Are you willing to put a gun in your mouth and shoot yourself? Are you willing to go into hell are you willing to live through hell are you willing to suffer in the streets of a slum? Are you willing to die of a drug overdose? Are you willing to actually incarnate into that life and live through the worst hell? You could possibly imagine not as a hypothetical theoretical something that might happen someday but are you willing to live through it right now and of course you probably don't you probably don't want to but you realize that God would because God is love -

One could believe Mahāsamādhi exists but Viji was not a case of it. Or someone could believe one could believe Viji's death was not a case of Mahāsamādhi and the concept of it is hard to buy. Now looking at the concept again: Mahāsamādhi (the great and final samādhi) is the act of consciously and intentionally leaving one’s body. A realized yogi (male) or yogini (female) who has attained the state of nirvikalpa samādhi, will, at an appropriate time, consciously exit from their body. This is known as mahāsamādhi. This is not the same as the physical death that occurs for an unenlightened person. So suppose someone decides on a certain date they meditate and take some poison and die and they do so. Is it Mahāsamādhi ? So you were prepared to do this and were thinking about informing your loved ones. So how did you honestly intend to do it ? -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_distortion#All-or-nothing_thinking Cognitive distortion All-or-Nothing Thinking This is also referred to as “Splitting," “Black-and-White Thinking," and "Polarized Thinking." Someone with the All-or-Nothing Thinking distortion looks at life in black and white categories. Either they are a success or a failure; either they are good or bad; there is no in-between. Because there is always someone who is willing to criticize, this tends to collapse into a tendency for polarized people to view themselves as a total failure. Polarized thinkers have difficulty with the notion of being ‘good enough’ or a partial success. Example (from The Feeling Good Handbook): A girl eats a spoonful of ice cream. She thinks she is a complete failure for breaking her diet. She becomes so depressed that she ends up eating the whole quart of ice cream. This example captures the polarized nature of this distortion--the person believes they are totally inadequate if they fall short of perfection. In order to combat this distortion, Burns suggests thinking of the world in terms of shades of gray. Rather than viewing herself as a complete failure for eating a spoonful of ice cream, the girl in the example could still recognize her overall effort to diet as at least a partial success. This distortion is commonly found in perfectionists __________________________________ All-or-nothing thinking has many different faces, but at it’s core it is a self-sabotaging mindset. If you’re waiting for the right time and motivation, one of two things happen: You never cross the starting line. You keep waiting for the right time to show up, but it never does. You get caught in the start and stop loop. You finally get a boost of motivation. BUT, the minute things get hectic or don’t feel perfect any more, you slam on the brakes. The problem with all-or-nothing thinking is that it is a trap. One that research shows us has strong ties to: Anxiety, Depression, Low self-esteem, Self-criticism, In depression, exaggerated all-or-nothing thinking can form a self-reinforcing cycle: these thoughts might be called emotional amplifiers because, as they go around and around, they become more intense. Typical all-or-nothing thoughts: My efforts are either a success or they are an abject failure Other people are either all good or all bad. I am either all good or all bad. If you're not with us, you're against us If I can’t give this 100% of my time and attention, then it’s not going to work. I am completely overwhelmed, I need to stop until I have more time. If I can’t be perfect, why bother? Now is not a good time. There’s too much happening. I’m waiting for the “perfect” time to start. I have never been successful. Everyone is against me. All-or-nothing thinking often involves using absolute terms, such as never or ever. In order to overcome all-or-nothing thinking, it is important to avoid thinking in negative, absolute terms. All-or-nothing thinking is problematic in many ways. It’s limiting and “creates extreme and impossible expectations.” It requires achieving the positive part of each thought (e.g., being successful, smart, leading a great life) with absolute perfection. Because that’s unattainable, people settle on the other option: the negative. As a result, people view themselves and their experiences negatively, which often leads to depression, anxiety, low motivation and a sinking self-esteem Use the word “and,” instead of “or.” Thorn shared this example: Instead of “I’m a good person or a bad person,” consider “I’m a good person and a bad person.” That is, “I have a lot of great qualities, and I do a lot of good things, and sometimes I make mistakes and poor decisions.” Instead of “I had a great week or a terrible week,” consider, “I had some wonderful things happen this week and some things that were difficult.”To break free from of the all-or-nothing mindset, it’s key to understand the connection between Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions. Thoughts have an impact on the emotions you feel and the actions you take, Emotions affect your thoughts and actions, and Actions influence your thoughts and emotions. 7 steps to change all-or-nothing thinking. Learn to spot all-or-nothing thinking. Describe the situation. Capture the stories you tell. Pinpoint the emotions your story triggers. Describe the result of your thoughts and emotions. Challenge your initial thought. Choose a new thought.

