lot of videos and I think they go back to around 2009 or 10 before that he had a blog. Initially he came off bland to me, lacking in intensity and I sometimes feel like he has a smirk sometimes but I have grown to like him. He covers a lot of topics, is very articulate and highly dedicated to being a Theravada monk. He knows Pali well (the language of the scriptures of Theravada Buddhism, (the Pāli Canon or the Tipitaka in Pāli), written in Sri Lanka during the 1st century BC. He seems quite observant to the traditions and I listen to others who are less observant also but he seems to love being a monk and is very informative on reading the original Buddhist scriptures and relating them to everyday life. He represents the path of being a monk rather than a way of being suited to common folk but even if you don't intend on becoming a monk you might find some of what he says informative or interesting. I often reads lay people's questions hence "Ask a Monk" He often describes the meditation form in Vipassana called "noting" where in sitting mediation thoughts arise you label the thought with a word describing it as if to say "yes I see you I know who are" and in doing so it more easily passes aka "mindfulness" of the present moment, thought that arise in it and the body