Marcus Aurelius on Purpose “People who labor all their lives but have no purpose to direct every thought and impulse toward are wasting their time—even when hard at work.” “At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed, tell yourself: ‘I have to go to work—as a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I’m going to do what I was born for— the things I was brought into the world to do? Or is this what I was created for? To huddle under the blankets and stay warm?'” “You don’t love yourself enough. Or you’d love your nature too, and what it demands of you. People who love what they do wear themselves down doing it, they even forget to wash or eat.” “Everything is here for a purpose, from horses to vine shoots. What’s surprising about that? Even the sun will tell you, ‘I have a purpose,’ and the other gods as well. And why were you born? For pleasure? See if that answer will stand up to questioning.” “Life is short. That’s all there is to say. Get what you can from the present – thoughtfully, justly” "“‘And your profession?’ ‘Goodness.’ “You can pass your life in an equable flow of happiness if you can follow the right way and think and act in the right way” “When they’re really possessed by what they do, they’d rather stop eating and sleeping than give up practicing their arts.” “You must build up your life action by action, and be content if each one achieves its goal as far as possible - and no one can keep you from this” . “You have the power over your mind - not outside events” “It will even do to socialize with men of good character, in order to model your life on theirs, whether you choose someone living or someone from the past” . “When another blames you or hates you, or people voice similar criticisms, go to their souls, penetrate inside and see what sort of people they are. You will realize that there is no need to be racked with anxiety that they should hold any particular opinion about you” . “The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way” “A man’s worth is no greater than his ambitions”. “Dig deep; the water—goodness—is down there. And as long as you keep digging, it will keep bubbling up.” ____________________________________ People haunted by the purposelessness of their lives try to find a new content not only by dedicating themselves to a holy cause but also by nursing a fanatical grievance. A mass movement offers them unlimited opportunities for both. -- Eric Hoffer Passionate hatred can give meaning and purpose to an empty life. -- Eric Hoffer Purposelessness is the fruitful mother of crime. --Charles Henry Parkhurst If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them. --Henry David Thoreau A universe without purpose should neither depress us nor suggest that our lives are purposeless. Through an awe-inspiring cosmic history we find ourselves on this remote planet in a remote corner of the universe, endowed with intelligence and self-awareness. We should not despair, but should humbly rejoice in making the most of these gifts, and celebrate our brief moment in the sun. --Lawrence M. Krauss The man without a purpose is a man who drifts at the mercy of random feelings or unidentified urges and is capable of any evil, because he is totally out of control of his own life. In order to be in control of your life, you have to have a purpose-a productive purpose. --Ayn Rand The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose. --Myles Munroe Loneliness is not lack of company, loneliness is lack of purpose. --Guillermo Maldonado If we have nothing to do but service our own pleasure - because society has taught us that's all we're worth and we're exiled from positions of authority from which we could actually shape society - then we just become hedonists. Eventually, despite how great it may look on Saturday night, come Monday morning there's just purposelessness. --Clive Barker You are here to attain something. That is functioning as a barrier. Drop that barrier. Just be here! Forget about any purpose, life cannot have any purpose. Life is the purpose, how can it have any other purpose? Otherwise you will be in an infinite regress: then that purpose will have another purpose, then that other purpose will have another purpose.... Life has no purpose, and that’s why it is so beautiful. --Osho -

Most who are said to have entered mahasamadhi are older males and sometimes sick. Leo had mentioned this woman in regard to mahasamadhi and he is not that old either. But I would call this woman a more questionable example of mahasamadhi. The other aspect to this is if Leo were to go into mahasamadhi it how would he do it? Only he could answer this. He said he came close to doing it so he must have had a method in mind. However he decided not to do it, not to let his physical body die and be cremated or buried. What he described in the video and in later posted comments was an actual physical death that his family might find him literally dead in a bathtub. -

Vijaykumari , better known as Viji, wife of Sadhguru ( Jaggi Vasudev), died age 33, leaving behind 7 year old child, 1997 slandering is not like killing and it is not slander to question how this young women was alleged to have died "Of course, police dismissed the case due to the lack of evidence. But you need to understand that if you give money to police in India, they will do anything. Our police department is not 100% free of corruption yet. A case can be dismissed if the sufficient bribe is paid." __________________________________________ There was yet another detail Jaggi had divulged to Vijji at the very start of their relationship: the fact that he would not live beyond the age of forty-two. Their marriage came with a predestined expiry date. For Vijji, who loved Jaggi with a fervour that verged on the religious, this was no deterrent. ‘I never saw my wife as a peg. My marriage was built around me, but I never built my life around it. That doesn’t mean I didn’t love Vijji. I romanced her in every possible way. But I took her into my life as a flower, not a peg to hang on to.’ --from the biography "Sadhguru More Than A Life" _______________________________________________________________________ Another possibility is she poisoned herself or something of the like -

@LaucherJunge I recommend reading the link, a lot more information and documents there. The cause of death is not proven and we might like to believe that it was Mahasamadhi for the sake of it being a case of Mahasamadhi. However it seems quite suspicious to me and not like other cases of Mahasamadhi https://sadhgurukilledhiswife.wordpress.com/ -

Could Viji, Sadhguru's wife have been murdered or committed Suicide? Viji was a wife of Jaggi Vasudev (Sadhguru) She died on January 23, 1997. The reason for her death has been explained as mahasamadhi. Mahasamadhi is defined as follows: Mahāsamādhi (the great and final samādhi) is the act of consciously and intentionally leaving one’s body. A realized yogi (male) or yogini (female) who has attained the state of nirvikalpa samādhi, will, at an appropriate time, consciously exit from their body. This is known as mahāsamādhi. This is not the same as the physical death that occurs for an unenlightened person. But did Viji really attain mahasamadhi? Let us first look at her pics. See how she looked during those days and how young she was: People who say that she went to mahasamadhi are just repeating what Jaggi Vasudev said or what others are saying. I have never come across anyone offline or online who was actually present when it happened. It is said that there were hundreds of people who witnessed it, but who knows? Does just saying that over and over again make it true? Even if they were present at the event, what exactly did they witness? Did they actually witness Viji sitting in front of them fully alive, being in meditation and dropping dead finally? Did all this happenbefore their eyes without missing any details or did they hear such a news when Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev just came out of the room and told them that Viji had left her body? This incident happened many years ago and it is easy to convince people that she went to Mahasamadhi by repeating the story over and over again. If someone wants to believe in something, they just have to hear it over and over again. Because, if everyone in Isha maintains the same thing, you would never question it even though you were not present in that place. Very important point: In our country, nobody cremates someone who attains Mahasamadhi. It is a custom to bury people who attained Mahasamadhi. Now, consider the following points: 1. Viji, Sadhguru’s wife, was cremated; not buried. Why? 2. She was cremated immediately and Jaggi Vasudev didn’t wait for his father in law to reach there in spite of the requests. The request made by Viji’s own father to wait was ignored. Why? 3. His father in law made a police complaint later that he was suspicious about Viji’s death and that Viji might have been murdered. It is true that anyone can make a police complaint and that doesn’t mean that the allegation is true. But the person who made the complaint was not just anyone, but Viji’s own father. Why? Think about it… 4. Viji was very young and her daughter was too young to lose her mother. Jaggi said Viji had planned her mahasamadhi few months before her death. No mother will do such a thing to her child and leave her child orphan. Why would anyone be in such a hurry to leave their body? 5. She didn’t even wait to see the completion of the consecration of Dhyanalinga. As per Jaggi’s own words, he has been working towards the consecration for three life times. He even decided where and in which womb Viji and others close to him should be born. His sole reason for being born this time was to consecrate Dhyanalinga. Even then, she irresponsibly left her body before the consecration was complete though she knew that she was also playing an important part in the consecration by forming an energy triangle with Jaggi and the other woman Bharti. And Jaggi, who had a lot of control over in which womb Bharti and Viji should be born, had zero control over her mahasamadhi. Why? 6. According to Jaggi, Viji was not an accomplished yogi. So it is a mystery how she learnt the art of leaving the body at will. Because, leaving the body at will is something that cannot be done so easily even by the advanced yogis. How did Viji, a normal householder and not an accomplished yogi was able to leave her body at will? 7. According to Jaggi, he has the power to peg people down if they are about to leave their body because of enlightenment. Still, Jaggi was not able to hold Viji down and stop her from leaving the body. Doesn’t it sound strange? Here is an excerpt from the book “‘Enlightenment – An inside story” and here is what Jaggi Vasudev said in that book: more at link https://sadhgurukilledhiswife.wordpress.com
